THE ETERNAL BIBLE: VISIBLE IN HEAVEN AFTER THE RAPTURE

THE BLESSINGS FROM YOUR BIBLE ARE SUPERNATURAL AND LIFE CHANGING. The Holy Bible is an eternal book and the Heavenly copy will be visible to all the saints after the Rapture. Believe me, I am not crazy. John the Revelator saw this unchanging copy in THE HEAVENLY TEMPLE as he beheld the concluding scene of the seven years of the Great Judgment. John said “And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ARK OF HIS TESTAMENT”: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail”. (Revelation 11:19)

The “Ark of His Covenant” that was given to Moses and which Israel will discover after the Rapture is an earthly copy of the Heavenly Ark. It is apparent that this Heavenly Ark is the location where the Eternal Copy of the Word of God is preserved. For John to see this “Ark of His Testament” near the end of God’s judgment is a breathtaking revelation. John adds to this above scene additional proof of this revelation: “And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened…” (Revelation 15:5) He then saw seven angels come out of the temple dressed in priestly attire ready to judge the antichrist’s crowd with their final judgment. The Great Tribulation is almost complete at this moment in the End Times.

To think of the Bible as we should, an eternal book, unchanging and infallible, is life inspiring. Such a Bible as we have will birth a revival of God’s Shekinah glory–when it is proclaimed undiluted. The Psalmist David had the first portions of the Bible when he was used by the Holy Ghost to write his great Book of Psalms. By the Holy Ghost he stated, “For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.” (Psalm 119:89) Notice the Spirit said, “In heaven”—where John saw the “Ark of His Testament.”

Religious people, both ministers and church leaders erroneously speak of the Bible as only infallible in the original manuscripts as penned by the authors. The Holy Ghost settled this issue when David was under God’s anointing. The Spirit said, “The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.” (Psalm 12:6-7) The Bible has been tampered with multiple times, but the true and unfailing Holy Bible is still available. The Holy Ghost said He would preserve it forever, and “forever” is not over.

God’s Holy Bible is a supernatural book, and it is full of life and power. The Son of God put great emphasis on the authority and quickening powers of His words. He said,“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” (St John 6:63) Luke reported the words of Christ as saying, “It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.” (St. Luke 4:4) There is inherent power in every word of the Holy Bible, but only by the Holy Ghost can those words come alive. Once the Spirit touches you in your prayer time or once a servant of God gets anointed by the Holy Ghost, the Bible becomes dynamic.

Black ink on white paper is beautiful when you hold the Word of God in your hands. But it is a different beauty when the very author of every word, the sovereign power that touched every writer, now touches the reader or hearer and makes it alive. I have shouted and wept, or shouted while weeping, as this Book has blessed my spirit with the Holy Ghost life. Much of this church world has never had an experience with the Book catching on fire right in their hands. That is exactly what Jesus meant when He said, “the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” (St. John 6:63b)

God, the Holy Ghost, does nothing in the Kingdom except by the Holy Bible. The apostle Paul was teaching the church of Ephesus about this warfare of the Christian life. He warned them of the helplessness of flesh but taught them of the armor for the battle. He stated, “And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” (Ephesians 6:17) He then coupled that with “praying in the Holy Ghost.” (Ephesians 6:18) That’s praying in God’s language, which Satan cannot learn.

One of the great lessons Jesus taught His disciples and all of us was in the Sermon on the Mount. He settled the issue of the Bible being a perfect whole. Ignorance of how the Bible came to us has caused many to discard the first half of the Bible as outdated and discarded. The Son of God was plain to debunk such thinking when he declared: “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (St. Matthew 5:17-19)

The great text of Scripture from Genesis to Malachi was sealed by blood sacrifices which were all a type of the coming Messiah or Christ. He completed those sacrifices and gave us the finished Testament or Bible. That’s why the writer John saw one Testament in the ark and not two.

The early church preached and taught nothing but what was written in the Bible as they knew and loved it. As the New Testament was penned it was loaded with quotes, principles, and great doctrines that came directly out of the Law, Prophets, and the history of the children of Israel. Every sacrifice of blood and all the temple activities and ceremonies are complete in Jesus Christ. We now worship in Spirit and Truth, while they worshipped in ceremonies and celebrations. The Bible is one book “Forever… settled in heaven.” (Psalm 119:89b) When we stand before the Judgment of Christ, it will be the Bible, not the NIV or some other spurious or questionable version, by which we will be judged.

  1. The Ark of the Covenant did not contain a Bible. The contents were the 2 stone tablets written with God’s own finger, preserving His ten commandments … which the Biblical ‘church’ does not keep.

  2. Dear Judy,

I’m sorry that you completely misunderstood my article. The Ten Commandments were in the “Ark Of The Covenant”, but the “Ark Of The Testament” is where the “Testament” is located. In Heaven is the perfect original Ark in God’s eternal Temple. Everything in the Tabernacle or the Temple of Solomon was a copy of the Heavenly. That’s the Ark that John saw in his vision and it is where he saw the Testament. I’m sure there are other interpretations of this scripture but I believe as I stated, without criticism of other views.

    Blessings!!!!!!!!!!
    Joseph

  3. The Bible present in the Ark of the Covenant in heaven – what a neat idea! I never considered this before, but it certainly makes sense. Added to this is that in our glorified bodies, we will no doubt finally be capable of understanding it in its fullness. I’m looking forward to that!

Now, one point I would like to make is that I do not believe such a perfect copy exists with us presently. Before some people take me to task, let me say that faithful English versions rendered from the original manuscripts contain NO FUNDAMENTAL ERRORS! I believe the King James Version is the best of these, but even here we must take into account the drift of meaning of certain words of the Elizabethan times to the present. For instance, the word “let” as seen below:

2 Thessalonians 2:6-8) And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth [will let,] until he be
taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.

    Here is another:

1 Thessalonians 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive [and]
remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

The word “prevent” above means to “precede” instead of “stop from happening” as is does for us today.

There are also words that do not translate completely from Hebrew, Aramaic, or Greek into English, and this should be considered as well. That’s why a concordance which features dictionaries to explain the original terms really is a great help.

To conclude, though no English translation is “perfect,” one such as the KJV is of such quality and integrity that one certainly can’t go wrong to rely on it.

What is important is to read – and believe it!

“Let” today means “to allow.” “Let” in the passage above means to “restrain.”

  4. Ed,

I understand where you are coming from brother, however with the Bible being infallible and “not one jot or tittle” to pass away, and every word preserved by God Himself, without a doubt we do have the perfect book, the perfect Word, in our hands via the precious King James. Those words that you dealt with in your post, to the world may seem to not make sense and may throw doubt as to why the translators chose certain words, but to the born again Christian those words are beautifully used as it is the Spirit of the Living God that reveals every word to us in perfect meaning and harmony with one another. God doesn’t settle for less than perfect, especially when it comes to His Word and His promises to preserve every Word. And if we are to live by every word of God, I know God is faithful to preserve His every perfect word for our life.

As you said though, what is important is to read, and believe it! And I say AMEN!!

Grace be unto you! In love,

    Travis

  5. Note to Travis.

Thanks very much for your gracious comments. Actually with the examples I gave, the translators did use the English words which were definitely correct in their day, but whose meaning has changed in the past 400 years. This was not intended as a criticism of those translators, but to show that because English is a “living language,” unlike Latin, it is subject to change and that’s why I strongly recommended a concordance with dictionaries so we can recapture the original meanings that the translators intended to convey.

I certainly agree with you that the King James Version is the absolute best English translation and I always sense God’s hand in its creation. That’s not very “scientific,” so for those who want a more tangible reason, there is the provable fact that the KJV went back to the original Hebrew and Aramaic manuscripts for the Old Testament, and the Greek for the New Testament. It is not, as some English translations are, an English translation from the Vulgate which itself is a Latin translation from the ancient Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek, nor is it an English translation of the Greek Septuagint, again which came from the original Hebrew and Aramaic. In other words, the KJV is a more direct translation, and, in my opinion therefore more accurate, that these other two.

Of course, I also believe that God intended that through the ages the essentials of his Word would remain intact for us to have in our hands today, the KJV very much the prime English example of this.

It is important to remember that though we do not have the original documents for the Old or New Testaments, the quality and number of the copies and commentaries on them so greatly exceed the volume of any other historic writings that I am confident that we are still privy to an exceedingly faithful version of God’s Word in King James.

Another point is to understand our own intellectual limitations, as Paul so wisely observed:

1 Corinthians 13:9 – 13:13 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spake as a
child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these [is] charity.

One day, all our questions will be answered in ways I believe we cannot even imagine.
I am really looking forward to that but until then, I am forever grateful that God has seen fit to make sure everything we need for salvation is there and indisputable is still there for us these thousands of years later.

Thanks again for your comments and excellent demonstration of your lively faith!

  6. 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. 19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.

  7. The ark of old had a mercy seat on it, without which no man could access the perfect law of God. Today, we come boldly to the throne of grace. By the invitation of Jesus, the author and finsher. Excellent articule.
