His Name Shall Triumph at Last

Never in history has the name of Jesus suffered such rejection. Great halls of government are forbidding this beautiful name from being sounded in their chambers. Bestselling authors of novels and common books are invoking this name in jest and casual talk. Right at the end of all things secular, the name that the Father honors in Divine flesh is going down in ill repute. The fallen prince, who came right out of the angelic host, is preparing his last dash to replace the King of redemption. He shall not only fail, he shall be cast out of the heavens to fight his final losing hurrah and be limited to earth.

All people living lives bond in sin and self either ignore or despise this holy name. The very term Jesus –when given in power– causes demons to tremble. The halls of greedy governments are pursuing their New World Order actually believing that lasting peace can be bought with gold. Haughty men and women are fully convinced that God is a generic term for all faiths making the name of Jesus completely unnecessary. It is all a perfect fulfillment of Holy Scripture and leaves little doubt that His appearance in the Heavens can occur at any moment. The wedding invitation has been signed in blood and is the only pass across the Gulf.

Christianity is the one and only religion that stands on the Rock. Moses saw it at the height of Mount Horab when the Father appeared to Him. The glory was so brilliant that Moses was hid in the cleft of the rock and allowed only to get a glimpse. Even the glimpse of Christ lit MosesÂ’ face until the children of Egypt could not bear to look upon Him. When we realize the glory Moses saw and know that it was only the foreshadow, we should bow in utter surrender to Him.

The Psalmist David saw Him as the Shepherd leading the chosen to the place of plenty. Still waters, green pastures, and a table spread before our enemies is the promise of the Great Shepherd. His care of His own surpasses a thousand lovers. Even death is His pavilion and He walks in the valley that leads to a land past the valley of sorrow.

Satan has no fear of man until that man learns the name above all names. All the weapons of fallen spirits that do the will of Lucifer are powerless before His name. Jesus Christ is next of kin to the Father, actually the only one that bears the FatherÂ’s likeness, and every follower of Satan trembles and cries for mercy when He appears. All that Satan stole in the garden and all the misery of his lies are soon to be fully exposed. This awesome name of Jesus will inflict the final blow and land evil in its place of everlasting fire.

Isaiah carried us into the halls of his deepest sorrows where the Father smote Him in our place. Sin was so gruesome to the heart of God that the only cure was His Son’s action as our substitute. Neither the Romans nor His own earthly kin could put Him to death so the Father drove the nails into His sinless flesh. “Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief” (Isaiah 53:10a). Both our sins and our diseases were fully atoned by our God’s awesome hand upon the very temple of His Son, named Jesus. No wonder the unconverted world cannot grasp His matchless name.

But the Son is about to shine. All the endless sins and dark deeds have never inflicted a crippling blow. His glory is just as bright as it was when it shone on the Father and SonÂ’s endless past. From everlasting, He is the Son of God Divine. Sin has done its dark deeds, but the Son shines only brighter. Human hatred has broken His heart, but love was the cure. He redeems every soul that will call in surrender on His name. He shall sit at His FatherÂ’s right hand until all His enemies are destroyed. His name shall triumph forever at last.
