Revelation Seventeen: The Compromising Church

The Fire of Antichrist will burn the False Church that has forsaken the absolute Word Of God. This is a truth that has failed to get the attention of the multitudes of religious people who refuse to leave backslidden church groups. Look at how the Father told the Lord Jesus to word this warning, “And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire” (Revelation 17:16). It was our Heavenly Father that called this mammoth church world “The Great Whore.” The Bible gave us a picture of this False Church, so we would flee from her as the end approaches. Several facts that the Lord of “His True Church” wants us to see:
*We know how much Jesus Christ loves His Church because of the major effort of Satan to create a rich and world-loving counterpart.
*The Wine of her Fornication is an imitation of the new Wine of the Holy Ghost provided to the Lord’s Church.
*The names of this False Church are vile and blasphemous (her false doctrines), while His Church is pattered after the truth of the Holy Bible.
*Her blood is of the hated saints, while we are transformed into His family by the blood of Christ.
*The beauty of the False Church is “dimestore” decorations, but the saint’s beauty is the Holiness of Christ.
*She rides the world and loves the world’s glory, while the “Called, Chosen, and Faithful” (Revelation 17:14b) have separated themselves to His righteousness.

  1. I have been living this for 5 years with my wife.
Leadership at most the churches we have been to ,
have hated us because we will not compromise the
message or any other part of our lives.

  2. Dear Pastor Chambers,

nor shall we take the mark, the name or the image of the beast; turning our back on sodom and all that it has to offer. We are to come out of her. But where do we go? Babylon seems to be everywhere.

    Pray without ceasing
    & Look up!

    God Bless

  3. Brother Chambers, I thank God for brothers like you who preach Thus saith the Lord! This truth is beuaty. Soo much false doctrine today its amazing. Spiritual warfare is greater than ever today. I find myself debating calvinists today more than anything – along with the word of faith. The road is narrow and few there be that find it. So many i feel will miss the blessed hope. Its no wonder in revelation we see a great multitude that no man can number coming out of the tribulation (martyrs). The compromising church will wake up but many will too late as they see themselves under the rule of the antichrist. I have’nt listened to this sermon yet lol but i know its going to be excellent, they all are. The title has soo much truth to it.

God Bless you Brother Chambers! This church is my church every week, for i have not one church that preaches from the infallible King James Bible where I live, nor on the blood of Christ.

  4. The Holy Spirit is giving clear inspiration to His Servants to warn this False Church.
The False Church is a big challenge for those who want to spread His prophetic voice with
the power of the gospel message.

  5. Been there, done that!

    Hello Pastor Joseph.

I was a lifelong member of the Episcopal Church until I finally left in disgust in 2007 due to its heretical and even blaspemous “new doctrines” which embrace active homosexuality even among its clergy, a feminized “Mother Jesus,” anti-Israel bias, and plurality of salvation views.

I then joined a breakaway Anglican Church only to discover it was ruled by an autocratic minister who decided for himself which parts of the Bible were “true” and which were not. My membership there ended by a particularly vocal confrontation between him and me, my position being that I refused to waste any more time with someone who would not listen.

Since then, my mother and I have our own service each Sunday.

The thing is, the “Apostate Church” has now become universal ranging across Protestant and non-Protestant denominations and by so doing forming it into the very tool the Antichrist will use to deceive the world into worshipping him.

It is a sad, but very significant sign of our times that most of organized relgion has been so blinded by Satan that it cannot even see this very thing happening right before its very eyes this very day.

  6. Church is too dangerous. Which is why I have not been to one in almost 15 years. My family worship at home with Bible studies so as to completely avoid any attempts by any church to sway us from the true doctrine of Jesus Christ.

  7. I agree with Robin McCann…I stopped going to church 12 years ago.
The singing portion of the service was stretching to over 40 minutes and
the actual Bible preaching/teaching was reduced to 10-12 minutes. And during those
10-12 minutes, 3 minutes was wasted reading the church bulletin out loud to
    the congregation.

Watching, waiting, looking up and listening for the trumpet.

  8. This is good teaching and it is important to separate ourselves from the ungodly. However, we are not to forsake coming together as believers. Communion and fellowship is important as well as accountability. Satan likes to keep us isolated and lonely and also desires to take worship out of the church. I have to disagree with the above comment from Susan B. Worship for 40 minutes is a beautiful thing as we were created to worship God! I believe that churches that cut to worship short are doing a disservice to the congregation as worship brings one into the throne room of God if one’s heart is pure and desiring to experience His presence. Preaching is important as well but honestly it is every believers responsibility to read and KNOW what the Holy Word of God says. It should not be left to the Preachers and Pastors. In fact, if the Lord allowed every church to be shut down, then what? We have to practice the presence of God in our homes on a DAILY basis in order to be made strong in the Lord. That includes worship, praise, reading and meditating on the word and time alone and with others to pray! God bless the bride of Christ!

  10. “Come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her (the church)sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues” (Revelation 18:4).
“For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?” (1 Peter 4:17).
“Behold, the days come, saith the LORD God, tha tI will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, not a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD” (Amos 8:11).
