The Holy Ghost, A Wall Around His Saints

The ministry of the Holy Ghost in Christ’s Church is extremely important. The Bible declares that we are sealed by the Holy Ghost. “And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption” (Ephesians 4-30). Apostle Paul stated, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God” (Romans 8-14). The believer that will allow the Holy Ghost of God to be real in their life will find themselves full of life and power for service. We are helpless in our own strength. This is why Jesus told His disciples to tarry in Jerusalem until they were endued with power from on High. He plainly promised that they would be anointed for great ministry. “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1-8). It is time for our churches to return to the anointing that breaks the yoke. Multitudes are bound by the devil and helpless to be free without the mighty move of the Holy Ghost. Demon possession is occurring all over our world and a Spirit-filled church is the one answer for victory in those lives. The believers in our world are under great stress. Sickness is exploding, but a church alive can witness healing to its family. Let’s go back to Acts for the plan that God has left us. Tarrying saints will become empowered saints and the life of our churches will change. Are you willing to pay the price of full surrender? “Ye shall receive Power” is a promise from the Lord.

  1. Dear Pastor Chambers,
you hit the nail on the head; this is precisely what is needed in the church today. I am willing to pay the price of surrendering fully to the Lord. Thank you for the exhortation!!
    God Bless You.

This is exactly what I was dealing with today in my prayer closet!! I felt overwhelmed with
the issues in the world and in the church and its powerlessness. I was praying for power!
    Thank you

I absolutely agree and have been working in the ministry of deliverance and inner healing for the last 12 years, mostly on a one on one or small group basis. It is awesome to watch eyes being opened by the power of Holy Spirit, captives set free.
There are so many “dead” churches, where, maybe the Spirit visited at one time but now doesn’t even visit NOW. But praise God, He is pouring out His Spirit in the last of the last days, on those who will receive Jesus as Lord, and continue on as disciples.
    Thank God for the TRUTH.
    kEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

  4. Brother Chambers: Thank you for these wonderful 48 minutes! The “Midnight Cry” song has
always been a favorite of mine, And then you spoke of Psalm 139, the Psalm I love most!
“….all of my members (parts) were written, in thy book, when as yet there was none of
them.” (verse 14-16). These words are more than I can fathom! And then your very anointed
message! How could anyone not search their heart and fall on their knees to repent of any
wrong-doing before the throne of grace? “Come quickly, Lord Jesus!”

  5. Wow, what an incredible message!!! He’s about to move and we need to be found longing for more of Him when He rends the Heavens and comes down! Brother Chambers, I’m starting to wonder if you have a listening device hidden away in my prayer closet. 😉 I was amazed when you quoted from Moses in Exodus 33:15! The Lord has made that verse (and the fearful, joyful, powerful message contained therein, my own for years and years now, but you’re the first one I’ve ever heard mention the same thing about it. And Moses meant what he said too, because later on in Numbers 14 after the Lord pronounced His judgment on the Israelites for their unbelief about entering into the Promised Land, some of them decided to enter the Promised Land anyway. Moses warned them not to go up because now, the Lord would not be among them to give them victory. They refused to listen and went up anyway to defeat. Verse 44 says: “But they presumed to go up unto the hill top: nevertheless the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and Moses, departed not out of the camp.”

Since the Ark of the Covenant, God’s presence, didn’t go up, neither did Moses! We see that message throughout their wilderness journeys. When the Lord’s presence stopped at some spot, the Israelites made camp. When the Lord moved on, they did to. We are nothing without Him. Once we truly know that, we will only move when He says to move. We will be His faithful children who, by His grace, will have mastered the art (called submission) of playing “Father says,” (instead of ‘Simon says’) as our only way of life. In this sense, we will indeed be a perfect description of what our Lord said in John 3:8. In this coming Revival, I believe our Heavenly Father will finally have Himself a children who live out, day by day, the fulfillment of Deuteronomy 8:3/Matthew 4:4 by the power of the Holy Spirit of Truth living vibrantly within. These are the beginnings of those greater works our Savior King Jesus talked about. To boldly go beyond all temporal limits of comprehension (eye hath not seen nor ear heard) in our quest to love God greater than He has ever been loved before. We are not up to the task, but thank God, Christ IN us is more than able to do it. Because He has found Himself a final days Remnant who will have surrendered their all to Him, He will be able to manifest His love for His Father in greater obedience and greater works than man has ever seen so far, not counting His unmatchable work at Calvary of course. That goes without saying.

May God bless all of us who are allowing Him to ‘obedience train’ us 24/7 so that He will be able to use us without a second though when His mighty Revival begins! GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST!! He alone is worthy. Amen.
