This Earth is the Lord’s

If you do not know the Bible, watching the present grab for Government control of our lives is scary. Every action of the developing One World Order is a timetable to the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. The Millennium Kingdom has been on God’s calendar from eternity. It’s thrilling to look over the shoulder of President Obama and see the future. The hatred for Biblical Christianity is a perfect sign of Satan’s misjudgment.

Read carefully what the Spirit spoke through the pen of King David, “The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands (truths) asunder and cast away their cords (restraints) from us” (Psalm 2:2-3). Every great idea of Biblical truth must be destroyed in the minds of our world leaders. They are perfectly ready to use religion, as long as it is not restrictive religion. It must be void of absolutes and willing to play by their rules. This kind of apostasy already dominates the church world.

The prevailing mindset of world leaders is a level of control on everyone that seems utterly foolish. Why would government leaders want to decide our health issues and control a system of medical care that cannot fail to bankrupt our economy? Why would they put microchips in garbage containers to keep tabs on our commitment to their recycling agenda? Recently, a thief broke into my home and set it on fire. Then, a government employee came to find out if my house was being repaired properly. Because I ran him off, they sent me a summons to appear before a board to answer for my actions. I refused to appear and, finally, they disappeared after I called a former city councilman that they did not like. Control is the coming order of the Antichrist.

But, our sights are set on what follows. After making the above statement, King David continued, “He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure” (Psalm 2:4-5). In this prophetic picture the Spirit continues to show the Lord Jesus exalted in the heavens and awaiting His ordained time to possess this earth. The Spirit said, “Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee” (Psalm 2:6-7). This picture of His exaltation after His resurrection is breathtaking. He is now reigning over His church and, behind the scenes, over the kings and rulers of this world. He is soon to appear and set up His kingdom.

Then, the Father speaks of His promise to His exalted Son, “Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel” (Psalm 2:8-9). The hour is near, although no one can set the date, when the final events will occur to prepare for His one thousand years of peace! The earth is the Lord’s and He will not need a recycling program to restore all things.

After the Rapture, the War of Gog and Magog, and the seven years of the Great Tribulation; this earth will have returned to its pristine beauty. The exact timetable of the cleansing of the earth is not clear. But, we know that, between the Rapture and His return to Jerusalem to reign, everything will be put in order. By the Spirit Apostle Peter wrote, “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat” (II Peter 3:10-12).

Wickedness is on a short leash. All the plans and schemes of our Christ-rejecting world is nothing but insanity. Never has the stage been so perfectly set for the final dramas. Human egos are on a path to their own destruction. This earth is the Lord’s. He has a perfect plan that includes His saints. When the Rapture occurs, we that walk with Him on this earth will move right up into the stratosphere and enter the Celestial City of Heavenly Jerusalem. David spoke of ivory palaces that line the streets. The greatest sight will be the Temple of God of which Solomon’s temple was but a shadow.

Then, when God’s reclaiming plan is finished, we will return with Christ to share the Lordship of His perfect universe. “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies (the raptured saints) which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS” (Revelation 19:11-14, 16). Our future is star-studded!!

  1. it is beyond frightful to read about this house break in. you guys stay safe and take measures to protect yourselves, love and prayers from the northeast! LP

  2. Thank you so much Joseph… My reading of this kept speeding up as I got more and more excited as I read. We are close. When I read “And I saw heaven opened… I began to bathe in the peace of the Holy Spirit. Savoring every word. The excitement and anticipation is so energetic… Can’t wait till we are fully in His presence. A few minutes will be indescribably wonderful, but we have forever to enjoy Him.

  3. This is awesome!! It is as if we are watching a play unfold before our eyes the greatest Mystery ever told. As I read the story of Ruth this weekend with it being Shavuot/Pentecost, gleaning the fields and how they sorted the wheat from the chaff. It is being done now… sorting those who will follow Him verses those who will follow the world (chaff) And soon this chaff is going to be burnt up and gone. It is awesome watching His Word being fulfilled before our eyes. Hallelujah!!

    Dear Pastor Chambers,

Greetings in Christ, and I pray you are well.

    Just a quick note:
Romans 13:1-7 “Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.
2 Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.
    3 For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good and you will have praise from the same;
4 for it is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices evil.
5 Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of wrath, but also for conscience’ sake.
6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing.
7 Render to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom ; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor.”

    See also 1 Pe 2:19-25; 3:13-18; 4:12-19; Mt 22:17-22; 17:24-27

The point is, we need to be walking in obedience to the government, unless the government clearly goes against Scripture – we must obey God rather than man(Ac 4:18-22, 29-31; 5:29; Da 6:4-10; Ex 1:15-17).

I believe Christians should be model citizens, and should have complete transparency. Frankly, your “running off” a government employee who is concerned about your safety is unChristlike behavior. Furthermore, your refusing to obey the government summons leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Is this letting your light shine? Would Christ have done that?

I pray that those government workers would be saved, despite your rude behavior. Perhaps the next time the government workers come to your house, you could welcome them warmly, serve them something to eat and drink, and open your books to show that everything is being done according to the government’s laws. You have nothing to hide, right? Next time, please show them that you are indeed a pillar of the community, a man of integrity, who loves God rather than mammon, who upholds the laws of the land unless they are in clear violation of Scripture. Please show us a verse that says we are to run off government workers who are inspecting buildings, and refuse to appear before the court. Peter appeared before the Sanhedrin, and used the opportunity to preach the gospel(Ac 4 and 5). Paul also took advantage of every opportunity to preach the gospel before various officials(Ac 23; 24; 25; 26), and even preached on the boat in Ac 27, on Malta in Ac 28, and to whoever would listen in Ac 28:30-31.

    God bless you.

Your brother in Christ – and a fellow imperfect sinner saved by grace through faith in Christ – may His name be forever praised,

  5. Hi Pastor Chambers,
Thanks for the good Word and the encouragement to focus our vision forward inspite of the prideful efforts of man and government. Thanks for being willing to speak on the Lord’s behalf and represent him, not that he needs us to speak for Him for he surely will let all of us know soon enough of his great power and his steady reign in all the universe. I’m sorry for the rebuke you took from Stephen who chose to unlease his tongue (or typing) on you. Sometimes we just can’t help ourselves. I only felt led to write because I was a little surprised that someone would be so harsh just because you took offense at the government wanting to come into your home and direct how your repairs were done. I thank you for your honest report on how you reacted. I didn’t read any unchristian behavior in what you wrote. Maybe I’m just not as discerning as others.
May the Lord continue to bless your study time and insight.
