This small strip of land had to be turned over to the Palestinians because of the Holy Bible. Gaza will be judged for it’s often offence against Israel and then Israel will possess it in peace. (Zeph. 2:4-9)…

A Passionate Thirst for Tomorrow

Friday, September 1st, 2006

Nothing should characterize a Bible-believer more than a thirst for tomorrow. I love to go to bed at night with an excitement about the next day. Often, I wake up in the middle of the night and feel the adrenaline for the challenges of what I will be doing when I start the next day. If I am writing an article or a book, as I am now finishing on Revelation, I am thrilled to complete another chapter. Every believer that is in the center of God’s will and doing His work, can live out every day with great satisfaction. We are the choice creation of God and He delights in us and invites us to delight in Him and His business.

Negative living is slow death. Negative people constantly fight with themselves and with almost everyone else. If you are fighting with something or someone today, how can you expect tomorrow to be better? Positive living sees the good in everything and everyone and then earnestly prays for the downside around all of us. We live in a dying world and around a host of dark-minded people, but ".We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28 If that statement by the Holy Ghost is true and it is, then you have all right to expect every day to be a holy day. This passage by Apostle Paul continues with exciting promises. "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified." Romans 8:29-30

The church world would turn our society right side up if we would live out the scriptures above. We fret ourselves to death over evildoers that are everywhere. The Bible forbids that in the Lord’s saints. "Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass." Psalm 37:1-7 If all Old Testament saints lived like this passage, what are the possibilities for God’s Redeemed of our present covenant. The only thing that causes "Born-Again" Christians to live negatively are the lack of surrender of our total self to His will. We trust in the "arm of flesh" when our lives are being lived for ourselves and the world.

The great need of the "Bible-believers" is to spend time in anointed devotion every single day. We cannot live the positive life without the constant activity of the blood of Jesus and the authority of the Word and the Spirit. The Bible is a dynamic book and every word is Holy Ghost delivered. When we understand the unity of the Word, the blood, and the Spirit then we simply surrender and believe. The great work of God’s Spirit does the rest. Often when some negative thought or circumstance is coming at me and I can utterly give it over to My Father, supernatural effects occur immediately. Our Father cannot change one circumstance until you turn it loose. In your hands it’s unchangeable but in His hands, miracles occur.

Start facing life in utter surrender to His will and His book. Quit trying to do spiritual things with flesh powers. The battle is the Lords. Remember David when he faced the giant Goliath. David told this mountain of a man, "Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied." I Samuel 17:45 Little David, nothing but a young teenager, fed that giant to the buzzards because he believed in His God and knew for himself God’s will for his life. He must have gone to sleep the night before with a passionate thirst for the next day.
