The Holy Ghost And Strange Fire
The greatest imitation of church history is literally flooding the world. The church world is under attack by spirits, dark fallen spirits that are better understood as voodoo spirits. I just returned from Haiti and saw a women in our revival service on Wednesday evening fall under a voodoo attack. She began to gyrate like some strange force had taken her captive and she pulsated on the floor. Thank God for the anointing that breaks that kind of evil spirits. After the spirit or spirits were cast out, she stood at my instruction in Jesus’ name and began to praise the Lord. She started singing the same song as the singers in a beautiful voice. Her face lit up in the joy of the Lord. It is amazing that the same Voodoo spirit is falling on people all over the church world and they are calling it the Holy Ghost. All that is needed is to study the Bible, discern those things that are contrary to Scripture, and call them what they are. I have been a Pentecostal for fifty-eight years and have seen the real so often that this false manifestation is sickening. Through the years, great people of God called it what it was. Then, they would cast the devil out. Satan’s greatest delight is when he can produce a masquerade and convince the people that it’s real. That’s where the majority of the church is today. Why has this happened? Because the ministers do not pray before God until they hear from Him. Often, the new idea is “the means justifies the end.” Too many ministers will do almost anything today to get a crowd. Growth is more important then truth.

I agree with the sermon and know first hand that satan is masquerading his antichrist spirit as the real thing when it is not. When Todd Bentley said that the Holy Ghost told him to kick that old lady in the face with his bikker boots, the congregation all laughed. It was no laughing matter to me, it was Blasphemy of the Holy Ghost.
From the Toronto Blessing and Howard Brown came “Holy Laughter” which is not of God and the people accepted it as the real thing, which it wasn’t.

There was a small church down the street where I lived as a young person that had a lot of
screaming and I was told that people acted in wierd manner. I grew up in the Baptist church
which some people said was too quiet. Give me too quiet over false.

I agree. But not enough churches are rising up against tongues etc. It clearly says in the bible that tongues will cease. And they did around before 70 AD. False tongues began with a woman
with a fever. She babbled and the minister thought it was tongues. That’s how it began again.
Now since they require you to talk in tongues as evidence that your salvation they can be
classified as a cult because they are adding to salvation by grace through faith plus tongues.

My aunt in south australia told me that they can hardly walk into their church with out falling over…she thinks this is the Holy Spirit…so sad ….but is not interested in the Truth she is totally convinced that it is of the Lord…..

i remember reading in Pastor J.K.van Baalen’s 1967″The Chaos Of Cults” about some Oxford
intellectuals claiming Evangelical beliefs,called The Buchman Group who later gave rise
to the Moral Re-Armament(MRA)movement. However their professing to follow strictly THE
GUIDANCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT makes a mockery of Bible Teaching. For instance each morning,
they declare waiting For THE HOLY SPIRIT INSPIRATION,before deciding what they’ll have
for breakfast. It’d be funny if it’s not so blasphemous. Unfortunately,later i encountered
in my church the same kind of teaching. It went something like this: if before doing anything,
even a good thing like helping someone who needs immediate assistance,you wait for
INSPIRATION FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT to do or not to do it, you will never fail and will go on
living a constantly victorious spiritual life. It seemed to me too good to be true,especially
when the ostensible goal was “To Never Fail”. However i didn’t voice my objections,but didn’t
join either; and got quietly isolated and ostracized.
One of the Most Comforting Teachings About THE HOLY SPIRIT Is In Zech iv:6 “Not by might,nor
by power,but my spirit,saith the Lord of hosts.” For were it by might or by power alone, we
would be destroyed Without THE GENTLE SPIRIT OF THE LORD WHO CAN BE GRIEVED. By those puny
but wicked creatures who are us.
On the other hand, the prince of this world would be an incompetent deceiver were he not
able to make the lethality of his counterfeit in reverse proportion with its falsity.
The more truthful the lie looks, the deadlier it gets.

Kim, That is a sharp misinterpretation of Scripture. The Scripture they use is in I Cor, 13-8. We want need the gifts in the eternal future because we will have glorified bodies. Today we still need the Supernatural powers of God. If there interpretation was correct then knowledge has pasted away too. No! No!

The Church Had Become Stronger and Less in need of Those Gifts. Miracles Were Wrought
By Faithful Prayers instead of Through Holy Men With Powers.
The Definition of “Charismatic Gifts” Is Of Gifts That, Although GIVEN BY THE HOLY SPIRIT,
Are No Guarantee Of Sanctification of The Recipient and Wielder Of The Power Brought About
By Those Gifts. The Charisma Is Not our own But GOD’S. The Recipient’ s Responsibility is
a Daunting One and carries with It Awful Penalties in case of misuse and abuse.
Perhaps The Case is covered In Matthew vii: 15-23.
We can liken The Charismatic Gifts with an analogy from the world:
the policeman’ s uniform, badge and weapon are the symbols of the authority conferred
to him from above ( And Ultimately From GOD ) in order for him to do his work which is to
enforce the law ( A Reflection Of GOD’S LAW ). But in the course of his work,
the law-enforcer becomes the law-breaker and that, with the authority of someone else above
him. What dreadful penalty do we think will befall him ?

I was at a meeting in FL out of curiosity that focused on casting out demons.I didnt see that occur but the minister had a prayer line which quickly formed after his invitation and was interested in seeing people delivered.What I saw disapointed me because the people that were in line were very casual in their waiting to be prayed for,as they were having conversations with each other like they had done this many times before and it appeared they were there for an emotional fix.My question is isnt the finished work of Yeshua enough?The Lord has been teaching me that we need to continously teach the finished work that completes us as being more than conqerors thru Yeshuas putting his foot on satans neck and to appropriate it personally.Lets focus on him and his victory and not be drawn to a mere man and his manipulations.It is so clear to me now what Paul meant when he said “I am determined to only know Christ and him crucified among you”

I think that some are not understanding the article correctly. Pastor Chambers is not coming against the REAL moving of the Holy Ghost. There is a real manifestation where believers are slain in the Spirit, dance in the Spirit, and run in the Spirit. When you study the Bible correctly, tongues did not cease and they certainly did not start by a woman with a fever. There is a real manifestation and you can certainly see and feel the difference.

I too have encounter pastors and leaders more interest in the money or pleasing the people then the truth my Father in Heaven is very displease with the house of Faith, or should I say a den of theifs, pray all for them and stand up for the truth for it always wins in the end. SATAN IS REAL BUT HE IS LIMITED BY GOD AND GOD HAS GIVEN US ATTORNEY TO STOP HIM. tRUST IN gOD AND NOT IN YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING. I WILL BE PRAYING FOR THE BODY JOIN ME.
