The Eternal Kingdom Of Satan; The Lake Of Fire

Saturday, February 27th, 2010

This Lake of Fire is the created place that our Father provided to separate the Satanic crowd from the New Heaven and New Earth. Angels are eternal beings that were created to live forever but because they rebelled there must be a place for them. The humans that go there will be intruders because Jesus Christ has made Himself a sacrifice to save us from Satan’s fate. Isn’t it sad to see such multitudes that reject Jesus Christ and continue on the road to destruction? It is a choice because we were created with the God-given right to decide. How could anyone think differently when the Great Father said to Adam and Eve,”And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die” (Genesis 2: 16-17). There is no right that the Heavenly Father gave us greater than choice. If you take that from man, he becomes a robot. Our Father wanted a family that loved Him because they chose to love Him. This truth makes the Lake of Fire the choice of man instead of some unthinkable decision of our God. If He sent men to the Lake of Fire just because He chose, the God of the Bible would be as dark as Allah of the Islamic religion.

The Surrender Of Our Will

repentance

Something beautiful happens when an individual surrenders his will to Jesus Christ. Our Creator has a sovereign plan for each of our total lives, and that design is so spectacular and heavenly that nothing can compare. He has predestined us from the foundation of the world to His glory. His Word declares that He alone is the foundation on which we must build. After we surrender to this single foundation, then He begins the beautiful process of revealing the rest of His story plan to us. The Spirit said to the Ephesus church family, “Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself” (Ephesians 1:9). He cannot, and will not, reveal His will until we surrender our will to Him.

Jesus Christ was our perfect example. The Gospel of John reveals His absolute subordination to His Father. He never spoke of His own ideas or plans. In fact, He had no other plan but His Father’s. “Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself” (John 7:16-17). I love this divine statement. First, He said, “I have no will but the Father’s.” Then, He said, “If you will surrender to His will, then you will have the enlightenment of knowing in your heart that My doctrines are pure and divine.” Something supernatural happens in our very spirit and mind once we surrender our will to the Heavenly Father. The Son of God was plain-spoken. “If any man will do his will he shall ‘know’…”

This is divine revelation. Multitudes are asking, “How can I know the will of God?” Multiple books are being written on “finding God’s Will.” All of the searching and hand wringing could end quickly if each person would totally surrender their will to Him. No book but the Holy Bible can reveal the will of God for you. But the one addition to that Book is God’s readiness to apply the truth of that Book when you give up your own will. Only the Spirit of God can reveal in your heart all the plans for your life. Your profession, your partner of a wife or a husband, your time, and every aspect must be discerned as you are totally yielded and free of all your preconceived plans.

We live in a religious world that says you can bring all your talents, plans, decisions, etc., into your Christian walk. Some would even suggest that there are many different paths to serving God and God wants you to just be yourself. This concept is not only wrong, it is terrible. The eternal God knows your name, your abilities, your sins, and your thoughts. He has the perfect solution for all your needs and the perfect plan for all your life. He wants you to surrender your will totally and submit to His revelations for your life.

Our nature is depraved. The most eloquent and cultured person among us has a wicked heart that must be washed in the Blood. This is the greatest struggle in the present church world. Multitudes are willing to profess Jesus Christ as long as it is on their own terms. Salvation is not just the redeeming of the old nature but the renewing and transformation of that nature. It is the miracle of being “born again.” He does not sanctify my will but totally changes my will to His will at my surrender.

A man, who was born blind, was seated by the path where Jesus and His disciples ministered. His disciples ask Jesus, “Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him” (John 9:2-3) Every situation of every individual soul on this earth has been allowed or designed for God to reveal Himself in that life. Your worst nightmare is an ordained opportunity for God to change your life. He is sovereign over His universe. Nothing that happens is meaningless. Whatever your situation or heartbreak, surrender your will to Him and He will begin the process of miracles.

When you give up all your will and great plans to the “Master Designer of Human Lives,” He will reveal His design and you will discover a glorious life. He awaits somewhere beside the path you are struggling to navigate. His plans may not always take you through a flower garden, but it will always end in one.

The Lake Of Fire And Brimstone

Friday, February 26th, 2010

Either the Lake of Fire is a real place or the Bible is a false book. Here is the Bible speech, “And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone” (Revelation 19:20). The Antichrist and the False Prophet are men. The multitude that have taken the Mark of the Beast are men and women. Then, Satan is cast in this same Lake of Fire. “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the Lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever” (Revelation 20:10). After that, we see those judged at the White Throne Judgment and they are cast into this same Lake of Fire. “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire” (Revelation 20:14-15). Since there is only one Lake of Fire in the Bible, the wicked or unrepentant men and women are going to spend eternity with the devil, all the demons, the Antichrist and False Prophet, and all of those that take the Mark of the Beast. Such company would make a place hell even without the fire and brimstone. But, remember this place was created after Satan sinned with the fallen angels. It was created for them and not for you because Christ died for you. If you reject the saving Blood of the Son Of God, you will be an intruder in that Lake of Fire.

Revised & Expanded – The Copper Scroll: Temple Treasures

Thursday, February 25th, 2010

coppersrcolls_jordlg

In 1952 one of the greatest discoveries of an ancient script, written on copper, was found near Qumran. It took several years to open or unroll the scroll in order for the deciphering of the text to begin. Because it was a very fragile document — nearly two thousand years old – there was great fear that it would be destroyed before it could be translated. The disagreements of the assigned scholars and the intrigue of such a valuable possession led to years of delay. There are still differences of opinions, but a fairly solid consensus is that the treasures noted in this scroll are indeed from the Jewish temple and they do exist.

The entire world is watching every event and every idea that relates to Israel. Numerous Bible prophecies concerning this chosen nation are emerging, this Copper Scroll being one of them. The leaders of Gog and Magog as named in the Bible are each in place and bellowing out their plans. Thirty years ago Persia (Iran) was our ally, but Bible prophecy scheduled that historic part of the world for a different course. For Biblical truths to be fulfilled, people of many stripes are used — often or actually in most cases — without one semblance of understanding about their role. Persia/Iran has been completely transfigured until they are ready to be the point nation leading the war to their own holocaust. Gog and Magog may well occur in 2010.

Nothing relating to Israel is more exciting than their talk of the coming Messiah. Their speaking about the Jewish Messiah cannot be separated from talk about their temple in Jerusalem. Yet, that temple site is already occupied by an opposing strategic religious center. Well over one billion adherents to that religion would fight to the death to stop a Jewish temple. This issue between the Islamic religion and Israel’s preparation to build their temple is one of the world’s hottest subjects. Only the Sovereign God can possibly solve this problem and He will.

The Copper Scroll treasures contain almost enough gold and wealth to rebuild the temple. A Catholic priest, Josef Milik, was assigned as the research scholar responsible for writing the official findings. He said that the gold and silver represented over 200 ton or 400,000 pounds. The entire treasure was estimated to be valued at two to three billion dollars some years ago. That has more than doubled at today’s value. Of course, these estimates are considered too small by some scholars and too large by others. There is some speculation that the final Copper Scroll’s trove of treasures will identify the location of the “Ark of the Covenant.”

Hershel Shanks, the editor of the Biblical Archaeological Review, tells about a meeting of scholars and experts in which the majority agreed that the treasure is real and that it all came from the Jerusalem Temple. (The Copper Scroll, Hershel Shanks, p. 51.) It is believed that before the Romans finally took and destroyed the temple in AD 70 that this wealth of gold and treasures was hid from them. Whether or not the “Ark of the Covenant” is part of this trove of temple treasures does not mean the ark has not been preserved.

The Copper Scroll treasures were almost assuredly from the Second Temple, but the Ark of the Covenant was not ever discovered after the First Temple. It seems certain that faithful priests had hidden the ark when Nebuchadnezzar was camping beyond Jerusalem’s Walls in preparation to destroy the city. This was 586 BC. From research, it is evident that Nebuchadnezzar sought diligently to save the Temple of Solomon, probably for Daniel’s and Jeremiah’s sake. Nebuchadnezzar’s general was instructed to take Jeremiah from among the captives and protect him. He was allowed to either stay in Israel and return to his own estate or go to Babylon to be cared for by his own people.

The Copper Scroll reveals the hidden place of sixty-four different troves or groups of treasures. Here are two of those locations, along with the list of items included: “In the basin that is in the valley of […], in the tomb of its source, a black stone 2 cubits (away); it is the entry: 300 talents of gold and 20 indemnity vessels.” (Ibid., Location 49, p. 100.) “In a cavity that is in the bright place north of Kohilt, opening to the north, and (where there are) graves at its entrance a duplicate of this document and an explication and their measurements and a detailed inventory of everything, one by one.” (Ibid., Location 64, pg 101.) In the location of the 62nd treasure, the amount of gold and silver is 600 talents (45,000 pounds).

When will this great abundance of treasuries be discovered? Actually, there is no need for this discovery until the Temple Mount is purified and vacant. I am convinced that most, if not all of these temple items, along with the wealth of gold and silver, is hid beneath the exact location of the ancient Temple of Solomon. If the Ark of the Covenant was directly beneath the Second Temple’s Holy of Holies, the priest could have offered the Blood sacrifice behind the veil and above the ark in Christ’s day. This would be the reason that the veil before the Holy of Holies was rent when the Son of God died at Calvary.

It seems fitting that the firestorms that will destroy the armies of Gog and Magog and obliterate the Islamic religion will also sweep the Temple Mount and purify it with fire. The promise of God’s defense of Israel includes prophecy stating, “Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel” (Ezekiel 38:19b). Ezekiel further prophesied, “And the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground” (Ezekiel 38:20b). I add this possibility, “All the treasures of God’s temple shall be revealed.” When the war of Gog and Magog is finished, it will be time for Israel to build their temple.

The Book of Revelation gives reference to two different temples, the Heavenly prototype and the Third Temple in Jerusalem. This last great book of the Bible is written primarily to the church, but it would be impossible to eliminate the presence of Israel or the city of Jerusalem. The 144,000 Jews, who are converted to Christ immediately after the Rapture (Revelation 7:1-8), clearly show that God never forgets His Son’s earthly family. The nation of Israel will continue in unbelief until the Seven Years of Tribulation is finished, but many Jewish individuals will come to faith as the countdown moves toward the Millennium.

Jerusalem’s rebuilt temple is the focal point in the very middle of the seven years of the Great Tribulation. In His Olivet discourse the Son of God called this temple the “Holy Place.” That settled the fact that God will honor this Third Temple, even though it is rebuilt by Jews that will still be waiting for their Messiah. The temple is part of God’s process in preparing for the total redemption of Israel. The fact that the Antichrist desecrates the temple, as Jesus plainly taught, shows that this will end the Jewish effort to complete the re-establishing of Old Testament worship.

Jesus said, “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand): Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened” (Matthew 24:15-22).

The Book of Luke gives us an additional look at Jerusalem and this brief moment of what is happening at the middle of the seven years. “Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled” (Luke 21:21-24).

Since the Book of Revelation is about the entire universe and God’s complete redemption of all things, Jerusalem’s new temple only receives a simple explanation. John is given the task of measuring this grand place and showing the Antichrist’s purpose to defile this highlight of Jewish rebirth. He stated, “And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months” (Revelation 11:1-2).

It’s clear that the nation of Israel will still be under the thumb of her enemies among the Gentiles and will not be free until the Great Tribulation is finished. This period is called “The Times of the Gentiles.” Dispensations in the Bible are distinct periods. They never suggest that God is uninterested in the rest of the world, but that His actions are precise.

Revelation does not show us the Antichrist and his image in the temple actually desecrating this “Holy Place,” but Jesus Christ prophesied that it would happen. John the Revelator described this event without renaming this location. “And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed” (Revelation 13:14-15). The Third Temple must be rebuilt and it will be a grand place. If it were not, the Antichrist would not have any interest in defiling it in his blasphemy against God.

As the Seven Years of Redemptive Tribulation comes to its closing moments, the great prototype temple in Heaven comes into view. I do not believe that it is possible to understand the significance of what the redeemed are going to behold. Any one of the three temples – Solomon’s, Herod’s, or this Third Temple – were or will be the grandest structures this world has ever seen. The Temple of Solomon was the greatest but the beautification by Herod of the Second Temple was almost as grand. Hershel Shanks quoted Josephus, “The gold Herod used in the construction of the sanctuary on the Temple Mount equaled 8,000 talents (600,000 pounds or 300 tons.).” (The Copper Scroll, p. 47 from Josephus, Antiquities of the Jews (Loeb edition) 14.105.) That’s 9,600,000,000 ounces at $1,000/ounce or nine billion, six hundred million in today’s gold value of $1,000/ounce. And that is just the gold and not the glory.

But, the things that we know on earth that are beyond description — as these earthly temples represent — will pale when that grand worship center of Heaven comes into view. The glory of this temple that could contain the combined sovereignty of the Father, His Son, and the Holy Spirit must become visible to the saints as the Great Tribulation ends. “And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in His temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail” (Revelation 11:19).

The sacred treasures of the past Jewish temples — Solomon’s and Herod’s — had to be removed from human hands and human imaginations. I believe God ordained that these treasures be hid from piercing eyes until His timing to establish His Son on the Throne of David. Jerusalem is the only city that could contain this divinely planned and blessed “Holy Place.” I’m delighted that Jesus Christ gave this last temple in Jerusalem a sacred title. For mortal flesh to call a city or a man-made temple a “Holy Place” could be questioned, but for the God-Man to call it such is breathtaking. I believe the treasures of the “Copper Scroll” and the original Ark of the Covenant are a part of God’s plan for His city of Jerusalem and His Golden Temple, where His Son will reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Multitudes Descending Into The Lake Of Fire

Saturday, February 20th, 2010

Jonathan Edwards was asked what his favorite subject was to preach to children. His answer, “Hell, because children have not yet been blinded by sin or have not become corrupted with godless living.” Innocent children are not afraid of preaching about Hell because where sin is not, the master there is no fear of Hell. It is the adults that do not want preaching about the eternal facts of Hell and the Lake of Fire. They are delighted to blame it on the children. There is a wonderful side to understanding the truth of the Lake of Fire. All sin, every expression of sin, every experience of sin, in fact all manifestations of sin will descend into the Lake of Fire. The totality of all essence of sin will be behind the walls of this horrible place for eternity. Sin will be locked in this place of brimstone and the wailing of the sinners will never be heard again. God’s New Heaven and God’s New Earth will be free of every sound, expression, and effect of all sin. How can this be? There is a simple answer, Jesus Christ, God’s Son took our place. He experienced total separation from His Father as He hung on that cross. He became our sins. Vicariously, He bore our sins and the sin principle in the universe and suffered a Hell for us. That’s when He cried, “And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46). That’s what the Second Death is, it is complete separation from everything that relates to God.

Jesus Christ: In The Midst Of His Church

Friday, February 19th, 2010

The first chapter of the Book of Revelation is the highlight chapter of the whole Bible. The Son of God is the theme and there are 41 titles or descriptive terms that apply to Christ. It is the absolute proof of His ascension to the Father’s right hand. There are 22 descriptive terms of Christ before His death and resurrection and 19 terms of His glorious resurrected person after He ascended back to the throne. Anyone that doubts His eternal Sonship has not come to the faith in His Resurrection that we see in this chapter. Revelation is the “DRAMA” of the whole Bible. Every doctrine in the first 65 books of the entire Bible is clearly seen in this Book of Revelation. First, we know that Our Lord Jesus Christ is at the Father’s right hand, because we see it so clearly in these Scriptures. But, He is not only there; He is here. That’s the beauty of Revelation chapter one. John said it beautifully, “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. And in the midst of the seven candlesticks (THE CHURCH) one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle” (Revelation 1:10-11,13). The Church is His Body and He is in our very midst. No true believer can ever be happy without a church to which they can be faithful.

Genuine Enthusiasm Begats Anointing

Thursday, February 18th, 2010

TheCross

God cannot anoint an unenthused person. If you are not excited about the Lord Jesus and His presence, how can He make you His vessel for His glory? Study the history of great awakenings and Sovereign visitations from God and you will find that the Lord always used enthusiastic servants. A Godly person, full of the Holy Ghost, will simply flood forth with a contagious excitement that stirs others for the Lord. Look at Apostle Peter on the Day of Pentecost and compare him with the Peter before the Holy Ghost was sent down. The timid became the bold, the discouraged became the world shaker, and the denier became the proclaimer.

You do not just receive enthusiasm when the Holy Ghost moves upon you. He actually fills you because you are enthused about the Lord Jesus in your life. You will never see the Spirit of His Pentecostal blessing move upon a bunch of dead saints sitting around with the mulligrubs. But, let them began to hunger and thirst after God and to draw near to Him in worship and adoration, and He will draw near to them (James 4:8). All I ever have to do to have a wonderful prayer time or a great worship experience is to truly get excited about my Lord and doing His will.

Hope is almost an unexplored word among the New Testament thinkers. Hope is really enthusiasm or bridled excitement. The meaning of the word in the Greek is actually “joyous expectation.” It is faith springing forth into action and obedience, expecting God to apply the supernatural to our surrender. Biblical hope is a fire of enthusiasm to which God cannot deny His presence. The Psalmist said it well when He proclaimed, “But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel” (Psalms 22:3). Genuine praise that bellows forth from Godly young people and adult saints will create an atmosphere that draws sinners and changes lives.

Apostle Paul had to deal with the enthusiasm of the Corinthian church and teach them how to measure their life in this exciting atmosphere. He taught them that the work of the Holy Ghost was subject to the prophets and that they must do all things “in decency and in order.” Why would He have to teach this? Because enthusiasm is so wonderful and so full of joy that the saints must be disciplined in their response. As you read the history of every great revival, the leaders had to guide the people in disciplining their emotions. Enthusiasm without discipline is the enemy of reason and will bring great confusion. In fact, many people feign enthusiasm as anointing and a multitude of people do not discern the difference.

“Joyous expectation” is so wonderful that it takes mature people to handle it. “He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city” (Proverbs 16:32). Oh, for the glory of having to handle our excitement instead of dying in gloom and discouragement. “Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees” (Hebrews 12:12). It’s time to be enthusiastic for the kingdom of God! “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force” (Matthew 11:12). It’s amazing how close enthusiasm is to violence. We must become radically excited about taking the kingdom for the Lord Jesus Christ. It’s ours for the taking, but it won’t be taken until we are consumed with enthusiasm and obedience.

The Challenge of Haiti Continues

House Compassion

The US 82nd Battalion visited the House of Compassion in Port-au-Prince last week. They provided much needed assistance by delivering bags of rice so they can feed lunch to the children in their school giving them much needed nourishment. It makes you feel good to be an American when you know it is America that is always the first and the best when catastrophe strikes. It does not matter if a nation is our sworn enemy, we will still be there. Haiti needs us as a nation and we are there. We are still under the burden for Haiti because our ministry with these wonderful people is great. Here is a quote from their report:

“Our security wall around the home is back. It was completed last week—took our guys two weeks to get it back up. We are thankful it is back and the watchdogs are able to run the yard at night. The wall around the church will be started soon.

“We were able to get the second level floor poured on the school building we started. We have mentioned in the past that the building will be a three-story school building. Everybody has agreed that two stories are best now: three may be a little too dangerous based on what we have seen. So now we are building a two-story building and will need to purchase more property in the future to build another building that will be used for a school. We also have put the building of the school on hold for now; we are going to take the second floor on the building we have started and turn it into Good Hope Boys Home. The home we have been renting looks a little scary for the boys to stay in now, so we are going to try and get this building finished right away and let the boys home move in to that. The school behind us and the one out in the country both have started back up and have been open for the past two weeks.

“The US 82nd airborne found us last week and brought us some rice and said they will be back. With the rice they brought we have started feeding the kids that come to school behind us. We have about 160 out of 240 that are back and learning on a daily basis. I hope they continue to bring us food supplies so we can continue feeding the children in our area.

“Alicia had a meeting at the school in town on Monday. She said it was sad—the first meeting we had in which all the staff have been back together. With the two teachers that died it was sad not seeing them there. She said the rest of the staff look very tired and worn out. This school is right in the middle of it all and the staff there has seen a lot of death and misery the last month. We are trying to open this school back up the 1st of March. We are looking to rent a yard/field somewhere around that area and put up some tents for the children to finish the school year in.”

Every penny you give will go to this powerful ministry. I am scheduled to go in May, 2010, to preach a revival and to bless Bro. & Sis. Lloyd and their family. I have promised to take a carry-on freezer full of good American food, especially some steak for the family.

Hell, The Lake Of Fire And Blasphemy

Saturday, February 13th, 2010

The blasphemy that is gripping America and the world is absolute proof that the Lake of Fire is soon to become visible. The first two lives to be cast into this burning place of brimstone are the Antichrist and the False Prophet. They will be followed by the multitude that received the Mark Of The Beast. (Read this in Revelation 19:19-21.) The world has come to the place that blasphemy has replaced sin. Jesus Christ is being blasphemed in a great number of churches. They deny that He is the only means of salvation. Nothing could blaspheme Him quicker than to say He is one of God’s plans, but there are other ways. It is the first step of the Antichrist’s plan to replace the Son of God with himself. Many young people are chasing werewolves and vampires as these beastly creatures prepare for the end. Another great proof of the end is the new fun-making about the Lake Of Fire. There is a new musical person or group (could not find the answer) that call themselves “The Lake Of Fire.” They even offer lessons to learn to play a style that is called “The Lake Of Fire.” Can you imagine them on judgment day when it is no longer a song? “But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation” (Mark 3:29). The Lake of Fire will be eternal damnation and misery. It is where the worm dieth not. “Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched” (Mark 9:48).

When The Four Horsemen Ride

Friday, February 12th, 2010

The sixth chapter of the Book of Revelation announces the beginning of the Great Tribulation. The Son of God called this period “The Great Tribulation” and declared that it would be the worst time of all human history. The main movement of this seven years begins with the Son of God. He is the one that received this book from the Father and He is the one that opens the seals. He must be seen as the central figure of everything that comes out of this book. If He is central, then the book is about redemption. There are some very dark things, but that is not the theme. This earth cannot become Paradise Regained unless those dark characters are judged, and judgment is not always pretty. Ugly and wicked spirits, along with the people that love them, are going to be exposed and their judgment is very dark. Every troubling part of the Book of Revelation is the end of sin. At the same time, every redemptive thing is exciting and beautiful. What you see in this book depends on what side you are on. The Four Horseman in the picture are not new to the Bible, because the Book of Revelation is a drama that comes from the entire Word of God. Every great doctrine in the Bible is present in this book. The Book of Revelation was planned as the finishing chapter, the final unveiling of Jesus Christ. Our book, The Masterpiece, is helping a lot of people begin to understand this very simple but profound book. Order this book from our online bookstore. This could be the year when chapter six begins its fulfillment.
