JOHN THE REVELATOR SAW THE LAST SEVEN YEARS OF DANIEL’S SEVENTY WEEKS OF YEARS (Part 3)
THE LAST WEEK: SEVEN YEARS AND THE DECEIVER’S COVENANT
It is beautiful to see how clearly this last week of years is separated from the first 69. The words of the previous verse (26) plainly predict the Roman destruction 38-39 years after the conclusion of that first period. The statement, a “flood,” was used symbolically of sorrows and consternation and the words, “wars and desolations are determined,” show that a considerable time was clearly the focus.
As this verse is seen in its future fulfillment, the prince from the previous verse (“Prince that should come”) will be on the scene. He will have already established himself as the false “Messiah” and made a covenant with the Jewish nation. He is in the driver’s seat and is apparently performing the Jewish expectation for the true Messiah. I believe this prince may give tremendous aid to Israel in the defeat of the Russian horde, along with her allies. Whatever is left of the Northern Confederation will probably transfer their allegiance to the prince whom we recognize as the Antichrist. John states that he arises out of the sea, which prophetically represents a Middle Eastern personality, an Assyrian as mentioned above and, likely, an Assyrian Jew.
Whoever this incredible personality is, his love affair with the Jewish nation will be short‑lived. Within three and one-half years his powers will be consolidated. The One World religious coalition will decide it is time to end the separatist idea of the Orthodox Jewish worship. The Antichrist/Messiah must be worshipped and Jewish sacrifices are cancelled. The false prophet (the false anointing is already spreading the word) will have the image of the “World Messiah” placed on the altar in the temple. The Jewish nation will suddenly reel in utter dismay. They have been deceived; he is not a Messiah, he is an imposter. All hell is unleashed on the Jewish people; anti-Semitism reaches a new level.
Jacob’s Trouble
Words do not describe the horror for the Jews during the last 42 months. The only bright side of this period is the hope that begins to dawn for their souls. While two-thirds of all Israel shall die, the one-third left shall be turned to the Lord. Zechariah told of this slaughter, “And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.” (Zechariah 13:8-9)
In the two verses below, Zechariah declared that the Jewish nation would finally recognize the true Messiah as Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. These two statements are breathtaking. “And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.” (Zechariah 12:10)
In the original Textus Receptus Hebrew there are two Hebrew characters that were never translated to English. These two characters follow the word “me” or “upon me”. They are the aleph and the tau, or the first and last characters in the Hebrew alphabet. It would read “and they shall look up me (the aleph and the tau, or the beginning and ending) whom they have pierced.” This was not a faulty translation, but rather a case where the Holy Ghost placed these two letters in the margin to be understood on that glorious day when Israel turns to the Lord.
The other verse states, “And one shall say unto him, what are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.” (Zechariah 13:6) To assist this great spiritual awakening, the Lord Jesus seals 144,000 Jews in the first half of this week of years. “Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel” (Revelation 7:3-4).
Israel’s greatest hour begins to dawn during the last 42 months. Out of their darkest hour and by great tribulation, an indestructible nation of people humbles themselves. They finally accept that indeed Jesus Christ was their Messiah and they shall mourn for Him “as one mourneth for His only son.” What an incredible awakening! Apostle Paul prophesied this profoundly. “For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in. and so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.” (Romans 11:25-27)
The Seven Years: Jews, Gentiles and the Church
I am giving you this picture of the last week of years only from the Jewish perspective. It actually has three parts. The apostate church led by the false prophet, along with the tribulation saints, etc., is a story in itself. The judgment of the ungodly and the Antichrist crowd presents a different and equally intriguing picture. All three stories, of course, occur simultaneously. Please remember, God always deals with the Jews, the unbelieving Gentiles, and the church of God, each individually. As you study end time events always watch and do not confuse God’s dispensational program for each of them.
The Book of Daniel
It adds tremendous power to the book of Daniel when you understand how many enemies this book has endured. It was translated to Greek (285-270 B.C.) long before the major fulfillment of the 70 weeks. Also, the discovery of the entire book in the caves of Qumran serves to authenticate its author, Daniel, and the book itself. Randall Price, who has done a thorough book on this subject, personally answered a question for me at our Pre‑Tribulation Study Conference concerning the Qumran manuscripts. My question was, “Which text does the Qumran manuscript support, the Alexandrian or the Textus Receptus?” His answer was, as I had supposed, “The Textus Receptus.”
Conclusion
This prophecy will be fulfilled perfectly. The stage is being set. At times certain events seem to slow the process. The numerous interruptions or shattering events does not take the Lord God by surprise. We are like a grand auditorium of a multiplied host watching the performance on stage. The Lord God, our director, has given us a prophetic foretaste to whet our appetites. Keep your heart tuned, your loins girded with truth and your lights burning. The only event that restrains the Antichrist is “only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.” (2 Thessalonians 2:7) The Bride of Jesus Christ will be out of here shortly.

ANTI-CHRIST COVENANT WITH ISRAEL

You said that the Anti-Christ might be an Assyrian Jew
With the Mid-East being more and more RADICALIZED BY ISLAMIC TAKEOVERS AS DICTATORS FALL, MORE AND MORE ASSYRIANS AND CHALDEANS ARE BEING FORCED TO FLEE MIDEASTERN COUNTRIES. Most of these people are of Catholic denominations such as Roman (Vatican), Greek Orthodox, and other Catholic religions. They are fleeing form Iraq now because the Muslims are persecuting them. Those in Syrian will also have to flee when the MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD TAKES OVER AFTER THE FALL OF THAT DICTATOR.
I guess the ASSYRIAN JEWS WOULD GO TO ISRAEL. Some Assyrians are now living in Israel. If the Anti-Christ is an ASSYRIAN JEW, maybe he might even become PRIME MINISTER OF ISRAEL. Then when He negotiates that 7 year treaty, he will PROBABLY TRY TO GET THE BEST DEAL HE CAN GET FOR HIS PEOPLE. HE WOULD INSIST THAT HIS PEOPLE BE GIVEN THE TEMPLE MOUNT TO GET THE TEMPLE BUILT. If the Anti-Christ is an Israeli it would be MUCH EASIER TO FOOL THE JEWS ITO THINKING THAT HE IS THE MESSIAH. IF HE IS IN THE HOUSE OF DAVID, HE CAN PRESENT IT AS FARTHER “PROOF”. If a Israeli Anti-Christ wants to rule the World, HE WOULD HAVE TO JOIN HIS OWN NATION OF ISRAEL TO THE EUROPEAN UNION AS A MEMBER STATE. Then once Israel becomes part of Europe, the Anti-Christ can rule the world. But right in THE CENTER OF THE TRIBULATION, THE ANTI-CHRIST BECOMES LIKE JUDAS AND BETRAYS HIS OWN PEOPLE. Then the Jews realize that their own “MESIAH” (the false one) has betrayed them. They now must flee from their own leader.
It is unlikely that the JEWS WOULD EVER ACCEPT A MUSLIM AS THEIR MESSIAH, BECAUSE THEY CONSIDER THE MUSLIMS TO BE THEIR WORST ENEMIES.
When it comes time for the Jews to flee, they head south to SOUTHERN JORDAN. Some of them may go to PETRA. Petra has a lot of HOLLOWED OUT CAVES, AND LOTS OF HIDING PLACES IN THOSE CAVES. There may be some caves with STONE ROLL DOORS like the tomb of Jesus had, EXCEPT THE STONE ROLL DOORS WOULD BE ROLLED ON A TRACK FROM THE INSIDE. THAT WILL HELP KEEP ENEMIES OUT. There may also be STAIRWAYS OR LADDER HOLES TO LOWER CHAMBERS OF WHICH A STONE SLAB FITS OVER THE HOLE. GET ALL YOUR PEOPLE INSIDE AND CLOSE THE SLAB DOOR. THEN IF ENEMY SOLDIERS GET INTO YOUR CAVE THEY MIGHT NOT FIND YOUR PEOPLE HIDING BELOW THE SLAB. Another way is a VERTICLE STONE SLAB WITH HA CHAIN OR A HANDLE ON THE BACKSIDE (TO PULL IT IN) OF IT WHICH CAN BE USED TO COVER OVER A DOORWAY. People can even STACK STONES ACCROSS AND ENTRANCE TO AN INNER CHAMBER FROM INSIDE, SO ENEMY TROOPS MIGHT NOT KNOW THAT YOUR PEOPLE ARE HIDING BEHIND IT. PETRA IS LIKE THE CATACOMBS OF ROME. It is not a good idea for people to use the Catacombs in Rome, because ROME (BABYLON) will be BURNED WITH FIRE. Here is what is probably meant in ISAIAH 26:20 “COME MY PEOPLE (JEWS), ENTER THOU INTO THY CHAMBERS (PETRA?), AND SHUT THY (STONE) DOORS ABOUT THEE; HID THYSELF AS IT WERE FOR A LITTLE MOMENT, UNTIL THE INDIGNATION BE OVERPAST.”
When the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION HAPPENS IN ISRAEL, NOT ONLY WILL THE JEWS HAVE TO FLEE FROM THE PERSECUTION OF THE ANTI-CHRIST. GENTILE TRIBULATION SAINTS ALSO WIL HAVE TO FLEE. Since it is not practical for Americans to get to Petra, AMERICANS IN EASTERN USA SHOULD FLEE TO THE APPALACHIAN MOUNTAINS. THE BIGGEST CONCENTRATION OF CAVES IS WHERE GEORGIA, ALABAMA, AND TENNESSEE COME TOGETHER. There are lots of caves in the APPALACHIAN PLATEAU. Caves exist only where there is limestone. You will not find them in granite. Kentucky has caves too. FOR MIDWEST FOLKS GO TO THE OZARK MOUNTAINS OF TO THE BLACK HILLS. FOLKS IN WESTERN STATES GO TO THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS. If you cannot find caves in your area GO TO THE ABANDONED MINES SUCH AS OLD COAL MINES OR GOLD MINES. THESE MAN MADE CAVES CAN BE USED TOO.
When Jesus comes at end of Tribulation, the JEWS CAN FINALLY POP OPEN THEIR STONE DOORS AT PETRA AND COME OUT.

The only cave pretyped in scripture is the cave to which Elijah ran while under the influence of Jezebel. Remember that God asked Elijah, “What are doing here?”
Are you telling me that the redeemed blood bought overcomers will need to find a cave? What are you doing in a cave?
This whole eschatology concept is beyond error. Jesus prayed against escapism when he prayed, “Father take them not out of the world but keep them from the evil one.” Jesus saaid, “Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
It is sad that teachings like these are a slap in the face to the work of the cross and resurrection. These teachings trample under foot the Son of God.
Awake sleeping church and take your righteous authority in the earth!
By the way…Jesus came out of his cave 2000 years ago.

There are many reasons to give supporting the removal of the present church (defined as being composed of true believers) and Pastor Joseph and other contributers have provided convincing evidence that this scenario is more likely than not.
But maybe one way to look as the matter is to ask oneself: What is the purpose of the Tribulation in the first place?
I think there are actually many reasons. Part of it is to get Israel to a place where it finally discovers that Jesus really is whom he claimed to be so God can at last fulfill the promises he made to it thousands of yeears ago. Another part is get those “casual Christians” who have been on the fence or those people deliberately dismissve of Jesus to finally wise up. Yet another component is to start showing whoever is left down here who the “BOSS” really is.
Of course, many will willingly give their allegiance (and souls) to the Antichrist.
Now let’s look at what I’m calling the Remnant Church, those who in this time have not bought into the false doctrine being peddled by the cultists, humanists, atheists, society in general, and, yes, perhaps the biggest offender of all, most of “organized religion.”
Does this Remnant need harsh judgments to come to believe in Jesus? It is currently rebellious as most of the so-called Christian churches are today? Does it have any doubt that God is King of this universe?
Than answer, of course, is no. Sounds simple, but very often the truth usually is. Since the Remnant needs none of those things which will fall upon this world during its last seven years to acknowledge Jesus as Lord, for it to be left here for “hell on Earth” is not logical and there are precedents in the past for God saving his own:
Righteous Enoch.
Noah and his family.
Lot and his family.
And these are only three examples.
To me, the Rapture of the church is very much in accord with how God has dealt with the faithful when, especially in the cases of Noah and Lot, their worlds were about to come to an end.
So, the idea of a rapture is not some new idea which popped up out of nowhere within the last couple of centuries, but is based on truths which have been around for a very, very long time!
