Our God Watches Over His Holy Bible

Our God Watches Over His Holy Bible

 Jeremiah 1

12 Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

That must be one of the greatest truths in Holy Scripture. These words were spoken to Jeremiah. “Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well see: for I will hasten my word to perform it.” (Jeremiah 1: 12) The word “hasten” is powerful. It means that God is alert to watch the revelation of His Bible to perform everything that He has promised. Jesus affirmed that when He stated “not one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law.” (Matthew 5:18) Our generation has forgotten that the Bible is perfect and cannot fail, one even one word.

Over and over the Bible keeps reminding us that it cannot fail. We are warned that it is purified seven times as gold must be purified seven times. “The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.” (Psalm 12: 6-7)

Please not how the NIV plays “footloose” with this scripture:

Psalm 12:6-7 New International Version (NIV)           Psalm 12: 6-7 King James Version

And the words of the Lord are flawless,                        6 The words of the Lord are pure words:

like silver purified in a crucible,                                       as silver tried in a furnace of earth,

like gold[a] refined seven times.                                        Purified seven times.

You, Lord, will keep the needy safe                                7 Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou

and will protect us forever from the wicked,                     shalt preserve them from this

                                                                                                Generation for ever.

This is blasphemy to treat the Bible in this fashion.

This article is extremely important for every person who believes in the inerrancy of Holy Scripture. There are good people who do not defend the King James Bible as I do and I do not desire to denigrate them. There was a time that I quoted from several different translations because I was not acquainted with the textual facts concerning the Received Text versus the Alexandrian Text, etc. After my son and I did hundreds of hours of research and read after many different scholars, we became convinced of the total accuracy of the Received or Textual Receptus manuscripts and the faithfulness of the KJV translations to that text.

Questions I Asked On “The Ankerberg TV Show”

I asked a question of Kenneth Barker, NIV Executive Director, and the other scholars present for these television programs.  My question was simply, “Are you saying that the true text of Holy Scripture, which you claim is held in the Alexandrian Text (Vaticanus and Siniaticus), and was lost by the church for approximately 1600 hundred plus years (The Siniaticus was in a Catholic monastery and the Vaticanus was in the Vatican.) and that, now after the Reformation and some of the greatest evangelical periods of church history, you have the restored Word of God?”  Nobody would touch my question.  Dr. Ankerberg tried to get Dr. Barker to answer me and he skirted the question two or three times.  This question exposes the ridiculous idea that the Alexandrian Text is the true source of the absolute Word of God.

Finally, We See The Agenda Of The NIV Translators

Incredible information has surfaced (World Magazine and National Liberty Journal) that reveals what the NIV translators actually intend to do with the Word of God.  It is not a pretty picture to those of us who believe in an infallible Holy Scripture.  Already Americans have been dubiously sold a “gender neutral” NIV Bible in a special version, called “New International Reader’s Version (NIrV).  According to World Magazine, it is written with inclusive language (gender neutral) even though they didn’t bother to tell anybody.  If you have purchased this Bible for your child or a friend, then you have introduced them to a false version that seeks to pacify the radical feminist.  These feminists actually hate the idea that God and Jesus happen to be “Father and Son”, instead of “It and Its offspring.”  They are planning this same kind of Bible for all of you Bible-loving people.  Please note carefully.  The NIV translation committee, led by Kenneth Barker, is preparing to change the present NIV to an “Inclusive Language Edition.”  If you read these words in a bookstore, you probably would not even flinch.  But when you know the facts, it becomes a different story.  This kind of NIV Bible is already being sold in England and is scheduled for America in 2000 or 2001.  (I just learned that the NIV Committee is backing down, at least until the great outcry is over, but will they remove their NIrV edition already in bookstores?)

The president of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Dr. Paige Patterson, has revealed some unusual changes in this new version.  Here are two of the changes he has documented.

“While I still have not had time to read the entire ‘inclusive language’ NIV (hereafter, IL-NIV), I have checked out a sizeable number of readings. Perhaps you will be interested in a few.

“First, note the inconsistency. Genesis 1:26 reads, ‘Then God said, Let us make human beings in our image, in our likeness  . . . ” Adam or ‘man’ is here rendered ‘human beings.’”  (“Human Persons,” National Liberty Journal, June 1997, Volume 26, No. 6, p.22.)

Please note the above Scripture in its true form, “So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”  (Genesis 1:27).

First, the Father made Adam or man in His image and then made woman in man’s image.  Look at the Holy Scripture again, “And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;  And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.  And Adam said, This [is] now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.”  (Genesis 2:21-23)

The word used by Adam in describing Eve was “woman.”  In the Hebrew meaning he said that she was the feminine side of Adam or a female out of a male.  No wonder this would need to be changed to satisfy the humanist and the feminist.

Psalm 12

The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

The other change documented by Dr. Patterson that I will mention is the following,

“Far more reprehensible and puzzling is what the NIV inclusivist translators did with I Timothy 2:5, which reads, ‘For there is one God and one mediator between God and human beings, Christ Jesus, himself human . . .’”.

“I am not surprised that ‘between God and men’ was changed to read ‘between God and human beings.

“But I was startled at the last part of the verse where ‘the man Christ Jesus’ has been revised to read ‘Christ Jesus himself human.’

“The first problem is that Jesus was not ‘just’ human, he was specifically a ‘male human.’

“So why not say so? Is our Lord now offensive because he was male?

“In much feminist thought and some feminist theology, this is precisely the case. Since there was no good reason to make ‘the man Christ Jesus’ into ‘Christ Jesus, himself human,’ then one can only chalk up another victory for the most radical feminist theology.”  (“Human Persons,” National Liberty Journal, June 1997, Volume 26, No. 6, p.22.)

This change surely leaves your head spinning as it did mine.  The truth is that the present version of the NIV is already just as repulsive as this new one will be.  Maybe now, many of the wonderful people who have allowed themselves to be convinced for the NIV can be unconvinced.  Many of us have been warning you of the ultimate goal.  Someone asked me recently on Open Bible Dialogue if the New World Order under the Antichrist will take away our Bibles.  My answer was simple, “They won’t need to because once all the new versions are in place, there will be no truth in what is left.”

Let me document a few of the changes in the present NIV that has sold 100 million copies.  Without any comment, other than highlighting the changes, I will list first the New International Version (NIV) and then the King James Version (KJV).  These are very important and are absolutely unjustified unless you follow the erroneous Alexandrian text.

This list is very minor, but enough to disturb a person who values every “Word” of God.  When men begin to play with truth, there is no stopping place.  That’s why I am dedicated to the original text as found in the Masoretic Hebrew and the Textus Receptus Greek.  You will hear many arguments and they often sound valid.  My suggestion is to do your own homework and make sure you do not just read one side of the argument.  There is a list of excellent reading materials on page 8.  Make sure you order our album, entitled “The NIV & Homosexuality.”  It includes an interview with a lesbian that was on the NIV Consultant Committee as an English Stylist.  She is listed in every documentation that I have seen of persons who were part of the NIV team.  My interview with her tells the story well.  You will also see what they believe about “hell” and “sodomy.”

Be a BEREAN and search for the truth!
