Recently we have began to receive lots of emails from Potter fans to fuss and gripe at us about Rev Chambers article on Harry Potter and the Anti Christ. The emails revealed even more startling results of the Potter series to us.

Most people were upset about the comparison to the Antichrist ideas presented in the Bible. Others just thought it was harmless reading with no effect on the readers. Anyone who does not accept or understand the Bible would not understand why people need to be prepared by Satan for the time of the Antichrist. But a more common and easily understood aspect revealed itself.

Over 90 % of those who emailed about the article were mean in tone and used language like stupid, pig-headed, mindless, close-minded, ignorant, etc. Most of the respondents seemed to be minors. Few had very much schooling considering the grammar used and many gross misspellings, and most computers have spell check. America's children have been dumbed down and it is evident in the emails. (This is why colleges spend part or all of the first year teaching the things that used to be learned in high school.) This group acted as if we were all just stupid for not immediately accepting books that most Americans seemed to be in love with. (Americans will flock after whatever is marketed properly.)

About 10% of our emails were from very well meaning adults who did not understand our feelings about fantasy as compared to imagination. They also did not realize that white magic being used to defeat greater evil is still witchcraft. This group wrote back to discuss things and seemed to accept and understand why we were disturbed, especially from a Christian point of view. These were kind in nature and respectful of our right to have an opinion. *Four wrote back to apologize for their original letter.

Of the 90% mentioned earlier, most were filled with cursing, swearing and very demeaning wording. These were usually minors. Their parents most likely have no idea what their children feel or what they send out over the Internet. I believe this group represents a MAJOR problem with the Potter series. Most children, who read and enjoy the series, enjoy and begin to approve of the use of basic occult ideas (often called White magic). This is dangerous for America's children as thy begin to lean toward Satanism instead of morality or Godliness. I am very serious and want you to know that these children are already perverted in their lifestyle. I cannot even tell you or partly spell many of the words that were used over and over.

Answer these questions. Why would normal, good children enjoy a book series that is worshipped by such obnoxious, vulgar children? Why do Americas parents and children always jump to be a part of every marketing ploy WITHOUT really looking at the material? Why have parents not realized that whatever goes into the mind will eventually be in the heart?

Lots of the emails revealed another problem. Many email addresses had words in them that were occultist in nature. Words like witch, poison, potion, cat, goddess, etc. were in the email addresses. This represents the large number of children and young people who are already involved deeply in the occult and the like. Many secular doctors, psychologists, etc are now warning of the effects of violent video games and other similar problems. So what do the marketers do? They say, lets get our kids back to reading! But instead of wholesome, pure reading, they send out material, which has a fascination with white magic, grotesque creatures, and other things. This fantasy world is unrealistic. When will America wake up and get back to Godliness? Why are we becoming so immoral?

Thanks Potter fans for helping to reveal the truth about yourselves and the Potter series. We have enjoyed the dialogue. Oh I forgot one thing! One mad fan sent viruses and a note connecting them with Potter fans. Our system caught the viruses both times that were sent on two different days. The FBI now has the info. I imagine such children have no idea that it is a crime to seek to destroy another's hard drive. Wake up, parents!
