SATAN’S DEFEAT, FROM HEAVEN’S POINT OF VIEW

SATAN LOVES FOR PEOPLE TO THINK THAT HE DOES NOT EXIST. HIS GREATEST DESIGN IS TO HIDE BEHIND LIES AND DECEPTION.
Bible Believers are too smart to be duped. The Bible gives us a perfect picture of Satan’s final days. The Holy Ghost said, ” Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.” (Isaiah 14:9,12,14) We might wonder why Satan has been allowed to destroy people and nations for so long. This is why PROPHECY in the Bible is so important. God’s principles are judicially perfect. When Satan is judged it will be the results of allowing him to hang himself. The Death of Jesus Christ was to pay the REDEMPTIVE price of judging him. The Saints of God had to gather evidence over a long life span to prove beyond guestion Satan’s guilt.. At the same time the Holy Spirit has been REDEEMING A BRIDE for the Son in spite of the lies and insanity of Satan and his deceived angels and men. We are near the final hour that will finish the GRAND DESIGN of our Heavenly Father. Revelation was given to us to show us the END. “And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” (Revelation 20: 1,2 and 10) What a picture John actual saw. It was not told to him but he saw it happen prophetically. A person must be a stubborn soul to deny this truth. As you click to hear this Sermon the wonderful “Mullikin Family will be singing “He Keeps Me Singing” while we prepare for Satan’s JUDGMENT.

  1. “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming theselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” 2 Corinthians 11:13-14

What was happening with those false preachers in Paul’s time is, if anything, going on at a breakneck pace today. How many pulpits are now occupied by smiling false clergy who are preaching out and out heresy and even blasphemy today?

How many entire denominations have now become Satan’s biggest allies? I’ve lost count.

Because most of what passes for the church these days is populated by people who are biblically clueless, they have become fertile ground for Satan’s sowers. Think about it, how can one recognize a lie if they have never heard or read the truth?

Satan does not come across as the hideous, scaly reptilian thing he really is, but as an angel, charismatic and appealing. And his followers likewise have adopted these very successful tactics for almost 2000 years. And will right up until the end of history.

There is only one way to arm ourselves, and that is to learn the Truth of God’s Word. We need the whole armor of God, just as Paul said (Ephesians 6:10-17).

If you hear anyone deny the authority of the Bible and the Jesus that the Bible reveals, they are NOT telling you the truth, but working for the father of lies, the devil himself. If your church is doing this, it’s time to get out and to publicly make it known exactly why you are leaving. In my personal experience, when a church has gotten this bad, it will never repent, but only keep getting worse.

Once again, Pastor Joseph, you have hit this subject right on target.

  2. People’s beliefs concerning Satan range from the silly to the abstract—from a little red guy with horns who sits on your shoulder urging you to sin, to an expression used to describe the personification of evil. The Bible, however, gives us a clear portrait of who Satan is and how he affects our lives. Put simply, the Bible defines Satan as an angelic being who fell from his position in heaven due to sin and is now completely opposed to God, doing all in his power to thwart God’s purposes.

Satan was created as a holy angel. Isaiah 14:12 possibly gives Satan’s pre-fall name as Lucifer. Ezekiel 28:12-14 describes Satan as having been created a cherubim, apparently the highest created angel. He became arrogant in his beauty and status and decided he wanted to sit on a throne above that of God (Isaiah 14:13-14; Ezekiel 28:15; 1 Timothy 3:6). Satan’s pride led to his fall. Notice the many “I will” statements in Isaiah 14:12-15. Because of his sin, God barred Satan from heaven.

Satan became the ruler of this world and the prince of the power of the air (John 12:31; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Ephesians 2:2). He is an accuser (Revelation 12:10), a tempter (Matthew 4:3; 1 Thessalonians 3:5), and a deceiver (Genesis 3; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Revelation 20:3). His very name means “adversary” or “one who opposes.” Another of his titles, the devil, means “slanderer.”

Even though he was cast out of heaven, he still seeks to elevate his throne above God. He counterfeits all that God does, hoping to gain the worship of the world and encourage opposition to God’s kingdom. Satan is the ultimate source behind every false cult and world religion. Satan will do anything and everything in his power to oppose God and those who follow God. However, Satan’s destiny is sealed—an eternity in the lake of fire (Revelation 20:10).

Joseph…Again, the promotion of this “being” you have adopted as a diety, for that is what
comes about when one promotes the idea that there is some supernatural being dictating to
us…when in reality, the Hebrew word, “sawtawn” means Adversary, a common noun that was
transliterated into the proper noun, Satan! Who authorized such deviancy..>Then to be
consistent, the same foolish logic was applied in the New Testament Greek..the Greek word
“diabolos”, meaning false accuser/adversary was similarly transliterated into the word
Devil, another proper noun….But when the translators came upon the PLURAL word, Sawtawn’s
they had to revert to using the right word, ADVERSARIES….Now had they used the right word
from the outset, we would not have people running about claiming that this “adversary” is
an omniscient being, venerated as a diety…which, according to the dictionary means a form
    of worship…..JRN

  4. Note to J. Richard Niemela:

You are of course free to believe the devil is not a real entity or being but the Bible evidence does not support this. If you read Luke 4:1-13, you can see that Jesus had a confrontation and challenge from the devil, or Satan, Lucifer, Beelzebub,or whatever name he has been called throughout history.

Again, the devil put the idea to betray Jesus into Judas Iscariot’s mind (John 13:2), and even possessed him later (John 13:27) to actually make him do this deed. I do not believe any of this is allegorical, but that these are statements of literal fact.

If I am correct, that means the devil is a real being and it would be wise not to doubt his existence.

  5. Good article. Satan is the God of this world. When he will bring with him Judas Iscariot as thge
    antichrist.
