SATAN IS OUT TO GET YOUR CHILDREN

SATAN IS OUT TO GET YOUR CHILDREN

Psalm 89

30 If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;

31 If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;

32 Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.

     Every child is an eternal soul. Every parent will answer to God for teaching or not teaching them the ways of godly living. By the 14th birthday, 90% of those who will serve the Lord have been decided. By the age of 21, 96% of the rest will spend eternity in hell fire. Those statistics make me weep like a dying man. Think, my friends, about your children in eternal hell because you forsook the Lord in front of them. The Bible says, “Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” (Psalm 127: 3)

     Child entertainment is literally destroying your children. You feed them magic, godless characters, and all the garbage from Hollywood, and you get hell for their eternity. We see right now what the world is doing to the future generations. It’s very evident that the crowds in charge are godless and even God haters. Please study carefully with me what we are raising our children on and with.

     The battle is a battle for the mind.  I am amazed how we trivialize the importance of the mind when it comes to the social aspect of our lives, families, and especially our small children.  If someone should poison the bodies of our children the way they are poisoning their minds, it would be a criminal act.  Over and over as I have debated radio and television talk show hosts and their call-in listeners, this has been the number one discussion.  They say to me, “Children are not paying any attention to the ideas behind the games, the fun, and the laughter.  It is just entertainment.”  The most heartbreaking calls are always from those who premise their remarks by saying, “I am a Christian.”  They then proceed to call me every ugly name because I dare to challenge secular children’s entertainment.

     My answer is simple.  Every child has an incredible computer in their head.  Everything they see and hear makes impressions in that computer.  By the time a child is approximately six years of age, whatever has entered their mind has already determined their personality to a great extent.  Violence, hatred, sex, selfishness, and disrespect or peace, love, purity, self-giving, and reverence; or the other one of those mindsets has at the least laid a foundation for ways of thinking.  Reprogramming a child’s mind once it is set is not easily accomplished.

     Look at any of the entertainment ideas already discussed in this section.  The fun and games are almost inconsequential to the ideas and philosophies.  Barney is nothing but a clever way to teach transcendental imagination.  If someone would tell a Christian parent that they want to teach their child how to change their world with the mythological power of the mind, they would tell them they are crazy.  If they explained the secular psychological idea of “guided imagery” or “centering” to you, no Christian parent would dare let them instruct their children in such westernized forms of Hinduism.  Yet, that is exactly what the Barney episodes teach.  The battle is a battle for the mind.

     Every wise parent must learn to read the themes instead of the names.  There was a past day when magic was seemingly light and insignificant.  I do not believe that justified it, but it at least helps us to understand how we became conditioned.  What in the past was light illusions or just cute fun is now dead serious games of spiritual warfare.

Proverbs 20

Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?

The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.

     The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is absolutely black and white magic. The term white magic is clever deception.  A short trip into this entertainment series will show how these teenagers are in constant contact with a wizard or devil that is locked in a place of darkness and chains.  It is all devil play, games of demon spirits battling for control.  It is impossible to know the Holy Bible and end times apostasy without seeing this entire scheme as preparation to accept the demons of hell soon to invade our world.  The devil is preparing the minds of our children and youth.

The Spirit Of Fantasy

     A wholesome imagination is a gift from God and entirely different from a mind of fantasy.  Almost every entertainment idea has at least some level of fantasy.  Even “Christian” videos and toys often rely on fantasy to teach and entertain.  Is this a theme that is healthy and creative or is it a theme with a sinister overtone?  It appears to me that what we have done is to replace adventure with fantasy, and I believe it is wrong and must be rejected by a Christian home.

     Let’s face it, the idea of fantasy is being sanitized for this present careless generation.  It means: “preoccupation with thoughts associated with unobtainable desires . . . to indulge in gratifying fantasies; to have whimsical notions . . . not real . . . Capricious.  (Chambers English Dictionary, original publication 1901, Edinburgh, England, p. 516.)  Take a look at Pocahontas.  The entire story has been recreated, totally altering history, to be nothing but a cute and deceptive trip into the world of fantasy and goddess worship.  It is void of truth and history and saturated with lies, all dressed up to entertain a new generation that loves to fantasize.

     We are just watching the beginning of the fantasy trip.  If Jesus tarries over the next few years, children and youth will be entertained down paths of fantastic fantasies, all beautifully done in technicolor and drama until the real world will be nothing but a bore.  All kinds of drugs will be used to heighten the level of imagination, and, step-by-step, children will be demonized.  It is a real game and, so far, the other side is winning.  Children are already thinking and acting in ways that can only prove what I am saying.

 1 John 2

17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

The World Of Magic

     We are God-like creatures, created in His image, and He forbids us to play with the world of magic.  Is that because God is just being hard to deal with or could He be smarter than we humans that He created?  Magic is totally forbidden in Holy Scripture.  Every person who practices magic even in the smallest amount is unclean and becomes an abomination before the Lord.  In fact, the Scripture prophecies that magic (sorcery) would be a clear evidence of the end times and would characterize the kingdom of Antichrist.  That preparation is flooding the world of children.

     The prophet Micah prophesied of Jesus Christ’s birth in Bethlehem; then spoke of the coming Antichrist, called the Assyrian; and, then in the same context, told of a day when all witchcraft, soothsayers, and graven images would be removed from the land.  Nothing can be removed that is not present and for this prophet to speak in this manner suggests that this would represent the world just before the end.  Listen to this prophet.  “And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no more soothsayers: Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine hands.”  (Micah 5:12-13).

     The next generation is being introduced to a world controlled by fantasy and magic and manipulated like a giant computer game.  You could not paint a more deadly picture of what the Book of Revelation has dramatized for the future.

Violence, Sex, and Beasts

     There is a beastly theme that also touches almost every idea in the secular world of children.  Toys and games were once creative, lifelike, and even beautiful.  They were usually representative of adult life on a child’s level.  My childhood was a truck in a sandpile, a tricycle going down an imaginary highway, or a B-B gun hunting elephants.  I, also, learned to make some pretty enjoyable toys with my own hands and can do some pretty incredible things today, because I learned to be creative.  My sisters could play house, make doll clothes, cook marvelous chocolate candy, and do a host of fun things.

     Today it is nonsense computer games programmed to all kinds of fantasies.  Look at this statement I mentioned earlier as written for “Omni” magazine, “I believe, seriously, that video games are going to deal Christian mythology its greatest blow.”  (Joyce Thompson, as printed in Omni Magazine, date unknown.) The new fantasies are actually introducing the world of mythology and false religions to our children.  No wonder you cannot get them in church without a rock concert to hype them up.

     An edition of “Focus On The Family”, Citizen publication, deals with toys under the title, “Toys You Never Dreamed Of.”  They described them as “occultic and sadistic.”  One game of Nintendo is named “Wizards & Warriors.”  Here is a quote from Focus On The Family Citizen

          “‘Wizards & Warriors’ resembles the occultic game ‘Dungeons and Dragons,’ a game that police investigators say leads some youth into satanism.”  (Focus On The Family Citizen, November, 1989, p. 2.)

 1 Peter 1

14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

Here is another statement from Citizen that should be all a parent needs to burn this whole system.

          “Dr. Thomas Radecki, a practicing psychiatrist and chairman of the National Coalition on Television Violence, says Nintendo has markedly negative effect on young players.

          “‘I’ve already hospitalized two young men, ages 13 and 14.  One boy played Nintendo 35 hours a week.  Although he was an intelligent kid, his grades had fallen off markedly and he’s having a real problem with his temper.  The other one . . . he was having problems with aggressive behavior.’

          “Radecki said the danger of Nintendo lies in the way it teaches children how to resolve conflict.  ‘Even though it’s done all lightheartedly, you don’t get the feeling you’ve killed a human being, you just killed some disgusting little creep on the screen.  Still, it’s rehearsing a way of thinking and a way of teaching that research shows does have some small and cumulatively harmful effect on the development of normal children.  Nintendo is causing physically aggressive and verbally aggressive behavior in normal children.'”  (Focus On The Family Citizen, November, 1989, p. 2.)

Beastly Creatures

     When you combine fantasies, magic, and beastly creatures; you have an unholy trio capable of spoiling the brain of any child.  Let us go back to wholesome adventure where our children learn creative things that are a part of the real world.  Even play and games can be based on meaningful experiences.  Everything we do in preparation for life’s adventures, when it is based on ideas of value and meaning, are lessons learned that leave the child with a sense of well-being.  We sleep good after we play games that teach us wholesome emotions.

The New Season

     Every year the fare for children from Hollywood and its counterparts gets sicker.  A new program for 1996 is called, “Sabrina, The Teenage Witch.”  According to a review by John Carman, the show is called “airy comedy for preadolescents.”  John describes this series as “Sabrina’s Magic Time Machine.”  It is a story of witches, conversations with cats by magic, and trips in a time machine.  (“Sabrina’s Magic Time Machine,” by John Carmen, San Francisco Chronicles, Wednesday, September 25, 1996.)  Of course, the entertainment world loves witch stories because it furthers the cause of destroying the spiritual sensitivity of children.  A child’s innocence is their glory and when that is gone evil has an open door to their heart.

     The themes of almost every children’s entertainment includes fantasies, magic, and beastly creatures.  It is my opinion that all three themes are equally destructive.  Parents must educate themselves to know what is of value in their children’s lives and then center their home on those values.  It would be impossible to insulate your child from all of these influences, but you can prepare them to deal with them in a positive way.  If the home and the child’s education is filled with the right values, along with trust and happiness, nothing the world does will defeat you and your family.  When you compare a wholesome family with what the world has to give, it is not a contest.  The families that are losing are those who do not take time to know the truth or the time to really be a family.
