Where is the Promise of His Coming

Sunday, September 30th, 2007

Peter is almost shouting, "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day" (II Peter 3:8). He was not just making conversation, but speaking by the Holy Ghost. This great principle is also found in Psalm. "For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night" (Psalm 90:4). Those last words are interpreted as saying, "As a guard of the coming night or a sign of my final plans…

The Imminent Rapture of the Saint

Saturday, September 29th, 2007

There is more proof in the Bible of the supernatural rapture than almost every major doctrine of scripture. The three most important events are the rapture, the seven years of the great tribulation and the one thousand year reign of Jesus Christ on earth. Thirteen chapters of Revelation is devoted to documenting the great tribulation. Why is there so much space given to the seven years of this tribulation? A good question to answer because it make the rapture very important. This great tribulation is the Wrath of Jesus Christ on the wicked. That’s why we will be raptured before the seven years begin. Do not miss next week!!!!!

Any Moment

Friday, September 28th, 2007

Nobody can set the date for the Rapture, but we can be assured that it is “any moment” now. Many Bible teachers enjoy stressing that there are no signs pointing to the Rapture. They are partially right, but this is misleading. It is correct to say that His coming has always been imminent. Nothing has to occur for Him to come.

He could have returned before Israel became a nation in 1948. He could have returned before the mark to identify every living soul was fully prepared. We could name an extended list of fulfilled prophecies. Their fulfillment was not demanded before He came, but they were positive proof that we are living in this age of His return. No sign must occur, but every sign that does occur is important to describe exactly where the Bible fits the hour.

The infallible Word of God and every prophetic Scripture reads like the morning news. Just days ago, Israel slipped across SyriaÂ’s border, penetrated at least fifty miles inside their country, and destroyed what was apparently a nuclear stockpile, or a shipment of the same, or maybe a nuclear reactor. It was all neatly accomplished and all planes returned without loss. It does not appear that Syria ever knew what happened until it was all over. The same could occur in Iran any day.

As I write, the Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is in America. His boast and predictions sound exactly like the Antichrist is feeding him each line. The Imam that he predicts will shortly appear is at least connected to the end. He actually sounds like the beast out of the earth. This 12th Imam, Imam Madhi, was born in A.D. 896 and has certainly been in the bottomless pit waiting this hour of revelation to help Satan finish his last hurrah.

Look at the prophecy of a beast or demon-possessed man arising to lead the false religion of the Antichrist. “The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is” (Revelation 17:8). Could this Muslim Imam actually be this beast? The emerging church is laying the foundation for a One World Religion that will include Muslims, Catholics, Evangelicals, Pentecostals, and every religious idea.

Do not doubt that there is not any nation or earth that is more prophetic than Iran. This is ancient Persia, the first of the nations named in Ezekiel that will march against Israel in the fateful hour hanging over the Middle East. Ezekiel named Gog, Magog, Meshech, and Tubal, but each of these are an unnamed nation. Persia or modern Iran is a named country for future action and appears as a leading force of that action. They are ready and bragging about their plans.

Thousands of Americans, including myself, are concerned about our borders, outsourcing of our major industries, and the daily loss of our American independence. The truth is it cannot be stopped. The One World Order includes America, and we are destined to live in a New America with little kin to yester year if Jesus tarries.

The six thousand years of human history is soon to close and God’s World will experience the seventh day of rest. The Bible calls it “the Millennium,” the “one thousand year reign of Jesus Christ” on earth. The Scripture has concluded “that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day” (II Peter 3:8b). The Jewish calendar is 5768, but the Gentile calendar is 4004(?) and 2007 or 6011. Any moment now, these things will occur: the Rapture, seven years of the Great Tribulation, and then the kingdom of Jesus Christ for one thousand years of righteousness and peace.

To live one day without the fire of God in your soul is foolish. To treat one Sunday without deep regard for worship is unthinkable. To live one day without love for righteousness is inconceivable. Looking for Him and expecting Him with joy is the order that the Father has ordained for this hour. Only the foolish virgins or the unsaved will dare to be careless.

The Infallible Word of God

Saturday, September 22nd, 2007

There is a great amount of misinformation about the King James translation of the Word. A Pastor sent an E-mail and stated, "The original 1611 had a printing mistake in one of the commandments thus rendering the commandment, "you shall commit adultery’. This is a historical fact." Here is the fact: This was not a translators mistake. A printer missed the word "not" in his typeset in 1631 as he was making copies to sell. It became known as "The sinners Bible’. This had nothing to do with the Bible itself or the the translators. If you have been told some dark story to discredit the KJV Bible sent it to me and I will print the story and give the facts.

The Sprinkling of the Blood

Friday, September 21st, 2007

There is no deep inner Holiness in the believerÂ’s life but by the blood of Christ. Our absolute best righteousness produced by this flesh is altogether unclean. Keeping the laws of God will produce an unconverted Paul of a disobedient John Mark, but it will not produce a saint of God.

This does not nullify the laws or commandments of God but shows that the work of the heart is not within man’s ability. We cannot change one iota of our sinful nature by human effort alone. “What can wash away our sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus.”

Saints of God that have been created in the image of Christ are fully the results of the power of the blood. Nothing else will create saints and make us a kingdom of priests. Apostle Peter, speaking by the Holy Ghost said, “Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ” (I Peter 1:2a).

The word “sprinkling” in an Old Testament sense carries the meaning of purifying action over the believer’s life. The blood was sprinkled in the Old Testament by a priest, but in the New Testament it is the effect of the Holy Spirit’s activity in the inner life. We are not covered over with the blood. It is a supernatural work in our hearts that purifies us unto His likeness and the nature of Christ.

Because of the absence of preaching about the blood and a failure in our abandonment to this one and only approach to sanctification, our church world is full of unconverted people. Those that are saved do not understand that growth and maturity in ChristÂ’s nature is fully the work of His Word and His blood by the Spirit. Psychology and the New Age techniques fill the pulpits with humanistic ideas that are nothing inside the heart. Church people are stretching themselves with these helpless ideas of spiritual growth that sound high and mighty but are carnal and fleshly.

It is no wonder that the favorite doctrine is, “We sin more or less every day.” As long as flesh is the ruler and our teaching is humanism, there will be no victory over sin. The moral standard of today’s church is no better than the world’s lifestyles. Holiness or separation from sin is a hated idea. The more we reject Bible standards the more flesh is exalted. It is the natural result of the message of flesh in the pulpit.

Israel was in this exact state when Jesus appeared the first time. They never recognized Him because they viewed Him from false theology. The great teaching of the Old Testament had been humanized. There was no sense of the supernatural. The Pharisees taught a rigid life of keeping the law and the Sadducees taught against anything supernatural.

As we approach the end of all things bound by human limitation, the desperate need is to renew the truth of His blood. Every person that is not converted by the blood of Jesus Christ into a new creature has no possible chance of being raptured. The majority of the church world will be left when He comes. The Spirit describes those that will be taken out before all Hell breaks loose. “Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ” (II Corinthians 5:17).

Moving Beyond Self

Sunday, September 16th, 2007

The life of flesh is nothing but a loss. Jesus said, "The flesh profiteth nothing". In my text for this message the Holy Spirit said, "For we are the circumcision, which worship God in The Spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh." (Philippians 3:3) The power of the Spirit cannot rest on a flesh centered life. The anointing for your victory and for your effect for the kingdom is in death to self. When the old man is dead to sin and your will the power of God will come in triumph and glory. The Deeper Life will be my theme for a few weeks.

The Perfect Word of God

Saturday, September 15th, 2007

Jesus made an incredible statement about the purity of Holy Scripture. He said concerning Moses’ writing of the first five books of the Bible, "For had you believed Moses, ye would have believed me, for he wrote of me, But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?" (St. John 5:46-47) How plain can you get? If you do not believe in creation as taught in Genesis you are lost and cannot be saved. The Bible must not be changed.

Worshipping God

Friday, September 14th, 2007

The highest ability of the human family is that of worship. We were created with a spirit within our person that has a God-like shape. It is profoundly religious and will find expressions toward an unseen source. If we refuse the worship of the great Jehovah God, we will turn our attention to beggarly elements. Evil spirits have produced an endless list of gods and religious thoughts, and one of them will capture your attention. These false gods can create emotions in you that have a religious kind of feeling.

Any worship, whether to the true God or to false gods, will change you into the image of what you worship. Worship is a transforming experience. Many religious systems that claim Christianity are nothing but manÂ’s inventions. The Seventh-day Adventists have created a theological system that is mainly shaped around Saturday worship. The MormonÂ’s system was created out of the Book of Mormons. The Oneness thought is a denial of the uniqueness of Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God. He cannot be the Father and His Son at the same time.

The Holy Bible makes much out of worship. In fact, the entire problem of Satan and sin began with the devilÂ’s desire to be worshipped. Every fallen angel is a demon spirit that continues to seek worship for Satan. True worship will set your heart right and will keep it straight. You cannot stay on the path toward God without worship, and you will never fall away from Him if you devote yourself to worship Him. Worship is the most powerful action coming out of the God-given gift of life.

One truth that you must never lose is that worship must be shaped by the Holy Bible. We worship in Spirit and in truth. They fit perfectly together in Scripture. Distorted, empty, or noisy worship is utterly destructive. Flesh cannot worship rightly but mars both the church and all individuals present. Worship can only come out of the spirit of man. When flesh takes over our worship, we find out quickly that it degenerates toward deception and confusion. It is a modern curse in the church world.

Those actions of worship that are so beautiful when they are a natural reaction to spiritual joy and praise take on a whole different expression when they come only by flesh. Fast music that is offered to the fleshly appetites is nothing but strange fire. But, fast music is not always negative. When music is offered as pure praise to God, the speed makes little difference. The secret is in genuine praise offered by sanctified lives that live for His pleasure. The final guide is always the Scripture. Let the Bible be the foundation of all your worship.

David, God’s psalmist, taught as much about worship. “Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name” (Psalm 100:1-4). When worship is anointed by the Spirit nothing in our lives is more beautiful. David led us to “Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD” (Psalm 150:3-6).

What really makes worship is a thoroughly redeemed life lived in Holiness that is pure and unfettered by flesh. Add abandonment to truth and a deep love of our Father and Savior, and you will find joy unspeakable.

Celebration in the Father’s House

Sunday, September 9th, 2007

The Bible identifies one time and only one time when an earthly event causes Angels to shout in Heaven. It is when a sinner or a backslider come to Christ and are wonderfully saved. The ninety and nine safe souls was a joy to the Shepherd but He left them to find the lost sheep that had departed. Joy filled heaven when the Shepherd found the lost sheep. Notice that the Bible says he was lost. When the ragged prodigal was a great distance but coming home, the Father saw him. The fatted calf had been stall fed for days because the Father was expected the lost son. A celebration filled the great estate, and the son was restored to his forsaken position while the self-righteous son was sad and jealous. What a picture of today’s church life…

The Book of Revelation’s Warning

Saturday, September 8th, 2007

Jesus said, "For I testify unto every (That means you) man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophesy God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." (Revelation 22: 18-19) Messing with the Bible is like taking fire in your hands. It will cost you more than you can pay.
