Look Up, He’s Coming Again

There are two primary Bible subjects that the enemy hates with a fury: the Pre-Tribulation Rapture and Biblical separation from this world. If a minister will leave these two subjects alone, he will be ignored by the devil. My great text for this message is found in Titus. It really is a marvelous text. First, Paul deals with grace because grace alone prepares us for living, dying, or going in the Rapture. According to the words Paul spoke to Titus, grace does two things. First, it brings salvation because there is no other means of saving power. We are saved by grace alone because no one can earn His cleansing work. But, grace also changes our lives from sinful living to holy living. Here’s how Paul said it, “Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world” (Titus 2:12. The words that Apostle Paul used next are breathtaking. It would be wise for every Christian to study this Scripture. “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13). The first two words were one word in the original language. It meant to be possessed with the expectancy of His return. Such a believer has eyes only for Him and the abiding joy to soon be in His presence. No wonder the Apostle includes the reminder that this wonderful grace set us free from the worldly life and purifies our heart to Him alone. There are so few Christians today that live a separated life. The two subjects that we must remember is His “Blessed Hope” and our pure and peculiar walk. If we belong to Him, we are different from this world.

  1. Since the Great Tribulation began on May 21, 1988 we are now in that Great Tribulation
period that we learn about in Matthew 24:21, 29, and it will come to an end for the elect
(true believers) on May 21, 2011 when Christ returns for His own on that date (according to
the Bible). We will be meeting Him in the clouds if we believe the entire Bible, including
the fact that we are told when Christ’s return would be. We also know that the world will
end five months later on October 21, 2011 according to the Bible (see also Revelation
    9:5, 10).

Pastor Chambers, I am delightfully listening to your sermon, “Look Up, He’s Coming Again!” on my computer. What you preach is food for my soul and a fiery ignition to my spirit. I love the words you read from THE HOLY BIBLE, God’s own divinely inspired–“GOD-BREATHED” WORD. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. (John 1:1-4).

I love your preface that “We will meet the Lord in the air and the Father at His Throne.” Jesus Christ is now our one and only Great High Priest, who sits at the right hand of our Father in heaven, acting as our sovereign advocate, or sole attorney, with His Father, pleading our case before Him whenever we sin and confess our sins to our God. “Father, I have already paid the price in full for that sin that Nancy just confessed to You/Me.”

When you explain that there is no salvation from certain damnation except through the grace of God, you reinforce our faith in the fact that not a single one of us can ever be good enough or perform a sufficient quantity/quality of righteous works to earn us admittance into eternity with Jesus Christ. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God–Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:8-10)

As you read to us from Titus, God Almighty speaks through His Apostle, Paul, divinely appointed to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to the gentiles (non-Jewish people). “Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.” (Titus 2:12) Paul lays forth our Lord Jesus Christ’s guidelines to the young, the old, the men, and the women for living a life of righteousness and holiness walking in meekness and lowliness as servants unto the Righteous, Sinless One, and to one another.

As we join to sing the familiar song, “We owed a debt we could not pay; He paid a debt He did not owe”, we have in mind Jesus Christ, who actually became the only acceptable sin-offering for us. This is the Son of God–God the Son, who suffered on the cross the agony of hellfire and damnation that all of us humans deserve to suffer eternally because we inherited Adam’s original sin nature. Without Jesus’ supreme sacrifice in the pouring forth is His righteous blood and His enduring the pain of His bodily propitiation for our sins, there would be no remission–no pardoning–whatsoever, for our sins.

“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy [Spirit], Which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ, our Savior, That being justified by His grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” (Titus 3:5)

Pastor Chambers, I respect you as being, like unto the man of whom The Bible states, “The LORD hath sought him a man after His own heart…” (I Samuel 13:14b) and “When He [the LORD] had removed him [i.e. King Saul] He raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also He gave testimony, and said, I have found David, the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart…”. (Acts: 13:22b) I believe that our Creator still is seeking after “a man after His own heart”.

There remain yet in our midst children and youths, men and women who share somewhat in this similarly rare, but potential honor, as being like unto one “…after His [God’s] own heart”. Unquestionably, those numbers are fast dwindling away–so close as we are to the ultimate fulfillment of Jesus’ terminally recorded words from heaven spoken to the Apostle John, banished for life to exist as an aged prisoner persecuted for Christ’s sake on the Isle of Patmos, a small Greek Island, in the Aegean Sea. In the next-to-the-last verse in the final book of the Bible, Christ Jesus says, “Surely, I come quickly”. (Revelation 22:20b) Apostle John, immediately following his Lord and Master’s concluding statement, inserts an echo, adding his own heart’s desire, “Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” (Revelation 22:20c)

It doesn’t get any better than that! “Even so, come, Lord Jesus”!

I am 74 years old. For the first and only time in my life in January 2009 my Heavenly Father gave me a vision of these words. Jesus Christ is Coming Soon. As soon as I read the words they disappeared. The last great sign for a pregnant mother that the baby is on the way out is the breaking of the waters. The waters have broken for the Coming forth of the Sons of Yahweh. Here in Australia and overseas there have been record flooding rainfalls, also thousands of Muslims coming to our LORD Yeshua as the last of the Gentiles making complete the number in the Kingdom. Everything that is happening, both financially and earthquakes with volcanos is telling us time is short. JESUS CHRIST IS COMING SOON.

  5. Ummm, James, the trib lasts for seven years; it couldn’t have started in 1988. And that’s the entire Bible; the timing is best explained in Daniel. No one knows when it will start, but the Bible is pretty specific about how long it will last.
