This title is an incredible statement from the Word of God. As the Apostle Paul penned these words to Timothy, it was clearly meant to encourage and strengthen the hands of His spiritual son. They were in the middle of spiritual war. Paul was in prison in Rome and knew that his death by martyrdom was at hand. There was not one ounce of doubt or fear evident in either Paul or Timothy because of one truth, “The word of God is not bound.” (II Tim 2:9b) Paul was in prison, but the Word of God given and sustained by the Holy Ghost, was not. Circumstances of life had no bearing on the Holy Scripture and these men of God lived by that confidence.

The Holy Scripture is infallible and it is the only legal document that controls this entire universe. Every expression of God’s created world is subject to this legal covenant. Angels, demons, nations, and, yes, God Himself must be subject to what has been inspired and established in the Word of God. Not one nuance of this covenant will fail. Even Saddam Hussein was building “Babylon, the Ancient City,” by the exact words given to Zechariah over two thousand years ago. At this very moment, the political powers, the armies of the world, and all the movements of nations are acting on a sovereign timetable to the finality of this age.

If this is true, and it is absolutely true if we believe the Word of God, why are we so fearful and troubled by our light circumstances and disappointments? Here is the answer. Satan and his army of fallen spirits are subject to the words of God only when those words are believed and obeyed. Ultimately, Satan and his cohorts will answer to truth and be eternally judged but until that moment of their fate, they are limited only by the Word of God. Paul warned the Ephesians, “Neither give place to the devil.” (Ephesians 4:27) This book of Holy Scripture sets the boundaries of our enemies against us when we believe and act accordingly.

Jesus found a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan had bound eighteen years with a spirit of infirmity. She was bowed over and could not in any wise lift up herself because of the action of this fallen angel of Satan. Jesus set her free and she was perfectly healed. He did this miracle on the Jewish Sabbath and they were incensed. The Master said, “And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day? (Luke 13:16) She had been taken captive by Satan because she had not met the “Truth”.

“The Word of God is not bound.” You may be bound, but the Word of God is not bound. Our victory is to start living in the same victory that the Word of God represents. This is New Testament Christianity. John quoted the Eternal Word Himself, saying, “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” (John 15:7)

What a life of joy and success according to all of God’s promises awaits us if we will live totally in the Word of God. Not one truth of the sixty-six books of God’s completed “Word” can fail because, “The Word of God is not bound”.

The Holy Ghost is that special member of the Godhead that deals with the human heart. We know the things of God inwardly only by our welcoming the Spirit to freely witness to us the life He gives. Explaining to someone how to be tender before the Holy Spirit is almost impossible. Only the Spirit Himself can truly teach this great lesson. My desire is to open your heart toward Him in a way that you will never forget. He is the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christ, and everything they are in the Redemption of our soul this Spirit desires to witness to us, to teach us until His fullness reigns in us.

Most professing believers are empty inside. They have a believing mind but have never experienced His powers within themselves. The Father desires to change all of that religious coldness to Holy Ghost fire. Much of the church teaches against this experimental side of Christianity. Often pastors are afraid of the experimental side because it has been abused to much destruction. I understand that, but the dead side of Christianity is just as dangerous as the unbalanced experimental side.

The Biblical experience is never out of control. It is both Biblically solid and experimentally sound. New Testament Christianity has never been a cold-cut diet. Fanaticism has often been used as an excuse to conduct safe church where nothing happens lest too much happens. Those that love the whole Word of God need not settle for this model.

God is a supernatural God, and when He sets up home at your physical house, He will change the furniture. The inside of the individual is where He does His primary work. The whole of our being will be flooded with life and living waters if we welcome Him to come in. “He stands at the door and knocks” (Rev. 3:20), but He never opens the door Himself. That is your responsibility. It is so simple to turn yourself over to the work of the Holy Spirit and welcome Him to fill you with Jesus Christ’s very resurrected life.

Jesus said it best, “In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” (St. John 7:37-38) It all starts inside. He rearranges the furniture in your “living” room and fills it with His glory. An experience that is wrought in the human heart has little chance to be wild and out of order. The Lord Jesus Christ comes by the Spirit to teach a balanced and wholesome discipleship, and He begins this work at the level of our will not our emotions.

Yes, there is the result of “joy unspeakable and full of glory” (I Peter 1:8) Absolutely the Bible records wonderful emotional worship and praise. “And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God:” (Acts 3:7-9) Oh, how the church needs such joy in her midst.

Tenderness before the sweet ministry of ChristÂ’s Spirit will bring revival to the Saints and the House of God. Take time to be quiet in Bible study and private devotions. Ask the Father in ChristÂ’s name to reveal Himself in your life. Open the door of your heart after you have thoroughly surrendered everything to Him. Rest and give Him your all and He will flood your life with Himself.

There is no HIGHway so High and beautiful as the highway of Holiness. This beautiful word Holiness has been cast off by the Apostasy in today’s church world. It is still the culture of Heaven and the character of the pilgrims traveling the Highway to the Sky. Isaiah spoke prophetically about the "Gospel Road" and said "And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein." Isaiah 35:8. Known and willful sin cannot travel the Gospel Road. The "Born Again" and "transformed" can easily find this highway because of its simplicity. The Shepherd’s voice clearly leads the pathway and His sheep will follow no other. Someone that says "It’s hard to be a saint" has not found the right path. It is many times easier than being a sinner.

The secret of this life is found in Jesus Christ the good Shepherd. The Lord Himself is the door and the Holy Spirit is ever present as the "porter" ready to open the door for the sheep that will follow the Shepherd. All you have got to have is a ready heart to be one of His sheep and to follow no other. There is no room for "self" to travel the Gospel Road. It is the willing loss of "self" in full surrender that will not be denied. No man or woman ever came to Him in repentance of sin and believing faith to then be rejected. There is incredible power released to the soul that receives Him in surrender. The Spirit said, "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" John 1:12

When you consider the culture of the saints that will be caught up in the Rapture, it is unique to this world. Watch the multitude that live for fleshly satisfaction. There is no uniqueness about them. The Hindu believer is proud to take on a lifestyle that reflects Hinduism. Look at the followers of Allah and the Islamic religion, and their life immediately reveals Islam. A rock star will reflect the religion of hedonism. The dime store appearance of our world has no effect on any of the different religions of the world except Christianity. Something beautiful has been lost.

True Biblical Christianity is life that reflects the original beauty created by God in every human individual. The great God painted the lily, the rose and the butterfly. Every beautiful design of nature is captivating to the eye. There are beauties in our world that come straight off the drawing board of the Divine Creator. To touch them in human imagination would only mar their beauty.

Human beauty is probably the most awesome beauty in all the world. Take a look at a charming young girl of four years of age or even eight years, dress her in a beautiful dress with her natural curls flowing in the breeze, and tell me she could be made anymore beautiful. The creator did not miss a detail. Take a teenage young lady that has developed her charms and dress her in all the natural expressions of beauty and then consider her lack of need to be improved upon. The architect of human life did not miss one possibility. The same is true of a handsome young man that has allowed natural masculinity to envelop his life.

The Holy Bible talks about a Bride (male or female) that is about to leave on a trip to the sky. The Lord spoke of His own unique design in preparing this Bride. Paul the Apostle said "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish." Ephesians 5:25-27. This is the end of the Gospel Road

This is one of the most far reaching descriptions or titles of the Lord Jesus Christ in Revelation chapter one. There are other titles that are greater, in the sense of His divinity or His coming redemption, but this title touches our present world now. Nothing that exists in our physical world or that touches every event on the political or religious front can occur except by Him. He reigns over every king, every prime minister, every president, every governor, and anyone beneath their rule. The earth is totally under His Lordship, and he universally sets every agenda. Every angel is at His command, and every unclean spirit is on His leash. He has predestined every living soul and has a plan for our life that is ready to be revealed to us by His Spirit.

There are no shattering events that He does not allow and no accidents or dark moments that do not have a higher design than mortal eyes can see. It is truly His world, and He will never grant control to another. He is the "Prince of the kings of the earth" and everything under their control. This leaves out nothing. He is the only Lord of all. Every soul that rejects Him will eventually break themselves upon this Rock of the Ages. Every idea that is contrary to His principles will fail in the end. Every political maneuver that is not written in prophecy or that does not prepare the world for His planned completion will be defeated. Jesus is the Lord, appointed by the Father.

At His feet every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess Him as the Lord. The apostle spoke to the Gentiles by the Holy Ghost saying, "And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:8-11). The very words used by the Spirit makes this great truth final and total. Paul said, ". of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth." This encompasses every heavenly being except the Father, every human person, and every evil spirit, including Satan. The Son of God won this right by divine appointment and by His absolute humility before the Father in all matters of His earthly sojourn. He never wavered as the Second Adam but was without guile or self-exaltation. He pleased the Father, and the Father gave Him the kingdom of the earth and the authority to execute the desired end.

The Son of God reigns even as I write, but it is still a battleground. Because of His position, we must learn that ". We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Ephesians 6:12). There is a hostile world all around us, but every expression of that hostility is still subject to Him. It is only subject to us when we are totally subject to Him. This is a very fine line, and our surrender and humility must be after His example. "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men." (Philippians 2:5-7). Our power is in our total humility before Christ and our brokenness to His will alone.

His church is His body, and He is searching for souls that have broken themselves upon His cross. To Colosse, Paul wrote the following to the church body, "For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence." (Colossians 1:16-18). The early church shook the world because of their relationship to this sovereign Lord of all. No power could stand before them because they stood in His powers alone. They knew that every city or political person they encountered was subject to Him, and they never wavered. The Herods fell like flies as these men preached, healed the sick, cast out devils, and won multitudes to Jesus Christ and His kingdom.

The Son of God must reign until this entire universe is subdued and purified. Right now He is preparing for His final action. The world’s nations are slowly evolving into the perfect alignment for the earth’s last shattering events. When you watch the news, do not be afraid. Nothing can happen that He does not order or allow. The church world is descending into the prophesied apostasy. This is His plan, and it cannot be stopped. The remnant of Godly saints is standing strong on His Word. Everything that can be shaken will be shaken. "And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear." (Hebrews 12:27-28). It’s up to you to stand strong and true in complete surrender to the "Prince of the kings of the earth." (Revelation 1:5b).
