Left Behind “A Multitude That Cannot Repent”

The impossibility to repent and to make your voice heard with God is awesome to consider. THAT TIME IS ALMOST HERE!! Add to this sad condition the fact that Jesus has come, the Rapture of the Bride is finished, and you are left behind for the judgment to occur. The strange emptiness toward God and spiritual matters will be penetrating. Suddenly, you remember the way you rejected God’s will for your life and chose the way of self and sin. You may remember the Godly, Holy life you once knew and lived. You may have even been a Holiness minister yourself, but the way was tough and many rejected your message so you decide to soften it and become accommodating. But, now, your strange emptiness turns swiftly to utter despair as your soul bears witness to the complete certainty that there is no hope for you. It’s over, you have rejected Him so completely in the past, and, now, He has rejected you. Now, you know you cannot repent.

God’s infallible Word gives us a clear picture of this future fact. Apostle Paul is warning the church of the Thessalonians about the Rapture and the appearing of the Antichrist after the Rapture. His words are perfectly clear. “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” (II Thessalonians 2:7-12)

This text explains how the Antichrist is restrained from appearing until after the Restrainer (He that letteth) is removed with the Bride of Jesus Christ. Then, his appearing (the Antichrist) will be dramatic and even demonic. He will be the master deceiver, fully empowered by the devil with paranormal powers to impress and deceive. His deceiving power will be especially directed by God’s decree against those that had rejected or forsaken the truth of the Holy Scripture. The darkest time of this deception is after the Rapture, but a lesser level is already at work. The first verse above says, “the mystery of iniquity doth already work.” The spirit of deception has preceded the person of evil himself. Present deception is terrible, but only light compared to after the Restrainer, the Holy Ghost, is gone.

This very hour and this generation is the most dangerous period in church history. Jesus warned of this stressful and dangerous period when evil and sin would become so dominating of the world that living holy would seem impossible. His words were, “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” (Matthew 24:12) The world is almost as if hell has taken over and Righteousness and Holiness seem so outdated and even strange. Family members and friends will compromise their lifestyle and then pressure you with unrelenting fury to do the same. Just remember, it’s your wedding garment, and you are responsible to keep it clean by your total surrender to the cleaning Blood and keeping power of His Spirit.

“MY SPIRIT SHALL NOT ALWAYS STRIVE WITH MAN…” For over four thousands years the Heavenly Father has warned the world that His Spirit has a limit. “And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.” (Genesis 6:3) He was speaking to Noah’s generation, the same generation that Jesus named in Matthew chapter twenty-four. He compared that generation with the generation when the Rapture would occur. There is a multitude in this very hour that the Spirit is withdrawing His plea. This is going to escalate until the Rapture and then a multitude of religious apostates are going to be left to their schemes and false ideas of Christianity.

The church world has created an endless list of religious ideas that give them an excuse to sin. The doctrine of “once saved, always saved” is one of the worst false schemes of them all. It would not be so bad if men were told that there is no license to live in sin and those that go back to their evil ways were probably never saved. Yet, to teach that even fornication and sodomy, along with a long list of other vile sins, cannot negate your redeemed stature before God is utterly false. There is a multitude right out of this false idea that is being deluded beyond hope. They live like sin is a joke and that God has already forgiven whatever sin in which they choose to indulge.

No one can deny that conviction of sin is rare today. Most sinners have no conscience and treat any idea of right and wrong with disdain. Ministers have retreated in their pulpits to pretty platitudes and psychobabble. To rail against adulterers, cheating, defiling the Sabbath, or any major sin is to be profoundly scorned. Religious television is more dangerous than MTV. There is an all-seeing Eye watching and He will shortly act to change the worldview of sin. Isaiah by the Holy Spirit settled this subject… When thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.” (Isaiah 26:9)? One of his most breathtaking words from God were, “Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies.” (Isaiah 28:17a)

Doctrines That Destroy Truth! There are doctrines like the “Born Again Jesus” theology that have totally destroyed the saving message of the Gospel. Millions have surrendered to the spirit of these false doctrines even though many do not understand them. There is no redemption in this message. Any person that has embraced Kenneth Hagin, Kenneth Copeland, and most of the Charismatic teachers has also embraced this spirit and no longer cherishes the bloodstained cross. This is one of the darkest of the End Time delusion. Doctrines like the “Born Again Jesus” theology make those that embrace the doctrine, or even the spirit of this doctrine, arrogant and unteachable. These doctrinal lies are subtle and many people that embrace these strange teachers do not appear to care what they are being taught enough to search the Scripture. The hyper-Charismatic teachers have deluded tens of millions that will be turned over to reprobate minds because they did not prove all things by the Word of God and the discernment of the Spirit of God.

The present church world is overwhelmed and overjoyed with the new “sinner friendly church” and its soft message and loud swaying music. It’s a perfect picture of apostasy. From Robert Shuller and Bill Hybel to Rick Warren, it’s a march of easy believism preparing another multitude to believe a lie. Rick Warren’s book,The Purpose Driven Life, is clearly the most deceptive work of my lifetime. It’s a lie wrapped in babble so clever that any religious person can claim it if there is no strong discernment by a Christ-centered heart.

A radical acceptance of the Word of God is the only view of Scripture that does not leave man vulnerable to judgment. Jesus made it clear that His Word is perfect and must be held in total faith. He said, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4) This was also made plain in II Thessalonians. The indictment declared that, “…they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.” (II Thessalonians 2:10)No person can come to Jesus and say; “I believe part of Your Word so I want to be saved.” Even if you believe the sacrifice of His Blood and claim faith in that Blood, but reject the rest of the Word, your faith is unacceptable. These religious trends are the purest evidence of apostasy and preparations to believe the lie. Multitudes of these apostate people will be outside of grace after the Rapture. They chose new religious ideas over the infallible Word of God. It was their choice and now the result is delusion and judgment.(PLEASE ORDER THE REST OF THIS GREAT STUDY. ASK FOR B1010!).

  1. Dear Brother Joseph, You have presented to us all today one of the most awesome teachings the new testament has to teach, and it needs to read over and over again by all of us, it is vital, but very seldom taught in the pulpit, most people will still be here when that terrible times begins, you can ask most christians what it means and they will be unable to answer you. Being left behind, Brother, that just does not bear thinking about. We, all of us have known fear in our lives, I tell you now and I mean it with all of my heart, “Miss out on the coming of The Lord Jesus Christ” and you will know what fear is, it is “not” natural human fear, I believe it will be the fear of God, for it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. “Make sure” you are ready when Jesus calls. Dont be left behind.

  2. Great teaching/preaching, Brother Chambers! It is indeed sad to see so many in churches (the buildings, not the body of Christ) who are deceived by the “psycho-babble” being preached in so many pulpits today. “Easy believism” has taken over and replaced true Holy Ghost inspired preaching. Political correctness has replaced the solid, non-compromised Word of God as black and white truth is now a misty gray. The banner of man is being raised instead of the Cross of Christ.

Brother Chambers, you and I have spoken of the “Once saved, always saved” doctrine several times, and although I do believe in that doctrine, it has always appeared we feel about the same on the issue. I believe if a man truly repents after being convicted (by the Holy Spirit of God and the hearing/reading of the Word) of his sin and sinful state, and he or she invites Jesus Christ into their lives to be their Savior; they become a new creature in Christ Jesus. Old ways DO pass away, and, behold, ALL things DO become new. They should not desire the things of the flesh. Their taste buds must be changed to desire righteousness instead of unrighteousness. They cannot and will not go back into that lifestyle of sin and rebellion. If or when they do sin, they are immediately convicted by the Holy Ghost and they EARNESTLY repent with a broken and contrite heart. They KNOW they WILL be chastened; even to the point of God taking their lives if they continue in their rebellion and sin. Salvation is not to be toyed with or taken lightly, for it was bought with the highest price; the precious blood of the Lamb of God, the Lord,Jesus Christ.

Therefore, I am in total agreement with you about the PERVERTED doctrine of “Once saved, always saved” which has engulfed the organized church today. I also believe most who “profess” do not POSSESS the Lord, Jesus Christ. They are blind sheep who are following blind shepherds, and they love to have it so. That is why it is so vital for God called preachers, like yourself, are standing in the gap and exposing lies and deception; but at the same time, giving the WHOLE TRUTH of God’s Word! May the Lord, Jesus Christ continue to bless your ministry and continue to hold you in the palm of His hands. Until the SHOUT!!

  3. Dear Pastor Chambers

Timely article, makes me think about the simple statement our Lord Jesus said “remember Lots Wife” She was Lots bride, she actually followed him out of Sodom, We may never know her name as it is taken from our memory, When the Lord call us we cannot look back as she did.

These days are very evil, i often pray in the morning and ask the Lord to create in me a clean heart, to place in me the right spirit and always in the blood of Jesus/ Yeshua

    God Bless
    jaimie

  4. I seriously find this whole document somewhat False. Now I don’t like Rick Warren, the properity preacher. But, first of all, the Once Saved Always Saved is from the bible, although not worded quite that way. Now you must be truly saved and that is to believe in your heart that Jesus is the son of God, died on the cross and arose, and that his purpose here is to save those of us who call on his name, and we must actually call on him to save us, accept his gift of Grace. Once that takes place we are immediately indwelt and sealed with the Holy spirit. If we continue to sin, we are convicted and brought back to God thru the work of the Holy Spirit. I know that many people “say” they accept Jesus and continue to live as they want, and maybe this is what you are trying to convey. But your message comes across as, if you are truly saved and then sin you will become unsaved. Which is blatantly not true. The Holy Spirit does not come in and out of our bodies each time we commit a sin. Also, who is to judge (but God himself), which sin is the sin that will make us Un-saved after we commit it?! Do we judge from the bible scripture which sins are those, since all sin is equal in God’s eyes and all humans are sinners. The only unforgivable sin is to turn against the saving grace of Jesus and the Holy Spirit, or to deny Jesus/God/Holy Spirit, as Paul taught. This whole document reeks of Church of Christ teachings. I became saved, asked JEsus to be my savior, praying to him when I was a child. And yes, I totally understood what I was doing. Do you think I have remained sin free all my life? Absolutely not. HAve I tried to remain sin free? Sometimes yes and sometimes no. I have had to bring myself to him for forgiveness many times over things I did that I know were wrong. But if I fail to repent of one thing, is that going to throw me into Hell. I think you may could have explained things a little better in this document if you truly mean that the asking of Jesus into your heart as savior means you are in fact saved. Remember the bible scripture that you are Saved by Grace and not by your own works. If we work to keep ourselves saved, then we don’t need Jesus. We need him because we are all sinners and will never be truly righteous until we stand before him in our redeemed bodies. There are those who know the truth but never go before him and repent and ask for him to be their savior. Maybe that is what you meant. But it really bothers me the way this article comes across. Not because I am worried about my soul, but because there are those out there who are lost and may come across your teachings and find themselves even more confused. Don’t you want to lead people to Christ? I do. I am not perfect and I have sinned many times. But I love JEsus, he is my savior and he is my Lord. If I had to continually worry about doing something wrong and going to hell, life would be quite unbearable indeed. Jesus wanted us to rest assured, and this was taught by Paul, that we have eternal salvation thru the Grace won by Jesus on the Cross, and our belief and acceptance of that. If we have to continue to work at staying perfect, then how much was Christ’s blood really worth? The purpose of trying to remain a good Christian and live a pure life is to – keep a good relationship with him, help keep us from evil and danger and to help lead others to him. So, hopefully there are those out there who read the bible for themselves and see what Being Saved, actually means. I don’t think there is one person on this earth who has remained totally sin free even after accepting Christ. One person may struggle with alcohol addiction, one person may have drug problems, one person may have hit his wife, one person may have had anger issues, one person may have trust issues…. Do I condone this behavior? No. But my point is, we all sin from time to time. We are evil and sinful in nature, born into this world of sin created thousands of years ago. There is nothing we can do, no works, no righteous living or deed that will get us into heaven. There is belief and acceptance of Jesus only. And once we have done that, will we always be perfect? No! Let he who is sin free cast the first stone. So I ask you Brother Chambers, have you sinned today? How about yesterday? Last week? Did you always ask forgiveness of your sins, or what if you forgot to ask forgiveness for a sin? What if you didn’t realize a sin you commited was a sin?If you died would you go to heaven or hell? So the true satan teaching is the teaching of ” work to stay saved”, the devil does not want us to rest easy in our salvation. He wants us to question God and Jesus, question the gift we accepted from him and tear our minds, hearts and souls up with doubts and worries. I am afraid if we go by the perfect Christian theory, the rapture will come and go and everyone will still be left standing, and Jesus will be quite lonely waiting in the air for his church. God Bless all of you who come to know Jesus as your Lord and Savior. I hope I reach a few of you out there. Sandra

  5. wow…. all I can say is God-directed, highly anointed writing! Got goosebumps … both from your message here, Bro. Chambers as well as what the first 2 posters had to say (those are the only ones currently showing up ~ there may be more posted before this one here gets posted).

Some how I knew in my spirit that even as I (finally) updated my own prophecy site this morning, that you were busy preparing to give us another hard-hitting (but true) message straight from the Word of God! May you be greatly blessed for not backing down & for not softening the message. Sometimes I wonder if this takes a lot of strength out of you — because I’d venture to guess the very minute you post a Biblical message, that the adversary would like to come after you!

You wrote: The church world has created an endless list of religious ideas that give them an excuse to sin. Amen & Amen!

{I would like to know more about “defiling the Sabbath” ~ could you, at some point, aim to explain in greater detail? I do not believe the Sabbath was ever done away with — even in the New Testament. But to find someone in the U.S. who actually “keeps it”…?? Normally even “Christians” claim they are no longer under the law — so therefore all things are lawful.

I’d like to know for my own sake — as I do not want to be guilty of doing that myself.
    Thank you.

    Bro Joseph,
What was the initial purpose of this message? It seems you got sidetracked a little. The message is titled – “Left Behind “A Multitude That Cannot Repent”” which would imply that you were going to talk about the age old debate about whether those who had heard the gospel before the rapture and not believed would be able to be saved after the rapture and during the tribulation. Instead, you talked mostly about the “once saved, always saved” debate which I totally believe. That’s not me, that’s scriptural. No human is perfect. Contrary to what you personally would like to believe or what you preach, even real Christians sin(yes, even you). If your argument is that if a professed Christian falls into sin, then they were never saved to begin with, then that would mean no one has ever been saved. Everything we do do and say is recorded even after we become Christians. Our “works as Christians” are what gets put under the scrutiny lamp at the Judgement Seat of Christ, NOT OUR SALVATION. And NO human (namely legalistic Christians like yourself)can determine one’s salvation. Yes, the Bible does say “..you will no them by their fruit..” but that verse is speaking specifically to a Christian’s “works” he/she has done for the Kingdom of God, not whether they’re saved or not. One’s salvation is NOT up for human debate. Christ settled that. And a person’s salvation is between them and God. You’re messages are starting to sound more and more like legalistic Christianity. While I don’t support the likes of Rick Warren, Joel Olsteen, & TD Jakes with their effeminate gospel, & prosperity gospel messages; at the same time, I don’t support “supposed” men of God adding to His Word either, or “helping” Him out. It’s the Holy Spirit’s job to convict, not yours. It’s real simple, Those who accepted Christ as their savior will be raptured, period. Those who do not will not be raptured. I think I will not be getting your newsletter anymore, because you are sending out a false message and just like I said earlier, because you’ve gotten the message wrong, this will be one of your works that will be judged, but your salvation is still in tack regardless of your sin of adding to God’s Word. God Bless You.

  8. Sandra ~ I was in your shoes & thinking along the same lines as you a “hundred years ago” /smile/ at the slight exaggeration! It wasn’t until I fully immersed myself in the Word that I finally understood.

I must go on record that it is NOT all about “belief and acceptance of Jesus” ONLY. The book of James claims that even the demons BELIEVE in Jesus ~ yet, they are anywhere but heaven bound!! In fact, they are the OPPOSITE of heaven bound. And where pray tell does the Bible say we are to “accept” Jesus? It says that it is God’s will that all should come to REPENTANCE. Without repentance we are told that we would perish as well.

Matt 7:23 claims that *MANY* will be told on Judgment Day ~ these are even people who cast out demons in Jesus’ name & healed people & did many marvelous acts ~ but the Lord will tell them to get away from Him because He never knew them — YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS!!

BECAUSE they NEVER TURNED AWAY FROM EVIL!!!!!! {“repentance”} If they were still PRACTICING sinning even while doing “wonderful deeds” in His name, even healing, even casting out demons, no matter WHAT they did on the “good side” ~ if they refused to TURN FROM evil, they are cast out of the Lord’s presence…. and into the Lake of Fire.

2 Tim 2:19 (b) says: “All who belong to the LORD must turn away from evil.”

You’re right in that we continue to have the sin nature and sometimes addictions can be so overpowering that it takes the strength of the Lord Himself to help us to overcome. But the Bible does tell us we are to be overcomers. We may slip once in a while….. bad thought…. bad word…. we slip, we confess, we have our feet washed & the Lord promises to clean us. I know what it is to fall down/get up! Fall down/get up!

But the kinds of sins you’re talking about ~ well, the Bible is VERY clear on which sins (they’re actually listed!) ~ and those who “practice” them will not be allowed into heaven!! See 1 Cor 6:9-10; Romans 1:29-32; Galatians 5:19-21; Ephesians 5:5-6; and Revelation 21:8 makes it clear that it is NOT *ONLY* unbelievers who go to hell ~ and from there, the Lake of Fire. Even things that most in the world would consider “petty” sins ~ such as stealing and lying. Again Rev. 21:8 says that liars will have their place in the eternal fires.

I have to disagree with you also on the level of sins ~ there are some that are surely worse in God’s eyes: 2 Pet 2:9-19 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: {10} But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.

Note v 10 says “CHIEFLY them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness….”

    YES, Sandra, if one does NOT repent {TURN} from sinful ways, then the Holy Spirit WILL be withdrawn from him!! King David was even in danger of that! {re: Psalm 51}

Lastly, proving that we must willfully follow the Lord in holiness and obedience (of course, we will not be *perfect* YET…. but we are to strive on that narrow road & not purposely PRACTICE ungoldy living) Even so ~ everyone likes to quote John 3:16 ~ so from John, the “love” disciple, he also says this:

    2 John 1:9
Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son.

“abide” means to STAY and “doctrine” means instruction/teaching

So you see, (though I full well realize that most will stubbornly refuse to take the whole counsel of God because it’s just so much easier to believe what we want to believe)… but to take the whole counsel of God means we must take the Bible as a WHOLE ~ and that of course, includes its instructions.

I truly believe that the Lord can take the most vile sinner and make him into the most humble godly person if he will truly repent.

Do not make the eternal mistake of turning away from Him in thinking that you cannot live up to it. YOU CAN!!! Anyone can!! It is easy ~ a 2 year old child can understand to “not go near that stove” or he gets his hands (or bottom) slapped. If the Bible tells us to DO something ~ then we should do it!! If it tells us to NOT do something, then we should NOT do it. It’s that simple.

I would encourage all of us to read the New Testament through over & again & do not pick & choose “cafeteria style” just one or two verses — as we know, any false teacher can do that much. satan attempted to use the same methods on Jesus when Jesus was in the wilderness.

Be careful! and be alert ~ as our adversary roams about as a HUNGRY lion ~ seeking whom he may devour!! {we would not be told this — if Christians could not be devoured!!

We must not snub our noses to the truth! The truth is the truth — regardless of whether we *LIKE* it or not.

  9. Excellent, Pastor Joseph!

I, too, don’t believe that OSAS is true, either, but I have read the various defences of it from people whom I consider true Christians nevetheless and do not employ this as an “excuse” to sin in their own lives. Unfortunately, I fear that some do figuring they can sin all they want and “repent” at the last minute. This is very dangerous because who really know when his or her last minute will come? God is NOT mocked! (Galatians 6:7)

I have also never heard the OSAS proponents reconcile this concept with Paul’s “branches discourse” (Romans, chapter 11), nor the reality of one being able to be blotted out of the Book of Life (Exodus 32:32-33; Rev. 3:5). In order to be blotted out, one must have previously been in it. [If one’s name is in the Book, one is saved, if not, then the Lake of Fire is their destination (Rev. 20:15)].

The OSAS argument that if someone is “truly saved” they can’t lose their salvation certainly cannot be proven since no human being is capable of knowing the thought processes of another. How can one person tell if one if therefore “truly saved” or not?

The downside of an OSAS outlook I think is that it could certainly justify a sort of “lazy Christianity” in that someone might figure that after they are saved, they can coast from then on out.

As for the rest of your essay, as tough as it is to get someone to accept Jesus today, in the Post-Church it will be many magnitudes more difficult. Of course the same people who embrace sin and evil now will continues to do so to an even greater degree. I think those relative few that are saved by accepting Jesus, many of whom will be martyred for so doing, are some of those those who are the “fence sitters,” those who are aware of Jesus but never made the commitment for him. Perhaps the overhwelming effect of the Rapture itself will go a long way toward oepening their eyes.

For those of us who have already chosen Jesus, we should all be trying to grow the Remnant right now, because time is most definitely not on our side!

  10. My dear brother in Christ Joseph…Thank you for sharing this dissertation on a vital end-time subject. Oh that more preachers would speak of such things so vital to the edification of the church. I hope you will not mind if I hone in on your some of your words to make a point. Since several here have commented about “once saved always saved” belief, I am impelled to speak about how you expressed the following:

“It would not be so bad if men were told that there is no license to live in sin and those that go back to their evil ways were probably never saved. Yet, to teach that even fornication and sodomy, along with a long list of other vile sins, cannot negate your redeemed stature before God is utterly false.”

I also contend that to claim salvation there must be evidence of fruit thereof. Yes…even Jesus gave us “Not everyone who calls on my name…”. Repentance must occur or there is no deal (not to add anything to the requirements for salvation). Belief is the key, but not just ascension. Jesus, Paul, and many of the great evangelists in history used the method of first closing the mouth of the sinner, by the Law (from the Word), then calling for true sorrow and a repentant heart (one that brings the sinner to the alter realizing their hopeless situation and that they are bound for hell, and then calling on the name of Jesus for help. Now allow me to point out that it confuses good preachers when you speak against eternal salvation (meaning false conversion) stating “…to teach that even…vile sins, cannot negate your redeemed stature before God is utterly false.” This is because the Lord pointed out that “if you say that you are not a sinner, you are a liar.” Even a perfectly redeemed person is a sinner covered by the Blood of Jesus Christ. Paul reports that the saved Christian must “work out [his] salvation, in fear and trembling,” basically because there is salvation and then sanctification “from milk to meat.” What you needed to say (as Paul did) is that “there should be no hint of these things (vile sins)” in one who has been saved. I hope you see the difference, without splitting hairs. I only bring this to your attention, because very good and godly preachers will turn off all of what you expressed in this very vital piece, if you are not clear on this point and have no hint of ambiguity in your writing.

So out of love for you, I have taken pains to point this out.

God bless you and your ministry,
    Michael

  11. Dear Brother Paul, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE DO I BELIEVE THAT ALL THAT MISS THE RAPTURE WILL BE LOST. WHERE DID YOU GET THAT?????? THERE WILL BE A GREAT MULTITUDE SAVED AND MARTERED.
    Joseph Chambers
    Dear Joseph,

I agree with much of what you spoke of, with exception to your belief that those left behind after the Rapture will ALL be destined for Hell. The Bible does NOT teach that at all, in fact, the Book of Revelation talks of a remnant (Jew and Gentile) being saved. They are referred to as Tribulation Saints. The eternal fate of those left behind will only be sealed by the “mark of the beast”. Again, this is confirmed in the Book of Revelation.

I’m afraid that your misinterpretation on this issue makes almost all of the Book of Revelation and other biblical passages that speaks of these last days (and there are many) quite redundant.

Who do you think those people whom the AntiChrist hunts down and beheads for refusing his mark are? They are the Tribulation Saints!

  12. SALVATION AFTER RAPTURE

    Dear Joe Chambers,

For those who find themselves left behind after Rapture. SALVATION IS STILL POSSIBLE, but will be much harder to obtain. For these people the GOD WILL USE THE RAPTURE AS THE BIG WAKE-UP CALL FOR THOSE LEFT BEHIND. When saints leave this world, they LEAVE BEHIND BIBLES, PROPHECY BOOKS, LEFT BEHIND VIDEOS AND OTHER MATERIALS needed for those left behind. The lucky one of the tribulation will be the ones who had bibles left in their house by loved ones. These could probably be the first people saved during the Tribulation. THESE PEOPLE WILL BE MARTYRED AT THE 5TH SEAL OF REVELATION. The TRIBULATION WILL BE THE MOST CRUEL AND BRUTAL TIME EVERY. Before that people lived in a relatively FREE WORLD. After the rapture people will be under the most brutal dictatorship ever. Even America will not be a free country. PEOPLE ALWAYS FLEE DICTATORSHIPS IF THEY CAN. But if you find yourself in this dictatorship THERE WILL BE NO PLACES TO FLEE TO EXCEPT TO RUGGED MOUNTAINS. THERE WILL BE NO CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS. The only way to flee the most cruel dictator ship is to be in the Rapture. If you missed it there is NO ESCAPTE, YOU WILL BE MARTYRED OR YOU WILL TAKE THE MARK OF THE BEAST. The great majority will RECEIVE THE HIGH POWERED DELUSION (2 THES 2:10-12). The strong delusion will be upon those who CONTINUE TO REJECT CHRIST AFTER BEING LEFT BEHIND FROM THE RAPTURE, AFTER RECEIVING THE BIG WAKE-UP CALL. THE REASON THAT GOD SENDS JUDGEMENTS DURING THE TRIBULATION IS TO GET PEOPLES ATTENTION. THOSE WHO DO NOT HEED THE JUDGEMENTS WILL BE DOOMED. Bibles will be largely unavailable (FAMINE OF THE HEARING OF THE WORD OF GOD, AND THE LACK OF PREACHING OF THE REAL GOSPEL OF JESUS IN CHURCHES) during the Tribulation because the ANTI-CHRIST WILL BAN THESE. If you are left behind and your relatives or friends left you KING JAMES BIBLES OR GENEVA BIBLES, you are one of the luckiest ones of the Tribulation. START READING THESE. THEN REPENT AND ASK GOD FOR FORGIVENESS. Salvation is still possible, even in Tribulation, but life wil be much harder. YOU WILL BE MARTYRED. The 2 WITNESSES (MOSES? ELIJAH? JOHN THE BAPTIST? ENOCH?) will evangelize the world during tribulation. There also will be 144.000 JEWISH MISSIONARIES of 12000 from each clan. GOD INTENDED FOR ISRAEL TO BE THE MISSIONARY NATION. If you want detailed instructions for LEFT BEHINDS, There is an article by TODD STANDBERG TITLED “OOPS, I GUSS IWASNT’T READY!” on the RAPTURE READY WEBSITE. http://www.raptureready.com or http://www.raptureme.com That has instruction for LEFT BEHINDS. Yes you can be saved in the Tribulation, but LIFE WILL BE VERY HARD. YOU ALSO WILL BE MARTYRED. DON’T GET SWALLOWED UP BY THE STRONG DELUSION THAT COMES LIKE A TSUNAMI. THE SATANIC TSUNAMI IS COMMING. It will sawallow up those that dont receive Jesus.

Receive Jesus now as your Lord and Savior.

    Sincerely,

  13. “For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
There is a lot a information packed into this single verse. To begin with, it says ‘for by grace you are saved THROUGH FAITH’ – let’s stop there for a second.
“Grace” (Gk charis) means benefit, favor or gift. It is from the word ‘grace’ that we get the word ‘gratitude’ or the sense of being grateful.
Note that grace alone does NOT save. Grace is both the extension of the gift and the gratitude of its recipient. To be grateful, one must first receive. While grace is extended to all mankind, not all mankind accepts it.
Not all mankind is grateful. Grace is extended to all, but salvation comes by faith. A simple concept, but many miss the big picture.
Let’s look at the next section of the verse, ‘And that not of yourselves’. What is not of ourselves? Grace? If it refers to grace, then the Lord has wasted words unnecessarily. Of course we can’t extend grace to ourselves! It is not only impossible, such an extension of grace would be meaningless. We haven’t the authority to save ourselves.
Read the verse again. “For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.” Since we already KNOW that grace ‘is not of ourselves’ that only leaves one other element that can be the ‘gift of God’ and that is saving faith.
So the Scriptures say that even the faith that saves us is a gift from God, and not something we conjure up as a result of our own works, ‘lest anyone should boast.’ This verse is the great equalizer of Christians.
“No one can come to Me unless the Father who has sent Me draw him, and I will raise him up at the last day.” (John 6:44)
We all come to the Cross the same way; recipients of God’s extension of grace, which we receive by a faith which is God-given. None of us has any reason to feel superior. If we are saved, it is because we were drawn of the Father to the Son.
“It is written in the Prophets, “And they shall all be taught of God.” Therefore everyone who hears and learns from the Father comes to Me.” (John 6:45) Allow that to sink in.
“So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.” (Matthew 20:16)
And again; “For many are called, but few chosen.” (Matthew 22:14)
And again; “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” (John 15:16)
“Among whom are ye also the CALLED of Jesus Christ:” (Romans 1:6)
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the CALLED according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
The goodness of God in converting and saving sinners encourages others to hope in His grace and mercy. Our faith, our conversion, and our eternal salvation, are not of works, lest any man should boast. These things are not brought to pass by any thing done by us, therefore all boasting is shut out.
It is the free gift of God, and the effect of being quickened by His power. It was His purpose, to which he prepared us, by blessing us with the knowledge of His will, and His Holy Spirit producing such a change in us, that we should glorify God by our perseverance to holiness.
‘Holiness’ (Gk hagiasmos) means ‘purification’ which is a PROCESS, also accomplished by God through Jesus.
“Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath BEGUN a good work in you will PERFORM it UNTIL the day of Jesus Christ:” (Phillipians 1:6)
There are no Christians more deserving than others. Because you have not yet achieved the state of holiness others have does not mean you are less favored. We all come to the Cross equally lost, and we all came away equally saved.
Salvation is an eternal state for which each of us were chosen before the world began.
“Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,” Paul writes to Timothy, (2 Timothy 1:9)
“In hope of eternal life, which God, that CANNOT LIE, PROMISED before the world began. . .” (Titus 1:2)
We are eternally secure, because we are eternally saved, which was accomplished in the Mind of God when each of us was called — BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN!
Let’s bring it together. Nobody can come to Christ unless they are drawn by the Father, who provides us with both the extension of the offer of salvation and the faith necessary to receive it, a calling that was sealed in heaven before the world began, according to His purpose and grace.
Our salvation is immediate and eternal, but our purification is a process, which, having been begun in us at the moment of salvation, will be perform in us BY CHRIST until the day we stand before Him. Lest anyone should boast.
“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.” (Romans 3:10-12)
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:” (Romans 3:23-24)
“I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.” (Galatians 2:21)
Legalism runs counter to the clear teaching of Scripture. This is a very difficult doctrine to both teach and understand. It sounds like a license to sin. It is not.
It is an understanding that our relationship to Christ is unique — that God knows our hearts, and has already judged us accordingly. So that sin cannot reign supreme in our mortal body and thereby render us useless to our calling.
The most effective weapon we have in our war with the enemy is the knowledge that he cannot take away our salvation. There is never a time when we are unworthy to tell others of Jesus Christ.
Paul tells us, “Finally, my brethren, be strong IN THE LORD, and in the power of HIS might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” (Ephesians 6:11-12)
Paul says we put on the ‘armor of God’ in a specific order. The certainty of the truth of Scripture, the breastplace of righteousness (imputed by Christ) the knowledge of the Gospel and the shield of faith. Our heads are protected by the ‘helmet of salvation’ – the certainty of our eternal salvation. These are all DEFENSIVE weapons.
Having secured our defense, we then take up our only offensive weapon, the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.
If the enemy can convince us of our own personal unrighteousness (of which each of us is acutely aware) or cause us to doubt the truth of Scripture or of our faith (which is a gift from God, lest anyone should boast) or cause us to doubt our own salvation, then we will not be able to effectively wield the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.
God chose each of us, and His plan is to use us to seek out those similarly chosen and introduce them to their Savior. That is our assignment on this earth. THAT is our ‘calling.’ To spread the Gospel.
That isn’t Calvinism — Calvinism teaches that because the Church was predestinated, we are under no obligation to lead people to Christ — God has already chosen them so He’ll sort it out.
There is a joke about the Calvinist who fell down the stairs, and remarked, “Thank God that’s over.”
Instead, the Scriptures teach that God foreknew who would be saved, therefore it is predestined. But God also knew who He selected to carry the Word to that person. And the enemy will work overtime to thwart God’s will by convincing us we are not worthy to carry it.
As Christians, we have an awesome responsibility before God. We have been assigned to seek out the lost and offer them the Gospel. To accomplish our mission, we need to be fully equipped for the task.
That is what eternal security is all about. Not a license to sin, but rather a certain knowledge that our sin is forgiven.
Jesus said of His sheep (the Church) “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”
“Give” (Gk did?mi) means ‘to bestow’. It is a present-tense verb. The Scripture does NOT say, “I WILL give them eternal life,” it says it has already been bestowed upon us.
Jesus said that no man can pluck His sheep from His Hand. I am a man. If I can sin my way out of His gift of eternal life, it is neither eternal, nor is it a gift. It then becomes wages, dependent upon my works.
But the Scriptures say; “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
And since I, a man, can, by my works, undo His Word, it means His Word is not true.
Our works are the ‘fruits’ of our labor for Christ. Our labor is to lead others to Christ.
“According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.” (1 Corinthians 3:10)
Our foundation is our salvation, but our obligation is to build upon that foundation by leading others to the Cornerstone of Life. But our individual salvation is already an accomplished fact.
When we stand before the Bema Seat of Christ, “Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but HE HIMSELF SHALL BE SAVED; yet so as by fire.” (1 Corinthians 3:13-15)
Don’t let the enemy render you powerless. You ARE worthy, not because you are you, but because of Him Who made you worthy according to His will and by His own Hand.

  14. Brother Chambers,
Last week I heard a brother ask this question — “Do you know how you can know a wolf? By its diet. A wolf eats sheep.” He then went on to explain how pulpits in our land are filled with hirelings who will not preach against sin, who coddle people who are unrepentant and not striving to live holy before the Lord. Not everyone who says “I am righteous through the blood of Jesus” is righteous. But it is those who live righteous lives who prove they are indeed possessors of the power of God today that they claim brought them to be “born again” yesterday or yesteryear. This brother then went on to say that what is happening in our churches today is that God’s true sheep are not hearing His Voice through those who claim to be His shepherds. So, in obedience to the word of God to depart from every unclean spirit that comes in Jesus’ Name but teaches disobedience to the truth of separation from the world, the fear of the Lord, the necessity of remaining true to the narrow way of total surrender and faith in the grace of God that enables us to deny ungodliness and worldliness and live lives that reflect the holiness of our Great God and Savior Jesus Christ — the sheep have left and are leaving these churches, so that all that remains are the goats. And it is this peculiar hastening work that is preparing the apostate church to bow to the spirit of antichrist and ride with the Beast. Truly, men of God such as yourself are few and far between in our day. And you will NEVER regret crying out as you do and pleading as you do and taking the narrow stand upon the razor-edge of the sword of the Spirit. I understand what Sandra was resisting and questioning, but I think it is because of a lack of full understanding about what the “once saved always saved” preachers are really saying. If you ever want to get a clear picture of this strong delusion, Tony Evans book on Restoring Your First Love is one of the clearest works of darkness that I’ve ever seen. In this book he tells Christians that if they are in Christ Jesus, that God doesn’t see their sins any more. So, if they are still experiencing homosexual tendencies, it’s not something to be worried about. God sees you “in Christ” not still in your sin. This is only one example of the perversions that men and women who love their sins more than Jesus Christ, who aren’t striving to repent and be found in Christ blameless, holy as He is holy because they are keeping themselves unspotted from this world, because they are guarding against sin and know the damnable power the least sin indulged in and unrepented of can exercise over any of us, to pull us back into the snare and overtake us and dull us of hearing. I guarantee you that not one single professing child of God who is not seriously dealing with sin and who is not grieved over and hating their sins and crying out to God for deliverance — not one single one of these possesses the hope of the rapture (which could occur before I finish writing out my heart hear). Here is just one example of what I see it means to make provision for the lusts to fulfill them. There is a difference between falling into a sin, such as occasionally getting angry and saying something to the slowpoke driver in front of you who is driving 20 miles under the speed limit. You might hear yourself groaning and complaining, and then instantly asking God to forgive you for your complaining and to enable you to partake of His grace and the fruit of the Spirit’s patience. That is a common to us all temptation, especially in this rush-rush-rush pace of the world today. But that is a totally different action than making provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts. I’ll use the example of smoking cigarettes, since I was delivered from this fleshly lusts (PRAISE GOD). True born-again Christians who are coddling themselves in partaking in this “little sin,” these really don’t see this like our God sees it. They are not purifying themselves as He is pure but instead making provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts. They still run out to the store and purchase that pack of cigarettes and then pull the cigarette out of the pack and put it to their mouths and light it up and inhale its soothing smoke. This is making provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts. The spirit of God doesn’t want that substance put in His temple (our bodies). But the flesh lusts for it. And think clearly of all the steps that have to be completed before that first draw is made upon that stick. Think clearly of all the steps along the way that God would have aided them to cry out to Him for His help to keep them from falling into this temptation. If they truly loved God more than their fleshly lust, they would do anything and everything that the Word of God declares available to be kept from falling into this sinful habit. They would find the power of God available to enable them to crucify the flesh with its affections and its lusts — which every single one of us will continue to do until Jesus’ comes. And, I venture to say, it is ONLY these who have recognized that as long as I dwell in this body, I am tempted daily to sin in some way. But being tempted to sin is not the same as choosing to sin. Gal. 5:24 declares plainly: “They who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its affections and its lusts.” Unless we who profess to be born again Christians, unless we are daily taking our our individual crosses and dying to self, dying to partaking in the sins of the flesh — where is the proof in our lives that we truly belong to Christ Jesus? It is because there are multitudes in our churches today who come to hear the words of the Lord, who hear them but who refuse to do them — these will suffer the judgment of God to a greater degree than those who hear but refuse to do. And, sadly, sadly, SADLY enough today, most do not come to their “worship” services to worship the Living God through the sacrifices of praise that is acceptable to God. They refuse to sacrifice their worldly rock-concert mantras and chants. But instead, they get pumped up in the flesh and feel good about the music and the crowd around them, and then not one single word of rebuke or exhortation about the open sinful practices of the flesh in which they indulge — not to mention the hidden practices of lustful thoughts, lustful eyes, watching of porn and the just plain evil and wicked, godless entertainments that come across their television screens. Their consciences are seared and they are not repenting now because no one is saying it clearly enough from the pulpits they sit before weekly. So few are crying out to show the church her sins. And this is what Isaiah 29 clearly says to us in this nation: “Because this people draw nigh to me with their mouths and yet their hearts are far from me and their fear of me is taught after the commandments of men… behold, I shall proceed to do a marvelous work amongst THIS people, a marvel and a wonder.” God clearly says that the sins of our nation are because of the unchecked, unrestrained, unrepentant sins in those who profess to know Him but in works deny Him. The sinners in this world who never attend church and have absolutely no interest in being in a “House of God,” it is not these who are speaking His name and talking about the love of God. God is allowing what He is allowing in THIS NATION because of the sins of His people. 2 Chro. 7:14 declares that it is because God’s people — those who truly belong to Him — because they are not humbling themselves and praying, because they are not repenting of their own sins, that their land is broken, sick, putrid. Judgment begins at the House of God. The church of God today is seeing the fruit of this judgment that has been poured out as Isaiah 29 declares — those in the pulpits no longer have any spiritual discernment. God has poured upon them the spirit of slumber and they cannot read the word of God with any understanding. And, the people in the pulpits believe that they cannot possibly read the word of God and get any understanding without the preacher/teacher/prophet/apostle telling them what it says and what to believe and how to live in order to be successful, prosperous, have God “bless” their lives. I never planned on going on and on and on, but I believe what we are experiencing more and more and more in our lives is what Joel 2 said would happen in the days in which we live. God is pouring out His Spirit on His sons and daughters and they are prophesying — simply speaking the Words of God that God wrote and that have never changed and that shall be fulfilled. If there was EVER a time to WAKE UP, and STAY AWAKE – being watchful and guarding our eyes, our ears, our minds, our hands, every single aspect of our lives as we go out and in, it is today. And it is as God said it would be — instead of hearing and receiving with meekness the Words of the Lord as spoken by His servants, many instead reject the counsel because it didn’t seem right to them, or it didn’t feel right, or it may even have hurt their feelings. And they love their feelings more than they love God. They love fleshly pleasures more than they love God. If Amos’ words were ever spoken over a generation, it is the generation in which we have been chosen to live. “Behold the days come, saith the Lord God, when I will send a famine in the land. Not a famine of bread nor a thirst for water, but of HEARING the Words of the Lord. And they shall wander from sea to sea, from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it.” Just think how many so-called moves of the Spirit have caused God’s people to run to and fro to get a “word from God” or to be “touched by God,” or to “fall under the power of God.” This has been going on in increased measure since the Rodney Howard Browne delusion to the Toronto laughing spirit delusion — these were just the beginnings. Then it went to Brownsville, FL and the false apostolic move of Kansas City, and then the Todd Bentley move in Pensacola, FL. I don’t like to mention names, but I am becoming more fully convinced than ever before that we MUST speak out and mark those who cause divisions in the church from truth, who pervert the doctrines of Christ and who are even leading people into the sin of blaspheming the Holy Spirit. For surely to call what is clearly of the devil in manifestation, to say that this is “Holy Spirit” — is not this blaspheming the Holy Ghost? I’ve come to the end of my well … I just cannot say how much I appreciate all men and women of God, all who prove they are indeed His obedient children — I cannot thank God enough for all that has been added to my life by these who have remained true to God’s truths and who are not afraid to clearly sound the trumpet in these days. For soon, the trumpet of God shall sound and Jesus shall descend with a shout and we who remain alive in the earth and are looking for His coming for us and who are ready and whose lamps are burning brightly, we shall be caught up to meet our Lord Jesus in the air and we shall forever then be with the Lord. No fleshly pleasure is worth a single fulfillment because if we are sowing to the flesh when the Lord comes for His Bride, not one single one of us who professes to be looking for His coming but who is living a lie because we are not preparing ourselves as a Bride — not one single one of these will be counted worthy to escape all that is coming upon this earth. These will have to be martyred in order to join the rest of the saints in heaven. When the Apostle John asked the angel who this great multitude that he observed, who these were, the angel told John:
“These are they who came out of great tribulation….” Rev. 7:14 — To those believers who question why Brother Chambers is making such a point and speaking in the way that God leads him to do — one day you will understand should you be left behind. God FORBID! GOD FORBID! This is why dear men of God such as Joseph Chambers will not be quiet, will not water it down, will not change the tone of the words of God. For Proverbs 31 cries out to us to give strong drink to those who are ready to perish. And truly, there are many perishing saints now in this earth — and if these are not awakened to cry out from their hearts for whatever help they need to put off all the old man and put on the New Man, Jesus Christ — these will not be ready for the hour that is so soon to come. And I would hate to have had the opportunity to declare the pure, unadulterated word of God to one of these and to have even seemed to have come short of it. The devil is convinced that if he can just have seven years to really beat up on the Christians who are left behind, he will succeed in getting them to renounce “their faith” and take his mark. And then, there is no more salvation. Then, they shall join the ranks of the damned and suffer more of his tortures for eternity than others. For he knows the word of God that those who heard and knew the will of God but who refused to do it, these will suffer more torment in hell for eternity than those who had never heard. It is truly better to have never heard what the Lord required of us than to have heard and not do it. God, please continue to pour out your grace to repent upon all who hear your servants in this hour and enable them to confess and forsake every sin that would separate them from You and keep them from having robes washed in the blood of the Lamb and their wedding garments on and kept white for The Lamb, for our coming Groom, for our King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Oh, come quickly, Lord Jesus. Hasten your work of deliverance that You came and fulfill your promise: “The Lord shall deliver us from every evil work and shall preserve us unto His heavenly Kingdom. To Him be glory, forever and ever — for ever and ever. In Jesus’ Most Holy and Precious and Mighty Name — Karen

  15. Brother Chambers, you really stirred the pot with this one. lol. GREAT ARTICLE!! People have to remember, as for the doctrines they believe….we will be judged for what we believe. For the people whom are OSAS, no not everyone who believes that use it as a license to sin, however I personally believe it allows for no fear of God and there is a spirit behind every doctrine, either its the Spirit of God or spirit of antichrist, osas is a lie! So yes, I agree strongly!!!! EVERYONE, MAKE SURE YOUR FULL OF THE HOLY GHOST OIL THE RAPTURE IS AT THE DOOR!! CHAMBERS IS 100%%%%% RIGHT, NOT ONE TIME HAS HE BEEN WRONG!!

  16. I’m not so sure that “He that letteth” is the Holy Spirit in the Church. I used to believe that but I’m not so sure now… I think that it is Gabriel or probably Michael that is holding back…

Regarding Michael, in Daniel 10:14, Gabriel has come to tell Daniel about the latter days. In verse 13, Gabriel explains that he was held up for 21 days by the demon called the Prince of Persia, but that Michael came to help him. In verse 20, Gabriel tells Daniel he is now going back to fight with this demon and the Prince of Grecia. So we see Gabriel has charge over certain areas in the demonic world, as does Michael, who is referred to as “Michael your prince”.

  17. I believe in the possibility of getting saved after the rapture of the church otherwise… what would be the point of all the warnings not to take the Mark of the Beast? If they were completely hopeless then why care? I know that some think that the warnings are for just the Jews but not so… the Angel flies over the whole world declaring the warning the two witnesses message will be telecast throught the whole world as well.

  18. Dawn and all our reader
Absolutely millions will get saved after the Rapture. That
was a smoke screen to confuse the Truth of this article.
No where did I suggest that people could not be converted
after the Saints are out. This artice is about those that cannot
repent, not about those that can repent.

  19. Brother Jim, You said what I believe. I believe in “ETERNAL SECURITY”, but I do not believe in “ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED”. A person truly BORN AGAIN has got to bulldog themself to leave the GRACE of God.
    Joseph Chambers, EDITOR

    Dear pastor Chambers,
I am in agreement with what you write with the exception of you declaring that “once saved always saved” is a false doctrine. I could give you many Scriptures that support the position as well as many that don’t. However, after struggling with this doctrine years ago I find that “eternal security” is true. Of course as you point out, one needs to examine their lives to be sure that they are saved. It is irresponsible for one to say, I’m saved therefore I can live as I please. This would indicate that the person was never genuinely saved. The compelling verse for me is in John 3:3 where Jesus tells Nicodemus: “….Most assuredly, I say to you unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Verse 6 says, “That which is born of flesh is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit.” The use of both physical birth and spiritual birth establishes the point that what has been done can’t be undone. One who is born physically can’t be UNBORN nor in this context can one who is genuinely born spiritually be unborn spiritually. The operative word is, “genuinely.” I agree there are many professing to be true Christians that are probably not.

The last thing I want to say is that the doctrine of eternal security or non-eternal security is not essential doctrine. As you know one may hold to either position and be a genuine Christian. Your labeling eternal security as a false doctrine is incorrect. It is one that Christians can hold to either position and not have their position considered a false doctrine. This is certainly not something to divide over.

With that said, I do appreciate your insight into the Word and your tireless efforts to share it with all of us.
    God Bless You!

  20. Truly, we are saved by grace alone, not of works lest any of us should even think to boast. But what is true salvation grace? Titus 2:11-15

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. 15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

If the grace of God we have received is giving any of us liberty and license to deal softly with the practice of sins in our lives, we are in the hour of being awakened to the seriousness of procrastinating in putting off every sin, laying aside every weight that is hindering us from filling our hearts with the Word of God and seeking to bring the truth to the lost — hating even the garments spotted by the flesh.

This is what I am hearing as His disciple — Years ago I cried out with all my heart and asked God to show me whatever sin(s) I needed to repent of and enable me to repent. Twenty years past the day I cried out for this, I still have it clearly in my mind. I cried “Just show me what you require of me so that I don’t have to go through the tribulation but will be raptured.” I see the work of the Holy Spirit now in my own life to rid me of sins that I have been coddling. I fell back into taking a glass of wine a few years back at the suggestion of another saint. “A little wine is good for the stomach.” The saint even used Scripture. Maybe someone else could drink a glass of wine and it not stumble and ensnare them. But I went from one glass to two to three so I could feel the “relief.” It took me a real fight to put that “escape” behind me. Then God started dealing with me this past January about how easy I found it to spend time entertaining myself, even using good Christian entertainment. But I wasn’t really hungering and thirsting for God as I had been in February and March. Two weeks ago I again cried out to Him with all my heart to just take the desire for entertainment out of me! God answered that cry and gave me the understanding that the prodigal had and the woman who was caught in adultery had. I had been caught in spiritual adultery by the Holy Spirit who was jealous for me. I was giving myself to the things of this world and enjoying more time in those things than I was in drawing close to God. It seemed that for a couple of years God was saying to me, “Don’t turn the TV on. Don’t sit down in the chair in that room. No matter if anyone else entices you — for YOU — go your way away from it and sin no more.” God has delivered me fully and where I once had a temptation to do these things, I now have absolutely NO desire for them and instead, I find a hatred in my heart. It is not hard to turn away from something you hate.

What I believe is happening in the lives of God’s saints is this — those who have this hope in themselves and have desire to receive every single promise of God that our Lord Jesus suffered and died to obtain for us, we have been awakened to the closeness of the hour once again. If I had had this peculiar awakened work of God in my heart all along, I would not have fallen into the dullness and backslidden into complacency and worldliness as I did. But God is calling out NOW — TODAY — REPENT and I will receive you. Come back to me and I will show you just how good I am, and just how much I love you. I will receive you, I will reclothe you and I will restore you to your place of authority in prayer (the ring of the finger). And this is what I’ve experienced and am willing to share with every single brother and sister. God will receive you when you repent and mean business.

You will be ready for the rapture and you will be watchful. This is the work of the Spirit in this hour. May each and every one of God’s children hear and heed. I know all will not but I am willing that all would! How much more is God’s heart towards us and He is able to give us the grace that will enable us to repent and NEVER go back. Seek the Lord while He is near and call upon Him and He will answer. Let the wicked forsake his own ways and the unrighteous their own thoughts — and let them return unto the Lord — and He will abundantly pardon. Oh taste and see just how good the Lord is.
