Jerusalem will be the center of the darkest period ever to occur on this earth. The Bible calls it by at least three terms: Jacob’s Trouble, The Great Tribulation, and The 70th Week of Daniel. All of these descriptive terms are speaking of the same seven years. Before this period can begin, the Rapture of the saints must occur. We call this the Pre-Tribulation Rapture. There are several views on this subject, but the Pre-Tribulation view is fully supported in Scripture. The recent push coming out of our government in Washington, D.C., makes a case for the nearness of the end. There have been previous efforts to force Israel to compromise, but the present push by President Obama has taken a new tone. It appears that Israel may no longer have a friend in the White House. If this proves to be true, it makes God’s Word come into focus, “For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city” (Zechariah 14:2). Jerusalem has one additional Holocaust, and then the city and all Israel will be redeemed. Two-thirds of all Jews living during this seven years will die by the fury and hatred of the Antichrist’s reign of terror. “And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third part shall be left therein” (Zechariah 13:8). Then, all Israel shall be saved and Jerusalem shall become the capitol of the whole earth. Let’s look at that next week (April 10, 2010).

It is not just the Jews who are hated. The true believers are also hated. With the end
of the church age in 1988 and the beginning of the Great Tribulation the same year, we need
to prepare for the soon return of Christ. God’s Word tells us that Christ is going to
return in the clouds for the elect on May 21, 2011 and the final day of the world is on
October 21, 2011. Now that God is finishing the word of the third covenant (Hebrews 8:7-13;
Romans 9:28)and since the seals have been opened that both the Old Testament Prophet Daniel
(Daniel 12:4) and the apostle John talk about (Revelation chapters 5 through 10)many words
have changed. The word Jew as it is mentioned in both the Old and New Testaments are now
talking about the true believers. The church is now known by names as Babylon (Revelation
18:2, 4) the woman (Revelation 17:4), the Mother of Harlots (Revelation 17:5) the queen
(Revelation 18:7). Be prepared for the return of Christ in less than fourteen months.

So true… Israel’s destiny is set… she will go through Jacob’s Trouble to find the Messiah.
Many will perish in due time, 2/3 will be cut off & die & only 1/3 survived like you mentioned in Zech. 13.8-9 Currently in Israel there are about 6 million Jews, in the US there is about another 6 million. If everyone from America is regathered to Israel then the slaughter will be great. Another terrible holocaust will happen to them before Christ return to rescue them & usher in the Millennium.
So sad… only if they turn to the Lord now. Pray for the Jews to turn to Christ now. The 2/3 will proportion will be smaller.
Alas, their destiny is fixed unless they look to Jesus, the Author of Salvation.

Pre-tribulation is not fully supported by scripture. Just like easter and christmas are not supported by scripture. Jesus raised from the grave Saturday evening. Put in the grave Passover Wed. evening. 3 days and 3 nights gives you Sat. evening. Sunday morning 4 nights. Just like when the rapture take place. It takes place when the whole world is in darkness. Matt.24:29 of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, ect. He comes as a thief in the night to the whole world. For the last few month of the tribulation their is no day time light. One more reason why people know not what day or hour He comes. For He comes at the Feast of Trumpets. Feast means appointed times. Feast of Trumpets is celebrated 2 days and also called no man knows the day or hour it comes. Thess.5:4 tells us that we are no in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. The reason for the tribulation is to cause His people to live by ever word of God. To bring His people in unity as one in Him, [Jesus prayed in John 17:21] He also prayed that we should not be taken out of the world in John 17:15. For we are grafted into one tree as one body under Christ. For a house divided cannot stand. For today we have many divided houses in Christ. Making up their own beliefs. Passover not only about the cross and the blood but about overcoming the Great Tribulation. need to go to (removed) and (removed) and learn truth. For The Truth set you free.

You are wrong on your rejection of the Pre-tribulational RAPTURE but right about the day Christ was crucified and raised.

Kim, I agree with you, but the Church has not gotten it right and this is just a reflection of that.
Instead of celebrating the pagan “Easter” the church should be celebrating Passover and our Passover Lamb, Jesus/ Yeshua. The way the Church has divided itself from the Jews and the
Biblical Feast is wrong and part of this problem. Study God’s Feast and you will see where
the problems originate.
How sad that we the church is to go into all the world and preach the gospel, to the JEW FIRST,,but the hate for the JEWS is growing world wide while the church even supports the enemies of Israel and of G-d, the very ones G-d said would be CUT OFF forever. Lot’s of blood will be on the churches hands. and G-d also said, IF I, punish my beloved, how much more you..but the church refuses to heed G-d’s word..In the last book of Isaiah G-d speaking of the NEW Jerusalem.. I am coming to destroy all those enemies of Israel and MY enemies and those who eat swine. the church doesn’t want to believe truth. and have changed the word of G-d to no effect. He tells us if we change one dot or title, we are cursed. How many bibles and interpetations do we have?? Now they plan to take the book of Rev from it..saying it has been fulfilled. I don’t know the mind of G-d as HE tells us but if when He says, He will punish the ones against Israel if HE punishes HIS chosen, maybe in the tribulation?…not that they would loose salvation but the Jews is the root,if it is dead, so are we..because Israel will own the Olive Tree forever. We are grafted in, did not replace..looking at the book of Hosea..can you see, where the story shows G-d is coming back to remarry Israel ! The true church is HIS BRIDE..Changing the word adoption wont work..when we are adopted we are part of the family who adopted us, not the world. G-d’s word is TRUTH..and HE warned of apostasy as being last days prophecy, and also the hate for the Jews world wide..people like to believe it is Israel who causes trouble, but we all know it is Islam..The fact G-d told us the end from the beginning, Geneses 12:3 as to who is cursed, and if the church would keep reading..they would find out the land of Israel and their redempion is a forever covenant. HE IS NOT A Covenant breaker. and if the church thinks G-d is, why are they so sure they are saved??? G-d bless you for speaking truth
