The Earth Is Reeling & Rocking
“The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard . . .” (Isaiah 24:20a). There is great concern that the world’s largest volcano, which is located under Yellowstone National Park, is set to erupt, wiping out two-thirds of the United States. A storm of comets that is pelting the sun has alarmed NASA’s Solar and Heliospheric Observatory operators. The earth’s magnetic pole is said to be unleashing poisonous space clouds and harming the earth’s atmosphere. This was speculated to be causing the death of fowls that are falling out of the sky around the world. An earthquake off the west coast of America, which was at the same location of a previous earthquake in 1700 A.D., is said to be building and getting ready to explode. The study suggests that a thirty-five foot tsunami will strike the western coastlines of the United States with death.
Is all of this just scary talk or is this God’s plan to fulfill the Book of Revelation? Haggai promised by the Spirit, “For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come” (Haggai 2:6-7a).
Our very earth, along with its created system of nature, is at the point of imploding. By the Holy Ghost Isaiah stated, “The earth mourneth and languiseth” (Isaiah 33:9a). Apostle Paul gave this statement a New Testament interpretation, “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now” (Romans 8:22). This world was created in righteousness and the depravity of human wickedness is ripping the very beauty out of our earth. The present earth is like a formerly strong, healthy body that has been ravaged by cancer. Spiritually, our world is only “skin and bones” with a thin, yellow, leathery covering holding the last breaths in failing lungs. The Spirit said, “For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations . . . And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll . . . for my sword shall be bathed in heaven” (Isaiah 34:2-5).
Let’s add to this what Jesus Christ told John to write in his Revelation, “And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places” (Revelation 6:12-14).
The details of the scientific facts about the movements and signs of coming catastrophes in our earth’s bio-systems and in the stratosphere above are alarming. Before we try to understand the picture of what is developing, let us first understand God’s plan and the final results of what is going on in the earth. Every catastrophic event that takes place in the last days of our world will bring about a glorious end. Our world is soon to be a recreated Garden of Eden.
The heaven above us is going to be rolled together as a scroll and disappear. The dwelling place of the Father and His heavenly hosts will soon be next door to the earth. During the Great Tribulation, the wicked will see the Father on His throne as they endure hell on earth. The saints that were raptured will be the Father’s elders and will participate with Him in ordering the cleansing judgment of this present planet. The total planet will be recreated in righteousness and will be fit for kings and priests to live in divine splendor.
God’s promise is beyond our mind to fully grasp, “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea . . . And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful” (Revelation 21:1, 4-5).
It is an absolute fact that the coming judgment of the wicked is the exact opposite for the righteous. We are going to dwell in a world of perfect righteousness with every saint of God, every holy angel, along with the Father and His Son, joined by the Holy Spirit. The Heavenly Father and His Son are going to use their natural world and all the powers of nature to purify and cleanse this earth. When God judged Noah’s generation, He used the waters in the deep and the waters above to create a great flood. He even used Noah and his family to build an ark to save the species of creatures that He had created. When the flood was over, God sent the wind to blow and the sun to shine until man could step out of the ark and inhabit His earth again. He will do similar things again.
The same kind of earthquakes that probably occurred at the great flood and caused the mountains to rise and the valleys to descend will soon cause the opposite to occur. These great events will be so powerful and supernatural that there will be no more great seas. “…for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea” (Revelation 21:1b). The evidence of sea life has been discovered in the mountains of our present world proving that these mountains were once underwater. The upheaval of this earth was the direct result of sin. The shield that our Creator had erected over the earth was removed so the human lifespan would decrease from the 800 to 900 years that it had been possible for man to live. Again, we see the picture of our Father using nature or the rays of the sun to shorten life and give mankind less time to grow more and more wicked.
Studying about the world’s most powerful volcano beneath the Yellowstone National Park gives a picture of how fragile our world has become. The data about this volcanic field must leave all of us concerned. The size of the overall caldera is spread over an area of 300 miles. It is said to be 400 miles deep at its base and then rises upward to 30 miles beneath the earth’s surface before the 300 mile spread. This entire area is believed to be filled with white hot, molten rock. The experts tell us that this cauldron is expanding and has been lifting the floor of the park about 3 inches a year since 2004. This is the fastest rate since scientists began keeping records in 1923. An expert from the University of Utah, Bob Smith, stated, “It’s an extra ordinary uplift, because it covers such a large area and the rate is so high.” He further states, “We have no idea how long the process goes on before there is an eruption or the inflow of molten rock stops and the caldera deflates itself.” (www.dailymail.co.uk).
When you consider the increasing number of earthquakes, volcano eruptions, strange actions in the atmosphere, the continuing death of animals, and, then, wars and rumors of wars, multiplying incurable diseases, and the evidence of an Antichrist spirit taking control of our world’s mindset; we can’t help but see the Bible’s perfect picture of the end. There is no one that knows and believes the Bible that can offer one ounce of proof against what is about to happen. God can prolong the shadows and the signs, but wise people who have the fear of God must confess that the end is near. Actually, it is not the end of anything but sin, sorrow, and disobedience against God. It is the beginning of hope and happiness that has been unknown since the Garden of Eden was invaded by the thief that stole our human glory. He will soon pay for his lying and destruction.

Hello Pastor Joseph.
There certainly are ominous signs in nature all around us happening concurrently with all the economic, religious, and political distresses in the world today.
Earthquake activity is on the rise and the hard data is there from the USGS as you indicated. So is the ground rising in the Yellowstone Caldera which may or may not be a prelude to a massive eruption. It certainly bears watching.
An influx of comets orbiting into the sun is itself not a direct problem when one considers just how massive the sun is relative even to all the other planets and moons in our solar system, but should we see the frequency of these events increase, it could very well mean that the population of comets entering the inner solar system from the Oort Cloud which surrounds it has increased and that odds for one or more hitting the Earth is also increasing. That could be a very big problem indeed!
What bears watching will be increased solar activity as we approach the Solar Maximum in 2013. Under a worst-case scenario, solar activity could effectively shut down our power grids and satellite systems for extended periods- essentially returning us to a 19th Century existence.
But I believe that that it is well within the realm of possibilty that those who believe in Jesus may be gone before then.

God gave us the opportunity to follow in a far greater way than the rest of nature- to be over all His kingdom here on earth – yet when even the majority of the churches can be deceived to do no more than follow Satan as God – yes you might say the time is drawing near. You dont find much of that around in churches anymore, yes I agree the earth is rocking and reeling, He said in His word, when we see these things look up our redemtion draws nigh, we beleivers dont have to be concerned, only for our lost loved ones, God is talking very loudly thru these events to all people, but they have turned deaf ears, they have eyes to see and see not, they have ears to hear but they hear not, thats the way of the world now adays, thank God I am not of this world, but the kingdon which is to Come. The Yellowstone Caldera magma chamber, aka the containment vessel of the liquid and gas trying to erupt, is roughly 50 miles long, 30 miles wide and about 4 miles thick. The translates into approximately 6,000 cubic miles of potentially eruptible gas and (when it reached the surface) solids such as ash and cinders. IF all the magma is eruptible, it would cover the continental USA wtih about 9 feet of volcanic solids. Clearly in an eruption some areas would be spared, whereas others would be buried by (who knows how much) solid rock material as ash or cinders. We are not talking about ash such as would be produced from a burning a newspaper of even from a forest fire. We are talking about rock (shards, etc.). This stuff has a density of >2.7 grams/cc. If 20% of eruptible material is gas, reduce the above figure to about 7.2 feet of solids.
The mantle plume under the Park is causing deforming stress across much of the western United States. Stress has been determined to be great along the Teton Fault (responsible for the uplift of the Teton Range, south of Yellowstone NP). Just some other sobering thoughts to add to Bro. Chambers’ discussion. Be ready. Jesus IS coming soon!

Yellowstone is not the only SUPER-VOLCANO on this earth. It is not even the most powerful. The strongest super volcano on this earth is the LAKE TOBA VOLCANO ON INDONESIA’S SAMATRA ISLAND where the TSUNAMI ORIGINATED that killed 200000 to 300000 people, bu sending the tsunami around the globe until it was stopped by coast lines. If that one blows up, it will send a VERY LARGE TSUNAMI AROUND THE WORLD. If Yellowstone blows, it will put a large ash cloud across much of the mid section of the USA. The ash goes up into the upper atmospere. It later comes down like SNOW, AND ACCUMULATES ON TOPS OF CARS AND ROOFS. Peple will have to get out their snow shovels. When one foot of ash on a roof gets soaked with rain (rain equals a foot of snow) it weighs as much as 10 to 12 ft of snow, since water weighs at 62 1/2 pounds a cubic foot. If it happens in the winter, the northern states could get ash mixed with snow. Gray snow is heavier than withe snow. This may weigh down trees and power lines cutting off power. The LAVA WOULD MOST LIKELY FOLLW THE RIVERS NEAR YELOOWSTONE. If it flows west it may reach Seattle or Portland. If it flows east, it might reach the MISSISSIPPI, AND THEN FOLLOW THE MISSISSIPPI DOWN TO NEW ORLEANS TO BURN THAT CITY. There are other super volcanoes around this earth too. THERE IS EVEN ONE UNDER THE ITALIAN CITY OF NAPLES, WITH THE LAVA ONLY ABOUT 4 MILES UNDER THE CITY. If that one blows it will kills millions of people instantly, in one blast. The are also some volcanos in the Canary Islands. The stongest is LA PALMA. Then there is TENERIFE. ANy exploding island volcano can make big waves. If LA PALMA explodes, it will WIPE OUT MUCH OF THE FLORIDA COAST WITH A 150FT TSUNAMI. Also the US east coast from Florida to New England including NYC and Miami would be damaged. All these volcanoes are due to be ACTIVATED DURING THE TRIBULATION. Only God is holding it back now.

Some watchers in the UK are convinced that the rescue of the Chilean miners was a sign of the coming Resurrection, particularly with the many biblical numbers associated with the event ,not least 33. The Lord Jesus was 33 at the time of His resurrection. A symbolic number of the church at the beginning of her life at Pentecost was 120…the no. in the upper room. Symbolic number at the end of the age when the Bridegroom returns and our “fast” is broken but the “net” is not… John 21 is 153. You do the Math!! Thank you for this excellent letter! What I find interesting is how the ‘global elites’ are boasting of there (so called) power(s) to cause quakes and weather events etc. ‘They’ might cause much and the Lord calls ‘them’ trifle foolish men (not word for word) which it’s so amusing to see the Lords hand in everything by putting Satan and his minions in an eternal check mate. I praise God that HE would give us written prophecy (to a T) to fore warn us and to give us hope for ‘that’ Bless-ed event!

I have kept up with Yellowstone for the past three years when it first started rumbling. In many of the articles I have read about it, it was said that the caldera is approximately 1,500 miles wide and if it erupts, it would take out most of the mid west. It may be what darkens the sun as Revelation 6 describes, because when it blows, it’s gonna be mighty big. I suspect the ash alone would be carried on the wind to cover the entire nation.
I am so glad the L-rd is taking us out of the way, first.
