The Holy Ghost: The Omnipresence of God

Sunday, December 30th, 2007

There is no place in God’s universe that the Holy Ghost is not. No person can commit a sin invisible from the Spirit. A perfect record is being kept of every sin, every blasphemy, every vile act of homosexuality or fornication, every evil work is all recorded. There is only one way for the Holy Ghost to leave you alone and that is when you blaspheme Him. Jesus Christ made it plain that to blaspheme Himself or the Heavenly Father can be forgiven, but to blaspheme the Holy Ghost is to never be forgiven. The eternal Lake of Fire will be the dwelling place of every soul that blasphemes the Sweet Spirit that seeks to draw you to Jesus Christ.

The Person of the Holy Ghost: Manifested the Father and the Son to the World

Saturday, December 29th, 2007

The greatest evil in the world today is the blaspheming of God. A person can blaspheme the Father or the Son of God and get forgiveness, but the moment they blaspheme the Holy Ghost the door to Grace is closed. The question is often asked why the Father and Son can be blaspheme but not the Holy Ghost. This is the greatest proof in the world of the Office of Conviction and the New Birth as given to the Spirit. The Holy Ghost is a Person with His responsibilities and the Father or the Son will not do what He alone does. When you drive away the Spirit and He no longer deals with you, Hell and the Lake of Fire is your destination. There is no hope. We are going to learn much about the Holy Ghost in the next few Weeks. Do not miss a broadcast!

Stewards of the Mysteries

Friday, December 28th, 2007

The mysteries of God are not known just by a casual reading of the Word of God. His Spirit reveals his mysteries to the person that takes time to wait unhurried in His presence. When our God and Christ becomes our passion, His mysteries will be made known to us. “The secrets of the Lord is with them that fear Him.” (Psalm 25:14) The very word “mystery” or “mysteries” is a unique word in Scripture. The word appears twenty-seven times and only in the New Testament. Its meaning is beautiful because it implies something known only by revelation. No one will ever know His mysteries except those individuals that are devoted lovers of truth.

The Son of God, rightly so, was the first to speak of His mysteries. He explained why He spoke in parables to show that His pearls of truth are not cast before those that have no heart for truth. They are not given for debate and human design but for the transformed heart. This is why putting Scripture in street language is futile humanism. It only reduces Scripture, it never elevates the readers. The disciples asked Jesus, “Why speakest thou unto them in parables?” He answered, “Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.” (Matthew 13:10-13) He did not blind their eyes; they had blinded their own eyes because they did not love truth.

Lovers of truth will never find the understanding of the Bible to be impossible. It was never meant to be cheap, but it is one of the most exhilarating experiences of human life. The true beginning point can never be other than a “Born Again” experience. If you find the Bible to be impossible for you or that it is creating in you a spirit of argument, then cease your study and wait before Him for a transformed heart. I would suggest reading the first chapter of John or at most the Book of John until you know that He has changed your heart from an unrepentant one to a surrendered one. The born-again life is a transformed life and then a deep hunger for truth takes hold of your soul. Peter said, “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby” (I Peter 2:2) Start with the milk (simple truth) and grow naturally as His Spirit works in your life. The Holy Spirit will wisely lead you into all truth. “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” (John 14:26)

The church world is desperate for godly leaders that mine the deep and life-changing truth of Holy Scripture. Apostle Paul saw ministers as “Stewards of the Mysteries of God”. (I Corinthians 4:1) If we encumber ourselves with many things, then our true stewardship is going to suffer. A man of God must not have an office, he must have a study. Our business is the “mysteries of God”, and if that becomes our life, then our life will become mighty for God. Every believer is a priest, and all of His saints should have “a love of truth” that fills their waking hours, even as they go about their God-given profession.

Saving faith is a faith that “loves truth.” The naked Bible will not save you but the love of truth will. We read in II Thessalonians of a multitude that will miss the rapture and be eternally damned. Strong delusion is prophesied of those that do not love truth. The Prophet’s words warn of an Anti-Christ spirit that is so deceiving that many will be swept away in his error. “And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the LOVE OF THE TRUTH, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12) Once the soul is open by Divine Revelation, truth will be simple to understand. Isaiah stated, “And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.” (Isaiah 35:8)

Any doctrine that is so intricate and different that it must be supported with an endless study of words and great human design is most likely to be false. Simple truth manifest by Divine revelation is the unfailing picture of the Holy Bible. The Divine Scripture is indeed profound mysteries revealed by the Holy Spirit in simple logic to save the eternal soul.

Jesus Christ: Anointed of the Holy Ghost

Sunday, December 23rd, 2007

Not only did the virgin birth make the Son of God unique, the fact that He both possessed the Holy Ghost and the Holy Ghost possessed Him was just as Divine. Here are the words of the Son of God Himself. "For He whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto Him." (St. John 3:34) We are blessed to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit and to allow the Spirit to possess us, but the Holy Spirit was Himself possessed of Christ. The submission of Christ to the Spirit was an act of His humility and and never a rule of the Divine Godhead. The church world is yet to grasp all the endless depth of our Lord and Master.

Christmas, Love It or Hate It

Saturday, December 22nd, 2007

There seems to be no middle ground with Christmas, people either love it or hate it. I’m going to try to forge a middle ground today and help reconcile people to be Christians with one another. There are people that are totally commercial, some are given to strong drink, while others are busy with kindness and goodwill. There is such a mixture that it is impossible to help all people see it equally. Many lives have had miserable experiences connected to this season. I have been so blessed that I never remember a sad Christmas. Apostle Paul settled the issue with the following Scripture. "One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind." (Romans 14:5) Please quit fussing and making yourself miserable.

His Name Shall Triumph at Last

Friday, December 21st, 2007

Never in history has the name of Jesus suffered such rejection. Great halls of government are forbidding this beautiful name from being sounded in their chambers. Bestselling authors of novels and common books are invoking this name in jest and casual talk. Right at the end of all things secular, the name that the Father honors in Divine flesh is going down in ill repute. The fallen prince, who came right out of the angelic host, is preparing his last dash to replace the King of redemption. He shall not only fail, he shall be cast out of the heavens to fight his final losing hurrah and be limited to earth.

All people living lives bond in sin and self either ignore or despise this holy name. The very term Jesus –when given in power– causes demons to tremble. The halls of greedy governments are pursuing their New World Order actually believing that lasting peace can be bought with gold. Haughty men and women are fully convinced that God is a generic term for all faiths making the name of Jesus completely unnecessary. It is all a perfect fulfillment of Holy Scripture and leaves little doubt that His appearance in the Heavens can occur at any moment. The wedding invitation has been signed in blood and is the only pass across the Gulf.

Christianity is the one and only religion that stands on the Rock. Moses saw it at the height of Mount Horab when the Father appeared to Him. The glory was so brilliant that Moses was hid in the cleft of the rock and allowed only to get a glimpse. Even the glimpse of Christ lit MosesÂ’ face until the children of Egypt could not bear to look upon Him. When we realize the glory Moses saw and know that it was only the foreshadow, we should bow in utter surrender to Him.

The Psalmist David saw Him as the Shepherd leading the chosen to the place of plenty. Still waters, green pastures, and a table spread before our enemies is the promise of the Great Shepherd. His care of His own surpasses a thousand lovers. Even death is His pavilion and He walks in the valley that leads to a land past the valley of sorrow.

Satan has no fear of man until that man learns the name above all names. All the weapons of fallen spirits that do the will of Lucifer are powerless before His name. Jesus Christ is next of kin to the Father, actually the only one that bears the FatherÂ’s likeness, and every follower of Satan trembles and cries for mercy when He appears. All that Satan stole in the garden and all the misery of his lies are soon to be fully exposed. This awesome name of Jesus will inflict the final blow and land evil in its place of everlasting fire.

Isaiah carried us into the halls of his deepest sorrows where the Father smote Him in our place. Sin was so gruesome to the heart of God that the only cure was His Son’s action as our substitute. Neither the Romans nor His own earthly kin could put Him to death so the Father drove the nails into His sinless flesh. “Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief” (Isaiah 53:10a). Both our sins and our diseases were fully atoned by our God’s awesome hand upon the very temple of His Son, named Jesus. No wonder the unconverted world cannot grasp His matchless name.

But the Son is about to shine. All the endless sins and dark deeds have never inflicted a crippling blow. His glory is just as bright as it was when it shone on the Father and SonÂ’s endless past. From everlasting, He is the Son of God Divine. Sin has done its dark deeds, but the Son shines only brighter. Human hatred has broken His heart, but love was the cure. He redeems every soul that will call in surrender on His name. He shall sit at His FatherÂ’s right hand until all His enemies are destroyed. His name shall triumph forever at last.

The River of Living Waters

Sunday, December 16th, 2007

God the Father has ordained that His Spirit, The Holy Ghost in the New Testament, is the only power of Victorious Living. The Joy of the Lord is intimately connected to the work of the Holy Ghost. We are convicted of our sins by the Spirit and we are "Born Again" by the Spirit. We are then sealed by the Holy Ghost and Sanctified by that same Spirit. I love Romans chapter eight. Read carefully! "But if the Spirit (Holy Ghost) of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you" (Romans 8:11) What Power awaits that person that is filled with the Holy Ghost.

A Biblical, Beautiful and Family Christmas

Saturday, December 15th, 2007

The devil hates Christmas. The birth of Christ was the greatest event in human history. The only acceptable sacrifice for sin had to be next of kin to the Father. There was no one in heaven or on earth that fit that role. It was the Son of God or man was lost. This sacrifice had to be spotless both in His nature and in His life. Again no one but Christ was sinless. The world that rejects the truth about the Son of God hates the Manger scene and the songs that tell the story to the world. The greatest enemies of Christmas are the cults that hold tens of thousands in sway. Every main article I found on the Web bashing this great time were these off the wall religions.

Seven Lamps of Fire

Friday, December 14th, 2007

The person of the Holy Spirit is the third dynamic and divine member of our Eternal Godhead. To rightly recognize His offices in the Trinity is to trust God with a fresh vibrancy. Most Christians have heard numerous sermons on the Father and the Son but few on the Holy Spirit. Yet, everything the Father and the Son present in redemption is manifest in the church and to the saints by the Spirit. God the Father is on His throne and the Son of God is seated at His right hand. The Spirit dwells in the church and in the temple of believers.

Jesus Christ was most enthusiastic about returning to Heaven and promised that the Teacher and Comforter would be sent in His place. The Holy Spirit never exalts Himself but exalts the Father and the Son. He must be honored by the Saints and given the mastery of our lives. Our total dependency of the Holy Ghost has one purpose and that is to allow Him to fulfill His offices assigned by the Father and the Son. We are warned not to quench Him, despise Him, grieve Him, or blaspheme Him. The ultimate sin is to blaspheme the Spirit and to do so is to be lost forever.

How can the saints be careful not to quench or grieve Him unless they understand His many wonderful expressions in our midst? A visitation of the Holy Ghost in todayÂ’s church gets scant attention from most in attendance. I remember when a whisper of His presence was honored by everyone. The Antichrist has succeeded in providing a false anointing so cheap and giddy that it is laughable. This has resulted in a loss of the sense of the sacred. We need a shattering visitation that breaks the strongholds of religion without the fear of God. The Holy Spirit and His every inspiration must be held in the highest regard.

The shattering words “seven lamps of fire burning before the throne” is the Holy Bible’s most breathtaking description of the Holy Ghost. The complete sentence reads with a clear picture of the many offices of God’s Spirit. “And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God” (Revelation 4:5).

The Holy Spirit is eternal, unlimited in power, and Holy in exactly the same degree as the Father and the Son. The most wonderful office of the Spirit is His omnipresence. He adds omnipresence to the Godhead just as Jesus adds grace and forgiveness. The Father is the eternal mind, the Son of God is the eternal word, and the Holy Spirit is the eternal manifestation. Nothing can ever escape GodÂ’s thoughts; nothing can escape the Son of GodÂ’s redemption and nothing can escape the SpiritÂ’s presence.

There are six other offices manifested by GodÂ’s Spirit and ChristÂ’s Spirit. The first is His office of omnipresence and the following six are now listed in what I perceive as their order. The Spirit of Restraint is that great limitation on evil which keeps Satan and all darkness on a leash. He is both the Spirit of Truth and the Spirit of Revelation. He is the Spirit of Conviction of all sin, righteousness, and judgment to come. He is the Spirit of Grace that converts and frees man of sin and evil control. He is the Spirit of Preservation that seals the soul that He has converted to righteousness and sustains them until the glorious hour of perfection. To search those offices of the Holy Spirit and to recognize the divine intent of each is to walk in the meadows of majesty.

The early church was deeply rooted in the meat of the Word and because of such depth, turned their world upside down. The awakening that followed on the heels of Pentecost has never been matched. The Holy Ghost created a church world that touched millions without one modern mean of communication. They were possessed of the Spirit and needed nothing else. The offices of ChristÂ’s Spirit, which came to be called the Holy Ghost, was the vicar of Jesus Christ in His every expression. When Jesus Christ is glorified as the Spirit glorified Him in the early church, nothing can stop the saints, not even the gates of hell.

When Faith Will Not Turn Loose, Back Up, Give Up or Shut Up

Sunday, December 9th, 2007

Never has Biblical faith been so utterly necessary. "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Ephesians 6:12) The Bible has stated clearly that we cannot please God without faith. Understand what Our Heavenly Father meant by such a strong statement. To serve Him is to trust Him, Obey Him and be wholly His. It is unacceptable to say you are His if you do not trust Him. We are facing an enemy that has no pity. and that will destroy you in a minute. Our hope rest in our complete trust in our God and His Son Jesus Christ. Fear not, faith in our God stopped the devil in his tracks.
