The Holy Ghost Reveals Jesus As Lord

Every expression or manifestation of the Holy Ghost is to declare that Jesus Christ is Lord. Any religious activity or emotion that is not centered in the exalted Son of God is nothing but noise. We live in a shallow day when men are satisfied to be religious without surrender. The last Church Age presented in Revelation is the Church of Laodicea. The very picture of this church is of lukewarm people that are selfish and noisy but frigid in their walk of faith. Listen to the Spirit, “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see” (Revelation 3:15-18). In this message I’m calling His people back to a spiritual life. We must learn to pray until there is an anointing from God on our praying. Even singing must move from performance to worship and spiritual life. When the singer/singers are touched by the sweet Spirit of God and exalt Jesus alone, something beautiful happens in the House of God. Of course, our witnessing, preaching, Bible studying, and everything that is powerful must be powerful by the Holy Spirit. He glorifies no one and nothing but the Lord Jesus Christ.

  1. Hello Pastor Joseph.

In Numbers 35:30, Deuteronomy 17:6, Matthew 18:16 and we see that the Biblical standard for valid testimony even in civil matters required two or three witnesses. Isn’t it interesting that since the Trinity represents God in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, this qualification is also fulfilled since each person of the Trinity bears witness to the other two?

Recall that at Jesus’ baptism by John, we see the simultaneous physical manifestation of each. After Jesus is baptized, the Holy Spirit appears as a dove descending upon him, and the Father’s voice affirms that Jesus is his Son.
Here is an unmistakable example of this very thing.

The problem with much of the church today as I see it is that the Holy Spirit is no longer welcome and as such these places are nothing else but social clubs – having a form of godliness only but no real substance or life.

  2. I’m thankful that I have been sealed by the Holy Ghost and that God lives within me. I have a restored relationship with God because I have received the Lord Jesus Christ into my heart and have been born again. I can go to the Lord at any time and place to pray. Romans 12:12 tells us that we are to continue “instant in prayer”, persistently, earnestly. It seems to me we already have the anointing for prayer, when we are born again and in relationship with God.
