This great Scripture leaves no doubt that something overwhelming is about to occur. Apostle Peter used words that cannot be misinterpreted. The first lines of today’s text plainly says that this fulfillment would be in the last of the last days before the Coming of the Lord. “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams” (Acts 2:17). The word for last means “beyond or at the close.” Already, the church was experiencing the early rain of Pentecost, but the latter rain would come in the end. As you read the rest of this prophecy, it is clear that the Latter Rain will happen at the same time as these great judgments. In fact, I believe it will be the judgments that cause men to seek God for the outpouring of The Holy Ghost. What I am seeing on the world news appears to be signs of overwhelming events. I expect to see the sun go dark and the moon turn to a bloody red in 2010. The Coming of the Lord consists of two phases: the Rapture and His return to earth. This all might begin either before the first phase or after the first phase and before He comes back to earth with the saints. One thing is for sure: We had better be ready!

I have a few additional thoughts to share:
Dear brother Chambers, I listened to your sermon called “Holy Ghost Outpouring and Judgment Coming” and it was so helpful. I’ve been following hard after our Lord for over 40 years, but the trials I’m facing right now are the worst I’ve ever seen. I also have friends, long time Believers, who are facing similar trials. We are all of us continuing to, by God’s grace, pray on through these trials looking for the promised victory. These days, it seems like almost anyone who believes in a coming awesome Revival of the Church is either considered nuts or is a Kingdom Now type of Believer. The Lord showed me a long time ago that this Revival is going to come before the Trib begins. It will be an incredibly powerful Revival, but for the Church, it will be a short one because while we’re being used mightily by Him to glorify His name, right in the middle of it all, the Rapture will happen. I truly believe this, and there are others who believe this also. It is so comforting to us few nuts out here to hear you preach about this subject!!! Some of us have no church home and sermons like yours help to encourage us that we are not alone. It’s nice to know that the Holy Spirit is revealing these things to you too.
I pray that our Father lead you to continue to preach on this glorious truth. I know that Tishri (in the Fall) is the current nation of Israel’s first month, but GOD called Nisan (Abib) the first month. Abib begins in March. It sure seems like Revival is at the door. I’ve been weeping, seeking and praying for this all my life. You see, unlike you, I’ve never known a real Pentecost even though I’ve searched all my life. But like the widow of Luke 18, God’s praying Remnant is about to be Avenged and I can’t wait. May God bless you and your dear wife. You are in our prayers and hearts. Not only my prayers and those of my husband, but these other suffering Believers I told you about who listen to your messages or read them.

What an encouraging message this is!! A genuine, HOLY Spirit Revival is about to manifest in this weary world. Oh how we all need more of God! Oh to desire Him and to NEED more of Him. I can hear the passion and longing in your messages, glory to God! By His grace, I pray that none of us be found complacent when He moves for His own. God bless you and your ministry Pastor Joseph.
