The Bridegroom and the Bride in Waiting

Sunday, January 27th, 2008

This Sermon out of "The Song of Songs" that we call in our English text, "The Song Of Solomon" is most important. The Holy Ghost gave this perfect text to show the theme of the Bible as the King of Kings that awaits and looks with joy to the day of the Marriage Feast. The central message is the Bridegroom, the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bride is revealed as His Spouse that ravishes His Heart. She is called a Garden, a Spring shut up or a Fountain sealed. The Bridegroom Is called "The Rose of Sharon and the Lily of the Valley." The sadist chapter is chapter five. There we see the Bridegroom at the door of His coming, but the Bride is full of excuses and misses His time of visitation. The five foolish virgins of Matthews 24 is the New Testament picture of this same sadness. Many, even a multitude will miss His coming rapture of the saints. PLEASE LISTEN!!!

The Mysteries of Our God and His Holy Scriptures

The Holy Ghost is the Spirit Of Revelation. "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. (I Cor. 2:14) Every Believer is in desperate need to know the voice of God’s Spirit. Jesus said of His Sheep that they know His voice and others they would not follow. The present church world has full heads and empty hearts. The results of that is they follow almost anyone that names the name of Christ. The religious world has joined the One World Church and unless you are lead by the Holy Ghost you are in danger of following them. Please listen to this program of warning. Next week the subject will be about the "Spirit of Conviction". No one can be saved without the activity of God’s Agent of Conviction.

The Bride of Christ

Friday, January 25th, 2008

The sweetest story in the Bible is the love of Christ for His saints and their equal abandonment in love for the Lord Jesus Christ. Never in church history has there been a greater effort by Satan to destroy this story and the undying love between these two partners. The Bride and the Bridegroom is embodies in the Biblical Book of Solomon. The Holy Ghost poured these words into King SolomonÂ’s heart. This book is at the center of the Bible because it communicated the central message. The heart of God is to redeem a Bride for His Son.

Salvation is not just to save souls from the Lake of Fire. The great redemption message is to have a family and an eternal family in an eternal city called New Jerusalem. TodayÂ’s religion has become cheap and carnal; wealth, positive thinking, worldly lifestyle, and a mega church mentality. The search for the hidden treasure of Christ-centered purity has gone the way of the flesh. The Holy Spirit of God has not left off His Divine office of searching for a Bride for the King. As I write, the Spirit is calling with the words of ancient Solomon.

His voice is proclaiming of Christ – the crucified, “I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys. As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters” (Song of Solomon 2:1-2). The call of the Spirit is to see Jesus Christ as the altogether Lovely One. He is indeed a “lily” among the “thorns of religion.” There are a thousand paths of religious confusion and human ideals that will call you away from Christ into a self-righteous deception. Never has the church world had so many voices. Jesus Christ and Him crucified call you to a life of personal crucifixion. His Bride will have nothing but a single love with all else subservient to the Master.

This love relationship between the servant and his future Bridegroom is beautiful. The Holy Spirit speaks of this call to godliness. The Lord says to His chosen, “My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land; The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away. O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely” (Song of Solomon 2:10-14).

The call is not to flee into hiding, but to abandon yourself to worship, to the Holy Scripture, and to live the separated life. Jesus Christ will be the center and joy of your life every moment of the day and night. Music of the Spirit will fill your continual thoughts and all else will be made a slave to His Kingship. The language is poetic but clearly meant to be seen as pure devotion. He wants a Bride whose praise and worship is free of all other passions.

The enemy of Jesus Christ is determined to defile this Bride and render her unfit for the wedding. This great Book would warn us of this trap that Satan has set. The Spirit warns us of the loss of this abandonment to Him and the cost it will represent. Listen carefully: “I am come into my garden, my sister, my spouse…” “Open to me…my love, my dove, my undefiled.” She answers back, “I have put off my coat; how shall I put it on?” Belated she responds but He has withdrawn himself and is gone. Even the door of her heart was laced with fragrance of His presence, but He was gone. (Read Song of Solomon 5:1-16.)

What a picture of todayÂ’s church. The music of the cross has been replaced with the music of flesh. The preacher is the servant of the crowd instead of the voice of God. The fear of God is hated and has been almost totally destroyed; yet the Bible proclaims this fear as the beginning of all knowledge. Positive attitude and positive confessions have replaced the crucified walk with God. The birthright of the church has been traded for a mess of pottage as did Esau, the firstborn of Isaac.

The voice of the Holy Ghost is calling for the willing to return to be His espoused Bride. The treasure of all treasures is to belong exclusively to Him. All the present trappings of modern religion are already our future inheritance, and even some present promises. Our joy is the separated walk toward an eternal wedding. Giving up all worldly compromise is nothing but shedding the garments of the world for the attire of the Bride. Her beauty is the beauty of “His beloved.”

Holy Boldness in Prayer by the Holy Ghost

Sunday, January 20th, 2008

The heart of the tenth chapter of Hebrews is praying until one enters behind the Veil, which Paul describes as Christ’s Flesh. This Holiest is the New Testament fulfillment of the first Testament Holy of Holies. Few Christians have learned to stay before the Lord until they experience this powerful calling. Our Churches are suffering great weakness and few souls are being converted waiting on Holy Ghost anointed prayer. Following this teaching on prayer the Apostle Paul shows in the very next Chapter the unfailing breakthrough of the kind of faith that comes out of praying through. When I was converted 56 years ago we were taught to pray until we prayed through. The results were Pentecostal and life changing. Revivals were occurring almost everywhere. Our Father is calling us to prayer until we enter the veil. (Read Hebrews 10:19-20)

The Holy Ghost is the Spirit of Truth

Saturday, January 19th, 2008

To Blaspheme truth is to Blaspheme the Holy Ghost. This is an awesome truth and it is scary. The Church has lost the fear of God and anything goes. People that use to live separated lives have sold there birthright for a dose of the world. Godly saints of the past have bought into the relative view of the Bible that nothing is wrong. These saints of yesterday are doing exactly what Esau did, they are blaspheming the Holy Spirit. They are going to be lost forever. That is the picture of the Apostate church and that is what Apostacy means. The New Age or One World church is a church world that has Blasphemed the Holy Ghost and will be satan’s church in the Seven years of the Great Tribulation.

The Spirit of Truth

Friday, January 18th, 2008

ItÂ’s breathtaking to know that the Holy Bible is intimately connected to the Holy Ghost. The Bible is not manÂ’s words or manÂ’s ideas, nor is it human wisdom or knowledge. The Bible is God-breathed and perfect in the same way that God Himself is perfect. The same Spirit that gave us the Holy Scripture is still part of that Scripture and holds the Word in His hands. The Bible is the Sword of the Spirit and is His only weapon to defeat our enemies. When the Son of God appears in the sky to defeat the Antichrist at the Valley of Megiddo, the authority of the Bible is His weapon.

The vision that Apostle John describes of the triumphant Christ is awesome, “His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God” (Revelation 19:12-15). He comes as the glorified Christ with all the trappings of His eternal office and His one weapon is a “sharp sword” with which He defeats every enemy.

Holy Scripture will not be any more powerful then than it is right now. Satan cannot cross the line drawn by truth and sealed by Divine blood. The entire prophetic future is already designed and revealed in Scripture. When men devise strange and undocumented schemes for the days ahead, they are guilty of blaspheming the Spirit of Truth. Our Father left us an absolute command not to tamper with His words. “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book” (Revelation 22: 18-19).

The Lord even spoke audibly to John as he finished the plain command above. He said, “He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus” (Revelation 22:20). One of the surest ways to blaspheme the Holy Ghost is to change or alter the Word of God. The positive aspect of this truth is that we can live in and by these words of truth everyday.

David, the sweet songwriter and King of Israel, said, “The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide” (Psalm 37:31). He also declared His unashamed faith in Holy Scripture, “The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever” (Psalm 12:6-7). The promise of God was to keep them forever.

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35). The Son of God spoke these words. The great revivals of the past were the result of men that dared to believe that truth was infallible. They treated the Bible like a paper pope, but were often condemned as idol worshippers because they believed and obeyed Scripture. One modern blasphemer called the Bible, “a dusty old book.” I believe he has already blasphemed the Holy Ghost.

This incredible Divine book is yours to trust and see the supernatural effect of believing faith. Everything of your life is predestined to be complete in believing. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified” (Romans 8:28-30).

If you will dare to believe and trust in none other, He will move swiftly to defend and fulfill His Word. His Words are His absolute will in all things. There is no true Christian outside of the Holy Bible. There is no failure inside the Holy Bible.

The Supernatural is Still Available

Sunday, January 13th, 2008

We must never forget that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. To suggest that miracles have ended and are no longer available would be like saying that the Holy Ghost has gone back to heaven. The Heavenly Father must go out of business for miracles to cease. This world would go out of control and the sea would over run the earth and the sun would fall. God is not out of business in heaven or in the universe, so why can anyone suggest He is out of business with the Saints. If miracles are over then the Bible is untrue. Well, The Bible is true, miracles are still occurring and God the Father is still the same. Lift up your head and trust God.

The Holy Ghost is the Restrainer of the Demons of Hell

Saturday, January 12th, 2008

Without the person and power of the Holy Ghost you have no protection against demons and devils. The Holy Ghost always stops the devil in his tracks when we turn a matter over to Him. Apostle Paul Wrote in the Spirit, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,,,," ( Eph. 6-12 ) We cannot win this war in the flesh. The church is in terrible trouble because this are not filled with the Spirit. Even the Pentecostals need to become Pentecostals again. The Holy Ghost is dynamite power, supernatural and omnipotence. The Spirit said, "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God…" ( II Cor. 10-4 )

Our Mind The Reservoir of Purity

Friday, January 11th, 2008

Purity begins in the mind, in the way we think. The entire appearance of an individual may be without reproach; but, if the mind is defiled, that person is unclean. Jesus Christ described this state of life perfectly. “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness. Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity” (Matthew 23:27-28). If your mind is full of dead menÂ’s bones, there is no possibility of the joy of the Lord.

The church world has its share of souls with unclean minds. They always come in two extremes. We have those that are self-righteous. They see nothing but the external reflections and weaknesses, and they spend their days discussing others. We also have those that live loose and careless and have no solid convictions about the great standards of Biblical Holiness. Both of these extremes are unclean and destructive. They develop from the absence of a pure, sanctified mind. We are desperate to pray for the “mind of Christ” in us by the ministry of the Holy Ghost.

Our mind is the source of a river. If that river is pure, it will be a river of living water exploding in joy and purity. The mind and heart is the seat of the Holy Ghost in a surrendered life. The Spirit comes to sit at the throne of your whole person and baptizes the mind until it is a reservoir of Spiritual life. Apostle Paul called this river, “joy unspeakable and full of glory.” “Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:” (I Peter 1:8). Jesus called it glory. “And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me” (John 17:22-23).

When you see the mind as the source of a river, good or bad, it should make you ready to have a pure, Holy Ghost preserved mind. This world is profoundly unclean. Ten minutes in a shopping center makes me feel the need for a bath. Less time than that in front of the television does even worse. Unclean images are extremely destructive to the mind. It is impossible not to encounter uncleanness, but you must have a Holy Ghost filter. The Blood of Jesus is the weapon that the Spirit uses to constantly purify our minds.

David prayed, “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee” (Psalm 119:11). It’s a war in the spiritual realm that we all are encountering. Apostle Paul warned us of this dark realm that we face every day. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12). He adds to the “armor” that we must wear, “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;” (Ephesians 6:18). If you do not understand that it’s a war, you are likely to lose.

One of the great truths that the Son of God gave us speaks volumes to this subject. He identified the “mind” and called it the “eye” of the soul, spirit, and body. Read this carefully: “The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!” (Matthew 6:22-23). Either light or darkness rushes out of your life depending on the “eye or mind.” If the eye is light, light and its joy fill the whole person. If it’s darkness, the darkness fills the whole person.

Hospitals and mental wards are filled with the results of “darkness in the mind.” The drug industry would suffer a magnanimous loss if America could have a Holy Ghost revival. If the Lord can find a company of saints ready to be pure in their minds and they would allow that river of Holy Ghost life to sweep their world, this revival will transform many lives. I’m getting ready. Please join me.

The Holy Ghost: Our Helper in the Spiritual World

Sunday, January 6th, 2008

The Holy Ghost is the Restrainer of wickedness. The Believer is helpless against satan without the Spirit. Even the Lord Jesus Christ subjected Himself under the authority of the Holy Spirit as our example. From Genesis to Revelation the Spirit of God and Christ has been the guard of wicked spirit to hold them at bay. The angels move in the wake of the Holy Spirit, so the Spirit and the angel become a barrier over the Universe holding the enemies of God under God’s final Word. This is our rest. We have nothing to fear if walk in obedience. We become a sitting duck when we disobey or rebel against the Word of God.
