Crying Out For Jesus To Return

Can you imagine looking up and seeing Angels by the millions lead by the Altogether Lovely One descending from above. The Bible teaches us to anticipate, even “Hasting” to the Day of the Lord. Christians are constantly encouraged to look with joy to the time of Christ’s return. Peter stated, “Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. (II Peter 3:12-14) This is the kind of Truth the Christian Church of our day has no time to discover. If you love the world you cannot love the coming of the Day of God. If you believe its alright to live in known sin or to sin everyday and repent every night over the same sins you cannot rejoice about Jesus coming. The Bible says plainly, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” ( I John 2:!5-17) You cannot under no circumstance, love the Coming of Jesus Christ and love this filthy world at the same time. He’s coming for that person or those persons that are looking (LONGING, YEARNING, EVEN CRYING OUT) for Him to come. Can you imagine looking up and seeing Angels by the millions lead by the Altogether Lovely One descending from above. At the same moment you will begin to rise, As the world recedes the city of Heavenly Jerusalem will appear in the distance. Suddenly Jesus will appear to give you a personal welcome. It’s almost over!

  1. Jesus is coming on Saturday!

Dear Richard: PLEASE LISTEN TO A FRIEND!!!
Anyone that sets a date for Jesus to return is a “BIBLICAL TRAIN WRECK.”

    Joseph Chambers

  2. I wish that were true – about Saturday.
But God forbid date setting of the rapture. What is this crazy guy up to.
I hope he comes Sunday, the day after. 🙂

I’m not crying out for Yahushua return because He not coming until things are just right for His return. But I will be doing as scripture teaches singing the new song of Rev. 14:3 and 15:3. For I’m of the children of light knowing when he returns; that it will not be as a thief to those in the light. For the unrighteous He comes as a thief. A man can cry all he wants for Christ to return. But the Bible teaches to watch for His return.

Melvin, YOU ARE A TRAIN WRECK ALSO!!!!!! OFF THE WALL!!
PLEASE LET ME HELP YOU> I CARE! I speak plain because this subject is to important to mince words.

  4. I have been looking up and crying out and waiting to hear the trumpet and see our Lord Jesus up in the air, saying “Come Up, Church”. I do yearn and long for the trip home and now that i am close to 60, it is more exciting everyday. But! It is not because I am old, I have been excited about it since my salvation, at 31 years old. I am blessed, but I am ready to be in HIS presence!

  5. Brother Chambers, thank’s again for your wisdom and Love for the Lord! One thing we do know for sure is that Jesus will not take the Church out on the 21st (which already is in some parts of the world) so I agree w/Sandra! What’s getting me is these bloggers saying that we can not even know the season, this is troubling, we know that it will happen when many think not, lets not be one of them. Also a lot of this non rapture stuff comes out of Matt 24, what people do not understand, Jesus was talking to those that were Jewish on the Church was not even a thought to the congregation, it wasn’t until the Day of Pentecost that the ‘Church’ was conceived!

  6. This article sure sounds like worshipping angels, Joseph.

But I am pleased to see you helping folks get out of the false and heretical
Millennialism of Harold Camping. As we Catholics know, any man who claims he
knows the time and date (Saturday May 21 at 6 pm, when last I heard) of the
end is presuming to penetrate the mind of God – an abomination, to be sure.

Only God knows the time of the end. He’s given a few hints so we can be aware
of but not enough to give any man an inside scoop. The end will come “like a
thief in the night” as both St Peter (2Peter 2:10) and St Paul (1Thessalonians
    5:2).

I hope you find this message safe enough for you to post without somehow
causing any confusion or disquiet among the Sabbatarian followers of the
    Old Covenant.

  7. Hello Pastor Joseph.

Prophecy has often been called “history written in advance.” I like that because it shows that from God’s perspective beyond time and space, he already knows what is to come just as he knows the past. He is truly he is the Alpha and Omega (or Aleph and Tau, if you prefer Hebrew) – beginning and end.

But what of those examples of God “changing his mind” as far as timing goes? The destruction of Ninevah was held off because they repented. Ultimately, however, it did occur.

Hezekiah was given another 15 years to live, but, of course, he finally died.

Does this mean we can somehow affect the timing of the events of the Last Days, including the Rapture?

I really don’t know and would enjoy hearing more on this fascinating subject.

  8. JESUS said that HE didn’t even know when The Rapture would occur. So I’m thinking what makes this guy more special than the ONE Who saved us. I’m also thinking that GOD is probably not so pleased with this fellow. I do hope that we are taken Up soon and get away from this crazy mess and the evil that surrounds us, including the satanic evil muslim in the White House!!!!! GOD help us!!!!!

  9. I personally believe there is a skill to writing articles that only a few posses and frankly you have it , you genius?2

  10. Dear Pastor Chambers,
Good —– ! Some of these folks are confused !
Please keep putting a fire under our feet and preaching about The Lord’s soon return.
Hopefully you’ll help some of the confused before we’re snatched out of here.
Not a hint of worshipping angels to be found in this.

Please keep exciting us for Christ’s return !Looking forward to more !!!!

Dear Pastor Joseph Chambers, What a wonderful sustained sermons that you are posting; it edifies
me much, exhorts me to reinforce the message of the Coming of our Lord to my friends.
Oh what a wonderful foretaste of things to come ! I sing this song “It is well with my soul” and in
that song this para is most inspiring for me and I often sing it:
“…And, Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight,
    the clouds be rolled back as a scroll;
the trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend,
even so, it is well with my soul…..”

    Maranatha !

  12. In the week prior to Saturday the 21st, local secular talk-show hosts were having a field day deriding true believers by mocking Camping AND true believers who take God at His Word. Another black eye for those who love His return.

The Day of God, as Peter described, will usher in the new heaven and new earth. The entire universe will be cleansed with fervent heat to destroy all vestiges of sin. The day of the Lord comes first: this includes the period after the Rapture, the Tribulation and of course, the millenial reign of Jesus. Jesus said Be Ready and Watch: Matthew 24:44, Luke 21:36 and others.

  13. Robert hopes he will return, sometimes this year, If it begain at Penticost, It might just end on
Penticost, But surely I do not know. But I know it will happen
Watch President Obama, Trying to make Israel return to the 1967 borders, That may happen by years end, Fire will fly– When they try to do this, World war 3 is in our face,
By the way the war is supposed to last 13 weeks, The Antichrist will rise at the end of that war.
Watch Israel, That will help you a lot. If the Anti-Christ shows up, We have already departed from
this earth, What a day that will be, in the twinkle of the eye, We are clothed an in the Clowds,
And so shall we ever be with the LORD.
    Robert

  14. Mr. Camping is a —- who does not read his Bible. Nor do his followers. There are people out there who have quit their jobs and have budgeted their money so they do not have one cent left after today. Many are with children. What will they do when their hopes have been crushed? It is more likely they will curse G-d rather than take issue with the fool they chose to follow. I am just a regular insignificant individual yet, even I know what the Bible says about the coming of Christ. No one knows the day or the hour that He will come. The Father only!

I grow ever tired of all who negate what G-d says in His Word. Every preacher who bypasses and cherry picks according to his own lusts, and to keep the money rolling in. G-d help all the ‘shepherds’ who have fleeced and mislead the flocks. For the shepherd, the judgment is much worse than for the sheep.

  15. Lydia V. W. Idaho

    Dear brother in Christ Jesus,
thank you for your “voice in this wilderness” we live in. Mr. Campain is not prophet, he calculate and try to interpret what is not for our to know…….there are many others who do much harder damage to Church…..in my oppinion…….if he is right, hallelujah!!! if not than the waiting upon the Lord just continue…….are we really ready?, ….do we anticipate HIS glories upearance? with joy and hope in our heart? At least….he stirr our intention around Rapture and I think, people who call them self Christian (followers of Jesus) wake up and check them self HOW MUCH of OIL (H. Spirit) they have……and for that reason, it is good even this mistake. I think.
After all, no matter what is going on (bad or good) in this world, county, states…..all is working for good for those who love and wait on HIM. Rom.8,28. No need to use names.
God bless you all, and be ready……..HE IS COMING!!!!!!

  16. Brother Chmabers, You preach it!! This may 21st set date for Christ’s return is extremely foolish. Yet many buy into it. This just goes to show that people don’t read their own Bibles. Everything and anything their pastor says they swallow hook line and sinker. It’s no wonder His coming will come as a snare to all that dwell on the world. We are to pray to be accounted worthy. The only man that anyone should listen to regarding Christ’s return, is Jesus Christ HIMSELF! HIS WORD!

  17. the past tense of “forbid” is “forbade” – although, come 6 pm today, the day of the Rapture, the entire question of syntax and grammar may become purely academic.

Be of good cheer, said Jesus, “I have overcome the world!”

  18. Mr. Camping has done the Kingdom of God a great disservice. God is being made fun of by people who do not know any better, lost souls who are headed for hell. We all need to pray not only for the people he has deluded but also for Mr. Camping.

  19. Kenneth Acushla

There is one event in the Gospels which I find is never mentioned. The resurrection of the OT Saints on The Day of The Passover…..When I read what the NT says about The Firstfruits and The Harvests I read about The Day of Pentecost in the OT. Enoch was taken on his Birthday The Day of Pentecost which is The Birthday of The Ecclesia. Last year 2010 was the start of The Days of Noah with Record Breaking Flooding Rainfalls all over Planet Earth with DOUBLE Rainbows being seen. So I am hoping that the number of the Gentiles will be complete this year and we will be taken on our Birthday.
