“BORN AGAIN”: ENTHRALLED WITH THE HOLY BIBLE

A BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN WILL IMMEDIATELY FALL IN LOVE WITH THE HOLY BIBLE. The Bible will no longer be just a Book but the Infallible Truth. The new creature that the Holy Spirit has created will find this breathtaking Book a marvelous delight. Apostle Peter said it beautifully, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” (I Peter 1:23)

It is truth by the Holy Spirit that creates this newborn believer. It is supernatural and it breaks the powers of the flesh and the world and prepares the soul to explode in newness. Further, Apostle Peter said, “Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:…” (I Peter 2:1-2) When you are miraculously “Born Again” you will have victory in your soul. I get information from negative people all the time talking about how impossible it is to live a pure life. The problem is simple, they have never been “Born Again”. The church world is full of these poor souls that are living defeated lives. That’s not what our Lord has planned for them or you.

Listen to the Apostle Paul declare the glory and victory of a soul that’s been to the cross. “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.” (Romans 6:1-6)

It’s a simple step. Jesus is a supernatural Savior and His Blood is mighty to save. If you can believe that then find an altar and fling yourself on that altar. Tell God in Jesus Name that you surrender all to Him and then do it. Repent of sin, confessing yourself lost and bound for hell and then believe that He is ready to change you. It may happen in a flash or He may see that you are not quite ready. Be committed and He will know it, then claim it, wait on it, and at the perfect moment the new person will come alive. It will be shouting time when the burden of sin is gone and you are free to obey Him. Only the power of the Holy Spirit can do the work and He will. BORN AGAIN, JUST LIKE JESUS SAID

AN ENCOUNTER WITH JESUS CHRIST WHERE YOU ARE TOTALLY TRANSFORMED INTO A NEW CREATURE IS THE GREATEST MOMENT YOU WILL EVER EXPERIENCE. Heaven’s joy will flood your soul and at the same time the burden of sin will disappear. Martin Luther rightly said, “A Born Again Christian can do what they please to do.” When you have been totally “re-born” by the Word and the Spirit, you are a free soul. A “New Born” Christian is not bound to the Law, they actually live above the Law. The law was a “school master” to bring us to Christ. It shows us how wretched we are and how desperately we need a Redeemer.

We must remember that regardless of how religious or upright we live, unless we are “Born Again” we are still eternally lost. The multitude of decent people that will spend eternity in the Lake of Fire is the saddest thought I ever have. I watch people, share their burdens, even preach funerals and see their lost condition and weep. Jesus left no room to doubt, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” (John 3:3b)

The way Jesus Christ preached this truth was unique. A well known and honest man asked the question that opened the door. “Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.” (Saint John 3:4-8) This is the absolute truth.

Churches are full of devoted members that have never been “Born Again”. Mostly the burden of this fact lays at the feet of preachers and church leaders. The soft sell of religion has laid the foundation for this calamity. “Just say that you believe that He is the sacrifice and claim Him as your Savior and you are now a Christian.” It is that simple but much deeper. A “Born Again” experience is the work of Holy Ghost power and the individual will be totally transformed. Until that happens you are only religious regardless of how sincere. A “Born Again” life has been changed from self-centered to God-centered. They are a brand new individual. Here’s how Apostle Paul said it. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;…” (II Corinthians 5:17-18)

LOT PITCHED HIS TENT TOWARD SODOM “This Unclean World Is A Dangerous Place To Live”

I have never seen anyone pitch their tent toward Sodom that did not soon dwell in Sodom. The next point with Lot was he sat in the gate of Sodom. The Sodomites had voted him to be on the city council. Then came the utter destruction of his family by the unclean lifestyle that Lot had led them to live. Here was a great nephew of the great father of faith. Every potential for success was squarely at Lot’s feet. No one ever speaks of Lot without tying his name to Sodom and Gomorrah, while no one ever speaks of Abraham without remembering the ‘Promise Land.’ A powerful uncle and his sad, defeated nephew!

The result of choices are always unforgettable. A few souls have made bad choices but woke up and turned around. The Prodigal Son came home empty but he did come home just in time. Judas Iscariot could not have had a better beginning, but then choose the route to hell. Look at King Saul, head and shoulder above his peers. He even prophesied after he was anointed and for a while pursued the right road. Once he pitched his tent toward error, he never turned back. Seeking advise from the witch of Endor was his last resort. He was already a dead man when he left her hideout.

Lot probably never smiled again after he watched the lovely wife of his youth turn back to Sodom. A great man’s wife is the right arm of happiness. Sons, daughters, grandsons, and granddaughters were so bound to the sin city of dad’s choice that they laughed him to shame as he pleaded for their departure with him. The two daughters that fled the city brought more shame than those that burned to death. Lot has got to be the most shamed man in the First Testament.

America is quickly becoming a modern Sodom and Gomorrah. God is no respecter of persons and America will pay the price. Maybe the Rapture will occur before the hammer falls, but we must not be so sure that we refuse to cry over our country and lost loved ones. Look at the depraved marks of the tattoo world. Consider how many of the church families with sons and daughters that are living in unmarried homes. The church nurseries are filled with illegitimate children. No, they should not be turned away, but we should be repenting of the decay and crying out against their shame.

If you pitch your tent toward Sodom be assured the dye is cast. There must be an abrupt turnaround if you are going to avert a similar end as Lot. Also Godly families must raise their children without the compromise of the world. Quit allowing video games that are filled with violence. Discipline television or better still remove it from your home. Monitor Face Book and do not allow the filfty rock culture to adorn your children’s bedrooms. Train your children to live morally clean lives. If they pitch their tent toward Sodom right in your home, be assured that their future is probably fire and brimstone just like Lot’s family. Abraham watched on the plains of Sodom. I’m sure he wept as he bowed before our God and prayed while judgment fell.

THE DEFEAT OF DEATH, A SUNBURST AT MIDNIGHT

THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST WAS A GLORIOUS SUNBURST AT MIDNIGHT. If Jesus had not risen from the dead, not just a return from death to die again, but with absolute victory over death, all He had said would be empty words. This sermon gives us assurance that Jesus Christ was God in the flesh that defeated the ultimate enemies of human life. Sin is the seed of death and our redeemer could not obliterate death without obliterating sin. Neither sin nor death has power over the soul that has embraced the Life and Victory of the Eternal Son of God. Jesus said, “Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.” (John 14:19)

The descent of Jesus Christ into the heart of the earth is one of the great highlights in Christ’s Redemption. The Lord had told His disciples that He would spend three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. “For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” (Matthew 12:40) This proves beyond dispute that Jonah was miraculously preserved in the fish’s belly for seventy two (72) hours. Jonah’s experience was a Prophetic event and a perfect rendering of Christ’s warfare with the powers of hell. Jonah spoke of this dark battle in the depth of the sea, “And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice. For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me. Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.” (Jonah 2:2-4)

That fits perfectly with the great old song that we sung just before I preached.
“UP FROM THE GRAVE HE AROSE
WITH A MIGHTY TRIUMPH O’ER HIS FOES
HE AROSE A VICTOR FROM THE DARK DOMAIN
AND HE LIVES FOREVER WITH THE SAINTS TO REIGN.”

The Lord’s presence in the heart of the earth was not a walk in the park. Every saint that had died since creation was waiting in Abraham’s Bosom for the Mighty Savior to arrive. He had finished Redemption by His sacrifice of Blood for all the living. Now that victory had to be manifest in upper Sheol for the righteous dead. What a triumphant moment when He led the march out of the realm of the dead straight by Jerusalem and up to the Father’s presence. Matthew spoke of this in his Gospel. “Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.” (Matthew 27:50-53)

This is not a message for a “ONCE IN THE YEAR CELEBRATION”, but for life everlasting. Please help me shout while you listen to this Sanctuary Sermon.

THE POWER AND AUTHORITY OF THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD

Righteousness is supernatural when it is God’s righteousness. Self produced righteousness may make you a good father or mother and even a good citizen or church member, but God’s righteousness is power to transform men and to change our world. Studying the righteousness of God from a Biblical perspective is both thrilling and indescribable. Let’s study this sanctuary sermon and learn what is available by the grace of God. Once you experience His righteousness you will never forget it.

We must speak of two expressions of God’s righteousness. The first is what the Bible calls“Imputed Righteousness,” and the second is “Imparted Righteousness.” When a repentant sinner comes to God by Jesus Christ and repents of sin, righteousness is imputed to that soul.“But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;…” (Romans 4:24) Our Father actually looks at that sinner who is fully ready to believe and surrender to Christ and imputes to them Christs’ righteousness and makes him or her just as clean and pure as Christ Himself. This is why a drug addict, a drunkard or any unclean person can kneel before God and be transformed instantly. Drug addicts can leave such a place of surrender and be free in a moment. A harlot woman or an unclean man will, in a flash, be a new person wanting no more of this world’s filth. This is “Imputed Righteousness”. It is a clean heart and mind by Christ’s Blood. This is the kind of convertions the church once had by the thousands and they literally transformed communities.

God by Christ, imputes righteousness to every person who comes to Christ a sinner, repenting and believing. I have watched these new believers with this miracle of “Imputed Righteousness” and they transform the atmosphere in the church. All they want is more and more of Christ and His Word. These are called, “new born babes.” Apostle Peter said, “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:…” (I Peter 2:2) New born Christians give new life to the work of God.

It must be remembered that “Imputed Righteousness”is God’s way of bringing the young Christian to “Imparted Righteousness.” “Imparted Righteousness” is God’s plan to make you a powerful saint and to use you to change others to know Christ. Righteousness is God’s power and holiness in you and His plan to send Holy Ghost revival. Saints are not just good people, they are righteous and possessed with the likeness of Christ. Saints are called Christians because they are Christ-like.

Apostle Paul said by the Holy Ghost, “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (I Thessalonians 5:23) Jesus said, “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” (Matthew 5:6) This is a lifelong pursuit. Our keeping of God’s commandments and truth is good and absolutely must fill your desires, but “His righteousness is forever the action of His Blood, His Holy Word, and His Holy Spirit.” I do not care how good you live you are not Godly and righteous in your own goodness. Godly righteousness is His power in you, every hour and every day. This glorious righteousness will bring the blessings of God in all you are and do. It is beauty to your face, it is purity in your voice, it is strength in your testimony and it is joy in your worship.

These followings verses have been the lifelong joy of my life.“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” (Psalms !:1-3)

SUBMIT YOURSELVES THEREFORE TO GOD (He Who Is On Fire For Christ Is Too Hot For The Devil To Handle)

THE DEVIL IS TOTALLY DEFEATED IN A LIFE THAT IS THE PROPERTY OF JESUS CHRIST ALONE. How desperate we are for men and women that have abandoned all else to honor and serve our LORD JESUS CHRIST. We all see the great majority of professing Christians as so entangled in the world system and so controlled by it’s ideas that JESUS CHRIST is only a name.

Our Lord can only show Himself the Victor when He is your “All In All”. This great Truth is right here in the Word of God. “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” (James 4: 7-10)

This kind of life cannot be defeated by Satan. Many years ago I read or heard a beautiful saying that I have repeated often, “HE WHO IS ON FIRE FOR CHRIST IS TOO HOT FOR THE DEVIL TO HANDLE” Defeated Christians are a terrible witness to all that know them. You hear people put the blame for their failures and defeats on others and never willing to admit their own carelessness. No person regardless of their power of devilishness can stop or defeat a trusting and obeying believer.

How wonderful to know that Satan has no rule over anyone that does not submit to the world and their flesh. He is a totally defeated foe. Listen to the words of Jesus Christ. “And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.” (Luke 10:18) It’s beautiful to read the statesman Prophet Isaiah decribe the utter banishment of the devil. “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.” (Isaiah 14:12-15)

Our victory in our walk must always be seen as Jesus Christ’s victory on the Cross. Our Lord said as He died, “It is Finished.” Our enemy is a defeated reality, and we live by faith in the completed work of the Triumphant Son Of God. Our submitting must be a total surrender to trust Him only. He is our everything and we live the life of an “Overcomer” in every choice. As the Holy Ghost said by the Apostle Paul, “But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.” (Galatians 6:14)

IT’S LATER THAN YOU THINK: “Reviewing Eight Facts About Life After the Rapture”

“SUDDEN DESTRUCTION” is going to be the order of daily life after the Rapture. The Holy Ghost spoke by Apostle Peter with a faithful warning to this church world. “But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.” (I Thessalonians 5:1-4)

Our world has been so duped by the devil that these great truths are mostly lost to the multitudes. Where are the preachers that are willing to preach like a dying man to a lost world? Let me list for you again these coming dark scenarios. They were poured into my heart by the Holy Ghost.
1. Prepare your mind to deal mentally with absolute darkness from the Spirit realm.
2. Prepare to pray with no great emotional relief.
3. Get prepared to endure hunger and thirst to the point of starvation.
4. Get ready to suffer the ravaging of your life from those old friends and family members that will be ashamed of your commitment to Jesus Christ.
5. Prepare for attacks of fear that will be relentless and devastating.
6. Prepare for grotesque creatures out of hell attacking, mutilating and tormenting you.
7. Be prepared for a World Health system so overloaded and inadequate as to be helpless.
8. Prepare for death and murder, rape and molestation, the absence of police protection and mobs of mindless people driven crazy by the out of control world.

The Word of God is absolute and when we read these warnings we must take them seriously. When Jesus dictated the last seven letters to His church, He concluded with the letter to Laodicea. These are His words: “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.” (Revelation 3:15-21)

This crowd of lukewarm church members of which many have never been truly “Born Again” were “spued out of His mouth.” Some believe that, if they were once saved they will still go in the Rapture but why take that chance? It’s better to fall on your knees and get thoroughly right with God. Pray until the witness of the Holy Spirit inspires your soul with fresh fire from His altar and you will know you are ready.

Let’s use these dark truths of what is about to happen to warn everyone we know. This material is yours to use as your own. I want to see a multitude get ready for the Rapture. The command of the Lord is that we warn every soul about God’s awesome judgement soon to come. “Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.” (Ezekiel 3:19) We also must warn the righteous to be faithful in righteousness. “Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.” {Ezekial 3:21)

EMERGENCY! THE UNPREPARED WILL SHORTLY BE “THE LEFT BEHIND” (Eight things you must know if you are “Left Behind”.)

IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET READY FOR THE RAPTURE THEN YOU MUST GET READY FOR THE ANTICHRIST, THE DEVIL AND THE RELIGIOUS MOBS. You cannot afford to suddenly be left after the Rapture and not know what you are going to face and how to deal with the darkness you will endure and not be eternally lost. You must know the kind of powers and destruction coming on this world. If you cannot serve the Lord now then you will need to understand how much worse it will be when the devil actually rules the world with no restraints.

Let me list eight things you will encounter and how you must prepare.
1. Prepare your mind to deal mentally with absolute darkness from the Spirit realm.
2. Prepare to pray with no great emotional relief.
3. Get prepared to endure hunger and thirst to the point of starvation.
4. Get ready to suffer the ravaging of your life from those old friends and family members that will be ashamed of your commitment to Jesus Christ.
5. Prepare for attacks of fear that will be relentless and devastating.
6. Prepare for grotesque creatures out of hell attacking, mutilating and tormenting you.
7. Be prepared for a World Health system so overloaded and inadequate as to be helpless.
8. Prepare for death and murder, rape and molestation, the absence of police protection and mobs of mindless people driven crazy by the out of control world.

The Spirit of God shook me before this sermon was delivered. The time is here! The multitudes of unprepared men and women will have been “Left Behind.” To dare consider what the world will be like is scary. Sons and daughters will call their mothers and fathers frantically. No answers will only heighten their feelings of doom. Hurrying home to their parents will increase their anxiety. The car is in the drive but no one answers the door. They know where the hidden key is located and quickly it will be retrieved. Once in the house there is no answer to their trembling voice. Shoes are beside the bed and night clothes are under the cover. Their parents have simply vanished leaving everything behind.

God’s perfect Scripture clearly outlines such an awesome day. Jesus said, “And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.” (Matthew 24:39-42) These words from Christ are perfect in describing the event we know as the Rapture. Everyone of us know the horrors the world experienced when the flood suddenly destroyed every living soul. Jesus said the coming hour will be as it was in Noah’s day.

There will be midnight disaster for the multitudes of souls that do not have the wedding garment about themselves. Jesus told a parable to heighten this truth. “And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Matthew 22: 11-13)

The very last thing He said to His church is found in the “Letter to His Church at Laodicea. Nothing or no Truth in the Bible is found closer to the Rapture. There is one verse between the warning and the call to “come up hither.” He said, “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.” (Revelation 3:15-19)

His Truth must become a primary conversation among God’s saints. We must sit down with our families and friends and talk about what to do if suddenly they find that Jesus came and they are left. Where will you go? How will you get food to feed your family? The government at that time under the Antichrist will know every person or family with a stock pile of foods and supplies. Small arms and even a few machine guns will be no defense against drones over your head with spitfire missiles aimed at your dwelling. The world system already knows where every family lives that are stockpiling for the coming hour of “One World Control.”

You are desperate to quit planning how to survive during the coming darkness but rather how to be gone. The next few weeks I plan to help the foolish virgins know what to do to save their soul when you can no longer save your life and your family. Please listen to this Sermon.

WINNING THE PRIZE OF THE “BRIDE OF CHRIST”

THE BRIDE OF CHRIST IS THE HIGHEST REWARD OF THE NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH. Over and over in Scripture we hear the words similar to this statement: “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” (Revelation 22:12) We are saved by grace and through faith but the rewards of the Lord are given to those that earn them. The Bride is the highest reward and the New Heaven and New Earth is the least reward. If you are saved, “Born Again,” and an“Overcomer” of this world, sin, and the devil, then you will have eternal life in the New World. Remember the Lord’s words,”He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. “(Revelation 21:7)

Apostle Paul was explicit about the fact of many believers losing their rewards because they were shabby in their lifestyle and labors. The Holy Ghost spoke using his anointed lips and pen stating, “But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. ” (I Corinthians 3:10b-13) You will decide by your surrender and dedication what your reward or rewards will be. It’s exciting to consider our Wonderful Lord honoring us with His rewards and it’s sad to think of losing what we could have inherited. “If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.” (1 Corinthians 3: 14-15) This is plain truth, so make your life count for Him.

Apostle Paul was clearly dedicated to receiving the highest possible reward for his lifes work He said, “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:13-14) Note the words this great Apostle spoke, “The PRIZE of the high calling” was his goal and passion.

Now we must get it in our heads that living in the city “New Jerusalem” is for the Bride, those with the highest reward. John the Revelator said, “And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.” (Revelation 21:24-27) Here is a multitude of precious souls, saved and receiving many rewards, but not the highest one and the prize

I HAVE DETRIMINED LONG AGO, LIKE THE APOSTLE PAUL, TO GIVE UP EVERYTHING FOR THE “HIGH CALLING OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS.” To be saved and live in the New Heaven and New Earth is worth this whole world a thousand times, but to be His Bride for Eternity is the ultimate “REWARD”. He has chosen you but you must make the sacrifice. You are saved by Grace but you will be rewarded according to your sacrifice and great devotions to Him.

CAPTURED BY HIS LOVE: A SONG OF SOLOMON

“The voice of my beloved! behold, he cometh leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills. My beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh forth at the windows, shewing himself through the lattice.” (Song of Solomon 2:8-9) This book is the greatest “Love Story” in the Bible. The entire Song of Solomon is a drama of His love for the Chosen Bride and the Bride’s love for the Bridegroom.

This vision of the Lord Jesus Christ is another one of those capturing scenes in the First Testament. How in the world did His Own Flesh and Blood miss the beauty of His Presence? Religion had stolen their heart and they could not see beyond the great system of theology called Judaism. Their feast days were magnificent and their worship was planned to splendor, but they had allowed it to become empty of life. We live in a similar day when worship is more music and emotion than the Life of Christ in the Spirit.

The “Punk Rock” Churches are so full of lights, noise, and giddy emotions until Jesus Christ is offended and the Holy Ghost is blasphemed. It satisfies man’s superstition for something unseen but has no effect in being captured by His Divine Love. Those converted to these churches are filled with soulical worship no different from being obsessed with an Eastern Guru. It’s a good way to go to hell singing every step.

But to be captured by the Love of our Redeemer is life everlasting. This sermon has five very important points. You can learn from all five facts:

* Teaching and learning to love as children, youth and family!

* Discovering the Love of our Heavenly Father!

* Jesus Christ gave His life, it was not taken!!

* The love of being transformed by His shed Blood!

* Agape Love is Divine Love and it manifests great joy and praise in the believer’s heart!

Worship is Love that is directed to our Father and to our personal Lord. Genuine worship is man’s highest capacity. Worship can be emotional but it is far above simple emotion. God created us with a whisper of His Own Spirit and the spirit of man can have fellowship by spirit to Spirit. Spiritual worship allows the Holy Spirit to shed abroad His Love in our heart. The Holy Spirit said, “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” (Romans 5:5)

The soul of the righteous is open to love of which our world has no knowledge. While they run to pleasure we attend the Sanctuary of the Lord and they question what they consider of no meaning. Our heart says with Solomon, “Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.” (Song of Solomon 1:4) Our vision of Him is so glorious that we sing, “O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely.” (Song of Solomon 2:14)
