“THE HARBINGER” AND RICK JOYNER

THE UNSEEN, UNKNOWN AND UNIDENTIFIED PROPHET IN “THE HARBINGER’S” FICTION NOVEL FITS PERFECTLY WITH THE PSYCHIC CHARACTERISTICS OF RICK JOYNER AND HIS FELLOW TRAVELERS. Study Todd Bentley. Mike Bickel, Bob Jones or Jack Deese etc. and you find this same new way of calling Occult activities the actions of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Bible alone must always be our discernment and proof of the Sovereign Truth from our Heavenly Father. Any Psychic expressions, Extrasensory Perception (ESP), Clairvoyance, Precognition, Telepathy, Telekinesis, Astral Travel, etc. cannot be accepted in Spiritual matters.

Since the name of Jonathan’s prophet is hidden from us, it is possibly someone like Joyner or someone of the same activities. I believe the prophet is unknown on purpose. This unknown prophet was clearly occultic in every circumstance. He always appeared mysteriously, and controlled the location of the lead character’s presence wherever he planned. No one sees the prophet but the writer or lead character. It appears he is invisible to everyone else. It is evidence that he travels by Astral Travel. He has the power to determine the location of the documentations to prove his theories. This prophet is clearly unlimited by natural limitations. We all know that no prophet in the Bible was any less human than we are nor any of the great men or woman of God in church history. The anointing of the Holy Ghost was in every circumstance the single power beyond normal powers. When we accept this prophet we have moved from the world of Holy Scripture into the world of Mysticism and Psychic phenomenon.

THE FOLLOWING ARTICLE WAS WRITTEN SOME YEARS AGO AND WILL GIVE YOU A PICTURE OF RICK JOYNER”s OCCULTIC THINKING AND ACTIVITIES. Was maybe he the prophet in this strange book?

The book by Rick Joyner, entitled The Final Quest, should be labeled “The Final Lie.” It is absolutely the ultimate in “lies” from demons and devils that I have ever reviewed. This book can deceive no one unless they have first been mesmerized by these last day deceptions. The content is so ridiculous and far-fetched that believing it reveals an altered state of religious deception. Remember, that to be “mesmerized” simply means “an altered state of consciousness.” The final religion of the Antichrist is sorcery and witchcraft and the spirit of this darkness has already taken deep root in the church world.

Rick Joyner is an ultimate false prophet. He is so taken with himself that he believes his own lies and elevates himself with a dark sense of his own importance. Let’s look at his descent into necromancy (communication with the dead) that he freely expresses in his book. Mr. Joyner supposedly goes to heaven and meets all the greats of Biblical revelation. Listen as he, according to his book, meets the Apostle Paul.

“I then felt compelled to look at those who were sitting on the thrones we were passing. As I did, my gaze fell upon a man whom I knew was the apostle Paul. As I looked back at the Lord, He motioned for me to speak to him.“‘I have so looked forward to this’ I said, feeling awkward but excited by this meeting. ‘I know that you are aware of just how much your letters have guided the church, and they are probably still accomplishing more than all the rest of us put together. You are still one of the greatest lights on the earth.’

“Thank you,’ he said graciously. ‘But you do not understand just how much we have looked forward to meeting you. You are a soldier in the last battle; you are the ones whom everyone here is waiting to meet. We only saw these days dimly through our limited prophetic vision, but you have been chosen to live in them. You are a soldier preparing for the last battle. You are the ones for whom we are all waiting.”"

“Still feeling awkward, I continued, ‘But there is no way that I can convey the appreciation that we feel for you, and all who helped to set our course with their lives and their writings. I also know that we will have an eternity for exchanging our appreciation, so please, while I am here, let me ask, ‘What would you say to my generation that will help us in this battle?’ “‘I can only say to you now what I have already said to you through my writings. I would have you to understand them better by knowing that I fell short of all that I was called to do,’ Paul stated, looking me resolutely in the eyes.”

“But you are here, in one of the greatest thrones. You are still reaping more fruit for eternal life than any of us could ever hope to reap, I protested. ‘By the grace of God I was able to finish my course, but I still did not walk in all that I was called to. I fell short of the highest purposes that I could have walked in. Everyone has. I know that some think that is blasphemy to think of me as anything less than the greatest example of Christian ministry, but I was being honest when I wrote near the end of my life that I was the greatest of sinners. I was not saying that I have been the greatest of sinners, but that I was the greatest of sinners then. I had been given so much to understand, and I walked in so little of it.” (The Final Quest, Rick Joyner, Morning Star Publications, 1996, pp. 131-132.)

It is easy to see that the spirit Rick Joyner was talking with in his act of necromancy was a deceiving, lying spirit from the devil. Everything about this conversation is deceptive and false. Mr. Joyner sees himself in such an exalted position that the Apostle Paul is treated condescendingly. To belittle the Words of God given to the Apostle Paul serves only to elevate himself and his colleagues as being much more obedient and in touch with God than the men who wrote the Word of God. It is so blatant and false as to be laughable if he were not serious.

He quoted the Apostle Paul as saying, “But you do not understand just how much we have looked forward to meeting you.” Anybody who believes in the conversations out of necromancy has a serious problem, but those that believe Apostle Paul said this about an apostate like Rick Joyner, need their heads examined.

Let’s weigh the testimony of Apostle Paul to one of the statements quoted above. Mr. Joyner quotes this voice he heard that he called the apostle as stating, “By the grace of God I was able to finish my course, but I still did not walk in all that I was called to. I had been given so much to understand, and I walked in so little of it.” (Ibid, p. 132.)

What Mr. Joyner stated and what the Apostle Paul said is totally different. Here are the Words of God spoken by the Holy Ghost. “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” (II Timothy 4:7-8)

When Apostle Paul spoke of his having been the chiefest of sinners, he was speaking of the past, not his state of sinfulness when he penned those words. Again, Mr. Joyner seems to see himself as a revisionist of Holy Scripture, making it fit his false revelations.

The Occultic Trance

Mr. Joyner confesses that this book is basically a result of trances that he experienced. A Biblical trance experienced by people in the Bible is totally different from occultic trances, which are nothing but the devil’s imitations. A Biblical trance was a place of great inspiration where the person, in full control of himself, received beautiful revelations from the Lord. An occultic trance is an altered state of consciousness when foreign spirits take control. Let’s allow Mr. Joyner to speak from his book about this matter.

“The visions contained in this book all began with a dream. Some of it came under a very intense sense of the presence of the Lord, but the overwhelming majority was received in some level of a trance. Most of it came on the level where I was still conscious of my surroundings, and could even interact with them, such as answering the phone. When they were interrupted, or when things got so intense that I would have to get up and walk around, when I sat back down I would immediately be right back where I had left off. Once the experience became so intense that I actually got up and left the mountain cabin where I go to seek the Lord, and drove home. Over a week later I returned and almost immediately I was right back where I left off.” (Ibid, p. 11.)

Mr. Joyner gives absolutely no Bible support for any of these trances. In fact, it is clear that the whole book would fit in a New Age bookstore or in a wizard’s library perfectly. Connected to these trances, Joyner gives five levels of the prophetic revelation or trances again with no genuine support from the Word of God. Here are his five levels, as stated in The Final Quest.

FIRST LEVEL: “There are many levels of prophetic revelation. The beginning levels include prophetic ‘impressions.’ These are genuine revelations. They can be extraordinarily specific and accurate when interpreted by those who are experienced and sensitive to them.” (Ibid, p. 9.)

SECOND LEVEL: “Visions can come on the impression level, also. They are gentle and must be seen with ‘the eyes of our heart.’ These, too, can be very specific and accurate, especially when received and/or interpreted by those who are experienced.” (Ibid, p. 10.)

THIRD LEVEL: “The next level of revelation is a conscious sense of the presence of the Lord, or the anointing of the Holy Spirit, which gives special illumination to our minds. This often comes when I am writing, or speaking, and it gives me much greater confidence in the importance or accuracy of what I am saying. I believe that this was probably experienced by the apostles as they wrote the New Testament epistles.” (Ibid, p. 10.)

FOURTH LEVEL: “Open visions occur on a higher level than impressions; they tend to give us more clarity than we may have even when we feel the conscious presence of the Lord, or the anointing. Open visions are external, and are viewed with the clarity of a movie screen. Because they cannot be controlled by us I believe that there is far less possibility of mixture in revelations that come this way.” (Ibid, p. 10.)

FIFTH LEVEL: “Another higher level prophetic experience is a trance, such as Peter had when he was first instructed to go the house of Cornelius and preach the gospel to the Gentiles for the first time, and such as Paul had when he prayed in the temple in Acts 22. Trances were a common experience of the biblical prophets. Trances are like dreaming when you are awake. Instead of just seeing a ‘screen’ like in an open vision, you feel like you are in the movie, that you are actually there in a strange way.” (Ibid, p. 11.)

Rick Joyner Attacks Bible Believers

Joyner’s chief purpose in this book is to attack anyone that discerns or believes the Bible to be infallible and who is willing to defend truth to the end. Part One is entitled “The Hordes of Hell Are Marching.” His total description of this company, which he names as “the hordes of hell,” cannot be anyone other than those refusing to believe the “new revelations” he is proclaiming. If you believe that the Scripture should judge his visions and prophecies, then his description of you is quite vivid.

First, here are his opening remarks. “The demonic army was so large that it stretched as far as I could see. It was separated into divisions, with each carrying a different banner. The foremost divisions marched under the banners of Pride, Self-righteousness, Respectability, Selfish-Ambition, Unrighteous Judgment, and Jealousy. There were many more of these evil divisions beyond my scope of vision, but those in the vanguard of this terrible horde from hell seemed to be the most powerful. The leader of this army was the Accuser of the Brethren himself.” (Ibid, p. 16.)

Then, he gave his opinion of this army and what their resistance was meant to accomplish. “This army was marching specifically against the church, but it was attacking everyone that it could. I knew that it was seeking to pre-empt a coming move of God which was destined to sweep masses of people into the church.” (Ibid, p. 17.)

Mr. Joyner goes further to describe how the people he was fighting with were filthy and slime-ridden by some imaginary vultures that were riding his enemies. He even calls the true anointing of the Holy Ghost on these Bible-believing Christians “slime.” Notice his words. “Even worse than the vomit from the vultures was a repulsive slime that these demons were urinating and defecating upon the Christians they rode. This slime was the pride, selfish ambition, etc., that was the nature of their division. However, this slime made the Christians feel so much better than the condemnation. They easily believed that the demons were messengers of God, and they actually thought this slime was the anointing of the Holy Spirit.” (Ibid, p. 21.)

The one and only answer to this false book is the Word of God and the true anointing of the Holy Ghost. You will always find Satan fighting against that which he fears. Many years ago the Lord inspired my heart to understand that the only antidote to error is truth and the only power that darkness cannot tolerate is light. This is why the book attacks the final words of the Holy Bible and the true anointing of the Holy Ghost.

The Beautiful Realm Of Darkness

The third section of this book takes the reader into the realm of the false beauty of occultism. It is entitled, “The Return of the Eagles.” The wild fantasy of this episode is probably fascinating to anyone that has become caught up into the mysterious world of “New Wave” Charismatics. Giant eagles appear and Joyner tells how exciting it was to interact with these intelligent creatures. He asked one question that shows something of their character. “Where did you come from? I asked.” (Ibid, p. 59.)

Here’s the answer he received. “We eat snakes, the eagle replied. The enemy is bread for us. Our sustenance comes from doing the Father’s will, which is to destroy the works of the devil. Every snake that we eat helps to increase our vision. Every stronghold of the enemy that we tear down strengthens us so we can soar higher and stay in the air longer. We have just come from a feast, devouring the serpents of Shame who have bound many of your brothers and sisters. They will be here soon. They are coming with the eagles we left behind to help them find the way, and to protect them from the enemies counterattacks.” (Ibid, pp. 59-60.)

Can you imagine a creature of God that increases its wisdom by eating snakes? This clearly reveals that the nature of these eagles was the nature of a demon. Now, the eagle reveals to Joyner that he was a man whom he had formerly known, but had been changed to his present expression. The eagle shows him a door that was a shortcut to some great level of spiritual attainment. Joyner now enters that door.

Here are his words. “The glory that I behold was so stunning that I immediately fell to my knees. The gold, silver and precious stones were far more beautiful than can be described. They actually rivaled the glory of the Tree of Life. The room was so large that it seemed to be without end. The floor was silver, the pillars, gold, and the ceiling was a single pure diamond that reflected every color I had ever known and many that I had not known. Angels without number were all around, dressed in different robes and uniforms that were of no earthly origin.”

“As I began to walk through the room, the angels all bowed in salute. One stepped forward and welcomed my by name. He explained that I could go anywhere and see anything that I wanted in the room. Nothing was withheld from those who came through the door. I was so overwhelmed by the beauty that I could not even speak. I finally remarked that this was even more beautiful than the Garden had been. Surprised, the angel responded, This is the Garden! This is one of the rooms in your Father’s house. We are your servants. As I walked, a great company of angels followed me.” (Ibid, p. 67-68.)

Within this room, Joyner describes what he calls beautiful stones and jewels. Here is a description of one of those stones as described by him. “Then my eyes fell on a beautiful green stone. ‘What does that one have in it?’ I asked the angel standing nearby. All of these stones are the treasures of salvation. You are now touching the heavenly realm, and that one is the restoration of life,’ he continued.

“As I touched the green stone I began to see the earth in rich and spectacular colors. They grew in richness the longer I had my hand on the stone, and my love for all that I saw also grew. Then I began to see a harmony between all living things on a level that I had never seen before. Then I began to see the glory of the Lord in the creation. It began to grow until again I had to step away because of the intensity.” (Ibid, p. 68-69.)

Ezekiel gives a picture of Satan and his created fascination with jewels and beautiful things. “Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.” (Ezekiel 28:13-14). Certainly, Satan has not lost his paranormal powers to lure men with his beauty and with promises of religious glory.

I would like to believe that no professing believer could be taken by such wild speculation. One of Satan’s tools to lure men has always been a fanciful attachment to the imagination. While a pure imagination is certainly wonderful, one that has left the sure guide of Biblical truth and wisdom is equally dangerous. The occultic world of Dungeons & Dragons is not much different from this book, The Final Quest. It fixes the mythology of ancient paganism perfectly and has all the elements of Satan’s lying wonders.

Persons already intrigued by Rick Joyner are not likely to do less than heap scorn on me and on this article. It is really written to warn anyone that will listen to stay clear of anything that is not flooded with Biblical truth. The Bible has never been more important. It has all the truth that you need to steer a pure course to the joy of salvation and to the eternal city of God. Even so come, Lord Jesus!

A NEW SERIES ENTITLED, “THE HARBINGER: A BOOK OF LUCIFERIAN DELUSION” WILL CONTINUE NEXT SATURDAY. I am overwhelmed with the church’s utter lack of discernment. The so-called prophet in this book is utterly possessed with all the characteristics of the occult. Almost every action of a Psychic Practitioner is evident in his book. His use of Scriptures from Jewish history and the application of those Scriptures to the New Testament era is “Replacement Theology”. On and on goes the list of this book’s Luciferian thinking. His close connections to Rick Joyner, Jim Bakker, and Sid Roth is enough to warn any careful person. There is not one reference in this book to a single truth that is the heartthrob of End Time Prophecy. The Rapture, the Antichrist, The Nation of Israel’s future Kingdom, The Battle Of Armageddon, the Seven Year Tribulation or the Millennium are never named one time. A special article documenting every fact that we will discuss will be free to every listener. This Broadcast is live all over the world. Dear Rabbi Cahn,

Would you please respond to this article that has been posted on the Paw Creek Ministry Website?

  2. Gary C. Hardin says:

Pastor Chambers, I have read “The Harbinger” by Messianic Rabbi Jonathan Cahn and do not agree here with you on this one. Rabbi Cahn and Rick Joyner are as far apart as you can get. Rabbi Cahn wrote “The Harbinger” in fiction/suspense form to reach a wider audiences. If you should however have the opportunity to meet Rabbi Cahn and hear him preach in person, particularly on this subject, you will find someone I believe to be a sincere Pastor of the Gospel.
But I do agree with you 100% your evaluation of Rick Joyner, Rick Warren, Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn, Joyce Myers, and other in this camp.

    Thank you,

  3. Gary Frye says:

God Bless You, Brother Chambers, for continuing to expose false teachers, etc. I agree with you and am baffled by the gross inability of so many of those who profess the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ to discern these false teachers and preachers. We are truly in the last days Jesus warned us about. The deceiving and seducing Satanic spirits are everywhere, Brother! May God continue to use you and your ministry to His glory!

Your Brother in Christ and fellow laborer,
    Evangelist Gary Frye

  4. Ed Wood says:

Thanks, Pastor Joseph, for your detailed analysis of “The Harbinger” and subjects directly related to it.

By a strict definition, ESP (Extrasensory Perception) involves anything beyond the normal limits of the five human senses. Certainly the visions of the biblical prophets would be “extrasensory” in that sense. Added to this are the examples of the miraculous in which the normal physical laws of the universe are temporarily suspended or surpassed.

The big difference, I feel, between those sent from God and those which are counterfeits sent by Satan, can be determined by who initiates them. God is ALWAYS the initiator of true visions, accurate prophecy, and of all genuine events transcending natural law. They will therefore ALWAYS reaffirm what we read in the Bible. Admittedly sometimes it is hard to tell the difference. Some visions have such a huge emotional draw but are proven not to be from God when they encourage non-biblical principles such praying to Mary, an angel or a saint, reciting the Rosary, etc.)

Other purported experiences should also be considered suspect. If someone claims to be able to “whistle up” a vision, prophecy, or the Holy Spirit at will, like a lot of false TV preachers do today, then they just aren’t from God. God is not a magic genie at our command and does NOT work on our schedule, only his own!

Remember, Jesus had a pretty poor opinion who wanted “miracles on demand” (Matthew 12:38-39; 16:4) and probably an even less favorable one for someone who said he or she could deliver them, judging what happened to Elymas the sorcerer (Acts 13:6-12).

So, my advice is to always go to the Bible and use it for your standard.

  5. pastor Beard says:

Thanks again Pastor Chambers for this great article exposing satan’s latest scheme to draw the church off into the. Occult. There is little preaching against this evil, and where preaching is done it is often met with judgment, instead of repentance (Luke 13;3. But praise God, we aren’t going to be judged by God on how many receive the truth, only on our obedience to declare it. Keep coming forth with these great expose’s I am gleaning much for one!
    God Bless Pastor Chambers

    Dear Pastor

We all need to keep our vigil and to remain spiritually sober. Rick Joyner should observe this, perhaps a little more than some.

For all those interested here is an awesome article that happens to be written by Bro Chambers, exposing Rick Joyner all the way back to 1999. http://www.deceptioninthechurch.com/joyner.html

A word to the Hungry, and Vigilant
Romans 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

Jesus FIRST warning in respect to the LAST DAYS? TAKE HEED THAT NO MAN DECEIVE YOU. MATT 24 –
To obey this verse, requires a strict regiment of judgment/Discernment (of WHAT is BEING TEACHED) based upon the scripture (Gal.1:8-9)always remember, (The “messenger” does not justify the “message”, But rather the “Message” justifies the “Messenger”)
Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Galatians 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

1 Corinthians 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

To obey this verse, requires a strict regiment of judgment (of WHAT is BEING TEACHED) based upon the scripture
2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
    14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Thank you for this article, I am looking forward to the next. Most “Christians” I talk to are absolutely giddy about “The Harbinger”. When I comment on their lack of insight, wisdom, and discernment, I get pounded, but hey, so what? I’m sure you can relate. We enjoy your email updates, and get your mailer. I only wish that we could get your radio broadcast here in Nowhere, Montana as I have a low-power FM transmitter, which I use to rebroadcast the truth to the “sleeple”.

  10. RJ says:

I agree ~ the Bible should be our ONLY guide! Not any additions to it written by supposed men or women of God — because we may not know if they are false teachers or wrong in something. I do wonder about something though — that horrendous act of cannibalism that took place in FLA over Memorial Day weekend ~ the guy who ate the other man’s flesh was reported to have been “gentle in nature & carried his Bible with him EVERYWHERE he went”. So obviously just owning & carrying a Bible — and even reading it is not enough if it’s not mixed with faith and a yielded life in following the Lord Jesus in obedience and holiness.

I think it’s the religious pious crowd that scares me the most — while on the outside they have the APPEARANCE that they are men of God! Even the DEMON POSSESSED GIRL of Acts 16 was telling the TRUTH as she followed Paul & the other men around… she said people should listen to them because they were MEN OF GOD. True!! And yet… she herself was demon possessed.

Scary, scary! We are to be gentle as doves and shrewd as serpents. And since it’s getting so hard to tell the difference between the wheat & the tares, we soo hope the Lord Jesus will gather us together unto Himself ~ SOON ~ !!!!! Amen & as you stated, COME Lord Jesus!!

Thank you for this site, Bro. Chambers & for allowing us to participate on it with our comments. Years ago I posted regularly at “the biggest” prophecy board on the net — until one day the admins there got on to me & ran me off — because I had stated that a homosexual man who worked in a porn shop was NOT a Christian! They ranted on & on about how it’s all about “belief” in Jesus only and that we’re all sinners — saved sinners & unsaved sinners. They chose to ignore the book of James that says that EVEN THE DEMONS **BELIEVE**!!

So to find truth telling sites, ones that WANT to obey the Lord — are truly rare in these end days. Thank you for being bold enough to take a stand.

  11. Anne Sears says:

    Dear Pastor Chambers.
Rick Joyner’s quotes from the ‘Final Quest’ sound like they come from someone on drugs, or a person with mental disease. As far as Rabbi Jonathan Cahn writing a work of fiction to “reach a wider audience”,as someone mentioned, the Word of God says that He sends HIS Word forth and it does not come back void.” Why dabble in fictional anything ?…preach the Gospel. Period. The ‘Harbinger’ may entertain an audience, but God doesn’t need people to be entertained, but to hear His Word. No doubt such entertainment sells a lot of books( good money maker ),as it leads readers into la, la land. Lack of discernment for sure, and how about a lack of common sense Thank you Brother Chambers for telling like it is.

  12. Chris says:

Thank you, brother, for pointing out lies in the light of the Word. Any believer who studies the Word can spot these things, but most are too lazy to read for themselves the Word itself.
Keep your eyes on the LORD and His LOVE and low at HIS feet in all you do.

  13. Milton says:

    Rev. Chambers,

This morning in my devotional time I read in the book of Leviticus. I have a question concerning a verse that I read in Leviticus 3:17. The Word states, “It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood”.
I know the word ‘perpetual’ means forever. Does this mean that we are not to eat fat? I don’t eat fat anyway, but I thought that we were free to eat all things when Peter was given the vision in the Book of Acts.
Thank you for standing firm in the Word. Paw Creek Ministries is such a blessing to me. God bless you!

    Milton

  14. Sally says:

Just because you have not experienced and received because of your ‘closed mind’ does not make these ‘seekers’ wrong. In fact, in your ‘statements’ you are indeed pronouncing judgment on God’s annointed…..and you need to be careful. The Bible DOES talk about visions and dreams (visions are during the daytime, and certainly would be in a ‘trance-like’ situation as you are not aware of other than what you are seeing….no, I have not yet experienced for myself, but look at the Biblical accounts there already for you…..We are indeed dealing with a spiritual realm that is much more real than this world that we are mainly viewing- spiritual (heavenly and demonically) and because the Church has ‘closed it’s eyes’, the demonic has made too much inroads into the Church world…and it is not through the faithful servants mentioned above in disdain, but through ‘self-righteous’ hypocrites…..I pray you will see the truth!!!!

  15. Ward says:

    AMEN SALLY!

  16. Gayle B. says:

Anymore when the whole “church” and even the world makes something that popular, you know it has to be wrong. thankyou for standing strong and fighting against the tide.

  17. Ed Branch says:

A good test is when a personality or a book (in this case the fiction novel The Harbinger)is received with such popularity and passion, it’s probably not Biblically sound. In this 21st century, God and the truth of His Word is not popular. Only something watered-down or extra-Biblical is blindly received by the majority of professing Christians. The “church” for the most part can hardly wait for the next religious fad or some new book. Jesus said in the last days the greatest tool of Satan will be deception. Church, read God’s Book!

Mormans are even promoting The Harbinger, and many Christians are more excited about Rabbi Cahn’s than they have ever been about the prophetic word of God–the Bible. Why is that?

being led to say, (Itchy ears) Very few will ever leave
Ricks Church, I think he is Deamon Possessed, Guiding
Spirit, all the same New Age stuff, From witch turn away,
I think this Generation is the last one, One Preacher
says it started with the baby boomers, It seems like
Paul said bring in your offering on the first of the week.
I also read that all the names of the 7 days means
some kind of Occult Meaning, all names of the 7 days
came from Rome, I worship the LORD JEASUS CHRIST 7
days a week, Who elce, On the 7th you shall do no work,
Preaching to a group of people is work, If they get saved
on any day, They wont ever forget it. Oh happy day
when JESUS washed my Sins away

  19. Eric says:

    Brother Chambers,

It is hard for me to express how grieved I am by your wild allegations. For you to make an abstract connection of Cahn to Joyner is completely beyond any limits of apologetics, discernment, and just plain good judgment. Do you not believe that God can lead people and direct them supernaturally? Have you even attempted to contact Jonathan Cahn? Have you seen the Isaiah 9:10 film produced by World Net Daily? I think not.

God deals with nations and peoples as he always has and this is a call for repentance pure and simple. I suggest you retract your statements and apologize to Jonathan Cahn. In the end, would Satan direct a project whose end goal is a clear cut call for national and personal repentance?

    Eric

    Dear Eric,

I,m delighted you are concerned about my position on “The Harbinger”.
You may not know the connections between Rick Joyner and Cahn. I
live right here near the Joyner headquarters. One of Cahn’s launching areas
was with their ministries. The prophet (so-called) in Cahn’s book is a perfect
image of what you read in Joyner’s books. It is false as is possible. Most
people do not know that the Publishing Company for “The Harbinger” is the
Charisma House (Charisma Magazine). I have called them three times trying
to get the name of the Prophet and his phone number for an interview. A
respresentive just told me the prophet does not exist but is just fictional. WOW,
So you are following a non-existing prophet. Not me!!!!!

    Joseph

  20. Ed Branch says:

Yes, America needs to repent, and so does the apostate “church.” So, why wait for a fictional prophet to tell us that when Jesus’ letters to the churches in Revelation has been so neglected. God always judges sin, and America and the church will be no exception. Yes, the warning must be proclaimed, but let us not disregard God’s word and cheapen it by endorsing a book inspired by a fictious prophet. Wake up church! Jesus warned us that there would be days like this.

  21. Ward says:

How Joseph do you deny the actual happenings since 911 i.e. bricks, stones, trees, governmental declaractions etc as they are identical with the “king jimmy” version of your Bible. I do not need a prophet identity to confirm in my spirit by the Holy Spirit that which is truth.

Your ministry is “Assyrian” in that it promotes terrorism…fear. Isaac’s “no name” servant sent by divine inspiration to find his wife needed no identification to accomplish the will of
    God.

This HARBINGER is for all of us.

  22. Joe says:

My family and I left a church in Spring Lake NC, because several members who were leaders of the worship team were bringing rick joyner’s false teachings into the church. We witnessed “Christian” rap, chanting and flag dancers before we pulled chalks and flew out of there. joyner is a dangerous man and fools lots of people who need signs and wonders in order to believe.
