“Shekinah Glory,” The Visible Manifestation of God.

THE MIDDLE EAST IS IN ALMOST PERFECT ORDER FOR THE WAR NAMED IN THE HOLY BIBLE, “GOG AND MAGOG”. God’s glory (His Visible Manifestation or Shekinah) will be seen by the world. “And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.” (Ezekiel 38:22-23) If you think God is not about to reveal Himself, you should get back in His Holy Bible. Here are two incredible statements by Holy Ghost directed prophets, “Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence, (Isaiah 64:1) Then the Psalmist spoke by the Spirit. “He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.” (Psalms 72:6) The wicked during the “Seven Years of the Great Tribulation” will actually look up above their heads and see the visible presence of God’s Heavenly Throne and see His and Christ’s glory on and around the throne. “And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” (Revelation 6:15-17) Some of the reaction to my naming the “Shekinah Glory” has been amazing. One man “wiped the dust off his feet against me.” All I’m doing is quoting the Bible. Most people consider it literal until it crosses their opinion. Please know that I have exposed the emotional and paranormal activities that are destroying the faith of many but every substitute of the devil has a counterpart in the real. We recently viewed a film of Mount Sinai that is still black from the fire that God manifest when He descended to warn Israel of their sins and backsliding as they left Egypt for the Promise Land. I have looked at the region of Sodom and Gomorrah and the sheer emptiness of the land that God judged when the angel took Lot by the hand to save his life. How about the Mount of Transfiguration or the temple where the disciples were praying in Acts after Peter and John were turned loose following one night in jail? “And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.” (Acts 4:31) This world needs to be warned that the time of His Judgment is at the door. For the wicked and the unbelieving it will then be too late to fear God.

THIS WORLD IS ABOUT TO SEE THE SHEKINAH GLORY OF JEHOVAH GOD. That Shekinah will first be witnessed by the coalition of Gog and Magog, (Russia, Iran, Turkey, Ethiopia, Libya, etc.) when they march to destroy Israel. 1. Um – fire and brimstone falling from the sky is NOT a manifestation of the Glory of God.

The real manifestation of that glory is the sign of the presence of the Holy Spirit and it was seen by Moses at the Burning Bush, by all the children of Israel in the Pillar of Fire and Cloud, and by the Apostles on Pentecost when tongues of flame that sat upon their heads and the Holy Spirit descended upon them and Mary, the Mother of Jesus.

Jesus, Himself, at the end of the world will come in “great power and glory” – this is, as St John states in the prologue of his gospel, “we saw His glory, the glory of the only begotten of the Father. The Spirit, therefore, is the Love of the Father for the Son and the Son for the Father. And that love is all-glorious.

No more of this silliness, Joseph, saying that fire and brimstone is the glory of God. Such an event may lead to the glorification of God by those who see it, but it is very poor exegesis to claim it is the manifestation of God to man.

Far from the thelogian I would surely be – but you have opened my minds eyes concerning the Shekinah glory of Gods glow to re awaken a dream I had ( to say for now) concerning the Shekinah glory – which I knew nothing of until after sharing the 2nd journeys dream

I would share that with you if you would so desire to study it over and may surely see greater insight as to even what I have been shown by striving for the holy spirits guidance.

    God Bless

  3. “The Middle East is in almost perfect order for the war named in the Holy Bible, “Gog and Magog” ??

No, Joseph, it is still a ways off yet. Perhaps you should read Psalm 83, Isaiah 17, Obadiah, and Zechariah 12. The Middle East needs this war prophecy fulfilled first and foremost.

Notice in Ezekiel 38-9, that there is no mention of Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan or Saudi Arabia?? Look at the current headlines… who is threatening to wipe Israel’s enemies off the map? Iran’s proxies (Hamas and Hezbollah, spawn of the Muslim Brotherhood). What we’re seeing now is the Muslim Brotherhood gain control of the regions who border Israel on all sides.

Once they have control of them, they will confederate and attack Israel in a multi-frontal war, most likely from Damascus (Terrorist HQ). These nations seek to wipe Israel off the map, but the scriptures mentioned above show us that Israel will wipe THEM off the map instead (Genesis 12:3).

With their immediate enemy neighbours now out of the picture (the inner ring of Islamic nations), Israel will be able to re-claim their Promised Land at long last, re-build their Temple (Al Aqsa Mosque and Dome of the Rock destroyed), and be able to accommodate the multitudes of Jews who will be fleeing to Israel from the anti-semitism that will be at plague proportions from the aftermath of the Psalm 83 war victory.

Then, and only then, will the conditions be right on the ground for the stage setting of the “Gog of Magog” war prophecy to follow. Notice that Ezekiel never mentions those nations as being involved in this war? Surely, they’d be a part of it if they still existed…!

The Gog of Magog war names the outer ring of Islamic nations that come against Israel to take great wealth from the land. Currently, Israel has not great wealth, but they are on the verge of extracting natural gas and oil shale in massive proportions in the next few years, they’ll become a much larger nation when they expand out to the extents of the Promised Land, and they will acquire the wealth from those nations as well.

Israel will become a very large and wealthy nation in the region, and that will give them the incentive to attack. Russia desires gas in large quantities, and Israel’s supply will entice them so much that they’ll want it for themselves. The fact that they try to take it by force suggests that Israel probably aren’t doing business with them (or as much as they’d like).

Why do so-called prophecy “experts” ignore these scriptures that clearly demonstrate that this must occur first in order for the Gog of Magog war to be fulfilled??

  4. Hello Pastor Joseph.

I do think that the events of Psalm 83 are almost here. If one does a little research into the regions occupied by thos ementioned in that psalm, they are all of them occupied by Israel’s enemies today and are predominantly Muslim.

Where I differ from a lot of eschatologists is the timing of Ezekiel 38. Most place it before the Tribulation. Where I have the problem with this view is the finality of verses 20-23 which seem to me to parallel what happens in Revelation 19. Now could we have an earlier attempt of the “Gog-Magog” forces to invade Israel in the Pretrib times? Absolutely! I also believe God will protect Israel just as he has since its inception in 1948. In fact, there actally is a second Gog-Magog campaign organized by Satan himself after he is released from his 1000 year confinement (Revelation 20:7-10).

But even so, where we read that “Thus will I magnify myself, and sactify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know I am the Lord.” (Ezekiel 38:23). This is certainly not the case today nor will it be during the Tribulation when the Antichrist has deceived essentially the whole world. It sounds much more to be revealing events when Jesus comes back to defeat the Antichrist and his armies at Armageddon when his return will be so magnificent and glorious that the nations of the world can no longer doubt who he is.

What is for certain is that the Middle East will become ever more volatile as the days go by and on that I think we are all on the same page as far as that goes. I believe the details will reveal themselves the closer we get to them.

  5. Thank you Brother,
We need to be reminded that God will literally reveal Himself and His glory to the world. One of the greates proofs that the Bible is totally true is the prophecies we read about and see actually happening around us. If we have these proofs then why not believe in a literal creation 6 thousand or so years ago, Adam and Eve, Noah’s flood and the destruction of all breathing flesh except for Noah,s family and the animals in the Ark. We should look with excitement for the literal return of our Lord and Saviour and the changing of our bodies into eternal ones. We will be joined by the resurrected millions of believers to be with Him for ever. The Shekinah glory of God will be revealed to an unbelieving and wicked world before His terrible judgement. His recreation of a world and heaven where His glory will forever be seen by the redeemed can only be imagined. The deep, dark surrounding of evil over everyting that now exists will be gone forever. Praise Him…..

  6. I believe the fire and brimstone rain to be a manifestation of the power of G-d. To get on topic, I think that we may be close to seeing Isaiah 17 coming to pass but still have to wonder how it will come about. Israel has recently charged that they are readying the Golan Heights for Syrian refugees. I believe this to be a very crazy move on the part of the Israeli government. I can’t even imagine what would happen once the refugee terrorists get to Judea and Samaria. Maybe such a situation will spark the attack on Damascus, who knows?

Another topic regarding the destruction of Sodom: I do not understand how the evangelists can teach that homosexuals will be in heaven. Such a statement comes from Joel Osteen. How can these so-called men of G-d negate what the Word of G-d says? I take the Bible for exactly what it says…I’m not smart enough to twist and water down, and it says in Genesis that Sodom was destroyed because of vile abominations. Now, if this is not true, then someone needs to explain to me the ‘real’ reason why G-d destroyed Sodom because, I tell you what, I have had it up to my height with all the disgusting ‘shepherds’ out there that are leading people in mass to hell.

By the way, Pastor Joseph, great article! I don’t know anyone that is more anxious to see the future prophecies come to pass than I. See ya in the sky potentially very soon.

  7. I agree with Pastor Mike Hoggard. The Phrase Shekinah Glory is not scriptual. This type of teaching leads to unbiblical Religious Mysticism, such as found in the Catholic Mystics.

  8. Dear Pastor

Just read a while ago that Mount Sinai still has black burn marks from the presence of GOD upon it.

So then what do we call his presence? Glory, Light ( Logos & Light) = Shekinah…. not sure.

I only know to keep giving witness to others, that’s our job..Evangelize

Damascus will be burned, it is written.

Dear Peter; myself and another older style Pentecostal are studying Mike Hoggard, he likes to talk about the world a lot, he differs in style from Pastor Chambers. He has something to say.. does he have a better word to describe GOD’s presence? We may disagree with his definition of dreams, we need to study more though. Another word i found was Parousia (divine presence)

    God Bless

  9. THE WORD,”SHEKINAH” IS A HEBREW WORD THAT MEANS “THE DIVINE PRESENCE”. IT COMES FROM ANOTHER HEBREW WORD, “SHALAN” THAT MEANS “TO DWELL”. TO CALL THE WORD “SHEKINAH” EVIL MAY MEAN THAT MR. HOGGAFD IS ANTI-JEWISH OR INTO “REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY”. SOMEBODY PLEASE STUDY THAT. I’M AMAZED THAT THIS PURE WORD COULD BE ATTACKED BECAUSE OF SOMEONES PREJUDICE.

    Joseph Chambers

  10. We seem to argue a lot, We have a sinful nature, and have no idea how bad it is,
Some teachers may be wrong about what they say, However GOD is never wrong, Some of you listen
to people that are Charsamic, Those people are False Teachers, Yes they will lead their
followers to the lake of fire. Why waste your time Argueing about a word, Just make sure you
know the one who says I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE, If he is going to show himself and
his glory during the Tribulation, Hope we are not here for that, I want my new sinfree BODY.

  11. Dear Pastor

    Dear Peter Romer
The Watchman Video Broadcast 11-06-11 has the term Shekina in it, (@31:00 min mark) but Mike Hoggard is using it to describe a female goddess and is not looking at it as a Homonym spelled nearly (Shekinah) the same in Hebrew, they have different meanings like Shirley and surely

Please every one examine carefully every thing Pastor Mike says…

This has taken me a few hours to get this straight, Peter please be careful!
Joseph Chambers is a Godly Man and Mike Hoggard speaks of him indirectly without understanding

    Sincerely
    jaimie
