LET THE CHURCH BE THE CHURCH
THERE IS NO ESTABLISHED ENTITY ON THIS EARTH THAT COMPARES TO THE CHURCH. The Lord Jesus Christ set the church in authority to be His power in the world. From Pentecost until this very day the true church has set the standard. The powers of the world hates the church because they are either blessed or condemned by what is happening in the House of God. The wicked world will do everything in it’s power to destroy a Bible believing church.
We happen to live in a period when the world has been able to render the church a sad spectacle. Ministers are mostly compromising and soft and are doing the devil’s business. These ministers love to have the world’s praise and they will do almost anything when the big brass around them is complementing their fancy buildings and pretty speech. It is so easy to fall into this trap.
Satan’s crowd has some smart dudes among them. Daniel had lived in Babylon almost all his life and had learned the tricks of the wicked. He said, “And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. (Daniel 11:32) Notice that exceptional promise to those that learn the price and triumph of obedience. Men and women of God will not be influenced by the wicked and they do not have a price. You cannot buy a man or woman of God.
The devil found himself a prize when he located Saul of Tarsus. This lofty, learned Jew was ready to destroy the Lord’s church. His leadership was strong. “And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles. And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him. As for Saul, he made havoc of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.” (Acts 8:1-3) Saul was extremely effective and he forced the church to spread out from Jerusalem. He was determined to stop this great force for God’s business.
It was not long until the church was making such headway in Damascus, a foreign city a considerable distance to the north. So Saul headed up the turnpike to Syria to continue his attack, but God was way ahead of Saul and had his angels dug in on the outskirts of the city. That’s where Saul was arrested by the Lord and was soon named Paul the Apostle. “And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.” (Acts 9:3-6) We need some people like Paul today.
The church is invincible when it is unafraid and totally Biblical. The true church does not care what the world thinks. If the world loves your church it certainly isn’t His church because His church is directly different than the world’s church. “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16:18-19) Whatever we bind in the heavens (high places of the devil’s kingdom) is bound and defeated. That’s the old fashioned kind of praying that is mostly a lost warfare. God has some saints learning this Biblical kind of praying of binding and loosing. Watch out devil, here they come!
Very soon that church is going to be gone and the Antichrist will slay a multitude that repent after the rapture. The glorious church is headed to the sky, “That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” (Ephesians 5:26-27) Until then the pilgrim church is invincible. The world’s hatred is growing, but the crowd of saints that cannot be bought will keep on affecting the world for our Lord Jesus Christ.

As soon as the Church gave in to the culture we have seen one depredation after another visit the US and Europe. These days the real Church will be found among the singlehearted Christian martyrs in Africa who are daily being slaughtered by Moslems in Sudan and Nigeria.
Pray for these martyrs who refuse to save their lives if it means spitting on Christ.

Back in old days, the Church stood strong. But today our churches are WEAK AND DIVIDED. Even Southern Baptists one of the conservative denomination is divided> When my Dad taught a Sunday school lesson, he talked about how OBAMA-CARE WAS DESTRUCTIVE toward our freedom, and that it would RAISE TAXES hurting small businesses, forcing LAYOFFS OF WORKERS. Some folks in his audience when they heard that, they said “THAT IS TOO POLITICAL!” It was the Liberals that complained. They were OBAMA SUPPORTERS. Did you know that Southern Baptists have more than 1’000’000 Masons. To take STRONG STANDS ON MORAL ISSUES in churches is sure to BE DIVISIVE. Moral issues were not POLITICAL, until the LIBERALS MADE THEM “POLITICAL”. It was the Liberals that made SPEAKING AGAINST HOMOSEXUALITY is a political issue. Churches will BREAK-UP over the Liberals turning MORAL ISSUES into POLITICAL ISSUES. 60 years ago everyone knew what was right and what was wrong. It was not questioned. HOMOSEXUALITY, PORN, ABORTION, AND SEX OUTSIDE OF MARRIAGE WERE ILLEGAL. Now churches will SPLIT UP over this. When you make STRONG STANDS ON MORAL ISSUES, the LIBERALS will accuse you of being TOO POLITICAL. The will even accuse you of VIOLATING THE “SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE”, and will try to get the IRS to take away your TAX EXEMPTION. Most of the once “PROTESTANT” churches, are now PROSTITUTE CHURCHES to join the GREAT HARLOT. Most big churches are CORRUPT LAODICEAN PORK-BARREL ENTITLEMENT PROSPERITY GOSPEL PREACHING CHURCHES. This is how Obama won the Election. Most true PHILADELPHIA CHURCHES are small independent isolated churches. These might be small country churches. It is very rare for a PHILADELPHIA CHURCH to be a big one.

This was an excellent commentary. The True Church is beyond denomination – it is comprised of every true believer no matter what church they attend – if any.
I also found Keith Black’s reference to the Protestant Church as the “Prostitute Church” absolutely dead-on correct. Well said, because that is exactly what most of those denominations now are.
And if you don’t play their twisted game, you are OUT!
For example, in the Episcopal Church, so-called presiding bishop Katharine Schori and her legal pitbulls will see to it that you lose your property and finances if you don’t roll over for the lying doctrines it now espouses which include “mother Jesus,” ordination of active homosexuals, and, in its latest affront to God, the blessing of homosexual unions.
“Woe unto them who call evil good, and good evil. . . ”
That what Isaiah said (Isaiah 5:20) and it looks like humanity hasn’t learned much in 2700 years.
Well, what passes for the church today say can’t say it wasn’t warned.
But there is the faithful remnant that is still listening – and that is the True Church which will never be defeated.
