Sanctuary Sermons: “Anointed Preaching Will Greatly Thrill The Soul”

Preaching the Infallible Bible is the greatest joy of my life.

At sixteen years old, I couldn’t read and had dropped out of School months before. Immediately after Jesus Christ claimed my life I wanted to read the scriptures, so I learned to read in a King James Bible. It has been my roadmap every day for sixty-two plus years. Sermons are the sweetest thoughts that constantly flood my time in studying and preparing for every part of my labors and responsibilities. I want to bless the world with the glorious truths of our wonderful Holy Bible.

Out of this hunger we have started a new Sanctuary Sermons page on this website to present each Sunday’s sermons to the listening world. These messages are available directly on that new page, and icons are there to include On-Demand Video, as well as (.m4a) Audio & (.mp3) Audio, to cover all types of devices. We plan to have both Sunday morning and Sunday evening sermons on the site by Tuesday evening of each week. Join us on Twitter and get Tweets for each new sermon. Please remember that God has ordained by “Gospel Preaching” the meeting of the needs of your Spiritual Life. It is impossible to improve on God’s plan. The Holy Spirit said, “For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.” (I Corinthians 1:21)

The Son Of God was totally committed to the great beauty of preaching and teaching the words of eternal life. In fact, He was plain to say that preaching would be that last thing to happen before the world would face the final prophecies. He stated, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” (St. Matthew 24:14) Please enjoy our Sanctuary Sermons and tell those you love where they can regularly hear the “Glorious Gospel”.

  1. The “world” church loves sensationalism. It is in need of and craves the outward evidences that their “god” is doing something. OH BLESS YOU, OH GIVE US VICTORY, OH WE NEED A MIRACLE! That sort of rhetoric. The TRUTH is God is always working in a true believer. Nothing need be evident. It is FAITH that He is who He said He is, that He is our blessing, He is our deliverance, He is our victory, He is our righteousness, HE IS OUR PEACE.
True preaching and reliance on God’s Word alone is what so many are missing. In the story of the judge and the widow Christ says even though her prayers were answered never the less WILL HE FIND FAITH ON THE EARTH UPON HIS RETURN!? When a person is truly born again he/she has this knowledge in their heart, it is not learned it is placed there by the Holy Spirit and maintained by the same.
People have trouble with pastor Chambers because they need constant proof that God will only do good to those who suppose they are Christians. “I AM” means He is all the time. He alone is all our answers. There is nothing more blessed than the heart that knows it is clean before the Lord, the peace that passes all understanding is not the peace that the world can give.

  2. The greatest miracle is when you are born again. The scriptures also tell us if we are sick to call for the elders(pastors) of the church anointing with oil and the prayer of faith will heal the sick.
As disciples we are commanded to preach the Gospel and heal the sick. Its not a matter of “craving a sign or miracle, it is obeying the command of the Lord.

Pastor Chambers, I have a feeling that you are a King James only believer. I use the King James myself but I hope you are not like most of the King James only people that believe you are not even saved if you use another version?

  3. And there you have it, someone else that doesn’t “get” it. What if God `never did anything ever for you, what if no prayers were answered. THAT IS THE GOD YOU NEED TO KNOW, as the song says WE PAISE YOU FOR WHO YOU ARE NOT FOR ALL THE MIGHTY THINGS THAT YOU HAVE DONE. Of course God heals of course He delivers, prospers but it is only by seeking HIM and His righteousness, as Paul put it “I DESIRE TO KNOW NOTHING BUT JESUS CHRIST AND HIM CRUCIFIED”.

  4. A multitude of ministries are based on what God can do and not who He is. They are about getting from or moving God not about knowing Him. To spend eternity with Him we must seek Him for who He is. “many shall say unto Me LORD, LORD ….DID WE NOT DO MANY WONDERFUL WORKS…….”
“AND HE SHALL COME WITH MANY SIGNS AND LYNING WONDERS……” The outward is most often used to “prove” God when the inward is where He does His most miraculous.

  5. RAY: I don’t understand why you say I don’t get it. Yes, we seek Him and His righteousness and all I am saying is, we should obey every word in the scriptures. I’m sorry you have a problem with that. When Paul said he desires to know nothing but Jesus Christ and Him crucified he did not mean him or we are to ignore and disobey all other scriptures. When God does heal that is not a “lying wonder”. I’M not talking about false prophets. Please don’t put words in my mouth. I hope you understand what I’m saying.

  6. There are some here that just accept the fact that we are to obey all the scriptures and if one believes we should, then we are looking for signs and lying wonders. All miracles are not from Satan. As we worship Christ and obey the commandments and if God heals someone or manifests Himself in any way we should praise Him and be grateful that He is mindful of us. I don’t have to have God prove Himself to me. But again if we obey the commandments he will meet us. Some just don’t get it. This post will probably not be allowed as my last one was taken down.

  7. Ray said: And there you have it, someone else that doesn’t “get” it. Get what Ray? God doesn’t have to prove anything and I don’t have to prove God. I just obey the scriptures and pray for the sick and many times God heals in answer to prayer. Anyone that refuses to pray for someone that is sick I disobeying the scriptures and God.
