THE CHURCH 0F THE LIVING GOD WAS PURCHASED BY CHRISTS OWN BLOOD!! To forsake the House Of God is to sin against thr Lord Jesus Christ. Whether in the First Testament or the Second Testament the House of God was the joy of all believers. It was King David, a man that God said was “After His Own Heart” who wrote by the Holy Ghost, “Those that be planted in the House of the LORD shall flourish in the Courts of our God.” (Psalms 92:13) That’s a promise for those that love His House. They will have a special position to serve in the City of New Jerusalem which will be one gaint CITY/TEMPLE. The whole city will be the Court Of The Lord. “And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.” (Revelation 21:22) Every believer is called to care for His Church. We are to be planted in His House the very moment we are “Born Again”. I remember how this young boy fell in love with the Church. I rode a bicycle 30 miles to church, often, after I was saved. LISTEN!! “Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.” (Acts 20:28) When Apostle Paul wrote to a group of Saints he wrote to them like this, “Unto the church of God which is at Corinth…” (I Corinthians 1:2) Paul often spoke of how he persecuted the Church and tried to destroy it. Touch the Church and you touch the Heart Of God. Love the Chuch and you are loving what our Father and His Son loves. BE PLANTED IN HIS HOUSE!!!!!

I find your message confusing, you talk about the Church of God and the House of God, Is the Church of God the People of God, of is it the building with the steeple.I for one am a part of the TRue Church of Jesus Christ and fellowship with others of like mind, in the building with the steeple. Two absolutely different things. Your message talks about His Church and then you switch to riding 30 miles to church, (the building with the steeple)I think
His Word says that we are the temple of the Living God “the Church” who fellowship with other born-again disciples, for edification etc.

you should never call the Holy Spirit a ghost!! Don’t read the kjv it has errors in it.
Get the nkjv or ESV bible which is word for word translation. It doesn’t matter about the
church (Building) We are the church! Not the building. I am a nazarene and I am thinking of
leaving that church. And not going to any because they are all corrupt.

As we know, the church is in fact composed of all believers from all ages. The righteous people of the Old Testament waited in Sheol until Jesus came after his physical death to free them and accompany him to heaven (Luke 4:18; Ephesians 4:8-10); Matthew 28:52-53). Those of the New Testament are those who believe in – and ON – Jesus (John 3:16-18 ; 6:28-9; Acts 4:10-12).
There was a time when the church (believers) could be found, well,in a church building. I fear that this is in many circumstances no longet the case, because, unfortunately, what one increasingly finds in church buildings these days are nothing more than “politically correct,” apostate social clubs.
Just as the “shekinah” was driven from the Temple because of the idolatry of old Israel (which I personally believe is vividly depicted in the vision in Ezekiel 10 – though I would welcome other opinions on this), I believe the Holy Spirit has been driven from most of our church buildings as well by the idolatry of following erroneus human doctrines instead of the doctrines of God which are found in the Bible.
NOTE to Fran Vincent: With all due respect, the King James version is an absolutely faithful – and, in my opinion, the very best English translation of the original Hebrew and Aramaic (Old Testament) and “koine” (common) Greek (New Testament). It is true that some English words have changed in meaning over the years, but with a good concordance like Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance, this is an easily remedied situation.
Regarding the rendering of “ghost” as in Holy Ghost comes from the Greek word “pneumo” and is correctly rendered as “ghost” or “spirit.” Therefore Holy Ghost and Holy Spirit are both correct. (Strong’s Concordance)

Oh dear, I may hate myself for commenting on this issue of The Church of the Living God.
I have always believed that THE Church, THE Body of Christ, was the same thing.
I know we are to worship together as believers. But there comes a time and is now, that there are soooo few “believers” even in the church buildings.
I saw in about the mid 70s most denominational churches breaking up. And for many reasons.. I saw the Methodist Church break first, then the Episcopal Church next and then it was ‘filled
and replaced by Assemblies of God Churches and Churches of God.. and then mixed Charismatic Churches… I moved to Southern Baptists and visited some Independent Baptist Churches and NOW, today, its Mega Churches and they are hollow, without Truth or Agape and NO Holy Spirit move at all… They are big and rich and apostate.
I will always believe the Lord Jesus Christ KNOWS where His true believers are and I believe they are every where doing the best that they can…. in spite of the apostasy that has HIT hard and on target to ALL the churches in America and today world-wide.
I appreciate your words, Pastor Chambers and you know I respect you and your teachings ,but there are NO churches here to go to….Especially if you have some age on you… Sorry but senior-citizens are not even welcomed or wanted….Unless maybe they are rich and put a lot of money into the pot.
I feel so sorry for the young pastors that ARE called to the Lord’s ministry today….but even they have been tainted to many degrees….This New Age world.
Its not just the political world that wants to drop grandma and grandpa. ITs the ‘church’ too.
People today no longer respect us Christians at all.. I am so sorry to say.
Even my old Southern Baptist Church back home in Georgia have ‘turned’ and it breaks my heart… they have given over to that Warren fellow..he is, I think, the NEW John the Baptist in the churches today..
And if you do get to mention Jesus’ Name.. which Jesus would you be speaking about? Its that bad out here. There are many Jesus’ out there today….people have their own Jesus….

Why don’t you just come out and say that—- , —–and —– familys are committing sin by having home church and not coming to —– church building. One of the traits of a cult is who they can’t control, they destroy and if you are not with them then you are against them, and can’t be right with the Lord! Kenny.

I agree, today you can’t find a church, at least in our area that is not using the NIV only. Rick Warrens materials and books are used in Sunday School and VBS. If you speak against Warrens teachings, as I did you are attacked. I really question if the Holy Spirit is present in these churches, when Scripture teaches “blaspheme the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.” Mark 3:28-29 The church has become just a building where the Love of the truth has been left at the front door. I do hope you find it in your heart to start an internet church. In talking to friends throughout the state, the same thing is happening in their churches. The sermons, as one friend said are nothing more than “vain jangling” teachers and preachers that babble, and talk but say nothing of real value or truth.
Note to Fran: Please go back to the KJV ASAP. A little known fact, the number 666 in the form of a mobius symbol appears on the front cover of many NKJV. In 1993, a young man came to our front door wanting to speak to our son. Dressed in black,down to his fingernails. I have never had such an overwhelming feeling of evil in my lifetime. When questioning him, he told me he was a Luciferian. He asked me what Bible did I use, KJV of course. He asked me did we own a NKJV, yes we did. His reply, you already have my father’s book in your Christian home, just look on the front cover.
Many years later this young man did get saved. Because of him I began comparing the new Bibles with the KJV, the NKJV denies the deity of Christ in Acts 3, Rev 1:6, Matthew 20:20, 26:64, Mark 14:62.

Wilderness churches/internet web cam or the come out of babylon and do not be part of a physical church is just another deception and scheme of darkness – they have all bases loaded!
We know that the compromised church / apostate church is more prevalent in size today and that Satan has his seat, Jezebel teaches her doctrines, Balaam his and the Nicoliatians their teachings (Revelation 2:13-20). We also realize the spiritual state of the church in that seducing spirits teach (1 Timothy 4:1-2) that leaven in in the dough to imply that doctrines of devils would always be in the church; that sinful men and heresy and error were there by the parable of the wheat and the tares; that the demons were the birds in the air that co-exist with any believers doctrinal belief and faith and transgressions (Matthew 13:24-25, 31-32).
Like you has said in your email that church attendance is as Biblical as it was in the days of the Patriarchs and this pattern is from Genesis to Revelation with Church Government and congregational and assembly patterns. This reoccurring truths is our progressive truth to hold on to and obey, yet with the truth of darkness, sinful men/women we must apply ourselves to study the Scriptures,to learn to discern and be led of The Spirit and know our calling and vision He has on our lives to guard against the snares set before us and for eternal life that we not be named as one of those who Jesus says but did we not heal the sick, cast out demons and do mighty things in Your Name to hear Him say “depart from me I do not know you”
“Straight is the gate and narrow is the way that leads unto life” that is for sure and it is a fearful things to not fear The Lord or to take our salvation as a sealed done deal.
Pastor Chambers thanks again for standing in His whole armor and bringing forth Kingdom living instructions to be planted in the house of God.

Fran Vincent, brother, the NKJV departs from the Textus Receptus over 2000 times, and the ESV is a calvinist produced bible, though it says it’s a “word for word” translation – it comes from the corrupt Westcott and Hort mss. The King James Bible is the perfect, pure, and inspired Word of God in english. Don’t believe the rhetoric of it having “errors” in it.

We are to be “planted”~(To set or place firmly; put in position. To found; establish,)IN THE HOUSE OF GOD. My heart breaks for my brothers and sisters who have been in the church all their lives and are so deceived as to believe they do not need to be under the leadership and authority of a seasoned man of God. BE VERY CAREFUL!! How dare you think you know more than the Sheppard God has ordained to be over you in the Lord?? (I say this with humility and concern)It is not the word of Joseph Chambers that speaks to us that we should be planted in the House of God, but it is the Living Word of God! What is there about that particular scripture that is so difficult to understand my sisters and brothers? None of your excuses are going to be acceptable on that Great Day. Have you so easily forgotton Apostle Paul went about to establish churches and was so adamant about them growing and prospering; so much that he journeyed twice more? Jesus dwells in our bodies which IS His Temple. Be admonished friend as to who you are calling “cultist,” especially if the man of God is preaching the Word of God. He according to I Timothy 5:17 is “worthy of double honour” of “ruling well” the HOUSE OF GOD and “labouring in the Word of Doctrine.” Please accept that Satan is out to deceive all of us with all subtlety. He is skillful my brothers and sisters. He is delicately cunning and crafty and is secretly active executing his works. We need more than just a ‘lay- me- down- to- sleep’ prayer life. Dear Sister Donna Byrd,
Striving to remain pure from all adulterated versions of the Scriptures, I only read the KJV and the NKJV. I looked up each of the passages you gave as proof texts to the NKJV teaching against the deity of Christ and am confused. Would you please take these verses apart and share in more detail how the differences I read can be interpreted as teaching against His deity?
I am not being contentious but teachable. When I do the work of my own research on anything a brother or sister shares as “thus saith the Lord,” I take time to compare what they say with the written word just as the Bareans of Acts 17:11 did.
I’m having trouble seeing anything that denies His deity in the verses you cited. So, please help me understand and see what you see.
