America is in Bible Prophecy

America has a special prophetic place among the nations. No, I do not find America named by name in Scripture, but I certainly find America in the prophetic margins. For instance, we are clearly the sheep nation spoken of by the Lord Himself in Matthew twenty-five. There is no other nation that even comes close to fulfilling this great prophetic statement, and its total fulfillment will not be complete until the end of the Seven Years of the Great Tribulation. America has an incredible part to play from now until then. I’ll come back to that prophecy.

Over the next thirteen months, we are going to see a very strong rebound of our economy. President George W. Bush is going to win his second term with a landslide. There is one primary reason for all of this, and that is his simple devotion to being honest, sincere, and Bible believing. No, he is not perfect, but he is a genuine constitutional leader for this nation. He may well be the most Bible-conscious president since Abraham Lincoln. His commitment to constitutional issues and his appointment of judges are the most important tasks to help stop the liberal’s hell-bent determination to make America a godless, humanistic nation. The liberals, most Democrats, some Republicans, and others want every semblance of Biblical truth removed from public life; but they will fail. In fact, they see the handwriting on the wall, and they are angry.

There are four general classes of professing Christians in America from many different backgrounds. The liberals within the church world are part of the humanistic direction, championed by liberal politicians. They hate President Bush equally with the liberal politicians and liberal media. The next class, and the largest group, are conservatives in our churches that love America and conservative politics, but have forsaken the cross-centered and separated life of Biblical righteousness. This class will miss the Rapture but turn to God during the Tribulation period. There will be millions saved in the Tribulation, and America will be forced to stand for Israel during those dark seven years following.
The third class is comprised of the great saints of America that are totally surrendered to Jesus Christ and Godly Biblical living. They are the prayer warriors that hold America strong in the face of incredible evil. This class is growing and will continue to become stronger for the Lord and His Word. This is the Rapture-ready people in America’s church, and this group will be removed by the Rapture before the seven years.

The fourth class is the radical right that hates the Rapture and that hates the idea of Israel as the "prophetically chosen people" who will soon possess the Promise Land. This fourth group, the radical right conspiracy-led crowd, hates President Bush and are ready to call him an Antichrist. They put him in league with the Zionist conspiracy ideas and believe he was responsible for the September 11, 2000, catastrophe. Attorney- General Ashcroft is equally hated because of the Patriot Act passed by Congress and for his success in enforcing that act. These people on the righteous right are just as dangerous to America as the liberal left. The first and fourth classes will be turned over to a reprobate mind because they "love not the truth." (II Thessalonians 2:11-12)

America and its military might is a gift from God to protect Israel and stop the anti- Semitic forces from obliterating the Jewish people from the face of the earth. It is also a gift to the world to hold the Islamic terrorists from establishing an "Islamic One World Government" and destroying every believer in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. There is no question, but at this very moment, were it not for America and the incredible technology of military superiority and the willingness of our president to use that force, the world would be far more dangerous. Listen to the front-runners for President among the Democrats and dare to doubt that they would concede our safety and independence to an Israel and Bible-hating United Nations organization.

Jesus promised that a nation or nations would be awarded the status of being "sheep nation(s)" when He returns to set up His kingdom on this earth. That time is after the Rapture and Seven Years of Tribulation and must be fulfilled. Here are His Words,"When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left." "And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." (Matthew 25:31-33, 40) The leader of these Sheep nations is America. We Americans do not understand just how blessed we are and what a prophetic privilege our God has afforded us.

The Rapture of the church is eminent, and everything we see developing from a prophetic view can dramatically change in a "twinkling of an eye." (I Corinthians 15:52) Scripture sets the overall direction, but the dynamics of world events will be orchestrated as the Sovereign God gives orders. It’s an exciting age to have the joy of serving the Lord and watching for His return.
