The golden truth of the Holy Bible is also the greatest fact of human history – - “that God gave His only Begotten Son.” Jesus Christ was an eternal person that came out of that eternal realm where He reigned with His Father and became a man. He never ceased to be God because it is impossible for God to be less than God. He did not lay aside His nature, He simply joined the two natures into one. He was a God man. The Bible calls Him “Immanuel” (God with us).

If someone argues with this, then they must understand the mystery of man. We are human and limited, but we possess a God-breathed spirit within that makes the soul eternal. We are men with a little spirit and He was Spirit with a little man. The man dominates this spirit within us and we must willingly give ourselves in surrender to please God. In Jesus Christ, the Spirit dominates the person and He willingly gave Himself to be human. Of course, it is a mystery- – the greatest of all mysteries- – but it is either true or we are lost.

Satan hates this relationship of the Father and His Son because it is his total defeat. No doubt this love of God the Father for His Son drove Satan to jealousy and was a factor of his rebellion. Jesus said, “I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven” (Luke 10:18). The Son of God was right there as part of the cleansing of God’s presence from that host of wicked angels and He saw them falling down to the midair in judgment. Soon, the Son of God will cast them down to the earth and, later, to the Lake of Fire.

The “Jesus Only Doctrine” is not a denial of the Father, it is the denial of the uniqueness and personhood of the Son. Satan hates the eternal Godhead that includes this Divine person of the Son, the “Only Begotten” made of woman by the power of the Holy Spirit. Satan planned an attack against Mary and Joseph, but an angel was sent by God to cover their departure for Egypt. Jesus Christ’s entire life was constantly threatened, but angels ascended and descended as His protectors. All hell could not touch Him until His Father was ready to crucify Him.

Every false religion in the world denies the Son. Any religious doctrine that denies that Jesus was Divine from eternity, right into the womb of Mary and in every moment of His life, is utterly false. Any doctrine that allows for one moment of defeat in Christ’s perfect life is contrary and damnable. Any teaching that places Jesus Christ in hell burning and tormented by the devil is a satanic lie. When the Savior of men said, “It is finished” (John 19:30), the Divine blood had wrought its perfect work of salvation. His trip to hell was in perfect victory over death, hell, and the grave. After that victory was finished down below, He arose the victor of all the dark domain.

The Father by the Spirit called Him, “The Lily of the Valley” and “The Bright and Morning star.” (Song of Solomon 2:1, Revelation 22:16) “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name” (Philippians 2:9). We will soon learn this unique and greatest of all names at the great resurrection of His saints. He is the “Rose of Sharon” and the “Bread of Life.” He is “altogether lovely.” Every time the devil or one of his imps shows up shove this great truth of our Christ in their face. No wonder Satan is utterly defeated when we declare in faith, “In Jesus Name.”

The Battle of Armageddon is the “Mother of all Battles.” This great slaughter of the Antichrist army is the closing event of the Great Tribulation. It is also the beginning of the one thousand year reign of Jesus Christ on earth. It is fitting that this is the greatest battle ever waged, as well as the greatest slaughter ever experienced by mankind.

Satan and his Antichrist are already preparing much of the earth for this fight. Millions of radical Islam followers are training to be suicidal in their struggle against Jerusalem. The West is almost as vicious in their concept of the Jews and their capital city as radical followers of Islam. Both the East and the West could easily enlist millions to be ready to meet somewhere in the Middle East and march toward Jerusalem. It is the most loved and the most hated city on the earth.

This battle will occur in the northern section of Israel in a place known as the Valley of Megiddo. Without question, the army will be so massive as to spread out into Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan. Already, the borders of these three countries and the borders of Israel must live in an alert state of mind because of prophetic preparation.

The hatred for Israel that fills the Middle East and much of the world is a prophetic fulfillment. It could not be otherwise or we could not be living in the end times. Satan and the spirit of his Antichrist and false prophet are producing a worldwide mindset that is a prelude to what will happen after the Rapture. Look at this passage of truth, “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty” (Revelation 16:13-14). We are only witnessing the evidence of hatred that will march with this army at the Battle of Armageddon. This action will occur during the Great Tribulation period.

The clean up from such a slaughter as will occur cannot be accomplished by human hands. Therefore, the God of Holy Scripture and the Spirit of Prophecy has prearranged this answer. Vultures, carnivorous birds, will be called by their Creator to descend en masse and devour the rotten flesh. The death toll will probably exceed one hundred million or maybe two hundred million. It will be death on the battlefield unknown in human history. John the Revelator declared God’s plan, “And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great” (Revelation 19:17-18).

There are reports stating that vultures are appearing across the land of Israel in great flocks and breeding en masse. While I write, our staff is gathering data to prove or disprove that news. I believe it is true. There have been reports of this for several years, but I like to wait until the information becomes undeniable.

The Blood has provided grace that is available to every soul that will surrender to Jesus Christ. He alone is the pathway to eternal life and escape from the coming tribulation.

No one can look to the laws of God without being convinced of sin. They are GodÂ’s school master to bring us to Christ. We see how sinful the flesh is in the mirror of the Word. The preaching of the Bible has always had the effect of guilt. Often sinners are angry when they are told of sin because our God ordained the Word and His standards of righteousness to bring all men to conviction. The preacher must bear this task with great love for the sinner, in faith, that it will bring repentance instead of repulsion. The Holy Spirit was sent to us as a loving convicter to bridge this impasse.

The beauty of Biblical conviction is in its eternal results. “But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound” (Romans 5:20b). There is no depth of sin that grace cannot reach. There is no distance from God that sin does not call to the sinner to return. The Son of God delights in saving the worst of sinners. The great author of “Amazing Grace” was traveling at seas when a storm arose and the rickety old ship was about to go under. He suddenly saw the horror of his sins and knew his soul was about to descend into Hell. He cried out to God for mercy, and mercy was extended. The ship was saved but of greater value a soul was saved.

It’s impossible to be forgiven until there is confession of our state of sin. There is none righteous, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Any religion or attitude that starts men’s walk of faith at any port but sin’s port is destined to deceive. “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me” (Psalms 51:5). Our soul is lost in the terrible chasm of our own sin and self-righteousness. When we can see that with a repentant heart, there is immediate Hope.

The righteousness in Christ cannot be earned. It is a work of Grace, “unmerited favor.” One of the towering words of our new covenant is “propitiation.” The promise says, “Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God” (Romans 3:25). Propitiation means someone has taken our judgment and become a victim in our behalf. The Father crucified His Son in your stead that you might go free.

The only claim on this great “Grace” is your guilt. If you think yourself to be “not guilty” you have no approach to Him. Only the guilty can be saved and forgiven. This is not just a door into our Christian faith; it is the highway all the way to the “pearly gates.” We must never see ourselves as worthy but always as unworthy.

Neither may we continue in sin expecting grace to offer us a free ride. The great Apostle Paul settled that delusion long ago. “God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?” (Romans 6:2). This grace is an imputation of righteousness that transforms the repentant sinner into a saint of God. His righteousness is imparted into the sin-sick soul as the very nature of God. If we cling daily to grace there is a daily supply of righteousness that goes from peak to peak until we shine like lights in the darkness and like a lighthouse on the rocky shores of despair.

Sinners need those living epistles of Grace, godly saints that reflect His great grace, just like they need the Gospel preached unto them. This righteousness awaits your helpless surrender that reaches to His abundant supply. You can never produce this righteousness in all your efforts, but He awaits your faith that reaches only to Him. He is abundant Grace in all His person.
