Jesus Is Coming “UNAWARES”

Jesus is Coming “UNAWARES.” The coming of Jesus Christ to Rapture His Saints “UNAWARES” is the Lord’s warning to His world. We must focus on the word “UNAWARES.” Jesus Christ was burdened for His followers. The Lord was carefully announcing what was going to come upon this whole earth. It is very apparent that the multitudes do not want to hear the bad news. You cannot see the spiraling of wickedness and the arrogance of people that live worldly and unconcerned and not know something is about to occur. The Lord emphasizes that we can escape the sorrows and heartbreak if we will “take heed to ourselves.” His very words are overwhelming, “And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man” (Luke 21:34-36). One very important truth is this: At the moment of His coming nothing can be done to correct your life. You will be ready or you will be left. There will be no time to repent, go get the oil of anointing, or ask forgiveness. Remember the ten virgins, “Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut” (Matthews 25:1-2:6,10). My friends, get ready!!!!!!!!!

DEAR SIRS, MARANATHA ¡ THE LORD BLESS YOU ALL, ALTHOUGHT THE THOUGH IS AMAZING AND
WONDERFUL IT IS ALSO SCARY AT THE SAME TIME, BECAUSE THE EVIL ONE IS TEMPTING EVERYONE
EVERY WAY AND ALL TIMES.MAY THE LORD HELP US AND GIVES US STRENG AND PATIENCE.
MAY G,D BLESS YOU ALL ¡¡¡¡¡

  2. In ancient times, oil poured on the head was for anointing. But to me, ,, oil in our ‘lamps’
is symbolic of light verses outer darkness.
Maintaining ‘oil’ comes from being able to hear the Holy Spirit for direction. This requires
closness w/ the Lord,, in our prayer closet, and in the Word. Maybe the parable of the 10 virgins
reflects on believers in the last days who become complacent, waiting for the Groom. We have on our clothing of righteousness, and are excited about the time, but had rather nap than worry about our oil running low. This should concern us all. Was Jesus saying to have EXTRA oil? How many of us feel that we do? I don’t. Maybe we should give more thought to the meaning of this parable
considering the day we live in. It makes you wonder if some who do make it to New Jerusalem, will have missed the Wedding Supper of the Lamb? Could that be possible, Joseph?

  3. math 24:44″For this reason you also must be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.
ASV mat 24:44 44 Therefore be ye also ready; for in an hour that ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Don’t be a THINK NOT — the LORD JESUS IS COMING — WATCH and PRAY

  4. I always try and keep my thoughts pure. I always repent if there is anything I can think of that I did. When things make me mad I try to be cool and fair. But our Salvation is through what Jesus did not what we do…. Not really getting the oil thing. I’ll just stay strong in my faith as always (I love Jesus) and I will keep doing the best I can.

  5. We are told we will not know the day or the hour, but we will know the “season”.
We need to be obedient and seek him with all our hearts.

  6. “And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your herats be overcharged with
surfeiting [overindulgence in eating and drinking], and drunkenness, and cares
of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares”(Luke 21:34).

True enough! That is exactly what the Holy Bible tells us. So we can see that if we do not get hung up on the pleasures of this world and do get into God’s Word and dig deeply from front to back we CAN know when Jesus is going to come without his arrival taking place as a surprise to us. The Bible clearly tells us (but not easily to find–the Bible is a difficult Book to understand) that Jesus Christ is coming on May 21, 2011 and that the world is going to end five months later (see Revelation 9:5, 10) on October 21, 2011.

  7. Are you really a wise virgin? Do you abide under the shadow of the Almighty? For Yahweh Feast Days are shadows of things to come. Are you keeping man made feast days like easter and christmas as the foolish virgins. Your actions prove what you believe. Changing Yahweh commandments makes you faithless in Yahushua and His Father Yahweh.

  8. I have had the opportunity in the past few week to witness the truth of His soon appearing and the need to prepare ones self with salvation readiness. The way God is orchestrating all events all at once is breath taking amazing! The suspense is overwhelming to say the least at times and is becoming more dramatic as we near the moment to departure. Pray, stay in the word, work for the Kingdom and keep your eye on the prize. Check in with Joseph our brother Chambers for more truth of course… God Bless you R.B.

  9. Blessed be those that WATCh, for HE will gird HIMSELF and attend to them at the table of the Bride.
For laid up for us in Heaven is a crown of righteousness.
On the hearts of the watchers their is laid an unction, this is the season, this is the time and we are the Terminal Generation – talk NOW to your unsaved brothers and sister who the SPIRIT places on your heart – make right with the LORD in the rapidly diminishing time of grace!
Maranatha – HE Comes – Maschiagh Nagid – JESUS CHRIST

  10. First of all, Pastor Joseph, I want to wish you and kin a blessed Thanksgiving.

Next, I want to provide yet another piece of evidence about how soon our departure might be:

Luke 21:28 And when these things [all the signs Jesus previously mentioned in chapter 21 of Luke] begin [The word “begin” I think is particularly relevant here.] to come to pass, then look up and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. [Bracketed sections added.]

Is it possible that by this time next year we may be living in the New Jerusalem? I believe it is well within the range of probability as we look upon today’s current events.

But even though we can’t know for sure exactly when this will happen – we do know for sure that one day it will.

  11. The greatest gift to our L-rd is to love Him and always go to him in prayer and thanksgiving. And it is true that there is much to tell us in the Feasts and Festivals. G-d has written how He hates paganism and traditions of men. We were grafted into the Olive Tree, and did not replace the Jews. S’mas is pagan and so is the words Easter. People need to find out where they both came from. and also need to realize that Yeshua , Jesus was born six months after John the Baptist. To say the church has always done this or that is a lie. The only One who overcame the world the flesh and the devil is our L-rd. I pray people read every word, and not continue to step over any. The very least we can do. In John He tells us that NO ONE can take us out of His Hand that the Father gave Him. Not even Satan unless one wants to believe that Satan can sic…..Yeshua Jesus said any discipline was here not on the other side of Jordan. He is coming for the ones who Belive as HE told His Deciplies..He is coming !!! G-d bless you Melvin and all of those who put their trust in HIM

  12. Dear Joe Chambers,

It seems that you teach the PARTIAL RAPTURE THEORY. Isn’t Christ supposed to take all of his people, not just the strong one. If you look at what happened with Lot before the BOMBING OF SODOM AND GOMORRAH. Lot is a very weak saint who was tied down by sin, but was delivered because God consiered him to be one of his. Lot is an example of what the weakest Christians are like. He was bailed out. He did lose everything he had exept his too daughters. I beielve even the weakest Christians will be take along with the strongest ones. Whe must all stand at the Judgement Seat Of Christ. We still need to be watchful. Those who were not watchful must still stand in front of Jesus, but will lose a lot of rewards at the Bema Seat Of Christ. To teach Partial Rapture is to BASE SALVATION ON WORKS. Salvation is 100% grace. It is not of works lest any man should boast. Salvation depends entirely on your accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior. Not even 1% works. Every CHristian has there weak moments. Our lives are like roller-coasters. We all stumble badly from time to time. What if the Lord comes right after you stumble, but before you had a chance to recover? Will the Lord leave you behind because you fell and got hurt? If your child falls down and hurts himself, would you leave him behind. No. You help him to get back up on his feet. No wone is watchful at every minute of the day.
As for the five foolish virgins, these were really just ones who made a profession of faith but were never really save. They have not really accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, but were really a buch of Religios peole that attended physical churches. The Laodiceans that the Lord condemned are not saved at all but made a profession of faith. Most of our denominations are fille primarily with unsaved people. Now the Conservative churches like Baptists and Pentacostals, and other conservative denominations may have a higher percentage of their members as saved people, because they teach the real gospel that is more likely to lead people to Christ. While liberal churches that teach the PORK-BARREL PROSPERITY GOSPEL which does not lead people to Christ. So a higher percentage of their peple may be unsaved because they never heard the real true gospel, or do not believe the Virgin Birth or the Resurection. Their pastors deny the divinity of Jesus. So thye do not lead their members to Jesus. So they coul very well have 95% of their members unsaved. When the rapture comes, high percentages of members of Liberal dennominatios will be left behind, because thei ministers have not led them to the Lord. In Conservative churches the ministers are more likely to aggressively preach the real Gospel, and to not bow to the false DOGMAS OF POLITICAL CORRECTNESS. So their memberships may have a higher percentage of saved people.
Salvation is entirely by Jesus, and is not of our works.

There is a link on Rapture Ready titled KEPT FROM THE HOUR. CHAPTER EIGHT THE PARTIAL RAPTURE THEORY It shows that All Chistians, not just the strong one, but also the weakest (remember Lot?) ones too. No Christans will be left behind. Se this link

  13. We still haven’t seen the mark of the beast yet – we should see that first before the coming of the Lord.

  14. Pastor Joseph,

THANK YOU!! I really needed to hear your sermon tonight! We ALL need to be reminded of how close the end of the age is and therefore how much closer the rapture is. Like you said in your sermon, we should ALL be so EXCITED and JOYFUL that we rush out and tell others that the KING IS COMING!! That is something I have not done alot of and it’s shameful in front of my God.

Thank you for passionately and joyously speaking the truth.

God Bless you and your ministry,

    David Rohm

    MY FRIENDS:
If everyone that is ready is going, how can it be partial?

    Joseph Chambers

  15. Keith,

I don’t believe that Pastor Joseph was teaching partial rapture (Pastor, I don’t want to speak for you, so please correct me if I’m wrong). I think his message is that the rapture is something so joyful/magnificent/wonderful that we should be excited about it and WANT to hear it preached – that, because of its imminence, we should be motivated to share it with others.

If you’re truly saved, you’re going up (kicking and screaming for those that don’t hold to the Pre-Trib rapture!! 🙂 ). While works do not save anyone, a believer should still want to be ready in that they’ve told as many people as they can that time is running out. Besides the obvious warning to non-believers, being ready may also refer to believers earning crowns at the Bema Seat Judgment.

    Just my thoughts…

    David Rohm

  16. No where in the bible does it say to except Jesus and than go sin. As matter of fact it says quite the opposite. The word of God tells us he is not a partaker of evil. Sin is evil. He cannot and will not help you or answer you when you are living in sin. If he turned his back on Christ his son when he bore our sins. Do you not think he will turn his face from us. We need to stop making excuses for what our flesh wants. The word of God tells that anyone who practices sin will not enter into the kingdom of God. He said it, not me. Read Jerimiah and before you say that is old testament and does not apply ask yourself if it is ok to steal or murder. Jesus said not one dot or tittle will pass from the law till the end comes. Basically what I am saying is yes there is a rapture but those who are living in sin no matter who you say you believe in. If God were to allow you into his Kingdom that would make the death of Jesus a vain event. Remember those who Jesus told to depart for he never knew them even though they were casting out demons in his name. Becareful my friends and who you listen to. Joeseph Chambers is a man of God. But always test the best with the word. Even Joe will tell you that.

  17. If you are ready and waiting, you will not be distracted by the world, and you will hear the “Voice of the archangel” and the “trump of God”.

Many are growing complacent, many never were saved, many are waiting for “some more evidence”, etc.

Many will NOT make it in the Rapture, but will be saved during the tribulation period… even those who are in churches now. Many churches don’t teach the truth, but we already knew that!

Revelation 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. 11And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, 12Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.

13And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? 14And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, ****** These are they which came — out of great tribulation, — and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. ****** 15Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. 16They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. 17For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

As proof above, not all that will eventually come to the truth and be saved, are ready when the Rapture occurs!

    Kara,

The “Mark” is at least 3-1/2 years into the 7 year tribulation. We are Raptured not only before the 7 years begin, but prior to that. Here’s why…. The tribulation does *not* start at the moment of Rapture. It starts when the antichrist signs a covenant with Israel. God is dealing with the “saved” Christians at this time, and then He will turn His attention back to the Jews after the Rapture and continue throughout the tribulation period, then the battle of Armageddon occurs and the end is brought to pass.

Elijah comes to the Jews before the tribulation (Malachi 5Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: 6And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.), then later the antichrist rises out of the ashes of those judgement times brought on by Elijah. So…. we leave in the Rapture, then Elijah brings a period of judgement on earth, then the tribulation starts. Scripture is clear on all of this.

Study about the various positions taken about the timing of the Rapture. There are many: Pre-Trib, Mid-Trib, Post-Trib, Partial-Rapture, etc. Scripture only supports the Pre-Trib version. You’d have to rip out large chunks of scripture, and deny the very basic character of God’s early protection (Noah, before the rain started, Lot, before the Fire and Brimstone fell, etc.) Jesus Himself said through John and the Holy Spirit:

Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

It has not been designed for us to be left here. We have already escaped God’s judgement coming on this world (In Christ Jesus), and he will pull us out of here in time. Praise God.

    James,

    You said:
“The Bible clearly tells us (but not easily to find–the Bible is a difficult Book to understand) that Jesus Christ is coming on May 21, 2011 and that the world is going to end five months later (see Revelation 9:5, 10) on October 21, 2011.”

Where do you see this in your Bible? Mine doesn’t say this. And Jesus meant it to be that way. We are supposed to watch, not set a date.

I personally believe that it could very well be by May 2011, or even before, but nowhere does the Bible give dates.

You have been deceived, and need to shake off the sources that teach you these things.

  18. Mike,

We are all human. We ALL sin. With respect, you sin. To say that you do not sin would be a lie. Therefore, NOBODY would make it to heaven. When you truly believe that you are a sinner, that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for you, and that He rose again on the third day, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit until redemption. Jesus died in our place for PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE sins. We sin. We are not perfected yet, so as hard as we might try, we will sin. If you are a child of God sinning will grieve you and you will continually pray and ask forgiveness. But you will not lose your salvation.

There are too many references in scripture that clearly indicate that you can not lose your salvation:

    John 6:37-40
    John 10:27-30
    Romans 8:38-39
    Ephes. 1:13-14
    2 Cor. 1:21-22

Also, when Jesus told the guests at the reception to depart, that He never knew them, this indicates that they were never saved. They were casting out demons with the help of Satan.

    God Bless,
    David

  19. Yes, sir, the Bible DOES tell us when Christ will return. You are right, somebody IS being deceived but it is not me. It takes both Testaments to obtain the answer. The Jews don’t believe in Jesus as the Messiah so they don’t read it. The Church attendees seldom read the Old Testament because they say we are living under “Grace” not the “Law” (Incidentlly, “The Law” is the whole Bible). Here is what the Bible tells us: 2 Peter chapter two is speaking of false prophets and teachers and then it tells us about the angels that sinned and that they were cast into “hell” or “tartaroo” (this is not a place that the Bible EVER teaches that human souls will go and it is a word that comes from Greek and Jewish apocalyptic literature but not from the canonized Scripture-see Strong’s Concordance #5020). Then in verse five we read about Noah and the other seven that were saved in the Noachic flood that was brought upon the world of the ungodly. This passage continues to tell about the destruction of false teachers and it also describes them (10-222). Then we see how God is going to be mocked by those ungodly in the last day, the clarity of the coming Day of the LORD (Judgment Day) and of those who are mature in the teachings of God’s Word. Then, notice right in the middle of all this, in chapter three. We are told as believers that we are not to be ignorant of “this one thing.” This one thing is: “one day is with the LORD as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day” (3:8). Whatever does THAT mean? Check out various commmentaries and you will see that THEY do not even agree what this verse means. Many ignore it completely. Continuing with Noah and the flood, turn back to Genesis chapter seven verses 4, 11, and chapter eight verse four. In verse four God said to Noah, “For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and egvery living substance that I have made will I destory fro off the face of the earth.” Notice that the dates of when the flood began (verse 11) and when the Ark landed (8:4)are given to us by God. Using the Bible’s calendar (Genesis 4:25 on through chapter eleven in large part, but continuing through the whole Bible)we know that the world was created in 11,013 B.C. If we take the seven days given in Genesis 7:4 and change it to 7,000 years (2 Peter 3:8) we find that the date become May 21, 2011. Now the verse in 2 Peter makes perfect sense. Look at the middle chapter of the Bible (Psalm 118), To its left, (117) is the shortest chapter of the Bible. To its right (119) is the longest chapter of the Bible. The middle verse (118:8) reads: “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man (or James). Don’t trust man or what I say, trust God and what His Word tells us. Also note the middle of the Bible Psalm 118:8 has two very important numbers (every fifth verse in the Bible has a number). The numbers are 88 for 1988 when 1) the church age ended, 2) the Great Tribulation began and 3) when satan was released from his prison (Revelation 20:7). The number eleven (11) signifies the year 2011 when Christ will return for the true beleivers (May 21, 2011)and when the world will end (October 21, 2011). Don’t trust me. Do trust God’s Word.

  20. How can you set dates (even by using God’s Word) when Jesus plainly stated that no one knows the day or hour of his return? I believe date setting to be wrong because some people would wait until april or may of next year to repent and be saved, and would be completely lost if your date was wrong and he came earlier than that. God bless everyone

    Dear Jeanette,

Sorry, no date setting in this or any post I have ever done. It is wrong to set a date for the Lord’s return. You must have me confused with someone else. Please listen again!!!
    Blessings!

    Joseph Chambers

  21. Watch & pray… are the Key words.

Shut doors are hard to open like the parable of the Ten Virgins.

Shut doors are hard to open like the story of Noah’s Ark.
None can get in… no old people, no sick or challenged people, no man or woman, no youths and no toddlers nor even babies… none survived the Great Flood.

Watch & pray… “..accounted worthy to escape…. worthy to stand before the Son of man.” as quoted by Pastor Joseph Chambers
