What is America’s Future

Saturday, September 26th, 2009

Does the Bible speak of America’s future and if it does what does it say? Is it possible that before the Rapture America will become a third world nation, or to be plain "A Banana Republic"? Is it possible that we will reverse the trend and turn back to fully support Israel? How in the world have we allowed a pro-Islamic man to be elected President? The one single hope for our nation is a sovereign Holy Ghost revival. Our guest for this broadcast is Terry James, a special friend, fully blind, but the author of 11 books, and I add, so far. His latest book, "The American Apocalypse" is a subject of this Broadcast. We talk of a number of ways America is very important to end time prophecy. Revival: Hope Is In The Air

Friday, September 25th, 2009

Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field. (Zechariah 10:1) There is little doubt that this Scripture is speaking of our end times. The abundance of prophesies promising a "Latter Rain" of God’s Holy Spirit can not but thrill the hungry souls. The very term "Latter Rain" is a powerful fact that relates to the time of the end and the judgments of the Lord. The Lord spoke by the Spirit to Apostle Peter and he wrote it to the church. Here are his exact words. Notice the tern “Latter Rain” again. "Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain." (James 5:7) If the Father is waiting for the “Latter Rain” then I am waiting for the "Latter Rain". How foolish it would be for me not to be expecting this outpouring. Is not not where the church is today, totally unaware that God is about to visit this earth. I think all the Father needs is the right company of saints praying and believing, so He can give the word. Any day it will begin!!!!!! Comments are welcome at jrc@pawcreek.org

No Confidence in the Flesh

Thursday, September 24th, 2009

Human flesh is woefully depraved! This fact inspired Apostle Paul to begin his epistle to the notorious city of Corinth with warnings about human wisdom. This city was one of the richest in the world. Scores of pagan religions had found great acceptance and worshippers. Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, was central to the city with her temple on its most prominent point. It stood on a hill called Acrocorinth and was served with a thousand temple prostitutes. It was a brothel more than it was a temple. It sounds exactly like a multitude of our modern cities in America and the world.

The Holy Spirit said, "For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe" (I Corinthians 1:19-21). It is impossible for any person that trusts the wisdom of this world to discover and know the great wisdom of God. The Bible is often called a "mystery." It is full of great truths that mystify the worldly crowd. The Biblical word mystery as used in the Scripture means "a secret truth known only by inspiration or revelation.” It’s amazing what damage an unspiritual person can do to a simple verse of Scripture!

The Bible was not written or transmitted by the Holy Spirit for natural human wisdom to decipher. The unconverted person or believer that seeks the revelations of the Bible with a worldly mind will miss the hidden mysteries. This truth is the reason our church world is in a dark state. New ideas of theology are more abundant than Bible-loving people can keep up with.

Great prophetic revelations of Scripture are facing strange new interpretations that serve no purpose but to thrust new personalities in the mix. The Antichrist teachings in the Bible are straightforward and enlightening. Godly ministers have been used of the Spirit to give us wonderful understanding. You can count on the new innovative invasions of words to be human wisdom gone amuck.

The apostle, moved by the Spirit, goes deeper with this warning. He quotes Isaiah in chapter sixty-four, verse four, and then explains that great truth. "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him" (I Corinthians 2:9). Read carefully as he warns us that God’s great revelation must be discovered by the wisdom of God, not the wisdom of men. "But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God" (I Corinthians 2:10-11).

Every Bible minister or teacher should commit to memory the next three verses of Paul’s words by the Holy Ghost, "Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned" (I Corinthians 2:12-14). The Holy Spirit is the author of the Holy Bible and He alone is the teacher that will meet you on your knees as you reject all human wisdom and wait for a spiritual visitation. The Bible itself is i ts own interpretation.

Any idea that you have to search the wisdom of men to understand did not come from God. The Word of God teaches us, "For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh" (Philippians 3:3). This is why Apostle Paul stated emphatically, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness" (II Timothy 2:15-16). Vain babbling is the wisdom of men that finds its source in human imagination and pretty words that exalt the flesh.

The Book of Revelation has been left on the shelf because so much that you read or hear about it sounds like a riddle. Every truth in the Bible is dramatized in the Book of Revelation. When we leave every type or symbol in this book free of human imagination and simply go back to the first sixty-five books of the Bible for discovery, this great revelation explodes. The whole Bible is a perfect whole. It needs no other book to be complete and perfect.

There is no greater joy than to search the Bible and live in its revelations. Quit spending your free time in worldly pursuits and empty hobbies. Get alone with God, His Holy Spirit will set you aflame with a spiritual joy that transcends the flesh life. The mysteries of the Bible are simple truths that teach simple and plain living that exalts Jesus Christ in your daily walk. Everything about your life will begin to change and you will be a light to the part of the world into which the Lord places you.

"Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him…" (Psalm 37:4-7a).

When God Intervenes In A Nation

Saturday, September 19th, 2009

America is ripe for either judgment or revival. One or the other is going to happen and very soon. Every great move of God came when it appeared that hope was gone. It is human nature to put off desperate action until the last minute. When a nation of people realize that their backs are against the wall, it is often then that they do the right thing. Will we do the right thing this time? It is beginning to look like we might. It appears to me that American people are showing some signs of waking up. So far it is only disgust with the present political situation. Can that change to a spiritual move and a barrage of prayer and repentance? I am praying that it does.God has promised, " If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. [which...: Heb. upon whom my name is called] (2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV)Would it not be grand to see the churches of America preaching old-time repentance and Godliness. This is what I am praying for as God promised by King David, "Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary."Please send your questions or comments to jrc@pawcreek.org.

"REVIVAL" God Hath Spoken

Thursday, September 17th, 2009

It’s thrilling to search the Scriptures and see the great promise of “Latter Rain Revival.” In these days of great apostasy and false shepherds that have turned truth on its head, God will visit again. The Holy Bible is a book of hope and promise. The enemies of truth have often had their day, but they never have the last word. In both Testaments, God’s prophets promised us — by the Holy Spirit — that our God would rend the heavens and come down.

It’s amazing how Isaiah (740-697 B.C.) and Zechariah (520-?) described the apostasy and false prophets that would characterize the very last days. But, the great truth is that they were men of promise that God would visit with revival after the false had been judged. Isaiah said, “Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence. For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him” (Isaiah 64:1,4).

Apostle Paul quoted this fourth verse in I Corinthians 2:9 so that we could not doubt that the words of Isaiah were for us in the second Testament. Zechariah’s promises are so full of present day fulfillment that only a careless person would doubt.

Zechariah’s prophecies are breathtaking. “Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field” (Zechariah 10:1). James, the Lord’s half-brother and faithful servant marked the time of this rain, “Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain” (James 5:7). If the Lord’s Rapture of His saints is awaiting the “Latter Rain,” then we know it is about to happen. Most of the church world denies it but that will not stop the Lord. He keeps His promises.

Notice how Zechariah marks the false shepherds and identifies them as diviners that have spoken lies, “For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd” (Zechariah 10:2). The Word of God then declares, “Mine anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats” (Zechariah 10:3a). God Himself calls false preachers that have forsaken the right way “goats.”

Where are the Preachers that are preaching righteousness and holiness to this generation? The statement, “Emergent Church!” has become the primary language of the Evangelical church world. Rock music and soulical lyrics are swooning the flock into a stupor. Religion is loved by the deceived that flood the mega-cathedrals; but, abortion, divorce, and homosexuality are rampant. God has become a figment of the imagination, but His awesome Holiness is long lost and forgotten. He will reveal Himself shortly.

It’s thrilling to read the powerful words of Peter at Pentecost. He was echoing, Isaiah, Zechariah, and Joel, etc. These words can no more fail than the sun is going to fall. “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come” (Acts 2:17-20).

An outpouring of the Holy Ghost is at the door. The Apostate Christian world will be left to either repent and become Tribulation Saints or join the Antichrist and False Anointing to march toward Hell with Satan’s Mark of the Beast. This Apostate Church will actually believe that they are serving the modern Christ. Here are the exact words from an email I received on September 11, 2009. “I believed that we are now in a Rapture phase. I’ve been having visions over and over again of massive number of US Marines deploying back into Iraq very soon. They won’t be alone, massive numbers of God’s army will join them there. I have a son in USMC boot camp right now, and another son going to Army boot camp this December. We are servants of God, and we’re ready to lay down our earthly life to help God in defeating his enemies. We will be figthing dual battles against the livingdead in Christ and the spiritual world’s demons on this battlefield. Every souls against Christ will perish” (Email Sent to Me). This is a picture of modern day Post-Millennialism.

How will they justify themselves after the supernatural event of the Rapture? One of the deceived has said, “This fundamental crowd that refuses the paradigm shift will be removed to a non-physical realm so the Age of Enlightenment can usher in the cosmic Christ.” There is nothing of human imagination as powerful as a diabolical deception. The apostasy of this generation has convinced a multitude that the infallible Word of God is not really infallible. Everything of the Bible has become relative. The great moral and practical standard of the Bible is considered cultural teaching of the past and no longer applies to the believer. I heard a minister tell a funeral crowd this week that God will clean you up when He gets you inside His heaven. He even said “that David the Psalmist was the greatest sinner in th e Bible, but called a man after God’s own heart.”

Holy Ghost revival is on the way. No one knows the exact date it will break. The Word of God has declared that, “For when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness” (Isaiah 26:9). It will be judgment mixed with harvest time. It will not be a rock concert called evangelism or shorts-clad preachers wooing the unsuspecting. It will be fiery righteousness that transforms sinners into saints. The presence of God will bring joy and purity to warm the heart and transform the will. It will be a little bit of heaven on earth. “Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby Thou didst confirm Thine inheritance, when it was weary” (Psalm 68:9).

The Absolute Truth Of The Pre-Trib Rapture

Saturday, September 12th, 2009

There is no way a person can use the King James Bible and cast one doubt on the Pre-Tribulation Rapture of the Saints of God. Some of the other versions of the Bible were mis-translated to have a post Tribulation or post millennium rendering. The Holy Bible is full of great passages that leave no doubt that our God will not judge the righteous with the wicked. First, a student of the Bible must understand the different between "Tribulation" and "Great Tribulation". The "Great Tribulation" was named by The Lord Jesus Christ Himself. "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. (Matt. 24:12) This is clearly described By our Lord and placed by Him as fulfillment of Daniel"s 70th week. The Saints of God are promised by Jesus Christ that if they are "Overcomes" they will be kept from this dark hour. "Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth." (Revelation 3: 10). This sermon is worth your time to listen. Comments are welcome at jrc@pawcreek.org

The Total Destruction Of Islam

Saturday, September 12th, 2009

The Islamic religion will soon be history. This false religion has spread its venom and hatred against Christianity and the Jews for over 1400 years. God’s cup of wrath is either full or at the points of boiling. I Believe that the Islamic religion has got to be eliminated because the Anti-Christ and his one world religion will be apostate Christianity. Revelation chapter 17 is a clear picture of an apostate form of both Catholism and Protestantism. The capitol is Rome and there is nothing in Revelation that even shows a shadow of Islam. This is a strong indication that the war of Gog and Magog may happen before the Rapture. The religion of the war of Gog and Magog is Islam but the religion of The seven years of the Great Tribulation is apostate Christianity. This is a positive proof that these two wars are not the same event. Someone recently wrote a book to prove that Gog of the Gog and Magog war is the Anti-Christ. This is preposterous. The Bible calls him The Assyrian several times. Always be wary of new ideas that have nothing but a smart mind behind them. The Bible interprets itself and nothing else. Please send your questions or comments to jrc@pawcreek.org.

Angels Overshadowing Jerusalem

Thursday, September 10th, 2009

As we approach the end of this age, the spirit world is becoming more and more apparent. World events are not accidents, but are part of the overarching actions. The Sovereign God Jehovah is the world architect and His armies are far superior to all the armies of the world together. While our God will use human hands, He is not limited to their action in world affairs.

There are wonderful expressions in the Bible of our God’s appointment of His angels to watch over Jerusalem and the affairs of that city. Hundreds of times in the First and Second Testament, the Lord is named “The Lord of Hosts.” Twice in the Second Testament, He is called “The Lord of Sabaoth,” which has the exact same meaning, but in a stronger term. The terms mean that He is the “Lord of an Army” or “Lord of a Multitude.” This speaks of His Heavenly Host or His great armies of Heavenly angels. These terms have a military connotation and make it plain that the Lord will fight for right and that He will defend His will on this earth.

The prophet, Isaiah, writing by the revelation of God, stated that angels (watchmen) had been assigned over the walls of Jerusalem and that they would never depart until all their enemies and warmongers were destroyed. This promise is over 2,500 hundred years old and many great events have transpired under these angelic watchmen. Their duty has not been to stop all the transgressors, but to assure their ultimate defeat. The armies of many nations have come to their destruction in God’s time because of Jerusalem. This great revelation is clearly tied to the entire history from the time of Isaiah to the fulfillment of Israel’s glorious future. Read this passage carefully. “I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence, And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth” (Isaiah 62:6).

A multitude of devils and devil-possessed men have tried to assure this prophecy’s failure. The fulfillment is on perfect schedule. Our patience is still needed, but not for long. If angels can weep, these spirit creatures of God have no doubt shed a multitude of tears. Can you imagine these appointed angels looking down upon Jerusalem after Titus had decimated the city in A.D. 70? Think of what they must have experienced when the Romans renamed Jerusalem Capitolina after they had rebuilt the city. These great creatures wasted no time continuing the Father’s plan and the day hasted when the name Capitolina was relegated to the ash pile. Over and over the fortunes of Jerusalem have fallen but risen again from defeat. God’s appointed watchmen have been faithful and the glory of their task is soon to triumph.

Daniel had special revelations about the very end of the “Times of the Gentiles” and the activity of Michael. Michael is called the one angel that stands for the people of Israel. It appears that Gabriel is the angel of the church, while Michael is the angel of the Jewish people. I believe those angels appointed by the Lord and revealed to Isaiah are still doing their job above the walls of Jerusalem. Now, in this great revelation of Daniel, Michael stands up and joins those angels to bring an end to all matters that relate to the people of the Lord’s chosen. It would appear that Michael has either stood forth or is preparing to do so. All I know to say to those that oppose Israel is, “Watch out for this mighty warrior.” Let’s deal with portions of Daniel 12. “And at that time s hall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever” (Daniel 12:1-3).

This does not occur until the “end of the age.” The words of this revelation make plain the time of its fulfillment. The Lord told Daniel, “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased” (Daniel 12:4). Angels are already fighting for the Jewish nation, Jerusalem is part of their assignment, but soon the reinforcements will arrive to join the battle. Michael’s involvement is one of the last great acts before the Lord Himself descends from the Father’s presence to defeat the Antichrist and gather all the remnant of Israel.

This prophecy is absolutely to be fulfilled at the close of Jacob’s trouble and the seven years of the Great Tribulation. Jesus affirmed this great fact. He said, “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be” (Matthew 24:21). The Son of God was probably quoting Daniel or at least referring to the same great truth. The truth is that Jesus is the totality of the Word, so Daniel was quoting the Son of God in advance of His coming. We call those great truths given in advance “prophecy.” The Bible is full of such beautiful revelations.

This time is called the Day of the Lord and begins with the resurrection of the dead saints and the rapture of the living saints. Daniel said, “And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake . . .” Isaiah also spoke of this using similar words, “Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain” (Isaiah 26:19-21).

Isaiah separates this resurrection time, showing the Rapture and then the tribulation of the earth, while the saints are secured in a prepared chamber (the wedding chamber). And, then, He shows our coming back to be His army as we, with Him, defeat the Antichrist kingdom. This kind of uniting and harmonizing the Scripture is what the Bible calls “rightly dividing the Word of God” (II Timothy 2:15).

It is of grave importance to understand that this dark period, called “Jacob’s Trouble,” is under the supervision of a mighty prince acting for God to guarantee the survival of Israel. Daniel made it plain in the first verse of this twelfth chapter that all the proceedings cannot begin until Michael takes charge of the spiritual side of this all-out war. No spiritual victory can be won on this earth until it is first won in heaven. This period of time is set and the days are numbered right down to the final day. Michael, God’s anointed prince, is set to guarantee perfect fulfillment. “For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven” (Psalm 119:89). Michael is keeping the clock.

As the triumph of the seven years of judgment and redemption is finished, an angel descends to lay hold on the devil and to place him in the bottomless pit and lock him up for a thousand years. “And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season” (Revelation 20:1-3).

God’s angels, mighty in power, are going to be deeply involved in the coming end times. Jerusalem will not be forgotten as all the proceedings of the Book of Revelation transpire. Once the earth is redeemed, then Israel will be gathered for the last time. Jesus, Himself, set forth this assurance. “Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four wind s, from one end of heaven to the other” (Matthew 24:29-31).

It is time to be sensitive to the Heavenly Host of angels, which will act for the Lord Himself in defense of all that must occur to finish His work and establish His kingdom on this earth.

America Is In A Dark Crisis

Have we passed the point of no return? Of all the wild and un-American things the President Obama is doing, nothing matches his disregard for the Bible, Morality and Jerusalem. There are four key things we discuss in this broadcast. 1. The Islamic world has millions of radicals that are bent on destroying Israel and America. They will not be deterred by diplomatic maneuvering. This is an issue of there Koran and our Bible. 2. The Word of God is infallible and Homosexuality and Lesbianism are destroying acts of sin. This lifestyle will destroy any nation that allows there conduct to go unpunished. 3. Jerusalem is God’s city. It is soon to be the Capitol of a Holy Worldwide Kingdom of Jesus Christ. To suggest giving that city to anyone but Jews and Christians is blasphemy. 4. Obama really stepped over the line when he proposed to go into our classrooms with his cult-like demeanor and think to seduce out children into his camp. Hitler did that but he had already stolen the heart of the nation. Please send your questions or comments to jrc@pawcreek.org.

Receive You The Holy Ghost

Friday, September 4th, 2009

The Believers of American churches and the churches of our world are desperate for a fresh Baptism of the Holy Ghost. The facade that is witnessed in the apostate churches that have left holiness and separation from the world is a joke. The devil laughs at the emotional atmosphere that is utterly without life changing powers. When people talk of great church services that is nothing but sight, sound and sensation we show how ignorant of Scripture we have become. Our God hates a mixture of flesh and what we call Spirit. The Holy Ghost witnessed years ago when Pentecost was real that a great facade would come and that it would affect the church world and rob the power. But it was witnessed by the Holy Ghost that after that false anointing came and wore itself out that the God of Grace would reveal Himself in a fresh visitation. I believe that visitation is close at hand. "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:" Acts 2: 17-18 It may well be at the door.
