The Divine Blood: “Awesome Powers”(Salty Saints)

JESUS CHRIST HAS NOT ALREADY FORGIVEN OUR FUTURE SINS IN ADVANCE. HE FORGIVES AND CLEANSES THEM WHEN WE REPENT AND CONFESS THEM. THE LIFE OF THE FLESH IS IN HUMAN BLOOD AND THE LIFE OF GOD’S KINGDOM (In the present!) IS IN CHRIST’S DIVINE BLOOD. This Blood of Jesus Christ is just as SUPERNATURAL to save and deliver from sin TODAY as it was when it dripped from His Sacred, Crucified BODY. His Blood was Divine Blood that cannot corrupt or die. The Son Of God ascended the morning of His Resurrection to present the Holy and Acceptable Sacrifice of Divine Blood in the Heavenly Temple. He could not allow Mary Magdelene to touch Him until the Spotless Sacrifice had entered the “HOLY OF HOLIES”. “Jesus saith unto her, ‘Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.'” (John 20:17) He then returned to earth for forty days to reveal His “Firstfruits Resurrection” and to direct them to wait for the promise of the Holy Ghost.

The present priestly ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ within the Heavenly Temple has continued uninterrupted from the time of His ascension. That Temple in Heaven, of which the Temple of Solomon was but a shadow, is impossible to comprehend.. The book of Hebrews records the setting of this Temple in the Holy Mountain of God on the sides of the North. “Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.” (Hebrews 8:1-2) It is an incredible stretch of our mind to grasp even a little of the glory in His Heavenly Temple. Maybe if we try to grasp the glory of Solomon’s Temple, and then compare the earthly in its limited form with the unlimited of the Heavenly, we can get just a glimpse.

Solomon’s Temple was a magnificent structure. It was a perfect pattern or likeness of the Heavenly, but on a human scale. The Word says, “Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the Tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.” (Hebrews 8:5) The gold and silver in the wilderness Tabernacle was valued in today’s world at thirteen billion dollars. All of that wealth, added to the additional gold and silver in the Temple of Solomon, brings the value to fifty-six billion dollars in gold and silver alone. It took one hundred eighty-three thousand six hundred workers seven and one-half years to build and finish this Temple complex. The ultimate cost and worth in today’s financial climate is over one and one-half trillion dollars, or fifteen hundred billion dollars. According to 2 Chronicles, this Temple was approximately twenty stories tall with massive pillars; everything of the exterior and interior was covered with pure gold. There has never been a Temple to a god or a building built by men to match this Temple to the great God of the Jewish and Christian world.

It was built after the very pattern of the Temple in Heavenly Jerusalem. King David received the architectural plan for the entire Temple and complex from the Spirit of God. Scripture states, “Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch, and of the houses thereof, and of the treasuries thereof, and of the upper chambers thereof, and of the inner parlours thereof, and of the place of the mercy seat, And the pattern of all that he had by the Spirit, of the courts of the house of the LORD, and of all the chambers round about, of the treasuries of the house of God, and of the treasuries of the dedicated things.” (2 Chronicles 28:11-12) The Temple structure and its complex was of great hewn stones prepared in the underground quarries without a hammer sounding in the Temple area. Massive amounts of wood – olive, fir, cedar, and algum – were prepared by workers of Tyre commissioned by Huram, their king, cut from the forest of Lebanon and brought by ships to Joppa. A great number of workers from Tyre, “…skilful to work in gold, and in silver, in brass, in iron, in stone, and in timber, in purple, in blue, and in fine linen, and in crimson; also to grave any manner of graving, and to find out every device…” (2 Chronicles 2:14b) were assigned by King Huram to assist Solomon and his great army of workers. All of this massive plan, along with the exterior and interior design, was a copy from Heaven of the temple of our eternal God. Great cherubims were engraved on the walls and standing cherubims were engraved to overshadow the sacred Ark of the Covenant where the glory of God was manifest.

Now, we return our minds to the Temple where Jesus Christ is the High Priest at this very moment. All that we learn of Solomon’s Temple and the great complex to house thousands of priests that ministered in the Temple, the art of the apothecary, sweet singers, great trumpeters, and all manner of musical instruments, plus many other functions of the priestly offices, was but a shadow of the Heavenly. Jesus Christ is called “the Lord of hosts” or “the Lord of Sabaoth”.(Hebrews 8:29) Because the Heavenly Temple and all of the great spiritual activities in that Temple are at His bidding as well as all the angels, His Name is above all names.

The Heavenly Temple is the center of the Shekinah presence. The great choir is producing tunes of music that would overwhelm a human mind. The Heavenly orchestra has mastered tones or sounds that cannot be imagined. But the center of this Heavenly temple is the “Mediator” appointed by His Heavenly Father. His purpose is redemption, and the family of saints are forever on His mind. The idea of Mediator is two-fold. One of the great meanings of mediator is internunciator. He does not just talk to God in our defense; He talks to us in God’s defense. The Father’s will is known by the saints because the Lord of the church is Master in our lives. If we do not hear and listen as He talks to us for the Father, we cannot expect Him to intercede to the Father on our behalf. This is a covenant relationship.

The blood on the altar in the Holy of Holies is Divine blood offered by the sinless Son of God. The Word says, “But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” (Hebrews 9:11-12) This High Priest is the Eternal Son, the Word of God, the Virgin Born, the Sinless Son of Man, the Miracle Worker, the Willing Sacrifice, the Captive Deliverer, the Death Destroyer. He turned hell on its head, He served notice on the devil, He emptied His own tomb, He scattered the Roman guards, He ripped hell out of death, He arose triumphantly, He defied nature, He ascended to God His Father, and He took over as High Priest of His Father’s Temple. He has established a new covenant out of the old order. He put Solomon’s Temple and all that followed it out of business.

The authority and power of the Blood sacrifice is unmatched on the face of the earth. It breaks all barriers of Satan against a believng Saint. Our full confidences for living this Christian life must be the GRACE of God that is manifest by the Blood sacrifice. Living a Godly life is imperitive but there is no GRACE of Holiness that flows from our good works. The Blood alone enpowers GRACE to present Godliness to our world. This is the balance between good works and GRACE. They are inseperatable when we understand the Biblical balance.

The Blood of Jesus Christ is dynamic Blood that is active in the present not just at the cross or in the past.. To try to claim that the Blood did all its supernatural action in the past and is now academic is false. He did not cleanse our future sins in the yesteryear so that we can now sin without consequence. The sacrifice was complete but the dynamics of His Blood is forever. That Blood was eternal and Divine and is just as powerful today as ever. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)

There are thelogical systems that want to eliminate experiences of salavation. They want to make it “Positional” instead of an “Experience”. Such a system in only in the head without a heart. It is dead religion and leaves the soul empty of a living relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is in His Temple in the Heavenly city and is now pouring forth GRACE upon the hungry soul. Christianty that is only interllectual is far from the mighty working of God’s Holy Spirit.

The Jewish religion became dead academics and they rejected Jesus Christ when He walked among them. The Catholic systrem died spiritually in the early centuries and then martyred millions of Godly saints because they rejected the false Vicar called the Pope. We have dead religious systems in the Evangetical world and they are creating a false Emergent church that will miss the Rapture. All of this happens when the church makes religion an academic affair instead of a “Living Relationship with a Risen Lord”.

The Mighty Blood is in His Heavenly “HOLY OF HOLIES” and it is still supernatural to save. Put your Academic religion on a shelf and get into the Infallible WORD OF GOD. I have seen depleted acoholics open a Bible and read with one passion, “I WANT TO SEE JESUS” and be totally traniformed to become a new dynamic Christian. The Blood of Jesus Christ is a present supernatural power that will make a new creature out of you. That same Blood will break all powers of sin, defeat Satan at every turn in your life and you will have joy unspeakable. There will be tribulations and temptations but the Blood will open the door of prayer and victory. ” Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,” (Hebrews 10:19)

  1. If Christ did not forgive you of your sins (past and future) when you recieved Him and were saved then you are in trouble and could never be saved in the end. Of course the security of he believer does not give you a license to sin but when Christ said that He gave me eternal life I believe exactly what He said.

    Brother Bill,

  2. To people who are luke warm (considered saved)? you will make God spew you out of His mouth and if your not heaven material than that don’t leave but one other place.

Now to become luke warm you have first got to be saved right? well if your sins are forgiven “future” how does one get spewed out of Gods mouth.

Brother Chambers Hold fast, you are far and few between in your stand on the scriptures.

  3. Very interesting Brother Chambers,
I always enjoy your teaching and read it first thing in the morning in my quiet time.
We are going to the Babtist Church but i also go to a small Catholic Charismatic fellowship only about 10 of us but there is so much Love there which I havn’t found anywhere else.
I liked the eye opener of Jewish,Catholics and Evangelicals in your last article.Certainly only a personal Relationship with Jesus is the real thig.
    Bless you Brother
    Walter

  4. Dear Pastor,

Washed in the Blood of Jesus, and washing our hearts and minds with the Word to regenerate us. My prayers for you continue every day, as well as the Brethren.

Marvellous article. The reason Mary M. could not touch Jesus, now we can fall at his feet.

    God Bless

  5. If Jesus is the Lord of Sabbath ,, and God Commanded man to KEEP it Holy
,, why did the Roman Empire change it to another day, honoring a Greek “Sun” god (SUNday)
who was celebrated on Dec 25th ? The number SEVEN represents the Millinial period
and has meaning in Hebrew: Shalom – Completeness – Nothing Lacking – God WITH Us.
God made the seventh day Holy. The ‘church’ ignores that. WHY?

  6. Dear Pastor Chambers,
It is interesting how we can interpret the bible by snatching verses here and there.
If christ did not do a complete work on the cross why then did He say it is “Finished”.
If all my sins are not forgiven once and for all does it mean I go to hell if I have unconfessed sin when I die. I am sorry I cannot agree with you – the reason we confess our sins is to acknowledge the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross 2000 years ago to pay for all my sins past prsent and future. Please do not be like the Pharisees that wanted to place burdens on peoples shoulders that they themselves could not carry and it took a 12 year old boy named Jesus to show them that they were wrong.
Please also delete me from your mailing list thank you

  7. Thank you Brother for this wonderful message.
It blows the mind to think of the present position of Our
Saviour and Lord as He intercedes for us.
I do so agree with you in the matter of forgiveness
when we repent and ask forgiveness. This is a solid principle.
I believe that this principle applies in our relationship
with others. We must forgive is we are asked by those that
    ‘trespass against us’.

  8. Let’s see – two ascensions . . . one just after encopuntering Mary Magdalene and before appearing to his disciples, and, of course, the one from the Mount of Olives forty days later. It would seem to explain his enigmatic statement to Mary, wouldn’t it? I will definitely have to give this some thought, Pastor Joseph. Very intriguing!

You are absolutely right about a person’s acceptance of Jesus not automatically covering future sins. Just as the verse from 1 John 1:9 that you cited, our confession of sin must be an on-going process every day. Not the “one confession, one time takes care of our sin forever” concept which I do not believe is Scriptural.

    Think about it.

That would be like me paying a speeding ticket TODAY for the speeding I intend to do . . . TOMORROW! Pretty silly when put in those terms, isn’t it?

  9. Note to Judy:

Jesus rose on the first day of the week – Sunday. (John 20:1)

Likewise his followers gathered to “break bread” (very possibly including or even exclusively performing the remembrance of the Last Supper) on the first day of the week – Sunday. (Acts 20:7)

Indeed, Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath, as you said. If he had desired the Sabbath to remain of the seventh day instead of the first, I believe he would have timed the Resurrection to have occurred on Saturday.

But as we have seen, he did not.

The New Covenant takes precedence over the Old (Hebrews 12:24)

Please also read Galatians and see if this helps!

  10. Brother Chambers, It’s looks like you are saying, if we dont confess our sins daily, then we need to be saved over an over again, We do need a daily cleansing, It’s not to save us, Its the fact
we have a sinful nature, I am sure I sin a lot without even being aware of it, How many of us run off at the mouth, When JESUS CHRIST said let your answer be ( Yea an Nay,~~ We must give an account of ever idel word, Can anyone say Judgement Seat of CHRIST, Lost rewards maybe, we don’t know yet.

  11. SOLOMON’S AND HEROD’S TEMPLES

    Dear Joe Chambers,

I thought Solomon’s Temple was 30 Cubits (45ft) to the roof as some scriptures say, and that the 2 brass pillars were free standing pillars. If there were any highrise buildings in the area, could it be some of those buildings surrounding the central temple? Were there any STEEPLES in the area? Most pictures of Solomon’s temple shows a box-like building with 2 side wings, and free-standing pillars in front of it. If the main temple was a high-rise building with a lot of floors, with the auditorium a the main floor, WHAT WERE THOSE UPPER FLOORS IN THE SKYSCRAPER USED FOR? Was there a tall steeple like you would see on big cathedrals today?

Wasn’t HEROD’S TEMPLE THE BIGGEST ONE THAT THEY EVER HAD. Some even say Herod’s Temple was the fanciest that Israel ever had. Like Solomon’s temple, Herod’s Temple was also covered with gold, That is why the Roman Soldiers pulled it apart and carried away the stones (Jesus said NOT ONE STONE SHOULD BE LEFT UPON ANOTHER). Herod’s Temple was certainly very tall.

Todays Temples; CHURCH BUILDINGS AND CATHEDRALS.

In todays Catholic Churches, Greek Orthodox Churches, Anglican-Episcopal, and other Catholic denominations, The cathedral is DIVIDED INTO 2 SECTIONS, THE AREA WHERE THE PEOPLE SIT, AND THE PRESBYTERY (HOLY OF HOLIES) which is partitioned off from the rest of the church. Only the priests are allowed behind the PARTITION (VEIL). The NATIONAL CATHEDRAL in Washington DC is divided that way. The WESTMINISTER CHURCH in London is divided like that too. SO the Cathedrals are divided the same way that Solomon’s Temple was divided. EVANGELICAL DENOMINATIONS DO NOT HAVE VEIL FENCES, LIKE CATHOLIC DENOMINATIONS DO. The believe in priesthood of believers. IN Protestant Churches the area is used for choir platforms, but does not have veil fences as in Catholic Cathedrals. to exclude commoners.

    Sincerely,

    Keith Black
