Birds Falling, Fish Dying, and Earthquakes
HEADLINES: Forty Thousand Velvet Crabs Washed up on the Coast of Great Britain. Penguins Dying and Littering the Beaches of New Zealand. Crows Falling Out of the Sky in Sweden. Eight Thousand Turtle Doves Falling Dead to the Ground in Italy. Two Million Dead Fish Washed up along the Shores of the Chesapeake Bay. That is just a few places from a much larger number of headlines.
It appears to have started on New Year’s Eve and has been escalating daily for over two weeks. Brazil is dealing with hundreds of tons of dead fish. In state after state all across America, thousands of birds and millions of fish are mysteriously dying. There are numbers of reasons being given, but the answers sound emptier than not giving any answer. Is all of it more evidence that we are quickly approaching the Great Tribulation?
I believe 2011 will be a year of signs from heaven above and earth beneath. There is a Jewish proverb that states, “Accidents are not kosher.” The earth is the Lord’s and nature is God’s system — full of warnings and signs of the time. Absolutely nothing of human life is without cause or purpose. Nature does not exist out of God’s control but is a system of balance and design. Whatever is in our Creator’s plan is played out on a daily schedule. Jesus Christ warns us of man’s failure to discern the signs of the time. He stated, “And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?” (Matthew 16:3).
Earthquakes have always been viewed by Godly people as a warning from the Creator. The Son of God stated, “And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven” (Luke 21:11). The growing frequency of earthquakes is ominous. We are witnessing an increase of earthquakes that is above normal and that perfectly fulfills the End Time prophetic events. A scale of earthquakes over a span of the last ten years is scary. There were twenty-one earthquakes that were over a magnitude of 6.0 in the year of 2002, but there were 168 earthquakes over a magnitude of 6.0 last year in 2010.
Before the OBD radio broadcast this past Saturday, I went online at USGS to research the frequency of earthquakes. From midnight on Friday until 11:30 AM on Saturday (11.5 hours), there were twenty earthquakes over 2.5 magnitudes, nine of them were over 4.5 magnitudes. I just read a headline from Arkansas, where many of the birds and fish are dying. The state had thirty-eight earthquakes in 2009 and over 600 in 2010. Nearly 500 of them were during the months of September – December. Today, earthquakes are as clearly the voice of the Lord as the one that shook Jerusalem and Calvary when the Son of God said, “It is finished.”
Peter declared the voice of God, “And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath” (Acts 2:19a). The media is awash with terrifying reports out of the heavens. One headline stated, “Terrifying Scientific Discovery: Strange Emissions by Sun Suddenly Mutates Matter . . .” (Project World Awareness). Another headline said, “Earth’s Magnetic Pole Shift Unleashing Poisonous Space Clouds, Linked to Mysterious Bird Deaths” (naturalview.com). This report warned that a cloud of this nature covering a major city would cause a multitude to die instantly. When you know that the infallible Scripture has warned us that this kind of End Time phenomena is going to occur, why do we fail to discern that the end is near? My friends, you must get ready to meet God!
The death of such an unprecedented number of birds and fish all over the world denies a simple problem. A just released news report gave details of the death of two hundred cows in a single pasture in Wisconsin. These all died over a span of a few days. It is impossible to call all of this anything but alarming. The Bible must always be the factor in understanding what we are facing in our world. By the Holy Ghost, an Old Testament prophet spoke and said, “I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven and the fishes of the sea” (Zephaniah 1:3a).
The kind of judgments that are right before us are clear prophecies, given by the Holy Ghost and they cannot be erased. Our world is in such a slumber that the only way a Holy Ghost revival can occur is for all of us to be awakened. There is a great majority that will only hate God more as His wrath is revealed. But, a remnant will wake up and repent. That’s all we can hope for in these last hours before the Rapture.

The lastest news, 200 cows die on one dairy farm in Wis. They are saying it was a virus. I do not believe this. Having been raised on a farm, if it was a virus, it would be a slow die off. Not 200 in one day. “Hear the word of the Lord, ye children of Israel: for the Lord hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor knowledge of God in the land. By swearing, and lying, and killing,and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood. Therefore the land shall mourn, and everyone that dwelleth therein shall languish,with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.” Hosea 4:1-3

Your message only confirms what I know in my heart. “Look up for our redemption is near!” People are in a state of denial because they are still hooked on things of this world and want to wait until certain worldly events in their life take place! How very foolish!
The world is making shabby and pathetic excuses for all these fish, birds, etc. dying. You and I know it’s a sign from Almighty God. I accept it because I know what the Word of God says and I’m eager to see Jesus my Lord and Savior!

What about those vapor trails emitted from aircraft around the world loaded with impurities? Could this have any bearing on these deaths?

Regarding the dead birds and animals: I’m thinking that it could be caused by HAARP up there in Alaska. The signs don’t necessarily need to be supernatural, they could be cause by natural events.

Hello Pastor Joseph.
Perhaps even more ominous than the ever-increasing signs that “something” is definitely wrong is the fact that most of “organized religion” is totally oblivious to the growing signs of distress in our world today and their implications.
It does indeed parallel the blindness of the religious authorities in Jesus’ own time which did not allow them to recognize him as the Messiah. Nor did Noah’s, Lot’s, or Moses’ contemporaries in their respective eras perceive the signs of their times.
I believe that Jesus warned us of the Last Days being similar to those of Noah for this very reason so those who believe in him and his Word would recognize those conditions which are upon us right now.
For those who willingly remain ignorant, there will be serious consequences (Hosea 3:6-10; Matthew 24:48-51).
For those who faithfully keep watch, there will be redemption (Matthew 24:45-47).
TODAY would be a very good time for each of us to decide which it will be, don’t you think?

I believe you are right. January 2011 through May 21, 2011 will be a time of warnings to us from Holy Lord God Jehovah. May 21 will be the date that the true believers will meet Jesus in the clouds and October 21, 2011 will be the final day of earth’s existance. All of this information is given to us in God’s Holy Bible.

JR, i noticed that the 21 large earthquakes of 2002 versus the 168 of the same larger size in 2010 is another sign within a sign. Do the math, i always do when prompted and the sign is there. It is exactly 8 times as many large earthquakes last year as 2002. Of course the number 8 according to E.W. Bullinger in his book, “Number in Scripture” represents GOD. Like i said, a sign within a sign, just the same as there are multiple levels to proper ELS bible codes, some even musical. Also a prophetic word was given about the birds being a sign from GOD back in April 25, 2009, in the town of Ashtabula. The town’s name means “river of many fish” where the prophecy was given about the birds. All tied together, in order, without confusion or ignorance, on the part of those who pay attention.

Too often we forget that God is also working in other parts of the world, and just because we don’t see these things happening on our doorstep, doesn’t mean they are not happening and that everything is just fine, because,no it’s not find, the end is upon us and we need to wake up and see the evidence

High Altitude Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP 1984 Edward Teller Visits Alaska), may kill birds but space clouds of varied isotopes may be the ticket as well. The may change the way the sun burns too. Mayans say Feb 10th 2011 has some importance to them. There is more than a passing similarity on prophecy here with our scriptures, but we do not set dates!
i Hate to see all these creatures die, even Noah had an ark for the animals in his day.

Thank you for being the dilligent, and steadfast servant of the lord that you are. I have followed your writing for 23 yrs now and I always feel the annointing of the Holy Ghost on your words verifying the spirits approval.
I have been writing a book now for 2 years. I dont know if it was layed on my heart because he (The Sprit) wanted it published, or if it was to thrust me into the greatest education I have ever had in my life researching it. I have to tell you what god has revealed to me, and how he has personnaly approved what I have learned. I am soon to start teaching on Sunday nights here in Kannapolis on these very subjects and I anticipate a good crowd will eventually be out to hear what the lord wants them to hear in these last days. I know it is time for all these signs and wonders to break thru, and people, WE DO NOT HAVE LONG!!
I follow the USGS (United States Geological Society)also and have for a couple years. Interesting that where the birds falling in America first came from Arkansas where all these earthquakes had been happening, and close to that is the New Madrid Fault. This fault in unlike anyother in the country and the last time there was a major quake there in the 1700’s the Mississippi ran backwards. There have beeb some prophecies lately by men of God that America is about to “judge herself” so to speak if Pres Obama continues with his preasure on Israel. These men said that there would be a major quake i the heartland of America that would divide our land. You can pretty much see that this is in the heartland of the USA.
I recently saw where there were a couple wierd anomolies witnessed by scientist haveing to do with a couple twist in the earth magnetic flux. They do not know what caused it. There were no solar flares or anything as far as they can tell. You see the media doesn’t want to report on the truth. They want to always show these things being normal . People dont want to hear it either so they pull away from the truth. If they dont have Yeshuas blood covering them, they cant understand and discern the spiritual signs anyway. John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”
It does make me wonder why alot of fellow christians dont understand that they are supposed to be happy as we see this time approaching.I am happy. Lets get ready to go. PRAY FOR THE LOST AND LOOK UP, OUR REDEMPTION DRAWETH NEAR!
