Blaspheming The Holy Spirit Of Holiness
The person that forsakes Righteousness/Holiness is like a dog that goes back to his own “vomit” or a pig that goes back to the muck of the “hog pen.” That sounds so horrible and that is why the Holy Ghost gave those words to Apostle Peter. The Heavenly Father and the Lord Jesus wants you to see how horrible and destructive it is to leave a righteous life. Let’s read the actual words given by the Holy Ghost. “For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire” (II Peter 2: 20-22). This is the greatest warning in the Bible about apostatizing. This is clear language and should serve as a stark picture of what we see literally consuming the church world. There is no way to hide the fact that departure from a Biblical life is dark and damnable. I have been saved for 59 years and have been a pastor for 53 years; but I have never seen what is now happening. The “Spirit of Apostasy” is growing beyond my grasp. I’m asking my Father to give me a greater ANOINTING for the hour so I can cry aloud the truth.

I pray for you every day, Jesus blood upon you for a fresh annointing & that your gifts would help & feed us. Jesus has always been my Lord and Saviour. But i have never ever been perfect and have sinned, every day i ask for forgivness.
Right now i too am a little overwhelmed with all thats going on, at home and in the world.
My Faith in Jesus is better than riches or a Degree in this world, my Hope in Christ is better than the Idols & promises of this world, we seek a new Heaven and a new Earth.

We went yesterday to a Healingservice with Pastor Clark Taylor and we wasn’t sure wether it has been right or not when do you know when there is a wolf in sheeps clothing.

I was too late to hear your broadcast live today, but loved it. You explained very clearly the Biblical position concening the difference between apostasy, backslidding, blasphemy, and compromise that has invaded the Church in these last days. You are correct about Replacement Theology which is the main reason I left the mainline denominations years ago. Visiting Mt. Paran Church of God in Atlanta with my other daughter last week, I longed for the time when the presence of God was in that place. Seems like even they have left their first love for a more comtemporary type of worship than that “good old Pentecostal preaching” like you mentioned during your program. Meredith and Landon were busy with the children this afternoon, but I reminded them to listen on the internet. For the past three years, Landon has “bounced” from R.C. Sproul(amillennialism/supersessionism) to Scofield (premillennialism/dispensationalism) and the Church of God in between. These young people are easily deceived by Evangelist like Bentley, Warren, and Osteen just as you mentioned. Please send us a copy of your booklet: “A God That Unholy Men Can Worship.” These TV Evangelists are preaching “another Jesus” rather than the Son of Almighty God. In case I am unable to call in during the program next Saturday, would you answer the question as to whether or not men like Kenneth Copeland, Rod Priestly, and others on TBN were ever born again Christians? What a shock is was to see about seven-eight other channels just like TBN in Atlanta! ( We don’t get that many here in Myrtle Beach….to which I am very grateful!) By the way, my old friends at Mt. Paran feel the same as I do about the changes we’ve seen in the church over the years. This younger generation thinks we are “old fashioned” (Yep, about 2,000 years or so)

In 2004, I witness an example of this scripture. A 48 yr old man was healed of diabetes
in a little W.Tx. Pentecostal church. His glucose went to normal for the first time since his
high-school days. He was so excited, he stayed up through the night calling family & friends.
But the next week, he went back to his old ways, saying he wanted to enjoy life while he could,.
The scripture indicates whomever takes these blessings for granted, and turns back to a sinful nature may end up worse than before.
Today this man is only 54, living in a nursing home after suffering 2 strokes.
He has limited mobility, using a walker, and a memory loss from the 2nd stroke.
He may live a long time, now, but minus all the earthly things that were most important to him.

Hi Bro. Chambers & other readers & posters! And a big AMEN to what Ed Wood said!! The biggest indicator to me that we’re on the threshold of eternity (in addition to ALL the other signs in the world) is the APOSTATE CHURCH!!
Oh my goodness ~ do you have ANY IDEA how difficult it is to find a good, BIBLE TEACHING church these days? Nigh impossible!! And that’s coming from people who live right smack in what used to correctly be dubbed, “The Bible Belt”!!
The SBC, which is my background, almost *always* erroneously teaches, “once saved, always saved”, thus I know people who live like the devil & always claim “freedom from THE LAW”. They simply do not want to serve Jesus with holy lifestyles; they simply do not want to live in obedience to Him. And they think those who teach that are “legalistic”.
Now the SBC convention is aligning itself with Rick Warren & his buds (use search engines for info & you will see that he is the keynote speaker for the 2011 Southern Bapt. Convention!) There should be SCREAMS heard about this — but instead, they’re asleep & they think it is fine!! *sigh*
Thankfully Noah Hutchings came out of that & wrote a book about it. And there are a *few* who are awake & have ears to hear.
Then, like you all mention – while on a recent weekend trip, I could not sleep, so I clicked thru’ TV channels & heard TONS of false teaching on the tube!! One man in particular was telling his gay-based congregation that Sodom & Gomorrah is NOT STILL ON FIRE!! ~ in trying to make the point that it will not be *ETERNAL* hell fire!!
Oh my goodness — had to change the channel quickly!! satan is alive & doing very well in these end days & yes, sadly, right inside the church walls.
Our job is to be WISE as serpents, yet harmless as doves. We must exercise DISCERNMENT by opening our Bibles & praying for the Holy Spirit to guide our understanding…that is the ONLY WAY we get discernment to even *KNOW* who is & who isn’t a false teacher in these end days.
MARANATHA!! May our gathering together with Jesus be super soon!! Being with Him is our Blessed Hope; He is our only Hope. Praise Him today! And thank Him for His word. Amen!

Oh! and BTW…. providing my other response gets posted first, then you will understand this follow-up… in that not only will Rick Warren, “Mr. Apostacy” be at the So. Bapt. convention this year ~ but also false teacher (who does not believe in the Trinity) T.D. Jakes will be there as well!!
NO SURPRISES then ~ that both of these men are personal friends of the U.S. President!! ~ who highly praised both men even before he got into high office, claiming they were excellent role models of faith in action.
Because all sounds so syrupy-sweet and “good”, I truly believe it’s by the Holy Spirit, that certain ones have eyes to see & ears to hear!! These are the end of the end days, friends!!
