Pentecostal Revival: While Satan Rages

The Church is full of people who have no OIL (Holy Ghost Life) in their vessel. Many are lukewarm and soon to be spewed into the “Great Tribulation.” The only power that will Rapture and resurrect those that are ready is the power of the Holy Ghost. Listen as the Apostle Paul describes the “quickening” that will occur when the Lord descends from above. “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you” (Romans 8:11). There is no way to misunderstand that verse of Scripture. The Father will be on His throne in Heaven and Jesus Christ will stop and call for us from the midair. It is the Holy Spirit in us that changes our mortal to immortal. We will receive new bodies by the supernatural working of the Spirit. Listen to Jesus Christ warn the Laodicean church about their dead spiritual condition. “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth” (Revelation 3:15-16). There is only one possibility for the end results. This company of lukewarm believers will be cast into the Tribulation. They will have to die at the hand of the devil and his crowd, which will rule the world for the seven years. Our church world in America, and certainly in other parts of the world, is full of people that used to be on fire for the Lord. They left their first love and have been rocked to sleep by lukewarm preachers. I can hear the Holy Spirit pleading, “…Repent and do thy first works; or else I will come unto thee guickly, and remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent” (Revelation 2:5b).

  1. Exactly right, Pastor Joseph.

Our Neo-Laodicean Church today is like the body of a person who has died but still twitches with an imitation of life and God has made it very clear in the Revelation passage you cited exactly what he thinks of it. It has the form and trappings of godliness but is spiritually dead.

I personally have seen this happen to the Episcopal Church as it embraced doctrines totally against Scripture and not only has it refused to repent of its heresies, it has prided itself in them and persecutes those of its members which have refused to yield. The sad part is, what has happened to this denomination is happening to most of the organized church.

Without the operation of the Holy Spirit, neither church nor individual can know the truth or be saved.

Yet this in itself is another confirmation of Bible Prophecy which said this very thing would occur in the Last Days.

By the way, Pastor Joseph, I have noticed that you have increased the number of messages you are getting out lately, especially dealing with Prophecy. I have the feeling that you, as do I, share an increasing sense of urgency and that our redemption is indeed very close now.

  2. While I love receieving your posts, there are some difficulties with your view of the Rapture.
It appears that ONLY those who are living right and are filled with the Holy Ghost will be caught up when Jesus comes in the air. According to I Thes. 4:13-18, the ONLY requirement for having a part in the “catching away” is “if we believe that Jesus died and rose again(i.e. the Gospel).
Every child of God will have his or her part in the Rapture. To use Rev. 3:16 – the spewing out of the lukewarm saints – into the Tribulaiton period is really a stretch and then to revevrt back to Rev.2:5b to prove a point of “works” is not good sound Biblical exegesis. In fact, Rev.3:19 states that those “lukewarm” ones are LOVED and encouraged to repent and avoid the chastisement which was forthcoming. We have to remember that it is at the BEMA seat that our works will be judged and some will stand there with no reward because of shabby living. God always settles the score in the end and if you follow your line of thinking regarding those who are raptured, how do we go about be assured that we are in that number of worthy of having a part?

    God bless you!

  3. That at the end of the Great Tribulation. Matt.24:29-31 Immediately AFTER the TRIBULATION of those days ect, verse 30 and then shall appear the Son of man in heaven ect. verse 31 And He shall send His angels with a great sound of thje trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect, ect. So your saying God elect that went threw the Tribulation have not the Holy Spirit until He comes. You who never celebrated any of Jesus Feast Days but man made easter, good fridays, and christmas telling others to repent. When you add things to God Torah that all man made. Read lev.26 for changing Jesus Torah. Verse 16 Jesus gives the world Terror. Jesus gives the world abortion in verse 22. For wild beasts can also be called abortion doctors among you which shall rob you of your children. Out of Jesus love and mercy for those children it would have been better they not be born. Then to be train up like the world. will strvation verse 20 comes cause the chruch to keep Jesus Feast Days and 7th day Sabbath.

  4. We might also want to visit Matthew 25:1-13 which gives credence to that sermon :

“And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.” Matthew 25:10

    Even so, come, Lord Jesus

  5. Dear Pastor Chambers,

Ed is correct you are prolific as of late, Rev 19:10 The witness of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy..
Dan 12:3 and they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Each Christian recieves gifts of the Holy Spirit, until the Lord returns never stop using your gifts Pastor. I pray for you every day we need to keep awake!

    God Bless

  6. covenant is a solemn promise to engage in or refrain from a specified action. It is commonly found in religious contexts, where it refers to sacred agreements between God and human beings.

This being the definition of the word covenant, I am going to go out on a limb as to what the covenant with Israel might contain.

A bit off topic…me thinks rapture happens “after” these thing:

Since AC will confirm the covenant as the world leader, I am assuming the False prophet is also on the scene and there has already been a one world religion implemented. However, the AC allows the Jewish people to continue to worship their God instead of the God(s) of the world.

I agree with L.A. Marzulli where he states the Great Lie or Deception will come from our space demons where they will debunk Jesus, take credit for creation and call themselves Gods (or the foolish sheeple will call them Gods). But the Jews will not, they will not worship or follow these creatures from space which will anger the other nations, they will call the Jews trouble makers and want to revolt against the Jews for not following the rest of the world….then comes the covenant.

  7. Being “spewed” out of Jesus mouth doesn’t simply imply lack of “rewards” @
the Bema Seat. This is a salvation issue. These Laodiecan minded people
think they have need of nothing yet they don’t have Christ. Yes, they are
warned & Jesus is still knocking to come in but we sure don’t get the
overall impression that as a whole they let Him in.

We are saved by grace though faith in Jesus Christ. These Laodiceans don’t think
they need anything because they are operating w/their own set of ideas/works instead
of knowing Christ of the Bible & following & trusting in Him.

I’m so tired of Christians being blind to the fact that not everyone who professes to
knows Christ is a truly operating & walking in the Spirit. Lets all open our eyes and
look around…..There are ENTIRE denominations which are so far removed from the Christ
of the Bible that the people have no idea who God is. We can’t read hearts but I truly
doubt that very many people in these Churches are even saved. They don’t even get fed the
Word of God & if they do it’s so picked apart it’s almost unrecognizable.

Tommy, The Demons believe that Jesus died and rose again ~ then you must be telling us they are
all saved as well. Believing to the point of salvation means being a hearer of God’s word & a doer also which leaves much of today’s Churchanity in dire straights & in a far more precarious position that just loosing some “rewards”.

James 2:19 You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror.

  8. There is very much talk about the rapture these days. To be caught up to be with the Lord is surely what I am longing for. But I have studied this matter so many times in the word and I realized if you want to know when the rapture occurs (time line wise) you must know when the 1st resurrection occurs.
The Lord gave me a dream about these “sheep” that think the are saved and they are not. The Lord told me to “pray for my sheep without ceasing.” Please pray for them. The Lord loves them and many will not make it.

    In Christ, Sarah

  9. least.

If after this you remain unconvinced, well, I expect there’s nothing more to be said.

    Response to Jamie:

Thanks for the mention. I myself have felt an urgency since 2002 to become more “Bible-literate” especially regarding Prophecy. The passing years have certainly confirmed this to be the right thing to do!

  10. I have to agree with Tommy, our salvation cannot depend on our works also as it is then no longer grace, but grace + works & this is contrary to scripture. Belief in Christ is putting your trust in Him & not in your works or your “good life” not just a matter of believing as the demons do. It is all a matter of trust. Where is your trust? In your good works & good life or is it in Christ who paid once for all time the penalty for your sin? The question then is “Has He paid for your sin or not” I cannot believe that people & preachers then still want to add conditions for salvation, in so doing they have missed the point completely for the work of Christ is complete & finished. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ & you will be saved, this is a promise made by God the Father.

    Dear Mike,
This ministry believes in the whole Word of God. Read this Scripture in James 2:17-20. Hell is going to have a multitude that justified their sins on the basis of faith. “The pure in heart shall see God” and no one else. The truth is that we are saved and delivered from sin by faith and by grace, not by works. We are saved from sin not in sin.

“Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? (James 2:17-20) James was a half brother of Christ and became a key leader in the church of Jerusalem

Free grace is a devil’s lie!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. I must agree with Mike Roodt and Tommy. Although Demons believe there is a God and Christ, they turned against him, therefore are not in Christ. If we repent and ask Jesus into our hearts(confess with our mouths)and believe he is the son of God and died for us(believe in our hearts), then we are “SEALED” by the holy spirit. That sealing is unbreakable. Although many Christians do not live a Godly life, or they come and go, they are still sealed. No Christian Saint has ever or will ever live a life free of sin. It is not up to us to decide what is sinful, and if one sin is greater than another. We are still going to sin until Jesus returns for us. The Saints judgement of works at the BEMA seat is God’s judgement on how they lived their lives for him, and used their gifts for him. Some will have little or no rewards, and some of us will have great and greater rewards. It would be impossible for sealed Saints to not go in the Rapture because they had not Prayed enough, went to the right Church, witnessed enough, etc, – this is basing salvation on works and teaching that those raptured are chosen based on works. That is a false teaching. If this teaching “were” true, then who is to say (what human is to say) how much is enough. This is a catholic myth and one of the teachings wrong with the catholic religion. (Plus many other So called religions.) Remember the the Bible Scripture – By Grace you are saved and not by works, so that no man may bost. Grace is a free gift, but we must choose to take / accept that free gift – thus securing our Salvation. Thanks and have a blessed day.

  12. Dear Pastor Chambers,

    On the other hand…

Jesus told us to remember Lot’s wife.
    Judas Ichariot choose Satan.
Jesus calls and they reply: not now Lord I have 5 new Oxen, not now Lord I have new property, not now Lord I have a new spouse.
Jesus says I never new you. (when they say we cast out demons in your name).
Make sure the Light in you is not Darkeness, for then how great is the Darkness.

If the Holy Spirit brought those to remembrance for me within a few minutes, as well as, each of us is to “WORK OUT OUR OWN SALVATION with fear and trembling”. Phillipians 2:12 KJV

My point is that we can make generalities or specifics of any text and end up debating the word of god to our own demise, Both are right, to those whom seek our Lords righteousness, Grace & Salavation and to those whom seek their own gain, the fate of Lots wife, Ananias & Saphira, and the many who find the broad gate and we pray may God have mercy upon all of us.

    God Bless my Christian Bretheren
