The Contest Within The Church World
Never In Church History has the church been under the attack as it is at this present time. The contest of signs and wonders is actually a contest of truth vs. error. Isaiah prophesied of this day and said, “Truth has fallen in the street” (Isaiah 59:14b). Jesus Christ warned us of how terrible our present day would be by saying, “And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened” (Matthew 24:22). The Church World is being described by different terms – Post-Christian, Apostate, Emerging Church – the Bible called her, “The Great Whore.” A great majority of the present day Church has so departed from the absolute Word Of God that there is very little resemblance to the Book of Acts and the New Testament Epistles. Three things are very clear in the seventeenth chapter of Revelation. This church is drunk on the world, blind concerning what is about to happen to the world and to her, and so full of flesh that she is perfectly confident that she is right. God tells the truth about her, and truth is that she is a “whore.” The most damming fact according to the Holy Ghost is that she is full of blasphemy. Please send for a free Salty Saints article entitled, “The Great Whore Is Here.” The warning to which very few people are willing to listen is stated without excuse, “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues” (Revelation 18:4). I know an incredible number of families with which I went to great church events that have lost there families to the coming Antichrist. They waited too late to leave “Mystery Babylon,” the Apostate Church.

If you are attending a church that has departed from the simplicity of Jesus and the whole counsel of God, prepare to leave it faster than a hoot owl escaping a forest fire.
If you are into Peale-ism, Schullerism, Warrenism, McLarenism and apostate Church Growth and all its myriad diversionary entrapments and offshoots, you need to return to the Scriptures that warned of this day and return to your Father’s house. God does not upbraid those who desire His wisdom. Good day.

While I agree that the one world church is called the Great Whore, it is somewhat misleading to state that it is here already. The anti-Christ is perhaps already alive on Earth, but we do not know who he is and will not until the Rapture. It is true that “churches” today are going nuts and chasing every new fad that comes along and certainly have departed from the TRUTH – God’s Word. But, until the Rapture, there are still churches that stand by the stuff and are true to the Book reaching the lost before it is too late. I enjoy your updates, but feel that the presentation of the Great Whore as being present and identifed is a little over the top.

Quite a bit of deception in the realm of signs and wonders today and some errors too. I think God is able to straighten these things out as long as the people are seeking the truth and willing to follow. I’m sure God wants to do loads of miracles for His church because He wants His house filled and is not willing for any to perish… It can be a fine line between the devil’s “signs” and God’s, but learning how to discern is a great gift. If Rev.18 takes place after the rapture then the message is for the tribulation saints alone, right? I’m not clear about that. The “salty saints” should be in Heaven by then, right?

Hi Joseph, I read today in the news that the biennial General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church that the delegates again approved ordaining openly gay or lesbian clergy. Somehow I am thinking that they are going to have some in tact congregations when the rapture takes place. Do you think that they will buy into the one world religion or have an ahh-ha moment after the fact.

as we knew it is so far from the New Testament type church that it would be a strange and apostate thing to Paul. We are definately in the last days and this falling away is proof.

How can you tell the difference between a false sign and a true sign? Which ones are false? Are you maybe talking about being slain in the spirit false while speaking in tongues is true? Or is some speaking in tongues false too? The ones that seem false are the laughing services and the barking like dogs services. I can’t imagine Jesus doing either of those things so they seem false to me. Actually, when I think about it, when Jesus touched someone, they were whole, healed, sober, standing upright and strong, not passed out on the ground. Need some insight here. Thanks.

The great city spoken of at the end of Rev 17 is the whore. All throughout Rev 17 and 18, this is Bablyon a land of merchants returned on a world-wide scale. Governments and Church leaders no longer are respected as the worlds great men, because our lively-hood depends on the buying and selling of products. Your merchants were the worlds great men and by your sorceries the whole world was deceived. Nahum 3:16 Your merchants have increased like the stars in the sky, like locusts they strip the land and fly away. In a world system that is fragile and subject to corruption, all it takes is one bad egg to stink-up the whole lot. The world is primed for the anti-christ, with the false prophet’s approval. All this can not happen until there is first a falling away. 2 Thes. Christ will not return until this happens. Fleeing the church is not going to be enough. Daniel: There is a rock cut out, but not by human hands that is thrown to the earth and becomes a whole mountain. This is the kingdom of God established in the end times. The breakdown of the family and the loss of respect for gender is rooted in our current culture and the new world economic structure. The church and family has been a refuge, and in many cases, still is a refuge. The family is the last line of defence, before all hope is lost and the elect are at risk, this is what facilitates the end. We are so interdependent on one another that we have become fragile. A country’s sovereignty no longer has meaning because of what has taken place in the last 20 years. If you flee, flee to the mountain of God.

for one comment above. yes the church will be gone. Matthew 24 is in the middle of the tribulation. We can count ourselves worthy to escape the things coming onto the earth. there is not much time left to work, to wins souls. some won’t listen these days but we are to try as the Holy Spirit gives us an opening. we are to tell them three times and if they don’t listen, to turn away. None of us want blood on our hands. They hated Him and they will hate us too, jail us and strike at the truth. we see the happening fast as it is written. so hold onto what you have and that way not become confused. the world and the wolves are in the church and how they love it. It is sad. If only America will humble themselves and turn to G-d and seek Him with all our hearts. It will be a terrible day when they realize they have been left behind. Pray for them. reach out, We see the weather and the earthquskes as told in the bible. In the Asian earthquake the earth moved off its axle. as it is written so we will see more hard ones..and if Bill Clinton talks them into nuking the ail spill, it will be terrible . Russia nuked theirs but it was on land. there are five cracck on this one down deep and is sprewing it different places. a earthquake with our without a nuke bomb will destroy so much and lives lost. such evil in high places and the church is asleep.I can’t tell you how many say, don’t worry, G-d has always taken care of me. so they just are not going to fight the good fight at all. we all know the god of the world rules naions but if the church would wake up, get back to truth and pay attention to who they vote for and then HOLD them accountable and follow the laws of the land, we would not be in this situation. Like in the days of Noah were, so shall it be in the last days. It is almost over..the true church is going home. We must pray and HE will answer but action is inportant. G-d bless all of you Kim

Though technically the church may not have yet reached the full “harlotry status” which it will as it comes to worship the Antichrist, it certainly is easy to see by its ready acceptance of the “doctrines of demons” being promoted today how it will reach that place in the Tribulation. The spirit of the Antichrist is already obviously successfully at work How much more so once the Rapture occurs and the Holy Spirit’s restraining influence departs at that time!
All of this is just another sign of just how late the hour is. Keep looking up!
