The Devil Hates The Coming Rapture

The Devil will do everything in his power to destroy the truth about the Pre-Tribulation Rapture.

His latest deception is the crazy idea that a person can take the Mark of the Beast and still repent and be saved. In other words, if Satan cannot stop you from believing in the Rapture then he will tell you to go ahead and take his mark because God will still forgive you. This is the cruelest lie I can imagine. Can you see that sad soul that tries to save himself from the cruel murder of anyone that refuses the mark, takes it and then discovers he is absolutely consigned to the Lake of Fire?

Do not miss the broadcast this Saturday. We will deal with the antiChrist’s hatred and determination to destroy the truth of the Pre-tribulation Rapture.

We are back at the time of the Rapture and the beginning of the Seven Years of the Great Tribulation. This next presentation of these same seven years deals almost exclusively with the devil, his designs, and his judgments. The Lamb of God and our Heavenly Father were center stage in the previous picture from chapter four verse one to chapter eleven verse nineteen. The Father’s throne was the backdrop and the Lamb of God was the source of all the action. The twenty-four Elders that John saw around the throne presented a picture that symbolizes the multitude of saints raptured up out of a sin-cursed earth that is ripe for judgment. We watched the Lamb open the seven-sealed book and saw its action of judgment. We can clearly say that the Son of God, seen as the Lamb slain, is the Father’s star character for all Seven Years of the Great Tribulation, as viewed in the first story.

Now, we must return to look again at the same seven years. This presentation will focus on the devil getting his hour in the spotlight and his final demise. God the Father always acts with judicial perfection. No man or created being will be judged unfairly. Satan walked into the garden disguised as a beautiful creature and lied and beguiled his way into possession of this created world. He must be judged, but his judgment must be of the order and method that is so complete that there can be no appeal. When this hour is finished, Satan will be seen not by his imitation of beauty but by his evil heart. He will never have a second chance to prove his godhead when this display of his real nature is finished.

This is Satan’s greatest effort to produce a masterpiece of a false godhead or trinity of beings. There have been many such trinities as this in the world of paganism. I have never viewed a pagan temple that did not have three altars. He originally said, “I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.” (Isaiah 14:13-14) He never reached that goal. He tried but failed, and the Son of God saw him fall. Jesus said, “I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.” (Luke 10:18) When the Son of God said “like lightning” He was expressing the intensity of this action. This historic act by the Father was meant to display to the heavenly angels His sovereignty and to make plain the extent of His judgment of Satan and those angels that fell with him. This had to be one of Heaven’s saddest but brightest days. Now, the time has come to conclude the fall of Satan from the proximity of God’s throne to the midair. His next fall is out of the midair down to the earth, followed by judgment from the earth to the bottomless pit, and then out of the bottomless pit to the Lake of Fire for eternity. The present worldwide struggles in the spiritual realm are the pre-war of this coming worldwide war on a scale seen only in the Book of Revelation. It really is a grand scene and will be life changing for this universe.

Nothing in his actions is more visible than his hatred for the coming Rapture of the saints. Satan’s hatred for Godly people is legendary. The removal of God’s people says several things that the antichrist will labor to delay. The saints will be forever beyond his reach. The seed of woman has always presented the greatest challenge to Satan. He remembers too well the words of the Father in the garden after man’s fall. The great Creator spoke to Satan personally,

“And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” (Genesis 3:15) He has already suffered a deadly blow – Calvary and the empty tomb – but His final judgment is at the door.

When Satan sees that raptured throng fly past him upwards through the midair, it will be reckoning day. The raptured saints will be the crowning multitude of the seed of woman. As soon as they pass him in the sky, the angels will prepare for the battle that lands Satan earthbound and unable to ever approach God’s throne again. Satan will be limited to casting blasphemy from the earth to the shouting throng around the Father’s glory. Viewing Satan in this reduced position is one of the remarkable parts of this chapter. Everything he does for the rest of the seven years of the Great Tribulation will be from a limited capacity, and then he will be cast into the bottomless pit.

Look at this breathtaking truth:

“And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.” Revelation 12:1-2

This is going to be one of the greatest moments in the future.

This twelfth chapter or Revelation is the most remarkable picture of the church of Jesus Christ found in the Scripture. John is viewing this church in its two-fold existence: both the organized and compromising church and the remnant church of victory and quiet triumph. Everything in Revelation after chapter four verse one cannot be seen as historic or some event of the past but as future prophecy, beginning with the day of the Rapture and right into the future fulfillment of all things. The promises to the seven churches were stated seven times “to the overcomers.” What is about to happen cannot include anyone but overcomers and cannot exclude even one of these overcomers. A great woman clothed with the sun is the outwardly visible church. She is rich, powerful, dominating, and pregnant with “man child.” The twelve stars in her crown demand that she is either Israel or the church. But she cannot be Israel because Israel is in total unbelief except for a remnant, until the end of the Tribulation Period. There are other proofs in this chapter that this is the church.

  1. I agree that no one that takes the Mark will be saved and I know of no Christian that believes you can be. But If you insist that the rapture will take place before the anti-Christ appears and the rapture comes sometime after he appears as it says in Thessalonians then those Christians will not be prepared.

  2. One way we see that Satan hates the Rapture is the kind of response those who teach this receive for their efforts – much of it from the modern church. It goes beyond the aspect of a basic disagreement of points of view, but often gets very personal. Rapture proponents are often portrayed as some kind of unstable “lunatic fringe,” despite the fact that most present very articulate and well-reasoned arguments to support it. I’ve seen it happen to Pastor Joseph right here at this website and some of the detractors are downright nasty, as if their unpleasantness adds credibility to their arguments!

I’ve studied Bible Prophecy for over a decade and, in my opinion, the Rapture is the best concept which reconciles seemingly contradictory Scriptures and is totally consistent with God’s actions of saving over his own in the dire times of the Old Testament by extraordinary means(rescuing Noah and his family from the Flood, Lot and his family from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, saving the Israelites from the famine in the time of Joseph, and from oppression in Egypt in Moses’ time, etc,). Why should we then doubt that he will soon do the same for his faithful as this world becomes more and more irretrievably evil?

As these last of the Last Days pass, expect to see resistance to the truth of the Rapture increase – because the devil knows his time is short!

  3. Look at this breathtaking truth:

Yep. As the Mother of God, the Blessed Mary will be shown to all men to be the immaculte virgin, chosen by the Father to give birth on earth to the Son, through the power of the Holy Spirit, by whose acceptance of such an august responsibility allowed God to bring about the redemption of all mankind, allowing each person to choose salvation in the name of Jesus.

  4. Why the great tribulation and wrath is not meant for the bride of Christ:
The reason we can know for sure that great tribulation and wrath is not meant for the bride is basic logic. If the bride were in the great tribulation she would NOT take the mark of the beast and that means she would be martyred for her faith. Now if the bride is martyred through the great tribulation then when the LORD comes to rapture someone—who would there be to rapture if the bride is destroyed and gone? This is a lie from the enemy that the bride is meant for wrath. It serves no purpose for the bride to suffer since the LORD paid the bride price to save HIS bride. The rapture is a rescue mission and it is for the bride—the one who is completely surrendered and sold out to CHRIST—the one HE gave HIS all for—no one else. The LORD is looking for a pure bride sold out for HIM. Everyone else is lukewarm and HE says HE will spit out lukewarm followers so HE certainly will not be coming to save the lukewarm followers—the scripture says so. The lukewarm will have to die for their faith as outlined by John in Revelation when he sees the multitude who washes their robes in the blood of Christ by being martyred for refusing the mark of the beast.

  5. Sean!! God has NO mother!!!

If you would ever choose to seek The Truth, then simply REPENT of your sins to God the Father….. this may be doing something “bad” but in many times & cases ~ esp. with those of the rcc… who truly want to serve the Lord yet are deceived, many times it involves of repenting from TRYING to be “too good” ~ and/or from trying to “earn” your way there!! Can’t be done!!

Jesus is the ONLY door into heaven — and anyone who chooses another way — esp. the institution of the church ~ is a THIEF & a ROBBER!!! I could spoon feed & give you Scripture, chapter & verse — let me just say it’s in John in the New Testament — please go to BibleGateway or google if intereseted. Trying to enter “another” way cannot & will not be done!! Thieves & robbers will NOT be allowed into heaven!!

Please ~ your eternal destiny is at stake here!! This is no game. For it is appointed unto man ONCE to die — after that, the judgment, Sean!! No second or third or infinity of chances!! THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS PERGATORY…… your church that you trust in so much is LYING to you.
ONCE!! ~ One chance!! ~ while we are living can we turn to Jesus Who is alone the only way, the truth and the life!! But TODAY is the accepted time of salvation — you could just as easily be killed on the highway this weekend…. and then NO MORE CHANCES!!

I pray you will turn to Him in time!

  6. Dear Pastor

We must understand the urgency of these types of articles, if we were not close to the Tribulation then it would be difficult to back up what is said here. Israel is a nation, people are at each others throat, we are living like it was in the days of NOAH: Buying ,Selling ,Building, Going to and Fro, Violence and very wierd Science’s are now being developed. We are destroying the planet. Yet i hear from most “Not in our lifetime” They go back to being at ease.

Look up for our redemption draws near.

Sean you did well on the first part of your response, cannot find “mother of god” anywhere in my bible, so the second part is hear say on your part. Not sure how any human being (Mary) could answer all those prayers, she never was defined as supernatural. Most times i can’t deal with more than one person at a time. How about you?

    God Bless
    jaimie

Yes Pastor i do have a copy of the Masterpiece ( good book)

  7. Since the rapture concept appeared less than three centuries ago the devil hasn’t been hating it for very long.

Blessed hope or cursed despair? Could the devil know what we know?

    Love from ground zero

  8. Very good jaimie ~ in agreement (on all things you wrote)

Eloyhm & others who flat out DENY the pre-trib rapture…. perhaps there will not be one (FOR YOU!!) As a person believes– be it unto him!!

The rapture “concept” as you so aptly put it is not a made up theory from the 1800s ~ what a LIE!!! Even the Old Testament spoke of it. May those who have ears to hear & eyes to see read Isaiah 26 and pray for God’s wisdom & understanding.

  9. I would like to know if we will be here during any of the seven years of tribulation. It is not clear to me. I thought after the fourth chapter of the Bible the church was not mentioned. I would really like to know if it is clear to anyone.

Good question! The Bride of Christ will be with Christ and the Father from Revelation four until they return with Christ at the battle of Armegeddon. Send that question again on Saturday during the broadcast.

The phrase “seven years of tribulation” does not appear anywhere in Scripture. However, Jesus did say that a terrible time of trouble would come upon the world just before His return and that it would be more intense than any other in the history of this world. In His great prophetic discourse on the Mount of Olives, Jesus made the following statement: “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened” (Matthew 24:21, 22).
